I had 3 unsuccessful attempts of completing crafting on solflare. The transactions went through but the crafting never completed. I switched to Phantom and it completed first try. Phantom seems better for congested Solana. Solflare is much better and cheaper when there is no congestion

And I'm grateful that they are on Solana, because with all the daily transactions I make, using 20k of Increased Fee, I pay 4 dollars on the day. You can fix the Slowlona issue by installing sly, click tools button, click settings and adjust the max lamports setting. Have mine set to 20,000 and I get completed transactions ranging from $0.0042 and $0.0013

Worth it for my smallish operation.

Sly is easy to set up, (although admittedly the step by step instructions where not extremely clear) just visit sly discord if you need help.

Lamports setting is the first box under global settings and is labeled “priority fee”

Actually I’m finding, at least in this case, with the right tools, the fee is not the issue, just the learning curve.

Yeah. Since you can get solona to work on sly if you add a small fee in global settings, it like an extra $0.001 or less. Not interested in doing manual so no idea what wallet/system would allow to adjust priority fee. I’m hoping people will learn of this before mistakenly selling their ships, (very low buy orders right now, but good buying opt for people to put in junk orders) especially when this happens again. I do find solona to be extremely unfriendly to new and longtime users alike, really only easy to use if you are an expert. I mean it’s really simple, if your wallet A isn’t working, and wallet brand B isn’t working, some percentage of people will mistakenly sell their ships, while also looking at misleading price action due to ftx sales and the team waiting to release surge until it’s perfect (good idea)

Yeah a LOT of people here hold solona, but from my research it’s not going too nor has it scaled well. I wonder if using solona is like, pull the boat from the water, duct tape it, put it back in the water. And we’d be better off with Sui, aptos or sei (not sure about sei) and just understand that solona did what it needed to do, was the right pick at the time, and it’s use was not in vain, I mean I wouldn’t have become so interested if they didn’t use it to begin with, I thought that it was a bold move and loved the bravery and forward thinking. So now they could begin the massive task of switching to a scalable chain. I mean solona isn’t going to handle mass adoption in my un-humble opinion. Anyone who wants to argue differently saying that it’s misunderstood and they just need one more golden update, will have to ignore the solona team’s inability to plan for the future, I mean seriously they had a LOT of time since the last major “congestion event” and what they did to fix the issue didn’t work.

My intention wasn't to offend you, it was genuine reaction, ADA isn't Bitcoin, it's Cardano blockchain currency, but recently Cardano team has (I'm over simplifying here) built a way so you can sign transactions from the bitcoin network on an ADA wallet, it was easier for it to do so because they share almost the same basics "UTXO".
