Doxie derby is the most popular

Public tickets open tomorrow (Wednesday) at 8am pacific

You can get up to 4, all are free

The other two ticketed events are Davis dance revolution and the fashion show

Those cost money but are already out (except not the third I forgot about which is chemistry show that comes out day of)

The schedule of events is also already up online

Is there no way you can take the Capitol Corridor train from Sacramento to Davis

Bc Davis Amtrak station is only a 15-20 min walk from campus and the train ride itself is also only around 20 minutes

And they’re only one stop apart

recently started considering davis for CS, I like the campus and the fact that its in state (also because people i know are going too) but ive heard some bad things about the professors and getting classes here for CS

can anyone speak a little into Davis' CS program?

i'm not a current student or anything, (actually i'm also accepted cs), but i visited on aggie day and got to see the computer science booth and presentations, it might be leveling up a little because it just got moved from the college of arts to the college of engineering, but this dude (senior) i was talking to at the booth was kinda emphasizing the importance of personal projects(kinda felt like he was implying it was hard to get research/internships, later i was talking to one of the profs and he was like "doing research for another department qualifies as internship" and the projects some of the seniors were presenting seemed nice

According the us department of education the median salary for students from info sciences(includes DS and statistical ds) is 129k

Uc davis has a soccer team

Purdue doesn't

Davis social life just seems better and the parties at Purdue are exclusive and it'll be tough for me to get into parties there as an international student
