Finally replaying Helgen Reborn... I forgot how it's almost comedic how fast the quests get harder. In the recruit tests, I mean... they're all easy until the haunted mines, and the next one isn't too easy either 😂
The city trees mods are supposed to be esl except for the aio. So why are they behaving as esm and going to the top and not letting me place them lower?
And would it cause issues if I had them at the top of load order like that?
ESLs jump to the top below ESMs. ESL-flagged ESPs are the ones you can move around freely.

Hi everyone. For "xbox one skyrim special edition" mod "alternate start live another life", what happens if you warn the riverwood residents instead of going to helgen keep cave?
The cave is optional. The main quest quest updates as usual whether you go into the cave or not.
Okay. Weird bug(ish): after i warned riverwood, I got told to talk to the jarl of whiterun and the quest "live another life" remained in my active quest log until I talked to the jarl of whiterun.
It's supposed to. The quest won't terminate when you do it that way until the Jarl tells you to go to Bleak Falls Barrow.

It’s not creation club specifically that has problems. Just the entire mod/creation/cc downloading process is bugged (requires 2x the space to download) and load orders get re-arranged all on their own unless you go offline. Also your entire library from forever is now there. Instead of just your current library.

Nope. You should be able to access the messaging functions from the forum side of things though.
I see Nexus posts as late as January 2024 requesting an XBox port, so I assume that a port does not exist. The mod author has not responded to these requests (it's possible that he may have answered the question several times in the past and doesn't want to repeat himself).

Bad idea it seems. Never worked for me. Take video/screenshots of your LO. It will help you to restore the mods you want to keep one by one. Take the double space issue into consideration and download the bigger mods first.

there was maintenance yesterday, but i was able to upload after that with no issues 
it could be the version of CK you're using though. the update seems to have completely revamped not only Bethesda.net's layout but the uploading system too.
In that case please feel free to port this. I'm scared to perform any update related to Skyrim.

These Ones(If Possible, All In One Mod Please)- "Solstheim: Dragonborn DLC", "Falskaar", and "Midwood Isle". The reason I would like it "all in one, if possible" is because so far, I always use both "Falskaar" And "Midwood Isle" mods on all characters that I create.

i can't make that happen. it either is or isn't safe to install mid-game, and i don't know which.
the recommended practice is to not install/remove mods mig-game period, any exceptions are done at your own risk.

Can someone please help me My Nightingale Prime replacer armor mod is not working
The only thing I can think of that is affecting it is artifacts of Skyrim mod but I don't know how to fix it
If one mod is overwriting the other you might be able to fix it by switching their positions in the load order around. Be sure to make a save first before trying it, however, so you can safely revert to a backup if it causes anything to glitch.
e.g. if mod A is being overwritten by mod B you change their positions such that A is loaded after B so that its changes overwrite the ones from B instead.

Message them on nexus usually. And perms have to be public. Either ask them to update the perms tab or as them in the mod comments section.
Maybe they should first try seeing if the author will port it themselves rather than jumping straight to the getting someone else to port it for them. Not every author is opposed to porting their mods to console.

Hello, I made a player home mod and want to improve it, but I don't know in which direction to go, can somebody check it out and give some advices?
I think you were pretty creative with the assets available.
I can't check it out in-game at this time, but going off from the screenshots, I would probably suggest the following:
• Use less rugs in the follower's dormatory and the main hall.
• Maybe place one rug somewhere in the Treasury room. That room is also a little too bright in my opinion. Take out some of the chandeliers you already have in there.
• Can perhaps place some floor candles on the back edges of the indoor pool, for atmosphere.
• Not sure how I feel about the two static pillows dividing those two beds in the kid's room.
• Swap out the two circular cobwebs in the workbench room that has green lights in it, with corner cobwebs and move them in the ceiling corners.
But all in all, it looks fantastic.

I have nothing to do and want to learn something new, also there is some old-@## oldrim things that I used that prohibit publishing mods that use them on sites other than nexus, and it would be fun poking author for said permission to see if he is still alive. Otherwise I would need to strip some features for consoles. if I fail at porting myself I will DM you.
You can also just ask here if you need help and/or information. Plenty of authors around with various knowledge about making mods, porting, and so on.

I am giving in and going to ask for help. It has been a hot minute since I played on PC (2 years) and never had issues with using mods. Now on a new computer using Vortex I cant get anything to load on SE. I have watched videos and read reddit posts but I feel like I am missing something big. I currently initiate play through Vortex and these are the mods I am currently trying to get to work (but have many others to add). An addtional note.... I am starting to feel like SE is my problem? I dont understand the creation club stuff thats on the loading screen. When I look at the load order, my mods are there but still do not seem to active in game.
Creations shouldn't affect anything mod-related in this way. Is the path to the games data folder in vortex settings right? Have you deployed your mods? Are plugins in the vortex plugin tab enabled? You can manually check Skyrim Data folder and see if any of the installed mods are present (like SkyUi_SE.esp and something else), What guide have you been following?
Clearly not a good one as none of that sounds familar! Give me a few and I will work through each one and report back. THANK YOU!

