So, while I was looking around at Bow mods, I stumbled across a mod that compliments LeanWolf's Better Shaped Weapons. It's called Better Shaped Bows of the Heavens. I'd like to download it but I'm worried it'll conflict with Long N' Short Bows.
if they edit the same meshes and textures then yeah they will "conflict" in the sense that you got to decide which one overwrites which
there isnt anything to really worry about though because those kinds of conflicts are completely fine and there are a billion more conflicts in your LO that you dont know about unless you opened it up in xEdit

no. it still is arguably needed (particularly when browsing your own uploaded content) but it currently doesn't work because the new update either changed or removed the option entirely.
so Ugh. currently does nothing lol. ive seen people claiming it's breaking their Creations Menu, disregard that. the mod just does literally nothing rn but it won't break your game.

@hexed notch The only thing that Long N' Short Bows does is change the weight and damage of the bows in the game and adds Long and Short to bow names. For example, Dwarven Long Bow and Stahlrim Short Bow. It doesn't change anything about the bows model or textures. Unfortunately, it doesn't change any of the Creation Club Bows, just the bows in the base game and the Dragonborn dlc.
Open your entire load order in xedit. Expand Skyrim and look at the NPCS, find her. The extreme right hand column will be the conflict winner.
I have gotten the farthest I have ever gotten on legacy of the Dragon born at 493 displays and three of my displays won’t display items now. I am not sure what else to try. what are the displays? That is not working is the curious mold

it literally tells you exactly what the problem is. you need to update your preset file to adjust the loglevel. I'm sure there's something on the mod page you didn't read with more information

I wanna add a bunch of mods, but it's easier to download them all when they're actually there.
I usually add them from the website and then download them one by one based on my LO, since reorganizing on console is a pain.
yeah the recent update made reorganisation more tedious, because it can now crash if you scroll too fast 🥲 or hell, sometimes even at a "normal" pace it can still crash.
a "jump to bottom of LO" button would be very useful, if they don't find a way to stop the overloading in the LO screen.

anything with a .dll plugin is loadorder agnostic as it does stuff natively in code and doesnt go the plugin and load order route

Okay so I'm on Xbox, and does anyone happen to know off-hand what mod this sword is from? If nobody knows then it's really not that big of a deal, I was just curious as I stumbled upon it jammed into the side of a barrel (looked like it was on purpose).
Checked the Goblin CC page, nothing. Can't find it anywhere else in any of the docs for mods I use that add or change weapons. Used search engines and search flags to try to narrow it down, and there's no mention of it anywhere. The location I found it at, named Caravan Down, is southeast of Markarth and was populated by goblins, and of course, no mention of this location anywhere either.
Unless a mod I have adds weapons but doesn't say anything at all about it in the description, I use all AE content, Reforging - To The Masses, and OWL.
It might be this one: https://creations.bethesda.net/en/skyrim/details/29227/Missile_s_CC_Goblins_Addon The PC version on Nexus came up in a google search for "Samuel's Revenge" in its changelog stating "Increased damage for "Samuel's Revenge" to 12 up from 9". I don't know if that means the weapon is necessarily from that mod, but it seems possible.

I know it's pretty much a rule to not use more than one leveled loot list mod at a time. But if two were used, would the one farthest down simply overwrite the upper one? The reason I ask is that I'm on PS4, and I really want to have higher prices for everything in shops. The mod "Kevlar's Gambit" does this very well, but it also effects loot lists. So I was wondering if I put a mod like "Simply More Variety" below it, would I get just the higher prices of the one, and just the leveled loot of the other?
Item value is not set on the leveled list record so as long as the variety mod isn't affecting base item records, it should play just fine with the other one.

I noticed that either Nordic UI or I Like Food is messing with Food values for hunger replenishment.
Only reason I include Nordic Ui (updated) is because I noticed the health, magicka, and stamina bars seem to be a little outta wack. But, that could just be due to survival (I know there used to be a patch). Just curious which one you guys would think it might be?
I would just disable or delete one of them and check, but because of the stupid update, my LO crashes the game any time I go near it (although I could probably get to one of the two mods without it crashing, but that's it.)
I've been using this LO, so I dunno if there would be conflicts here

So, on xbox... I just managed to go over the 5gb limitation by pulling some mods from a save, filling the space, then when mentions dependencies, and asking to download, saying yes.
This needs more testing but I have 6gb of mods currently even though it says 4.99 used
Hmm do you have ghost space I remember this was a problem when I used to play on Xbox I have not played on Xbox number of years.
From what I remember when I used it no try reinstalling it's dependencies? Otherwise not sure maybe it doesn't work with the latest SKSE and sky Ui did you do the fix for Sky Ui it should be in the comments of that mod.

Although I did end up having another issue with npcs last night.
Didn't start until I went to do the companions questline.
First was the fight with Vilkas.
Which, is fine, that sometimes glitches out. Not the first time it's happened.
Then immediately afterwards a courier showed up and was just like "I have something to deliver".
Didn't deliver anything and just sat there repeating himself.
Then I went to Auryen at the museum in solitude.
He tries talking to me but then it just exits out of the dialogue menu.
Was able to somewhat fix it by saving, shooting him, then reloading.
Then it got through a few more lines of dialogue and then just closed again.
Had to redo it and he finally gave me the quest to go get artifacts, but I'm really hoping it doesn't cause problems with other npcs in the future.
Wasn't unlimited sprinting.
So imma just have to deal with it
But now I have the stupid bug or whatever that makes my one handed attacks extremely fast and nothing fixes it.
Was thinking it was Vokrii, but I have the patch for it.

