She also added that they are admitting only a small number off the waitlist this year since they have had a strong yield. I am hopeful we get some closure this week, fingers crossed."

And another from A2C reddit about 2 hours ago: "i emailed earlier, can confirm that they said a few students will get off this year! THERE'S HOPE! but they emphasized it's a very small amount 🥲 "

The LOCI stuff is probably secondary (as I understand it). So if they have an unmet enrollment need for violin players or whatever, and they have 100 violinists on the WL, then they'll probably weight based on LOCI... (again, guessing!)
