generally the clubs are pretty similar for engineering at most schools which is formula SAE. perk though here is it's easy to use a lot of the labs whenever you want + undergrad research

If you are comparing between ucsb and cal poly, I think you'll get a good education at either. Cal poly will allow you to do major classes early (1st/2nd year) while SB does major classes much later. Classes are more impacted at SB iirc so it'll be much harder to get into classes. Outside of what I just mentioned, personally I think it's vibes on where you want to live / vibes of the campus being the most important ngl

Best campus I've toured, social scene seemed chill, a little more focused on Interdisciplinary studies, also the area is epic.

I'm not used to the quaintness of the SLO area, but downtown was chill. Also the beach is nearby so I enjoy.

My top choices were UCSB, NEU, and Cal Poly. But Cal Poly definitely feels the best for me and my major personally.

I need more final thoughts but I likey. 🙂

So, according to the 2022-2023 common data set, it seems that 10233 people were offered a spot on the waiting list. It doesn't show the data of those who accepted a spot (Idk if they auto select you for the list or you have to accept a spot). But out of those people who were offered a spot, 345 people were accepted. This leads to an acceptance rate of 3.37%. But again, Idk if you have to accept a spot or not because it doesn't give the number of those who accepted a spot. If you do have to accept a spot, the percentage is probably different.