But it's supposed to give me only 5% attack speed for every 20 levels of one handed, not make me sonic with it. 😦

If this works and doesn't break anything, that means the xbox modspace is a huge mess.
I would have expected them to set up a 5gb partition. And you can not go over that amount of data. You'd be overwriting data at best.
But if this works, that means they are not using an extra partition, which means their whole "we can't expand the space", is probably a bunch of bollocks
Though even with partitions, you could expand them. Just not reduce the size.
hiii guys, sorry for jumping in but im having a terrible time modding my game since the update and I would really appreciate some help. I have tried downgrading but I cant get that to work either. Basically, I had a stable modlist with parallax, enb, shaders, lods etc but now im too stupid to get it to work again. Do u guys know a stable collection or modlist or something that works that i can use as a base?

NOLVUS is the recent to-go modlist if u have a strong machine
well there is a visible 5GB reserved space that Skyrim uses on Xbox for mod storage, but if one is over that limit then where tf is the rest stored 
ESLs don’t ignore space requirements do they? Just mod count right?
Esl only ignores the esm/esp counter that has a hard limit of 254 or something and is more like 244 with the base game and its dlcs and other stuff.
Esl has a much higher cap in like 4k or somthing
Use the mod just counting by tommas to see how many esp files you got. Make sure its at the very very bottom of your lo and if you got a stupidly bug number of mods and only like idk 10 or 50 are counted then you may have gone over the esp limit by 50 as it is made to overflow after capping out. The mod. The limit is still the same no matter what and having more then the limit will cause issues
Thanks for confirming. I’m not going to touch Skyrim with a 10 foot pole anyways until all this gets sorted out. But it will be interesting to see what kind of load orders I can build with the new limits.
Pretty sorted out right now. Everyone has figured out most of the problems and workarounds.
Large load orders only adjust them offline or download them in order
Use the list of ui mods i posted here #1184505392223490149 if you wanna have a safe to use ui mod that wont break anything. The rest is up to mod authors to fix there own mods with the new system and figure out the bugs but ussep been patched a few times since the update so unless he is working on somthing big that should be all you need right now anyway
The ui and offline thing are for console, specifically xbox users. Pc UIs ive not heard about and they can use a mod organizer to adjust there load orders out of the game anyway
Yea I’m not going to do any of those workarounds. Glad it hasn’t completely stopped modding but that’s just too much for me. And I’m much happier playing BG3 anyways.

Ha. No snow in Skyrim. That’s a new one. But if you use a mod like Skyland AIO the texture resolution is optimized for Xbox and looks better than vanilla.
And removing snow would just replace it with a different texture. That could have the same problems as you are already experiencing. Snow, grass, dirt? Whatever. It just needs to be optimized.

Ah. Yea. Maybe they meant the falling snow? Falling rain has the same effect. And yea both can affect performance. Might be a mod that makes it always sunny I guess.

i mean snowy areas usually are the ones that have the least demands on your system right? unless we mean that odd snowfall every now and then in the other regions. If its indeed snowfall in snowy regions then thats still fishy
Makes Skyrim always sunny and increases the chances of auroras at night. Mod works by setting the probabilities of about 20 different clear weathers to occur throughout the various regions of Skyrim. I know people usually download mods from Nexus and use mod managers to install them. I want to use the in-game menu.
Since the last update every time I try downloading a Creation (aka mod) from the in-game Creations menu I have a really hard time. Downloads keep failing due to connection issues (my connection is completely fine, no issue with other apps), I can keep on trying and that works with small Creations (<5MB), but with stuff like USSEP it's downright impossible.
Are the Bethesda servers complete garbage? Or is it some issue I'm the only one facing? Is there any workaround for this problem (like downloading the Creation elsewhere, put it in some kind of download directory, and let the game recognize it as if I'd downloaded it in-game)?

Agreed Nothing can be expected yet. But there is no way to know when an update will come. A day a month. No one knows yet. So “foggy” seems appropriate. Fog may clear at any time. We shall see.

My god, my office had in office teams meetings. One of the managers wouldn't let you use a background either so they could see if you were at your desk. Meanwhile the conference room has become a place for random storage.

At minimum, that you'd need to compact it again after the update and there's no guarantee the end result would still work in your save.

I'm so glad my employer doesn't do this garbage. You do have to have your camera on for the social aspects (some people came and left during covid and we never even knew what they looked like) but you can have the background you want and generally dress however you want. (My teams picture at work is a photo I took at a metal concert.)
Bethesda adheres to the idea that you can train an artist to be a programmer but you can't train a programmer to be an artist. I disagreed heavily when I started work on my indie game but found out they have a point 😅