I need a way to restart "TG00MaulHandler" because every time I talk to Byrfold all I get is a "Hmmmm" from him.

I have a follow up question - I have successfully gotten mods to work. Some of them are causing me issues. As an example - when I load a game with SkyUI I am not able to move either with my keyboard or mouse and my camera is sorta of bouncing/pulsing, when I disable the mod game is perfectly fine. I noticed it hasn't been updated in a long time, should I assume it wont work on my current version of the game, or could I have other issues? Some mods work just fine (I have a map one that is ok). Same issue with the Ultimate Patch and Campfire. I have been testing separately but its weird that it seems to be the same problem.
UI mods from before the last major patch are usually not viable due to changes that took place in the UI code that such mods need to be updated to account for. You'll need to check each such mod's description and comment sections to make sure it was noted as updated and/or tested as working in the current version.
Also make sure that you have both SKSE and Address Library up to date.

Hello, I am trying to port the mod Val Serano to xbox(I already have permission from the Mod Author), however when I tested it on xbox the npcs are completely broken. As in all of them are floating mouth and eyeballs, none of them respond when interacted with, and many on them are missing textures.
From my testing this only seems to occur when I add the _xbox tag to the bsa when I tested the mod on my computer without it everything worked perfectly.
What makes this extra strange is that I have ported follower and quest mods before with no issues, but this one in particular just plainly refuses to work.
Does anyone have any idea what might be happening and how to fix it? I tested this on new installs on the 1.5.97 and the 1.6.1179 version of the game on pc if that is any help.
When you packed the archive did you make sure to select the correct platform? E.g. https://i.imgur.com/z6pB75k.png
I don't use the Archive.exe to pack files, I typically use Cathedral Asset optimizer or BSarch

@civic furnace By the way, just to be sure, when you went to upload the mod for xbox did you make sure to have the xbox version of the bsa in the xbox folder? Optionally also removing the pc bsa beforehand? I wonder if perhaps you caused the pc bsa to be uploaded instead, resulting in the bsa not being loaded on console.

I would think not. PlayStation mods can only use vanilla assets.
So any creations need to meet PlayStation requirements to be on PS.
The custom asset restrictions only exist for playstation creations because of Sony.
yeah but all that cc content such as bittercup exists on ps4. so bethesda could add it to the game on ps if they made it a vanilla asset
nope. doing so would mean you'd be forced to install every single VC they ever push through. currently, yeah that's tiny. but when VC takes off (which it inevitably will as more creators get accepted) that could start looking like the majority of your console's storage period, being taken up by VC.

the cc "download" is not the entirety nor even majority of the actual content. you think they compressed that much content into sub 50mb?
why do you think skyrim got a 16gb update when AE dropped? that size increase contains all of the CC.

pay attention to what im telling you. if they did the same thing as CC, every new release would be a forced install to EVERYONE who has the game. which now, that's not an issue really. give it a few months when many more creators get accepted, you'll be doing daily updates for content you can't or don't even use.
why does bethesda have this problem yet no other game does XD. just make it dlc if its that hard and paid content isnt that much rn
i cant explain to you in any simpler terms that while i do agree that VC not being separated from normal mod space makes it hard to justify purchasing, it just is not a feasible approach given the way they plan to treat it moving forward.

I think there have been a handful of different releases since this all started. I’m glad I haven’t had to update my game 5 times for mods I will never use.
"Creation Club" is official DLC. That's why you can download those on Playstation. Some were made by mod authors, but they were officially contracted for them by Bethesda who then assumed ownership.
"Verified Creations" are not official DLC. They are entirely user generated. As such, Sony does not allow them to be treated the same way.
So your issue is with Sony, not Bethesda.

Is ticking xbox-360-archive checkbox in archive.exe necessary for it to function on console? Didn't see anything else console related and packed like a regular pc archive
I obviously cant test my mods on xbox since I dont own one
I don't use archive.exe directly; I use the CK's option for packing archives. And as far as I know it likely is necessary, probably due to the different filesystems; I can't imagine they put it there for the fun of it. When converting mods for use on Nintendo Switch, for instance, the archives for that also have to be repacked specially for the system - although it is done using a third-party tool since there is no official support for that.
@honest wasp It's also worth noting that unless your mod only has scripts in the bsa archive(s) you're probably going to end up doing some sort of optimizations to the files for the xbox version that will require preparing a different archive anyways simply due to the differences in hardware capabilities of the xbox one vs the average gaming PC - both in terms of power and storage. People playing xb1 Skyrim only have 5gb of space to work with for mods, so they often have to perform aggressive compression and reductions in resolution to get the space usage as low as they can. This was further complicated by the recent major patch which altered the way mods are installed on consoles to require double the mod's filesize so it has room to place the compressed mod and then decompress it.

