For me, the two partly depends on what type of load order your running. Some lighting mods are compatible and work in tandem with one or the other. Some ENB compatibility patches for example are compatible with ELFX, others or not.

If your not running a load order that's heavy on changes or makes plenty of level design edits (like JK's city overhauls for example (both lighting mods make changes to some light source placements if I remember right)), then it's mostly just down to preference in my opinion. I've found that more mods seem to have compatibility patches for ELFX than compared to the first one though, but that's only based on what I've personally seen so far.

This was originally an option, but was removed due to abuse from folks releasing pirated ports.

this mod adds a female only chainmaster daughter armor,you can forge it if you have a dwarfen blacksmith perk (and 22 gold ignots),buy it from the outdoor blacksmith in markath or go to kolskeggr mine and defeat the chainmaster daughter she will be hard to beat but the reward is good she has the armor and there is enough ore to make 2 outfits,each outfit is worth 5000 so if you win that is 15000 to sell to a merchant

the armor is made from a chainmail mesh each chain is seprate (it is most noticable on the dress) i think it works good with the beast races but any female can use it

Looks like you have a conflict between two mods that make a race edit. Probably a beauty mod and something that edits racial attributes.

Moving things won’t make a difference in that case. You’ll need to get rid of one of the mods causing it. Unless there is a patch.

on xbox i use ordinator and theres perk that allows me to upgrade alcemy lab or grindstone. It says it can be disassembled by sneaking

Hey quick question for everyone. How do I go about in looking as to what is conflicting with an NPC's outfit? I recently discovered that, for whatever reason, a character is stripped of almost all of their clothing.

Not exactly, after rigorous examination I discovered that WACCF was causing the issue especially I believe when in compatibility with Survival Mode Improved and/or Economy Overhaul & Speechcraft Improvements. Managed to work it out with SSEEdit though so now she's back wearing her blue Dunmeri robes

Glad you got it sorted. If it helps any in the future, you can run xedit with all your mods loaded, find the NPC in question, then whichever mod is winning will be at the extreme right-hand column. Not always, but usually can be solved by overwriting one to the bashed patch and then dragging the components you want from the other into it.

Console. I moved my imperious races mod to get it to work and my game went downhill. I had a crash here and there but now its worse. Glad I take pics of my LO so I can go back to my previous set up. What mod manager is better won't depend on whether or not its Special Edition. Both MO2 and Vortex are great choices, and if you prefer the UI layout of the original NMM, then you might like MO2. At the very least of it all, both serve their primary function very well.

could someone add a basement to the Vilemyr Inn? needs just the faintest hint of night mother's ritual--maybe just the book and a nightshade on a corner table, with a bucket and some bloody rags. the rest of the basement can be mostly clutter and cobwebs--with a cask of stolen black-briar mead, of course. can go a bit darker, adding a cot with shackles, but keeping it understated is the idea.