No, that being good at game systems design doesn't relieve you of the need to make the game look like something, and the worse you are at asset creation, the more your designs get restricted
I'm putting some time into level design in an attempt to get a showcase out soon, and I keep running into limitations like "there are no megascan cliffs of the size I need and I have no idea how to make them myself" or "I need this specific kind of building... looks at asset marketplace ok, I guess I won't do that then"
It's easier to learn basic enough code to do to something in an existing engine or to watch a tutorial on it, than it is to learn 3d modeling.
Almost Anyone can watch a 2 hour step by step tutorial for procedural generation and have a working system.
But learning how to create a 3d model takes a lot more work imo.
Way back in the olden days of modding the original Doom and Duke Nukem 3D almost all of my work was on the programming side. Any textures or mesh work I did was taking something an actual artist made and adding the technobable needed to make it do the thing I wanted in game. I could make a Doom door open any way I wanted, but I sure as heck couldn't make it look the way I wanted.
so, basically, the most frustrating thing about technical game ‘worldspace’ design, including by way of level design process, is… not being an artist? in that assets, both visually cosmetic and physically tangible, found externally are not specifically designed/curated for the scenario at hand?
art is a pretty broad term. i know more than a thing or two about illustration (it’s what i do) and general art philosophy/principles, but i wouldn’t know much about 3d work in relation to game development

Depends on if they have been updated or not. Some have been. But probably not all.
The decision to compact needs to be made before you release it. Cause if you're going to update it down then line recompacting things with the introduction of more new forms won't be good for anyone's save.
Hmm, wouldn't it be fine so long as the new forms are within the 4096 form limit, though? Further ESL mods in the order after it aren't able to encroach upon the unused form space, I would assume? 
Assuming you remain on 1130, yes, but the CK isn't guaranteed to generate a new form ID within that range.

Also it feels weird to me that the new forms for an ESL don't get put into the correct range by default. Hopefully they'll fix that... 
Is there a mod that disables dragons spawning inside cities?
After the new update I had to clear my reserve space because I had a UI mod that broke the creations menu. Now I can't re-download all the mods I previously had. Was the space available for mods shortened in this update? I deleted some mods to give myself enough space but it continues saying I don't have enough space to download. Any way to fix that (besides clearing the reserve space, I had to do that a couple times after accidentally reinstalling the same UI mod that broke the menu without thinking)

Good, because I was hesitant to update mods because of the way Beth.net would sometimes not mirror the download and then anyone hitting update would get an error and end up with no mod and a ruined load order.

And with no more comments, I could innocently update Ordinator and it could break for console users and I would be none the wiser while a million players have their load order ruined. 😦
I had to ask Cartogriffi a few times to kick the hamster back to life because I'd upload an update and people would see the notification in their client and hit download and it would delete the old version and then fail to download the new version
This was a mild annoyance back in the day, but now without a way to get feedback from console users, I have no way of knowing whether the update went through properly on consoles and breaking load orders is a risk I don't want to take.
Ah. I never ran into that with my own updates, but I think the new site is much more clear that your updates have been received properly.
There will be further mods that tie into these systems, such as the upcoming hunting and exploration mods.
Generally I'm going to move away from Enairim type overhauls and towards content creations. 🙂
I have an issue with one mod that maybe someone can help me with on console.
I've downloaded all to what I believe is the appropriate mods for lux, yet it will not enable?
I've downloaded all the patches and such for Jk's skyrim and interiors but it will not enable?
Ordinator as of today still works fine with my +50 mods on console.
I just need to vent. I was playing Skyrim and all was well. Then, I decided I didn’t like some of the mods in my load order anymore. I deleted the mods I no longer wanted, deleted all save data and went to start a new game. Skyrim began crashing. Now it’s so bad I can’t get past the Bethesda logo. I’ve tried everything I can think of to fix it but can’t. I’m so close to tears right now.
Btw, I’m on PC

I've been trying to fix/update and add new mods for the last 2 days, and it keeps moving the mods around in load order even knowing I've manually moved them multiple times, and or keeps saying (don't have required mods) when we do, it's also constantly crashing (ctd) while trying to fix load order... I really hope they fix this coz it's starting to really annoy me.

Download all the mods you need. Exit Skyrim (quit). Go offline. Start Skyrim, select Creations, click yes on the message box. You will be able to re-order your mods. Be careful, deleting any mod will cancel all you changes. Once done, exit the game fullly, relaunch it and either start anew game or load a save. When prompted, select "Actual" load order. Save as soon as possible if you're satisfied with your mods, reload the save,you should not have any message box pop up. From there, you can restore your online connction or play offline.

In the Xbox's Network settings is a "Go Offline" button. That will take you offline.
I've had this happen to me on console, I had to completely wipe my console locally then re-download and reinstall the game skyrim
New to modding. Why does sse engines part 2 crash my game when I open journal, but journal works just fine when I don’t have part 2 installed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I made sure to download part 2 and then unzip it right into the Skyrim folder as well.

Are you using an old UI mod ? Do you get your LO displayed like before the update ? I have had the same problem and I just had to delete my reserved space. Maybe someone found another way to fix this ? Maybe you can try disconnecting from internnet and see if you can modify your LO offline.

Because everybody does it ? Being offline will allow you to access your reserved space content without getting data from the creations servers. So no thumbnails, no description, no mod deactivation ...

See here above 24 hours ago. Go offline by disconnecting in parameters/network. And Yes, deleting your reserved space will also clear you mods.

Deleting your reserved space should be the last thing to do. Just try going offline and see if you can make changes to your mods.

Yea if you can’t access it online offline sounds like a no go.
Try it. If you can't access your LO, or can't do any change, wether you live with it as you are able to play, or you delete your reserved space and rebuild your LO from scratch. You can also play offline by the way. It looks like a UI issue, some also reported issues with Kontrol. Main menu cnhange mods can also create problems.