If you mean in terms of the archive platform option, you'd have to ask Bethesda.

I suppose if you were adamant about it you could try creating a small test mod with an archive packed both ways and then have someone with a console attempt to upload it to see if it works for one or both, but I still think it's largely pointless because if your mod has an archive large enough in size that you feel having to repack a console-specific archive is cumbersome then you likely would want to optimize the files specifically for console so that it's not a resource hog which will then require a separately packed archive anyways.
well the original archive is around 170mb. I will remove custom music and cut textures in half and see how much it helps
Well, the feedback thing is part of why I just set up my own private discord, then put the link in mod descriptions. It'd be nice to have a comment section on the mod itself, but until anything on that front changes a personal discord is the next best thing imo. That said, though, I don't miss getting 100 comments asking questions about things the mod's description already answers. 
You might not have to remove the music (unless its copyrighted and you lack redistribution permissions) but rather run it through one of the audio tools for optimizing it. I just can't remember what it's called, though.

No, it isn't necessary. The only ones you need to tick in that right hand row are the "Retain Directory Names" and "Retain File Names". If you are compressing the archive (fine for textures and meshes) then you also tick the first one "Compress Archive".
No, you don't need to check that box. As Skyler suggested though, you should pack the archives using the CK. For XBox, there's a texture conversion step that's needed that using the standalone archive.exe won't do.

I don't recall ever mentioning that manual archiving adds extra files to the archive.
Only that the CK packaging process is how it should be done because the devs have said the coversion process sets up the texture formats to properly run on console. Probably an optimization step. One of those "just because you can upload unoptimized stuff doesn't mean you shoud" situations.

It was on the old forums that don't exist anymore. They were addressing questions about DDS formats on console and mentioned that the CK is the optimal way to deal with it because it runs the necessary DDS format conversion for you. The manual archive.exe tool can't do this.

Guys, there is a very simple way to know this is a thing, if the CK does a format conversion, then it is a simple as, once the bsa has been created by the CK, open it, get the texture, compare it with the original, if there is any change, then there is a difference, if not, then there is not format conversion, only compression of the BSA itself
At most it is probably a BC7 vs BC3 conversion factor
This is not at all the same thing as saying the end size of the archive is larger. You literally said that I claimed it adds a 3mb file to the archive which never happens.

Walking around and combat showcase currently sitting at around 259 mods and so far stable. Very vanilla+ expanded experience familiar yet fresh.
Absolutely none the clearer about what the supposed benefits to using CK to pack files is. 'The devs said its the way to do it' doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence, given that half the things they broke in the December update still aren't fixed. CK itself has always been a nightmare without fixes being installed, so the idea that it's the definitive way to pack a .bsa and none must question it strikes me as more than a little credulous.

That one above is the best I’ve seen for your player only. But of you want all retextures I would check one that includes opulent outfits, or divergence or variations. Depends on your personal taste. Variations goes well with Fashions of the fourth era which is great as it includes a lot of assets mostly from common clothes.

They might not be upgradeable, nor enchantable. Nothing states that they can in the description.
@dusky siren Version 1.15 of Debug Menu is now uploaded. You should be able to now retreive the beacon from that invisible chest. Simply target it remotely by its ID and then use the Activate command on it to open its inventory.
Sorry I should have clarified it- I cannot upgrade anything at all(neither bosmer armor nor aquebus nor vanilla stuff).

I just updated debug menu and checked in game, and it's OK. However, when sorting mods on Bethesda.net on "New", the mod doesn't appear on top although published one hour ago. Seems like mods aren't sorted by "Last updated". Thanks for giving us a bit of PC taste 👍

@night rover After getting multiple users saying the latest upload for my mod is not functioning, I figured I'd try pushing a small update in the off chance something didn't get uploaded/downloaded and now I'm getting a different fun error 😅
I'm not sure if it helps, but earlier with the prior error message I had been getting at the time I was trying to edit the changelog for a previously released version of the mod to fix some incorrect info I missed; I suspect it may have confused the system resulting in the earlier issue, and perhaps this one as well.

Cart, it seems that the new mod menu has a limit of 37 rows of mods when sorting by view all or by mod author or any option like that. While it makes sense to limit “latest” or “most popular”. It does not work well when sorting by a specific mod author when you click on their name. I tried even sorting backwards by alphabetical or date expecting to see other mods by them but it seem it only is looking at the first part of the alphabet. So in this one case I could see mods A-E or E-A but never the rest of them.

