hi all, I'm pretty new to playing SAGE labs and I have a question about the solana transactions. I haven't enabled auto-approve because I want to get a sense for it first. I noticed that every once in a while, there is a much more expensive transaction that I need to approve, it's about .002 SOL, which is like half a dollar I think. It's tagged as "fleetstatehandler" in the blockchain explorer. there are other transactions tagged the same way which are much cheaper. Why aren’t ships free?

Might sound crazy but I was thinking in the shower and I got this idea. Why are ships not just free for polis stakers?

Economically speaking it makes no sense to hold ships in a 𓄀 market. The price just stays the same. I had over 25k in ship’s until 6 months ago and I had to sell as it was clear they would not go up in value but solana sure would and many other things too.

So what if ships were free to use based on how much polis a player has staked. Then at least polis would have a chance at going up in value.

Selling my ships for solana 6 months ago was a good decision looking back and now if forced to look at that and ask why anyone would hold any great amount of money in ships during a 𓄀 market. Its reality a sacrifice for the player.

Has anyone ever thought of this? I can’t be the first.

Also, in hindsight you are probably right from a ship value perspective, but also, no one knows what will happen in the future. it's possible ships value can go back to there origination price level, or maybe even higher, then probably one would be thinking they should have held their ships back then ... so yeah, hindsight is always 20/20

But what is very clear is that holding ships in a bullmarket made no sense 6 months ago, it makes no sense today and you can come back to this post in 6 months and see if its hindsight that is 20/20 or nothing will change economically for SA because the economic model may be broken. Im not sure if I have a good idea or not but its a different idea. Sometimes different is good and sometimes its not. But not considering differing opinions is always a bad idea!

hi, there seems to be some sort of issue when I try and refuel/rearm or supply any cargo item into any fleet. I've refreshed and hard refreshed multiple times and nothing works, but one of my fleets is at 51% ammo and 18% fuel for some reason even though I wanted all of these aspects on every fleet to be at 100%. my final issue is that I have ships for one specific composition but I want to reform the fleet as I've taken screenshots of all previous fleets but lo and behold absolutely no ships in any space station whatsoever that are needed for that composition except for one in mud css.

after you mined, you need to offload your cargo and replenish your food and ammo to start mining again

dock your fleet then transfer the cargos from your ship to the starbased you're at then reload what needs to be reloaded

It’s just sad that BASED is still not playable as it should be. I don’t know what the team has been cooking during the bear market, but it sure doesn’t seem like it was BASED.

are they needed for the small person who only has five ships per say... and is this why i see dots on the map that are not on bases.....
