Hello there! In Holosim you start from scratch, you dont use your real assets, its the free to play version of SAGE for those who wanna try the game before buying assets. You didnt connect your wallet, since its not actually possibile ( Sage is running on Solana, Holosim is running on Zink devnet), you may have linked your Holosim Profile to your wallet in case you win some prize at the end of the competition, or you may have linked your Holosim account to your zProfile to get zExp and farm Zink airdrop!

Hi, it looks like I linked my Zink account to my Holosim 2.0 account, but it was very confusing and unclear. Is there a way to tell if I linked the right Holosim account to my Zink account? I have one main account/wallet.
My concern is that while creating the new Holosim profile, I accidentally created three profiles because the page wouldn't refresh and I clicked "Create Character" several times. Then I restarted the page, it continued, but I found myself with three profiles. I chose the lowest one, thinking it might be the first. Then I linked it with Zink from there.

nah, the zXP is worthless. You can max at 1m zXP, if you complete all 550+ acheivements in the game. Which is impossible. Just to get a 1/4 of that, youre talking about daily 8+ hour sessions

so if you play holo 80 hours a week, AND took every enemy base and farmed all the acheives, you might get 1m zXP, if you play casual, more like around 100k at the most

you can go buy one plat crew pack and earn about the same clicking the button 1 time

A small vent and reflection on the current state of the ecosystem. In my opinion, Holosim is killing Star Atlas. SAGE, which should be the heart of our experience and economy, has been pushed aside, and the result is visible: ship prices have completely collapsed.

Holosim has created a dynamic where the utility of physical ships has been drained. If the simulation offers rewards or entertainment without the risks and operational costs of SAGE, the incentive to maintain and operate real fleets disappears. This creates massive selling pressure and devalues the assets of those who invested in the project from the beginning.

The question remains for the team and the community: What is the real incentive today to acquire and hold ships? If the game continues to prioritize simulated environments over the real asset economy (SAGE), we risk turning our NFTs into merely decorative items with no market value. We need an urgent rebalancing that returns the spotlight to SAGE and values those who hold the assets

I understand your logic, but you have to keep in mind that Holosim is way ahead of the current version of SAGE in terms of gameplay (mainly coz of combat).
But Holosim is "just another game". Team has plans how to use it, BUT ones C4 is live - this 2 games will not compete simply coz c4 will be on another. c4 will provide dopamine from playing with real assets. If team will make it fun and balanced (which is the hardest part, tbh) - i more likely not ever open holosim or any other game where i dont win or lose real $ while playing.

note that could change once the full scale of conflict is up but not exactly sure how that will work in ue5

as the server structure might not be able to handle 2 or more very large fleets going at it with full boarding mechanics etc

shooting poison at a ship is a waste of time it does nothing, if you can get the poison into the ship that changes things however thats not something that will exactly work because of how a ship is a closed system and any way to get poison into a ship from outside bombardment is also not going to work due to the fact that its already going to be vented

now if you board the ship poison could work but odds are you won't want it as there would be more effective ways of handling the enemy crew

I've been involved in this project for many years and this is the first time I've heard ATOM.

I used SLY and everything worked. But it seems something has changed and now it doesn't work.

There was already a vote and it was approved about SLY

SLY is an excellent tool but Atom provides an excellent alternative which it is important to keep up in my mind as it became essential to run Sage for many players (me included). Hey everyone, I'm Lollo and I'm here to share the exciting news. But first, a bit of context, just to recap.

ATOM won the first Star Atlas Hackathon in 2024. We built an automation tool for SAGE fleets that served hundreds of players, processing millions of transactions per month.

For many of you, ATOM in the last year and a half was one of the reasons to keep playing and earning in SAGE during Star Atlas's development cycles.

During our journey, we also released ATOM Core, a free open-source CLI for anyone to build their own automations (it is the engine behind ATOM).

After ATOM's first launch, community feedback in Foundation Room pushed us to lower our fees significantly (-80%). We accepted for the community, planning to cover costs with the Hackathon prize ($10,000) while waiting for new SA features to unlock more sustainable business model.

After almost two years of operating at a loss, the budget was fully consumed. 🥵

So, we submitted a DAO PIP asking support to the community for a few more months of operational costs, enough to reach C4, just to enable ATOM users to continue their activities as normal (and without extra fees). No gain for the team.