I'm afraid that's entirely subjective. Personally I prefer the base game homes provided by the Hearthfire DLC, but I also don't like the overly cluttered contains-everything homes some people make.

At a guess, probably due to being an oldrim mod. Legacy in the context of legacy hardware/software, perhaps.
I chose to use the 2.2 legacy version of the mod because of it's compatibility with Dreamweaver and it's the most complete version with the least amount of work to do. This is not to be confused with the "Onepiece" version.
Expect frame issues, there are many invisible elements still hanging in the air that take up draw calls and this is a pretty densely built one.
Probably the only version that works on PS.

dimensional rift home xbox one main hall location (pdimrift), supposedly CTD on enter, I cant test it myself and everyone really does not want to provide much info, no mods should be conflicting since the mod is not popular and is not overwriting much. I really wish to provide most useful info, just dont know wich, and I too dont have much info either
Well anything that pushes VRAM like high poly mods could affect performance in a home wherever it is located. If this is a user report to you as the MA I will say 9 times out of 10 it’s a load order problem and usually someone just pushing vram too much. I would ask them to test your mod without any other mods at all on a new game. A clean test. Otherwise there is no way to know if it is your mod or something to do with their LO. And if they won’t provide you any more info I would not lose any sleep over it.

Some vertices are unweighted, hence the long shadows being cast from the creature. Weight painting needs some work overall but will be addressed.

Sounds like you need to check your install again. I've not encountered anything like that on a pure vanilla AE install.

File integrity check only replaces files - it doesn't remove them. If you have loose files from a mod in the directory(s) it won't do anything about them.

Hi everyone. For "xbox one skyrim special edition", can someone please make a non-combat follower(meaning a follower that does not fight)? The reason I asked is because I found a couple of follower mods where the follower has a ton of good dialogue(including comments on different quests/questlines- vanilla, dlc and even other mod quests/questlines) but I do not want my follower to kill steal aka steal my kills.
When I create a patch in the creation kit that changes the height of the landscape, I get a weird texture in game. It's stretched.

Question: i got CFPAO, and Vallhala combat and there is this little problem that i have when attacking that when i try to look horizontaly it is slow and sluggish
hey everyone I am playing skyrim on xbox one and I see a couple of mods that allow you to upgrade the orphanage (although you have to adopt first) and another that allows you to donate 1000 septims to Honorhall. However this playthrough I added reforging to the masses and it allows you to make wooden weapons that you can give your children. I was wondering is there a mod that would allow me to donate toys and clothes etc to the orphanage OR would this be a difficult thing to create. I generally don't adopt through the orphanage I pick the kids I meet in whiterun and windhelm etc, so I was thinking since there are some awesome clothing and toy mods for kids is there a way I can make them at home and then donate them to Constance

Hello can someone help me out please I'm using ordinator but I'm trying to find a mod to make hand to hand combat better is there a mod that I can add on with ordinator that would work with it?
If you like Enai mods then wildcat or one of his other two combat mods is the simple answer. But if you want more than that there are lots of great combat bundles to choose from as well. I still like Fatality. But there are some other newer ones that are probably just as good.
If nobody minds me asking, do you prefer overhaul mods by a single author or not? If so, why? Me, I've gone for a near-complete overhaul with mods by Simon Magus, because not only do they add a good deal of much needed variety, they're also safe to update mid-game.
I tear apart and rebuild my mod lists with each character I roleplay, tailoring each list to the specific needs of that particular character. The only consistent overhaul I use with every character isTonycube's Ultimate Deadly Encounters and Spawns, which overhauls enemies and how they spawn into the game. For perks I use either EnaiSiaion's Ordinator or, if playing mages, Steelfeathers' Path of Sorcery. Also with mages I use a personally-tweaked version of EnaiSiaion's Odin - Skyrim Magic Overhaul. When playing a physical weapon wielding character I use EnaiSiaion's Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim.
It's more that I'm trying to find a way to make unarmed combat more enjoyable I usually use ordinator and wildcat- combat of Skyrim together the modulus I'm trying to do is something for a khajiit Monk build

I’m currently making a sneak archer build with Vokriinator, and pretty much all of Enai’s mods. What skills should this build include besides sneak, archery and light armor?
There is no single correct answer to this. It’s really up to you. But also the way skills work in Skyrim is you level up that skill when you use it. So I guess whatever you use is what you should give perks to as you level up. I don’t mean that to be a joke. That’s just how the game works. So if you use alchemy. Then do that. If you like enchanting then do that. If you like all of it. Do all of it. The game doesn’t really limit you very much. I hope that kinda makes sense.
It does and thanks. I think imma do all of it. By the end of my game, he’ll probably be overpowered/broken and unstoppable. That may be a understatement at that point lol

I guess difficulty setting you choose could delay that a little. But using Enai mods won’t really change getting OP. Mods that affect enemies and their scaling and abilities will do more. But becoming OP is inevitable in Skyrim.