Do you have an external drive ? If so, you could make a backup of your reserved space (kind of). Although you seem to have a mod in your LO that conflicts with the latest main menu. Any way to share your LO ?

well I have two mods that modifies the main menu one of them is oblivion fonts second one is a backgrownd changer including the music but coming to thinking about it now I think the oblivion fonts mod is the problem since as you said it battles with the new creation UI
So I don't have any other solution but delete the reserved space. Maybe someon else can help. Be carefull not to delete your saves .

Indie game status update: Studying open world level design. 🙂
I'm in luck in that the flow (roughly Choo Choo Charlie x Vampire Survivors) doesn't involve a linear quest along landmarks and finding locations is part of the challenge (survival), so I don't need to do the Skyrim thing of using scenery to railroad people to theme park attractions. However, with no guidance, it is too easy to walk between all the landmarks, and putting down any sort of road means people will drop everything and follow it and just spend the rest of their playthrough glued to the roads (which also means you can't have a "ring road" that doesn't itself go anywhere). I think instead of Skyrim, the example to follow would be Minecraft. 🤔

when we disable they disapear and reapear on top of load order plus mods randomly moving around or disapearing (saying dont have requirements when we do) we had to download everything we wanted then go offline to reorder to be able to play
I started playing on PS4 the few days before the mega modding creations overhaul. Since then I have never been able to use mods.
In the best of times I can open the creations menu for a few moments before it kicks me out and says it can't connect to the servers.
Are the servers really that buggy, or do I need to do something to circumvent the problem?

When U click onto creations off line it will come up with "can't access online creations do you want to manage loaf order" or something similar you click "yes" and it should take you to you LO then you'll be able to move mods etc. You can't access the other stuff obviously.
well it's not like for me when I click on creations offline after 2 to 3 second a window opens telling me that I was not able to log into Bnet and my only option is to click ok then throws me back to the main menu

From the number of people who had to wipe their load orders, and the amount of complaints we’re seeing on r/SkyrimModsXbox, I’d say it sounds like it isn’t.
Hopefully will all be addressed in the next update, but the implementation of this has been very poor.
Not warning the community that things you were working on older than six months would be lost was particularly disappointing.
Playing vanilla is good. Modding via Bnet: not so much.

Because no one has ported it since most people have used nexus for years and steam deck is still relatively new.
Search the web for "steam deck skyrim mods". From within the game, you can only access to the bethesda servers. You can find alot on YouTube or reddit on how to mod your game.

I know I posted a question a while ago, I don’t mean to ask this again (I’m going to delete the post now), but does anyone found that AFT is kinda broken now? It does work for only ONE follower, but not the 4 other followers you get to have. Will there be a patch for this soon, or an updated version of Amazing Follower Tweaks? Is there a better replacement for it? Still getting multiple followers, essential followers so they don’t not die, etc?
Also leveling them up won’t work. I only got Lydia to level up after my character and Jenessa wouldn’t level up. Tweak Commands only work for one follower which sucks if I need ALL of them to “relax” for a while.
I would also have to use the Tweak Make Follower to have multiple followers follow me because simply talking to them won’t manage their AFT. Only one follower will work, the rest of the four won’t.
Have you run a clean test? Just AFT. No other mods.
It’ll corrupt my game if I disable all of my mods. Not gonna disable the patch mod but still.

Nah. I would run a clean test first to eliminate a problem with the mod if you things that is likely.
I’ll first disable the Odaving mod and see if that’s the one. If not, I’ll disable all the mods except for the patch mod, alternate start, rich merchants, those mods because I need to prevent the crashes from happening (discover all 9 holds, Whiterun can be last) and I’m so sick and tired of the intro.

Well I disabled almost all of my mods. Idk yet but maybe the Odaving mod might be a problem I’m going to investigate.
@terse shard, I disabled that mod and used the spell to get rid of my follower’s AFT’s, ask them to follow me and the dialogue interface was loading and manages their AFT again, however, the Tweak Command still doesn’t work for all followers but one. Only Lydia can follow my Tweak Commands and not Marcurio and Jenessa. Yes I did enable all of my mods, disable the one I have to disable and went back to my game. There might be something else interfering AFT.

Hang on, maybe you’re right. I’m gonna make a new game with my LO the way it is with certain mods disabled and see if it actually works. If not than yeah.
Depends on what you want. As stated, it is immersive, expect your followers to die, have a reduced carry weight. Also better to use it on a new game if already used AFT. I had the AFT dialog options when I switched to iAFT after proper uninstall.
Yeah nah not good. I actually got old AFT to work now. You need to make a new game after disabling the following mods I need to disable. I disabled a Neloth, Karliah, and Odaving follower mod and didn’t make a new game, just loaded an old save. But yes it works now.

A lot of people have downgraded and mods aren't backwards compatible. Fury was made in the latest CK so it only works on the latest version and people are complaining about that. 😦
On Xbox/PC no one has/can do that. I am unsure if it is as common as you make it sound on PC players. 🤷♂️
@pine crown i found i bug but idk if its from the compression of unofficial patch, i just playing with USSEP and unofficial creation club patch, i got inside dragonreach and the alchemy table was invisible, leaving and entering the place fixed it tho, i though you should know, playing on Xbox series S with skyrim installed on internal storage.

