SDU margin is still fine, unless you are sitting on really low % tiles. but generally it seems that the effective hit rate went lower (b/c of global cap + more people sitting on high % tiles), + toolkits went up in price, + SOL increased has a real effect on scanning cost...

although w/ a bad scanning strategy I could see somebody basically breaking even (or worse), or having a low enough ROI to not make it better than mining

this might be the global cap blocking you. I don't think there is a way to know whether you whiffed or it got blocked b/c of global cap. (unless it was a partial reward like 1-9 SDU)

There is a limit to the total SDUs that can be found per minute in the whole system. 1500 i think? So if 1500 have already been found within the last minute, you get 0, even if you would have rolled a successful scan.

That's very weird. I suppose it's possible there is some sort of bug. If it says you have 50% and there are no other users in the area, it should reward, on average, after 2 scans. 3-4 would be possible. But 10 seems excessive. It's possible the global max emission was reached for that minute. But that also seems unlikely as my data doesn't suggest that we're above max.

The thing is, you have the "crafting stations", so from my guess at some point that will put into game, and major mechanics may be changed, who knows maybe instead of crew you will make crafting available only with the crafting station, making ships obsolete. That's also why I am asking.

Another question: if for example I have om, x5, and x4 and form a fleet of all of them, is the game considering the statistics for all of them? consider the total count of the Max warp distance, subwarp (for example) I wouldn't want to find myself with the om that can travel and the x4 stopped because it ran out of fuel

About crafting: start crafting with max resource I have, the tab display "30min to finish". After a couples of minutes I see the button claim but when I approve transaction I see "transaction will be reverted " . It s normal?

What we could do is check if some DACs accepted wallets with no ships and no POLIS, just to get a higher members count. I don't hink so, but we could exclude those wallets as long they don't hold any assets. I think that would be an improvement. So thanks for that hint. 🙏

well it'd have to scale with ship size exponentially due to the increasing cost from size to size, I'd reckon that just flinging XXSes at ships wouldn't be far off from just lobbing regular missiles but when u get up to capital ships it'd probs be enough to take out a starbase entirely, or at least cripple it immensely
