it depends, what do your FA forms say in terms of expected family contribution? if your family makes a lot and your fafsa said they're expected to pay 100k, it's unlikely they'll change it. It may be they miscalculated something or you submitted things wrong if you're expected to pay far more then you thought

My family makes a decent amt of money but I have other siblings presently in college at out-of-state universities so its like
