Not sure, but I wouldn't get hung up on getting a claim stake. I'd focus on seeing how/if you want to play the game. Figure out if you want to mine or scan for sdus. Do that and once you feel good about your route, then you could circle back and review claim stakes. I'd hate for you to buy one, then decide you didn't like it and then have to sell it and lose a bit of money

buying food ammo etc from marketplace isn't too expensive when just starting out

Hey! At this time we have the Star Atlas UE5 first private version, is on the Epic Games Store and is currently on release 2.1.9. In this release, all ships are flyable, even in their clay model phase. To play the game you need a key to redeem in Epic's store, which you get by having a ship in stake for 7 days, but if you don't have it we can offer you a key. Other features currently in-game include: timed race courses, flight combat training, multiplayer testing, and an experimental mode that lets players view levels and characters that are still in development.

Yeah, solflare has been buggy since the JUP drop. It will probably be fixed once SOL network stabilize. As workaround you can use phantom with the same wallet as temporally solution.

Your wallet is in SOL blockchain. Solflare and Phantom are just interfaces that allow you to interact with it.
If you import your private key or recovery phrase from Solflare in Pahntom you should be able to see the same wallet in both.

Be extremely careful if you decide to do that. Do not share your seed phrase or private keys with anyone and keep it as safe as possible

also going to be honest sa may need to fork if the network is going to get like this from time to time, would save a lot of devtime in having to constantly reoptimize the bc code

Sorry, cannot find that page or I am reading it and falling to understand how the faction can provide passive bonus to ship hull reinforcement or firepower aside from being able to make ships and components that have better hull reinforcement or firepower. Will being MUD give you bonus to ship weapons if your ship is Tufa Feist or will my tufa receive another bonus to hull reinforcement because I am in USTUR?

Maybe Noot can help with this topic. I have chosen USTUR because my Tufa has superior slot for Hull reinforcement and 2x maneuvering thrusters. USTURS are good at making these. Might need to do some trading on the market to get pierce weapons, but maybe the tufa weapons will be better, who knows

I would think that any sort of DOS against Phantom infrastructure would only impact stuff within their app - like initiating a transfer, listing tokens, in-app staking, etc.

I think the big problem is that JUP swaps are taking multiple hops to transact. I'm not actually swapping, but at Jup.ag if you try to swap between JUP and any other coin, it will show 2 or 3 hops via multiple liquidity providers to suceed. So every swap is multiple transactions on the chain. Eventually the liquidity should settle around the ecosystem and this will die down
