I'll tell you, the sketchiest part of playing star atlas is having to enter a seed phrase to link the wallet. There has to be a better way. I just downloaded onto a new build and I have to enter it, and i'm realizing how bad this is for attracting noobs. We teach everyone to never enter seed phrases anywhere except a wallet. And this can def make people nervous.

I know I know, I also have ledger and use that but my main star atlas assets are in a non ledger wallet beause I started with that.

I don't think there is one with no fee, Sol network needs fees to operate. Currently it seems that Solflare is not using priority fees that much compared to Phantom at least for me. Keep in mind that this could change. Definately turn off Atlas prime for now as it can add additional fee on the transactions

Currently there are different instances of the game:

1. Star Atlas Showroom in Unreal Engine ( Epic Games ) - you don't actually need nfts to test it out currently, but if you have them you can use them in game. There is no current economic loop here because it is really early pre-alpha but it is a glimpse of what is expected the main game to look like. You can race and train in third person shooter with bots there. Needs relatively good pc and gpu to play.
2. Sage Labs - you will need at least a single xxSmall Ship and some R4 ( these are the 4 basic resources - fuel, ammo, food, toolkits ) to test it out. This is the economic and crafting loop.
3. Faction fleet/claims - here you can stake ships and claims, feed them R4 and generate Atlas or generate R4 passiveliy from claim stakes and miner ships. This one is expected to be deprecated and the Atlas emissions are gradually being moved to Sage Labs.

So I guess you can say the the main game at the moment is Sage Labs. And yes, you will need a ship for it.

Currently the basic start that seems optimal is 10x xxSmall ships. For example 10x Fimbul Airbikes or Opal Jets. This allows you to create a single fleet of 10 ships that will give you optimal SDU scanning power for the buck. Keep in mind that this is not a financial advise just an example of the current meta of the game.

I would have personally included more R4 with that purchase. The amount that comes with the Solos not gonna get you anywhere in Galia if you don't play it perfect. If it is focused for Sage maybe give it some more toolkits and fuel. This pack gonna get you like 24 scans

I don't know for sure, it is based on my observation of tests yesterday. Now there is a new build. Also I don't have windows account with Microsoft user to test, I only have local user on it. Daily reward is 0.57 Atlas per day for a Solos. I have a single one staked for 24 days and I am not sure if it is worth the transaction fee to feed it resources. I need to refuel it every day because it runs out of food. So in order to get 2.85 Atlas from it for 5 days I will have to pay 5 tx of 0.000005 Sol and one additional to stake the fleet, one for token creation, one for withdraw. So 0.00004 Sol will be 0.72 atlas if I am lucky to not use Phantom and hit priority fees. I am left with 2.13 Atlas after 5 days of staking the Solos in Faction fleet. You already got a bag of 1500 Atlas if I purchase in USDC or SOL. Would you realistically advise me to login each day to refuel my single ship for a five days straight for a profit of 2.13 ( this is of course if I don't withdraw the atlas each day. ). Maybe leave it for a 30 days there and wait for next version?

Guys I have a suggestion,
why don't you reduce the steps needed to launch the game from 4 to 1?
Right now you need to click 4 buttons:

1. 'launch game' (unuseful, it is clear that I want to launch the game if I'm on that website)
   2.'launch wallet choose' (unuseful, what else could I want to do if I'm trying to enter the game?)
2. 'connect' (the only one that should remain)
3. 'launch labs' (totally unuseful, I have already chose to connect the wallet, it's obvious that I want to launch the game)