I’ve only seen that when using certain SMIM mods in combination. But even then rarely. When using both mods you mentioned. Unless it’s an oops in a recent update I guess.
On Xbox if you have 120hz displays enabled in the settings, Skyrim suddenly gets stutters and glitches. I believe it’s caused by Skyrim actually trying to run at 120fps. I’m trying to spread the word, hoping someone will make a xbox mod that limits the fps to 60fps. This has been a known issue for a while, I don’t think Bethesda is going to fix it.

does anyone know how stable obis no facegen is,im getting a crash i think from obis,extended encounters or populated forts has anyone any problems with them,there was a part i was crashing at vaulthim towers i disabled populated and it didnt crash but it could of been a bandit that obis added i also crash at random encounters when a enemy spawns along the roads
I think all three are fairly stable on their own, but you may be pushing your luck using them all at the same time
i think it is being caused by a npc added by one of the mods,i think it is obis and populated and extended are using a bandit added by obis that is causing the crash,i know if i disable populated forts it wont crash i dont think it is a npc numbers problem

Modders can no longer make changes to the fps in Skyrim. Bethesda locked that out.
most likely the combo of all 3. OBIS has no such issues on it's own, nor any of the others. for it to be any one of those mods on their own, you would be the first to have found such an issue and addressed it. given how popular those mods all are, that seems very unlikely.
you've tested without populated, and no crash? then it's either populated or the combo 🤷🏻♀️ almost definitely the combo.

populated is involved with the crash i was approcing the towers and saved before i got there it crashed 3/4 times so i decided to disable populated i was able to get past the towers without a crash also when i was in the rift i had somthing similar happen with a random encounter disabling populated stopped the crash,on obis no facegen page the modder does say there using it to test for ctd so im thinking it could be that mod i looked at it in the ck it has alot of creatures in the lists some from mihail monsters maybe there crashing it because the no facegen version has no meshes

installing skse is kinda very simple ever since it has arrived on nexus. You just download it with mod manager and enable it
when you get into the main menu open console and type "getskseversion"
if you get a reply skse is working. Oh and after installing skse you always have to launch the game through skse. You cannot launch the game like you used to anymore
also in the list you sent me there arent rven any phyisicd related mods.

Also I don’t know what the constellation symbol next to your name means, but if it means you can get in contact with anyone at Bethesda, could you alert them to the 120hz issue? It’s been a bug for a while, if you google it you can see any players have run into it.

There is a help page on Bethesda.net where you can fill out a bug report. They are still taking them for Skyrim SE and are still implementing fixes.

kinda hard to tell you what you are doing wrong if you arent saying where you are failing lol
regarding the riften bad performance thing, engine fixes to a large degree fixed this already. The remainder of it really is up to the user and not making their drawcalls skyrocket
so bethesda fixing it now hardly is worth it to me on pc. If you play skyrim se unmodded rn chances are you'd just be powering through the issue considering how easy vanilla is to run. And if you are playing modded on pc chances are you are using engine fixes anyways

Bethnet doesnt exist to you anymore. Nexusmods (and ig random internet pages) are where you reside now. You also dont want to open bethnet mods tab in the game.
Regarding anything else, gamerpoets peobably is a good place to get started with modding

You'll probably want to spend some time looking up tutorials on YouTube, for modding practices in general and then information specific to whichever mod manager(s) you end up using as there are some finer points to learn that you will likely find useful. Also, take the previous comments from 12nebur27 with a grain of salt; there is nothing wrong with getting PC mods from bethnet. At most there are some bugs being encountered with the in-game mod menu IIRC, but they (Bethesda) are working on a fix for that and if you're on PC and using a mod manager you generally don't need to use the in-game mod menu anyways.
last i checked opening bethnet from main menu disables any mod that does not have skyrim.esm as master. That has been around since the beginnkng.

I wouldn't know; I exclusively use MO2 to run the game and manage my installs. If there is such a bug and BGS is not aware of it then it's something that should be reported to them so that they can get it fixed. Since they're already working on fixing other bugs it's an ideal time for it.

It's fairly easy to keep the in-game mod manager from disabling any mod that doesn't use the main game file as a master. Which I'll be so bold as to say doesn't make sense. On MO2 I just use a different profile to load the game without my mods downloaded from elsewhere loaded.
Nab what I want from Beth.Net, then swap the profile back over and enable those plugins. Easy peasy.
Learning how to use a mod manager is an important step. Unless you intend to manually manage everything via xEdit and WyreBash.
Even vanilla Skyrim used to crash on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Series S/X has basically eliminated crashing problems but now that it is forced 60FPS we continue to see FPS lag in certain areas.

PC SE wasnt buggy. If we want to be pedantic maybe the first month it was. I dont remember exactly but basically since 2017 the latest PC SE was basically about as bug free as it is rn aka in a pretty good shape.

oh yeah buggy as all hell. AI breaking, cells not loading properly, quest stages and scenes not progressing, god damn everything seemed to break at least once in a playthrough. but yeah, as far as i can remember it never crashed on me. is possible i just got lucky, or you just got unlucky 🤷🏻♀️
have you played vanilla SSE? because i did like 3 vanilla se playthroughs and i didnt manage to trigger a single serious bug. Not that that means there are none but its pretty hard to trigger a serious vanilla bug.
if you count sonething like npc getting stuck somewhere and you having to reload, ok then it has bugs but even breaking quest progression is not that easy and for the few quests where that is possible a reload fixes that just fine

Have you ever heard of USSEP? There are literally hundreds of bugs still in the base game. (And don’t get me started on the AE content) And yea there is one “serious” bug. Part of the main quest. Potential quest breaker unless you are willing to keep trying to find a way around it. And less serious (since it’s not the main quest but still a big deal IMO) but just as common is the one where Karliah leaves nightingale hall and does not allow the quest to advance.
And lots of little things. The main things I noticed were mesh problems. (Big huge gaping “holes” in mountains for example. And what seemed like navmesh problems where NPCs would end up standing in weird places and sometimes get stuck.
A ton of the ussep bug fixes address these minor issues like mesh fixes. Which main quest bug are you referring to? Regarding Karliah, i know of the bug and yet have never once managed to trigger it. Id be interested to know where there are big gaping holes in vanilla though.
The existence of ussep doesnt mean that the base game is super buggy. If other games were this moddable theyd all have mods like ussep.