Not that I'm aware of, but possibly. You'd likely be trying to find a mod with spells based on some from the older games like Oblivion and Morrowind that had spells/spell effects like "Absorb Skill".

Hi all, was hoping someone could clarify something for me, I understand as long as we set creation club content as a master file (the user must own the content to play the mod) we can edit it like any other part of the game, but is it then possible to upload it for console users too? And do I have to do something specific to do this? I want to make sure I don’t break any rules and do this by the book.

If you're looking to make a mod that edits one of the creation club creations then having the creation set as a master file is one way to do so, yes. And, due to the way the system works, they would need to have that creation in order to use the mod as the game cannot load if a dependency (a mod's master file) is not present. You can also upload it for console users, but as to whether it would be usable for both xbox and PS4/PS5 or only for xbox depends on what the mod does; in general the mod cannot be one that relies upon SKSE functions as that does not exist on console, and for playstation in particular a mod cannot be more than a plugin file (ESM/ESP/ESL) because playstation mods are prohibited from having any kind of external/custom assets such as meshes, textures, and custom scripts.

This happens when you install a UI mod that hasn't been updated post December game/bnet update. Find a UI mod that says "Updated" in the title or one that was uploaded in December and you won't have this issue anymore. Also, 60fps menus mod does this.

Mods update to work with new versions of the game/Bnet. Not the other way around.
If something is truely broken inherent to the game That is different.
It's not a bug. The update changed the "Mods" tab to "Creations" so the pre-update UI mods are looking for something that doesn't exist anymore. It's a mod issue. Not a Bethesda.net issue.

Might be intermittent or something on your end; the server status page https://status.bethesda.net/en is showing all green. 
No there is nothing that can be done outside of the person who uploaded the mod to update the mod to work with the new "Creations" tab. Like Tanis said, mods adjust to game/site updates. Not the other way around.
You don't have to uninstall/reinstall the game to fix this issue either. Just clear reserve space (removes all mods) and hard reset. Or you can launch the game offline and delete the mod from your LO.

Oh no! Just UI mods we're the issue! Other mods that aren't UI related work just fine still. Just avoid mods like "60 FPS interface" cuz those will break the UI and the updated UI mods are already set to 60 FPS.
EDIT: I just re-read what you said lol Yes, you need the "Updated" version of a UI mod or one that was uploaded in or after December 2023
Yea. It happens all the time. Been like this for years. Status page is green. Servers are not. So nothing really new. Just one more thing on top of recent updates.

@long lichen After testing it out on a random object to be sure, you can also try targeting the object and then use the Activate command on it to move it into your inventory.

i used to have azerite weathers(probably spelling wrong) and realistic water two how ever i nuked my load order and rebuilt it without AW and RWT and it still was doing this artifacting

from my MK1 load order to a stripped version with just CC and debug menu and that pic is from pure vanilla im reinstalling the game rn to see if its just scuffed

yeah i got this one its a bit darker but the bug is clearly by the mouse cursor #skyrim-se-mods message and was captured while running my MK1 load order

OK i was walking through riverwood and was like wait thats a ton of water walked over to the river and yep the waters scuffed there too
as for what the water is doing the "line" isnt stable its bouncing from where it is in the pic to where my coursor is
so no mods on a freash install with a freash save with no CC
so im guessing base game issue

I can't recall ever having seen an issue like this in base game in Riverwood or on any of the bridges near Markarth.
if that mod that skyler posted fixes this ill start by adding all the CC to the game and then check riverwood then if its fine ill throw my mods on and check again

I have no idea if it does or doesn't; just throwing suggestions at the wall to see if something works. I don't recall seeing that bug in the last time I played Skyrim, although I didn't go to Markath at all. I want to say I saw a water bug briefly back when SSE first arrived in 2016 but I figured it had been fixed since then.

@night rover i am unsure if this is the right channel to put this but there is an issue with certain mods on PlayStation like USSEP where when you download the mod it says "bad data in file"
I showed arthmoor a recording of the issue and they said it could be a server error

Another issue that is most likely server side is the "cannot connect to bethesda.net servers" issue you kind of have to brute force your way into the creations menu at times
Are you talking about the water seam? Not sure about that specific one but waters seams have been a thing since day 1 and still are.
Yes that water seam in each picture I've posted is there a surefire way to eliminate it or reduce it cuz its a recent thing for me
When two water textures meet there will be a seam. Not much to do about that. Bit I guess just try some different water mods. One start with either RW2 or RW2. But they will never disappear everywhere.

