Do you really think arbitrage isn't happening? It's always running. The problem is that the order books are just empty, nobody is actively trading the token. It's no secret that many projects artificially pump their volumes just to keep their tokens listed on CEXs by hiring specialized m-m firms to provide liquidity

When you all started talking about arbitrage it sounded interesting but the real volume is not there to make it a safe bet and not at any scale that could make predictable profit worth the effort in my opinion. Maybe A.I. agents could make it work but that is above my pay grade.

Whatâs certain is that if order books are very thin, it will be impossible to arbitrage large amountsâmaybe only small ones. Iâve never personally tried arbitraging POLIS. I bought some on a CEX a long time ago, and even back then, a few thousand dollars could significantly move the price. There are different ways to arbitrage. Buying a token on one exchange, transferring it, and selling it on another is, in my opinion, the worst form of arbitrage. AnywayâŚ

C4 will need actual assets as the backbone of any activity. So, having alts would require more assets. And since asset ownership is uncapped in C4, there's really no point in splitting it up, aside from playing multi-faction (which also has a lot of negative aspects to it, particularly the dilution of your own assets).

Me too. If anything, the entire premise of the Sage economy serves as gatekeeping towards weird activity. Everything costs something.
(Of course, considering no actual on-chain workarounds exist, which I'm sure the PTR will serve its purpose towards plugging all issues).

honestly one of the biggest things would be the amount of crew needed for larger pvp holders to both play and fully leverage their pvp on top of trying to do cross faction manipulation, those with smaller amount of total assets that use them in more focused ways will grow faster and eventually be able to remove that layer of influence

sage / c4 is the econ side of the game, this is mostly for those who want to produce / extract or for when engaging in the larger scale conflicts - this ultimatly produces the resources and content for the ue5 side that will push people to actively participate in the way you are thinking - the fact is that the ai agents are perfectly capable of keeping a functional economy running and that is ultimatly what we need from c4

honestly hard to tell right now, I doubt that the extra z.ink you get will add up to more then what your spending from launch value, however if z.ink goes up enough any little amount adds up as well so at this point I would say its more about supporting the team then it is for immediate return

Shooter has been broken for months.. if game goes over 5mins pretty much random people turn immortal.. so unplayable . Especially for tournaments. Think super phoenix sports is in the top 1 percent of streamers on twitch and getting a lot of exposure for Star atlas. But shooter not playable and other games dropping a bit. No one to fix bugs team allocated what staff they have to c4. Understandable but man seems like a quick fix. Like use dao funds to hire someone to fix it real quick.. a lot of people were let go hire one back for a month to fix stuff through the dao or something. Shooters seem like the most dominant games right now in all gaming and we have a broken one.. so would be cool if we can bring people into that. Image a star atlas battle royal . yeah the issue is money at the end of the day, sage directly brings in money ue5 does not, z.ink is another direct revenue stream so therefore it gets priority, the quest part of ue5 creates the mechanics that they will need to connect c4 and ue5 so therefore that gets priority as well, it sucks but there we are, and no the dao does not have the funds to try to get someone to fix the bugs in shooter mode

At current mode, Starbased, yes. But research a LOT before joining. It's tricky. And small investments aren't profitable, because of SOL fees.
This PTR mode is the test environment for the next iteration, C4. Which will replace Starbased.