Right. USSEP is essential. Vanilla has bugs.
The main quest bug is the one at the throat of the world where you get stuck during the time jump thing. Like most bugs apparently it doesn’t always happen. But for me it’s about a 90% occurrence.
Re: the Karliah bug, I've not only had her repeatedly try to leave, but Brynjolf as well. Arrived at Nightingale Hall to find him already on his way back to the Cistern, and then when I entered the Hall, both of them kept trying to walk past me while talking until I Force blasted them to their cutscene triggers.
It happened again at Irkngthanz, so I wound up going through nearly all of the ruin alone until they were both suddenly there for the end. And it's something that's pretty much impossible to replicate for the USSEP to even try to fix, but it does happen; when it does, even reloading much earlier saves doesn't seem to help.

USSEP does fix the karliah bug. But it is easy to have a mod that resets the area to vanilla so USSEP doesn’t end up working.

There's nothing in the log to suggest that they've fixed it, other than "Expanded the size of this trigger box as a possible solution to Karliah leaving Nightingale Hall after pulling the chain to enter the chamber." Arthmoor referred to it as "some still as yet unknown set of circumstances that leads to her leaving before running the scene" just last year. It's a problem that exists, but getting it to happen is like waiting for the planets to align.
That's also the only thing that could be affecting it given the conditions under which that scene fails. It was conceivable that you could get dropped into the cell outside the range of that box considering you're entering with 2 NPCs in tow.
I tested it and it now works. It did not used to prior to that addition to USSEP.

Coincidentally, I encountered that in an unusual way when I decided to try starting a no-mods playthrough a day or so ago only for Hadvar to get attacked by wolves at the start of the cart ride which prevented him from entering Helgen. The subsequent scenes still continued as though nothing were wrong, just with Hadvar missing and his dialogue gone. The imperial captain proceeded to appear like she had gone mad, having an intermittent conversation with someone that nobody else could see or hear. 
Thus, most. Because that's how I, uh, accidentally shot one of the random encounter revelers in the chest once.
The first time I ever encountered one of those random thieves out on the road, a dragon was attacking the Western Watchtower (post-Dragon Rising). I selected "I don't have time for this" because, y'know. I didn't, what with the dragon and all.
Thief tried to attack me and got roasted by the dragon.
My character almost followed suit because my real life self was too busy laughing.
I had the very same thing happen to me once. Except in my case I was using a mod that added extra creatures to the game. Hadvar got off his horse to fight a pack of wolves and didn't make it back to Helgen in time for my execution.
He wasn't there to not spare you. 😔

Even on AE launch, most mods were already ready to go. Just some SKSE mods needed to be updated.
And many of those were done within a month or so.
Just updated Skyrim to the current version (SKSE and mods also updated). When loading the game via Vortex/SKSE, I get the 'Available Now: Skyrim Anniversary Upgrade!' message on the main menu (although of course I already own the AE), and clicking on Creations asks me to log in. Is this something I need to setup again? No probs when starting the game via Steam and no probs with Vortex/SKSE prior to this update.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition and Skyrim Anniversary Upgrade are different things. Skyrim Anniversary Edition is essemtially Special Edition, renamed and bundled with four free Creation Club items. Anniversary Upgrade adds all 74 existing Creation Club items.
Is it possible that you have Skyrim Anniversay Edition but not the Anniversary Upgrade?

I bought the Anniversary Upgrade for SSE rather than the AE standalone (though both display as owned in Steam). When I launch the game via Steam, the main menu appears as it should (golden coloured Skyrim logo, no 'AE Upgrade' text, and I can access Creations just fine (this was also the case prior to updating to the latest build and was fine with Vortex/SKSE too); it's only when I launch via Vortex/SKSE now that I get this issue.
Anyone having trouble updating mods?

Basically, it feels like when launching via SKSE the game doesn't connect to my Steam account.
Supposedly the steam integration got borked in that regard and you can resolve it by creating a text file in the main skyrim install directory called "steam_appid" and putting "489830" inside it (without the quotation marks) and then saving it.
Bear in mind that's secondhand information and so I don't know if it's true; it's just something I kept seeing mentioned while looking into setting up a playthrough over the last couple days.

DMH busty skeevers for global interiors lighting + a different set of values for dungeons and caves. For more flexiibility, Ana's spells for XB1 would give you a spell named ANA's light that you can favorite and assign to your Dpad to use as an on/off switch, presuming you' re on console. For exterior lighting, it mainly depends on your weather mod. You could check Dynamic display settings (also for interiors) but it is meant to be based on the Player character localization and time of day. I am not aware of any mod that would handle everything you need in a fully automated way.

