Is there any detail on what ships might give bonuses or fubctionality when paired together? For example we see the R8 can jettison fuel to the c9, we see the x6 can dock on the c9 deck and we know the Pearce F4 fits in the c9 hanger. Do we know much about how the other races have that inter-functionality? Or is this too far away. I guess with combat coming in the summer then it might be useful to know so we can prepare fleets accordingly...

It's hard to tell, but it is probably a good question for the foundation room. I tag @haughty spindle ; maybe he knows something, but as you said, not too much is known about the stats or any bonuses. There will be so many combinations alone with the modules and how you fit your ship, then add the crew to it. There will be endless combinations, plus the team has to balance everything; many things probably get nerved and adjusted. It's really hard to predict all this.

Most C9-sized ships provide hangar space to other ships 🙂 Take the VZUS ballad for example, if you check the art you see it fits several other ships as well. Though VZUS ships are depicted, in the end every ship that “fits” can be stored there. The C9 is no different in that matter.

In other words: yes, there is a lot of this going on.

You play manually? Sly is the community automation tool most people use and it lets you set your priority fee or make it dynamic.

2nd: you need to remove your ships from faction fleet first, then import them into Sage. Then create a fleet with them, and THEN you can post them for rental.

If you know the exact time it was supposed to take to tow home(how long it would have taken the ship to subwarp from where it was) then you can try to bring him outta respawn at that time

They should get dumped into your CSS inventory when you disband fleet, unless something has changed. you should be able to remove your resources from docked fleets back to CSS before disbanding as well.

To create the fleet it is 0.01. Then with the disband it comes back. However, if we do it through Atlas Prime there is no such contract deposit.

Praytell, wherein lies the problem ? artificially increasing Maxhog crafting recipe, isn't going to magically make those other ships increase in value.

The main "issue" is that with non-craftable ships, the supply is all in "out of reach" territory, due to them being priced at VWAP, and nobody will buy at that price, so their supply, in essence is artificially less, whereas craftable ships, in theory, get pumped out all the time, especially if they are that cheap, and people pumping them out, are looking to sell at a profit, and the supply just far outweighs the demand (which is just the case for all smaller class ships in the game) I mean, there are still X4s for sale by ATMTA, listed at $25, nobody will ever pay that price for them anytime soon, artificially making the supply less. If ATMTA supply of popular ships is sitting at ~10% of VWAP, that's just freemarket at work.

I will happily admit, that a $10 raw mats priced maxhog is too cheap, that's pricing Mamba EX at ~$150 a pop

but a now $35 raw craft of Maxhog, is pricing Mamba EX at ~$420 a pop.

This is true, but not for everyone. You need to have transport ships to maintain food, i personally scan with XXS and i am fine, but i doubt you will be able to do it, right. I disagree here, planning for the future is part of the strategy, sure that you can screw up, but you can also gain an advantage, I don't claim to be the smartest guy in the room, but my strategy involves allocating a certain % of profit to accumulating assets i will (possible) need in the future. If you remember last year we had RFR meta with insane ROI on small ships we used for scanning (lowbies was best 3month 100%roi), at that time I am proud of the decision to buy imp tips instead of lowbies, I was losing about 20-30% of efficiency by scanning with them, but then with the release of LP the prices for lowbies collapsed and the players who went all-in on this asset were disappointed, I sent my tips to mining, which became a new excellent meta for some period of time

Smaller (ish) players that had a goal of crafting a ship (Hog) will probably be forced to sell raw, because it's very very hard to craft a Mamba with low investment (as it should be).
Slightly bigger players will most likely go to FICs, or SDU installing. We'll probably see a climb up in Atlas emissions from FICs, especially with rentals kicking in harder.
I can see a recipe "update" for FICs soon-ish, to account for the extra inflow of R9. Essentially, cutting earnings. Because right now the ONE element that holds all value of everything together is the pegged value of all R9 relative to the FIC fixed Atlas redemption price. If that goes lower, everything else follows. LP is just an illusion of pegging, FICs is where it's at.

The current state of the game makes most participants contributors to kickstarting the economy of the game. Most people at the moment are playing the browser based version of the game called SAGE, which is basically a resource management and logistics game. If you use one of the 3rd party, community created, automation tools, the time commitment becomes alot less. If you opted to do everything manually, you might end up getting abit frustrated after awhile, as it is still very much in testing phase, with alot of bugs present.

In terms of money commitment, if you're able to sink $500 - $1k into the game, you could probably start to make a decent return (if you know what you're doing). Right now, the game is not super small player friendly, primarily due to the high cost of transaction fees that are flat, and impact the smaller player the most.