If you are sure you are playing on a new game. After clearing reserve space . And it only happens with CC then submit a tech support ticket to Bethesda. No one else here seems to have experienced it. So it seems unique to your game for some reason,

No need unless you plan on submitting the videos to Bethesda via your Bnet ticket. Which would probably help them help you.
You can post them on discord so long as they're under a certain file size relative to your account status; people with Nitro subscriptions can post larger video files, etc. Otherwise you'll probably need to use something like YouTube, Streamable, etc.
I'm not sure if microsoft/xbox has their own in-built video sharing thing or not.

This bug appeared after a few rounds of the creation update @amrris_sibihrri on discord if you have any details on what it could be
this recording was done on a fresh install of skyrim after a full purge of mods and downloaded CC then reinstalled the CC but have also had this bug happen without any CC installed

Hmm. Kinda seems like some sort of view distance issue. 
yeah not in the recording but i messed with the depth of feild slider aswell and it didnt effect anything
Depth of field wouldn't affect that; depth of field is an effect where a game tries (horribly) to simulate the effect of human vision where things in the center of our focus are clear while things further out to the peripherals are blurry. It's a really silly addition in games because it eats up resources and doesn't work the way it's supposed to. In order to really work you either need to be in full VR or have the game tracking where your eyes are looking to move the center of focus accordingly. It's one of the first things I disable in basically every game.

How do I get Weapons actually connected to the character with every armor (Using IED), so it wont just fly next to me

Well the old version of Shields On Back you had to tweak the onback nifs to fit for cloaks and backpacks.
So you're probably gonna wanna look into why the mod you're using for that feature is loading the models furthest away from you.
As for things like sheathes... they're usually in a default position.
I’m using MO2 mod manager and i’m having some trouble. When i click the path tab it shows that all my mods are stored under App Data, which is not a browser location I can locate anywhere else besides that path tab within MO2. when i try to set up Nemesis or another tool, I have to set up an executable for it, but that browser menu even though it’s also originating from MO2 can’t locate any of my mods. Has anyone experienced this?
I was able to manually install a second Nemesis file and store it in a folder on my desktop, and unzipped and targeted the exe file that way to integrate Nemesis into my tools list, but it seems like it’s not fully working. Animations aren’t having trouble in game but nemesis can’t seem to update itself or detect my mods
worst case scenario i’ll just drop nemesis since it’s a req of a req of a req of a few armor mods i have. i can do without them
@chilly rover iirc there are a few tutorials on youtube for how to install and set up MO2 and how to get third-party tools like nemesis set up with it.

This mod will allow you to marry hundreds of NPCs (about 750) - almost anyone in the game, even if they're already married (and in that case, their now-ex-spouse will even angrily show up for the wedding). So those only allow one follower and one person to be married at a time
You can have up to 5 followers + 5 pet followers. I guess you can only marry one person at a time. Not sure if multiple weddings would be possible on PS. Never tried those as I'm on Xbox, although I tried multiple wedding and soon removed it. One is largely enough 🤣

Could anyone here make a mod for Xbox that changes dragon aspect's colors to blood red but doesn't add wings and tail or change stats? I asked elsewhere with no luck and I have no idea on how to do this but it would be sick for my vampire playthroughs. I was looking for a color like this spell.
Last time I checked, the Dragon Aspect visuals in the normal game do not have a tail and wings. The "More Draconic Dragon Aspect" mod does add a tail and wings to it. Should check to see if you have it.

There are other versions too. Just avoid anything with KS hairdos in it. And file size should be small.

Ya I had this issue recently. Couldn't even edit the description. After days of not being able to fix it, I had to delete the mod and re-upload.

If you want to show someone your mod list/load order you can also use Pastebin - just highlight all your mods in MO2, press Crtl+C and paste the list in pastebin. Eventually make some dividers for groups like for example "Textures", "Weather", "Landscape", and so on. It's quite easy to use. Once you're done you generate a link of your mod list which you can share with others. Pastebin is only text though - hyperlinks inside the list are not possible as far as i know. But for sharing only the mod list it's enough in my opinion.