Anyone else having problems in 16:10 resolutions after the 1.6.1130 update? like Steam Deck (1280x800)?
Initially I was thinking it might be the SkyUI's/interface mods fault, but problems with the interface being squashed are happening even in a 100% vanilla game. It affects all menus, inventory and compass/map (icons) are the most noticeable.
In 1.6.640 and previous versions the interface scaled correctly in 16:10.
This is what the map looks like, I added the version number to avoid confusion.
On 1.6.1130 the icons are longer/being stretched.
I dont know why but the vanilla UI was designed in 16:9 @ 1280x720. As you probably know, the UI is made from vector graphics which are infinitely scalable without quality loss. It looks like the UI is stretching to fit the extra bit of vertical space on your 16:10 (+80px). Im not sure what a solution would look like because not stretching it would result in an 80px gap top/bottom.
I think some menus will anchor their elements to the screen edges correctly regardless of aspect ratio. Does your HUD look correct?
For other menus, aspect ratios other than 16:9 were not even considered.

Flora Respawn Fix - This is a clever workaround for the bug introduced in Patch 1.3 where most flora objects in the game won't respawn no matter how long you wait for them. Requires unsupported TREE record edits and so is not suitable for inclusion in the USSEP.

The voice lines would fall under copyright and ToS. You can make a "spartan" and design it to look very similar to an existing character. But using something protected like the character's name or iconic look or armor would be prohibited.
Mind you this mainly applies when publishing to Beth.Net. Nexus doesn't have such rules. Doesn't mean you can't get a DMCA though.
I think that particular flora respawn fix is considered obsolete now and solutions favoring the use of SKSE have taken hold instead.
In which case porting them to XBox would be impossible.
No idea if the original TREE record fix would work on console or not.

After update 1.6.1170, Creations menu no longer show a download progress bar. Is that right? Why did they remove this feature?
HUD still broken/stretched at 16:10 screens caused by update 1.6.1130 (no surprise to be honest).
I haven’t got a clue where to post this, but my entire creations page on XBOX just up and died. It reverted to the old style prior to the new update, several of my mods are disabled and I’m unable to do anything with them. Can’t delete, enable or disable.

1 - The creations menu still randomly crashes (much less often though) from time to time after the update. 2 - That double space bug remains.

For clarity, are you saying all mods require double space or only mods that have multiple mod pages. IE Arthmoor's mods like USSEP, CRF, and LAL. Though I believe he has removed the duplicate pages for CRF and LAL.
In my testing only mods that have multiple pages are doing this as it seems the manager is trying to download both. Only one actually gets downloaded as the other is overwritten.
Bethesda can't help us if we wont help them.

I've downloaded multiple mods that did not require double the space. There is clearly more to it. As I said I've only seen it for mods that have multiple pages. Check to see if the mods you are attempting to download have more than one page up. Even if it's by other posters.
The manager may be trying to download any mod with the same file name. Which is crazy, but more solveable than, "any mod does it".
🤔 that'd be strange because the mod kyn mentioned flagrant graphical overhaul doesn't have another port with same esp name. don't think skyland aio and fantasia landscapes have the same esp names either but i haven't tried those.
are you sure you're not confusing it for normal ghost space which sometimes can happen like that? downloading mods with same esp name?
the workaround for this new issue is basically downloading mods from largest to smallest because if you download normally, you might come across the issue depending on the mod
Not sure if this is the right place to report this or not, but wanted to mention it instead of assuming others had already. After the update, I opened Skyrim, entered Creations, and checked my load order. Everything was appropriate and I did not change a thing. But when I backed out of Creations, I got the notice the game needed to restart because my load order had changed. I restarted, went back to creations, and my LO had almost 100 mods disabled and rearranged. Huge time suck and disappointing that’s still an issue after this update
Just to be clear, the double space issue ONLY applies when trying to download/install a mod. After it's been downloaded it will take up the correct amount of space. You will only see this problem when you don't have double the available space left of the 5GB limit. This problem happens with all mods.
I agree with you. But in any case this is an IT nonsense. I don't know how mods are managed on Bethesda side, but it should be through a DB. Why link a request to a filename when each mod has a unique id ? Double check should be set on mod_id/filename when sending the request. Btw, I have mods listed twice in my LO, different versions, different thumbnails, once the space.

This is what I've been wondering. The new interface will see that your save is missing a mod, it only knows the filename, then try to download that mod for you. Is this making it download all mods with the same filename? Cause that would explain this issue. I don't think it even tracks the IDs.

from what ive seen, it depends on the mod(s) size. easiest way to test out is thru downloading mods til you get around 2-3GB then attempt to download skyland aio which is around 1GB.
I tried with Skyland AiO cause I've seen it reported. Didn't get it saying it needed double the space. Let me push it to the last mod installed and see what happens.

You need less than 2GB available space for this to show. Skyland was tested multiple times with 1.5GB available space left and still had this issue. About 10 people have confirmed this.
The question then becomes why the manager doesn't show Skyland needs 2 gigs when you have more than that available, but does when you have less.
Could the 2x have been implemented to allow updates ?

They did make the manager smarter, it now shows you that it's holding ~40MB of space for itself. Whereas before it didn't. But then we also got a host of new problems.
Skyland doesn't NEED 2GB. It's 1023.04MB (just under a 1GB). That is the correct size and has been since April 8, 2023. The double space problem only showed up after the December update.

