Yeah use at your discretion but they have a pretty good setup there including a channel where folks vouch for each other and report back on successful trades. Also there’s an on chain escrow program made by S&B that some folks there use. Ask for a trusted middleman if you want to be super safe.

rpc providers are a bane in web3... Shit moves so fast and none of them seem to keep up to date. Not sure if it's a communication breakage, or something else. But it always seems to take too much time when things update to then get the RPCs to follow suite.