Just as a heads up though there’s some bug on Xbox where it thinks mods take twice the space when downloading so make sure to download your biggest mods first and work down by file size, might take some fiddling but it’s doable
Yes there is a glitch since the Dec update where mods get re-ordered. Only work around is to go offline once you download all your mods and organize them offline. Then never go back into the mod menu.
If a mod on creation club suddenly turns in “meaea.esp” does that mean it’s been deleted? Idk what mod it was either
I found that occasionally backing out of the creations menu and letting it save the order works, I arrange a section then back out let it save go back in and all my mods are where I left them

Non-CC mods i.e. "Creations" and "Verified Creations" are both available on xbox. "Creation Club" as a program was ended something like a year and a half ago, back when the Anniversary Edition was released which essentially was the base game combined with all of the Creation Club creations that had been released at the time along with many that had not yet been released. Because there is some slight overlap in terms of terminology and other things some people get confused and think that the Verified Creations are the same as the prior CC which they are not.
Whatever mod that was it got removed. For many possible reasons. But since you already downloaded it it will work until you delete it.

hey all I am attempting to use sseedit to copy one mod into a blank one and it lasts for a few seconds and crashes. I have done this before without issue is there something I'm doing wrong?

the nexus page says they should be in Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition/SKSE but for me it’s SteamApps/Common/Skyrim Special Edition and my skse files are just there without being in their own folder. maybe that’s my issue? i created a new folder called SKSE and reinstalled it but nothing new is showing up there

I can't answer as I didn't use the mods. The home SHOULD be the same, and to my understanding you can replace beds with children beds but it reduces your crew. I think your best bet is to ask the mod author on Nexus, he is quite reactive as he is still busy enhancing and patching the mod. Note that the mod doesn't state any multiple adoptions compliancy in the description.

Hey so how is Skyrim looking nowadays for the Xbox Series S? I know the Anniversary Edition broke a lot of Mods, so I've stayed away from the game since. I'd like to get back into the game while Fallout gets fixed, but I also wanna play with my 90+ mods 😅
Anniversary edition barely broke anything on Xbox. It was a non event. It was the update in December that broke lots of things, though mainly UI mods. These have mostly now been updated. Biggest issue we face currently is that ini files are no longer uploading, and you can only see your last 100 or so mods in CK (so impossible to update older uploads without deleting and reuploading).

Question for mod authors: In some mod descriptions on xbox i read something like "put this mod in the ...section of your logical loadorder, this mod is flagged as .esl" Not sure if it is clear that on console you can't move .esl flagged mods down the loadorder. They always jump on top like master files. Is this something not known and a clear error or maybe just copied text from pc version?
They may be referring to ESL-flagged esp files which are treated diferently from files that have the .esl file extension.
An ESL-flagged esp file basically gets treated as a regular esp file but with the added benefits an esl plugin gets but also some of the downsides; it's a "best of both worlds" option.

ok so im having the same issue AGAIN where i cant do anything in regards to the saints and seducers dlc, i got a mod called "Skyrim Extended Cut Saints and Seducers" that i hope would help me get the content but even then i still can get into the solitude sewers, from my knowledge i have no mods that change how solitude is laid out besides the Legacy Of The Dragonborn Museum, is there any way to fix this issue them im having or am i just having one of the playthroughs where i will never interact with it?

So, i deleted the Unofficial patch and downloaded it again. German translation, version 4.3.1. Last updated on 26.04.But the orange boxes in Robber's Cove are still there. Don't know if anyone else can confirm that. Haven't seen any other boxes so far but the save is rather new. Not so much places visited for now. And i deleted all my old savegames. I could try to delete it again and download the english version but deleting masters is always a little pain on console. Especially when i have mods that depend on it.
What boxes? Those should have been taken care of already on our end. It's possible the translation needs to be updated to match.

For "xbox one skyrim special edition", I think creations(Formerly mods and creation club) is missing two proper skill trees: "1. necromancy" and "2. hand to hand aka unarmed". What about you? It's just the tradeoff. For the convenience and such of a console, you trade away the full modding capability of PCs.

I mean, you still can. They just won't have the bleeding edge utmost cosmetic appearance you seemed to be after. Perhaps try to find some nice armor/jewelry bling to compensate instead. 
I imagine there must be like, say, an eyepatch mod or something. A khajiit in an eyepatch could be a pretty menacing look for a crime cat.

It feels like the beast folk don't get any love from the modding community at least on Xbox
Less appealing in general, I figure. Personally I like to play a khajiit once in a long while, but it's not really as fun as it could be simply due to the NPCs in the game not treating you with the same fear/distrust/hate that other khajiit get, which makes it less immersive to me. It'd be a lot more fun if you got to start off as this outsider and had to slowly put the work in to gain people's trust etc.
I think there's a reputation mod or something that does that if you play a disliked race

One thing I'm having difficult with is adding the roleplay to my game of being a crime Lord because I'm trying to find a way to make skooma more impactful and some kind of gambling fight pit would be really cool

