Hey all, Sage Labs efficiency question: I’m Oni and I’m trying to craft hydrocarbon>poly. I mined over 1 million carbon from MRZ-13 since it has 2x Carbon richness and have been transporting to the nearest hydrogen asteroid @ MRZ-20. Realizing I’m burning tons of fuel as my fleet only carries 21k at a time. I should probably just mine my carbon+hydrogen at MRZ-20 right? And if so, what is the point of MRZ-13 if any other necessary resource is very far away (as far as crafting any other compounds)?

nope the seed is how you get to the wallet on the network, the network is seprate from everything, nothing is stored on your divice itself ever

there is no way to lock a seed to a divice at all

ledgers are vounerable to auth attacks as well as stolen seeds

so the saga would be vounerable to those as well

#

the benifit of the saga/ledger is the seed is never exposed to anything that can be accessed without direct access to the physical divice

nope its more of if you put the seed on a hot wallet then the ledger is now just as compromised

also means putting an already hot seed on a ledger still means its vounerable to having been compromised, if you scrub the divice the hot wallet was on its just a bit safer assuming it was not compromised