Get a little black market set up under their main building, hold some fighting matches, sell some contraband on the sly, maybe do some fencing of stolen goods but with higher profit margins for them, maybe an NPC or two hanging out there to recruit the player into the Dark Brotherhood and/or Thieves Guild by alternate means than the usual questline starts, and have the whole thing catered with their own wine.
I mean heck in vanilla Skyrim we know betting on fights is a thing because one when you get into a fist fight the NPCs yell things like I'm betting on the big one
More of just flavor text on that, but yeah it stands to reason that sort of thing would actually be in multiple cities in Skyrim.
Not only that and vanilla Skyrim there's a bandit camp that has caged wolves they use for pitfightings which is basically dogfights

Turning NPCs is tricky because as the game currently is, there’s not really any way for a quest to detect if a specific npc has been bitten. The dawnguard quest for turning three NPCs relies on a lot of awkward hacks to work

im waiting on sanguinaire and that mod adds in alot of dif vampire strains and clans not just that it also adds in a humanity feature like what vtm has
Not currently, the feature would need to be added somehow. I’m not aware of any skse features that do that currently
also changes the werewolf stuff a bit but mainly vampires...my fav being laimas strain..(if i spelled her name wrong then free to correct me) if im not mistaken those infected dont turn due to the strain not having a incubation time the person must have theyre blood drained and replaced with vampire blood

not sure why but i believe its cuz of her worship of her god that she can walk in daylight if you know the members of volkihar got theyre vampirism the same way she did though sun light effects theyre powers even if it doesn't drain theyre hp and kill them

installing nolvus for the first time and im doing the install correctly; for some reason it is saying im missing "ccafdsse001-dwesanctuary.bsa" but when i went into the game after a fresh install i clicked the install all creation club content button. i dont know why it isnt recognizing this one mod in there. Can anyone let me know the name of that piece of content that i need so i can manually search for it?

The ones that can’t be uploaded are obviously the more risqué ones.
For xbox, the main determining factor is whether or not the mod requires SKSE. Mods that require SKSE either won't function on console at all or will need to be rewritten to remove the parts that require SKSE. If it doesn't require SKSE, then it probably will work, but there may also need to be some adjustments made depending on how the mod functions.

I don't see any mention of SKSE being a dependency, so it probably can. The mod description also mentions having been ported to SE from LE by someone; try contacting the person who uploaded it by clicking on their name to go to their profile then click the message button:

Hey ya'll. A long time ago I was working on this mod and was trying to figure out scripting and how to get it to work automatically without the need for the console. I managed to "fix" Serana's eyes still glowing after she was no longer a vampire. I wasn't able to figure out a). How to apply her normal makeup tints, and b). Apply a script that applied the fix after the quest was completed. Any suggestion would be helpful. Your u on Xbox and how much space does it say you have and how big is the mod u are trying to download
It is 256.7 megabytes and I have 369.4
What you could try at least it's worked for me once or twice is to delete smaller mods like 20 MB or 50 mb mods delete a couple and then try to download the big mod if that doesn't work you may have to clear your reserved space
On Xbox you always want to try and download your bigger mods first
Sounds like you have ghost space.
You need to have twice as much space available as the mod's size. So with the mod being 257mb you need 514mb free to install it.

Hi. I've just started playing Skyrim SE on Xbox 1 after a few months absence. Downloaded and installed all the updates, started up the game and Creation Club and Mods are missing from the Main Menu. I know it's all "Creation" now, due to changes made. Ingame there's Download Content (or something similar) in the Save menu. The CC mods areall listed, but greyed out and can't be accessed. Please help and thank you.

@leaden bridge Actually, nevermind that. That mod requires SKSE so it wouldn't work on xbox unless the author or someone else is able to remove the parts that require SKSE and implement workarounds.
Without knowing what they're even using SKSE for, there's no way for me to say. But that aside I don't have an interest in porting other people's mods anyways, in no small part because I already have a dozen projects of my own to work on.
Furthermore, if you read that mod's description the author has stated they're not interested in porting the mod and apparently not interested in letting anyone else try, so that pretty much puts that to rest: https://i.imgur.com/k2e4BQ2.png

Looking at the description it's hard to say, but I will say it doesn't bode well for that mod that the person who ported it just copied the entire PC mod description verbatim including installation instructions saying to install it via Vortex which of course isn't an option on xbox.
I suppose you should make sure you don't have another mod that is conflicting with it, and make sure you actually have the mod enabled as well.

Did you try moving the mod further down in your load order so it loads after other mods? If you have something trying to edit the same textures that it does one mod will overwrite the other.
Yep I move it to the bottom of my lower and for some reason it's just bugged out
Define what you mean by "bugged out". That's a very vague description that could mean quite a few different things.
The best way I could describe it is that the body is darkened and only shows up in certain lights while the head and hands are completely visible

The really weird part though is that female bodies are completely fine as far as I can tell

Possibly. What I'm seeing on google indicates it may be a problem with how the textures are set up, it might be a mod conflict, it might be a VRAM issue, and so on.