Ok, for clarification. When you go to download Skyland AiO, does it say it only needs 1 gig, but then says you don't have enough space? Or does it say it needs 2 gig, which is why you don't have enough space. I'm not in game yet to retest myself. Trying to get something taken care of before the direct today.
The mod shows the correct space on the download page (1023.04MB) but when you go to install with less than 2GB of available space left, it says you can't download due to not enough space. I sent a picture of the message to Carto yesterday btw
As for Skyland AIO, are you sure that Skyland Architecture AIO doesn't share the same filename. It's around 800 mb. Just to eliminate the multiple select issue.

I am 100% positive. Plus, the multiple mod with the same esp name download issue only happens when you switch to another version on the same LO...
Example,
In your LO you have ModName.esp installed but you see there is another version so you remove the one you already have installed and then download the new one. BOTH versions will now show in your LO as installed but the one you previously removed isn't actually installed. When you delete 1 of them they both get deleted. But once you re-download the one you want again, only the correct one will show in your LO.

Also, if thers a way for the site to acknowledge when you've updated a description and hit publish again as actually being updated like it used to do. That would be atleast a temp fix for the problem most are having with not being able to access their older uploads. Currently locked into the 100(ish) most recent uploads and the previous ini fix no longer works. Before the December update, whenever you updated a description the site would acknowledge it as being updated and inturn pushing that mod to the top of your list in CK.
Indeed. If the x 2 value is a constant, then it is set somewhere at best as a parameter, at worst hardcoded.
Should be a parameter as it wasn't there prior to the update last year.

That would also cause the mod to show up as updated in the in-game manager as well. I think Bethesda wanted to stop that as a way to "bump" your mod into the "Recent" list. Which of course broke something else in the process.

Ya I agree that was absolutely a problem so I understand the need to get rid of it. Hopefully the ini fix gets fixed (lol) or the new ini setting we need gets figured out asap!

Oooohhh... Ya that's definitely a problem as many mods need ini edits to work correctly. Like performance inis for grass and such. Atleast some can be edited ingame via script but some are hard coded unfortunately.
They didn't take down any mods with ini edits, or mods that were only ini edits. But they also didn't take down any of the mods that attemped to change the FPS via ini, which no longer work, either.
Guess at this point in regards to ini mods is that they reinstate allowing ini uploads. If you have anymore questions about the bugs we discussed, feel free to ping/message me.

That depends. Do you own the game digitally or physically? Digitally your Xbox will require a check to make sure you still own it at some point. Physically you could go offline every time you slot the disc and it would keep working offline.

Yay okay! There is another game, a digital one, that needed an update and I used it as a test and I think I was able to launch the game without issues. I just did it like maybe yesterday, and I don’t recall issues from digital. I do prefer physical copies, but I had a game that’s not physical.
I can test it again to be sure.
I think that method just won't work with gamepass games
With the way Game Pass works the console make regular checks to see if you still have rights to a game. When it needs to do that for a game you've been playing offline it will throw an error asking you to go online. At that point you are locked out of the game till you launch it while online.
You'll also want to make sure you have auto-updates turned off so it doesn't grab the Skyrim update without telling you.
I already turn off auto updates for game and apps. Also I bought the digital game from the Microsoft store, I don’t use Game Pass.
Still, it will do the same check for owned games. Wish it didn't, but apparently that info isn't stored in your account. If it's your Home Xbox it will be longer before it does the check than if it isn't.
Do I have to turn off both games and apps and console updates? The console update is on for the console itself, the games and apps is off. I’m sick of having to manually update the console.

I had my console offline and disabled auto updates, launched a digital game, and played it for a bit and nothing happened. Like nothing went wrong. So my Skyrim is doing pretty great! Can’t access the creation menu, but my mods are working.
If it's your home Xbox it won't do the check for a month I think. If it isn't your home the check is either weekly or daily. I've seen nothing to verify the timeframe on this, sorry.

If you don't have multiple Xboxes or don't let friends use your Xbox games on their systems it's something you won't have to worry with.
It's a setting on the console that allows you to play games you own or have via GP without being online.
I have two Xbox: one for me and one for someone else. I own a copy of Skyrim. It’s hard to explain, but let’s just say that games like the digital one (a different game I rather not say because it may be off topic) that I tested used to be someone else’s game, but the guy moved to a new console and allowed his owned game, the digital one, to be mine. So I can play it without a requirement to sign in someone’s account. Anyway though, again I own Skyrim. The Xbox I’m using is mine. There is two accounts in there, but again he moved to another Xbox. Yeah if you are using a female body Kaidan 2.1.1 needs to be loaded above that. Extended Edition will go in immersion and Immersive Features needs to be near the bottom of the LO

No it doesn't the only mods necessary to run Kaidan fully are Kaidan 2.1.1 (laura_moon port make sure it's the newest version) Kaidan Extended (Spectromance port) and Kaidan Immersive Features (Spectromance port)

If you are using any mod that is nemesis based such as GDB combat animations only one will work. Kaidan's Immersive mod animations will tpose if you have another mod that is overriding it.

I give that dungeon 1 last try in few days on a new game and it that happens again than i just deinstall that mod and go back to travel between cities and ruins for few times and just sell my stuff by myself... Well, sometimes an enemy has a habit of falling through the geometry, so they might be there but not where you can see them. Have you tried looking all around with a Detect Life or Detect Dead spell to see if there's something you missed? Alternatively, the mod might also be looking at a list of targets rather than what's actually nearby (or may be checking for the site to have the "Cleared" status as seen on the world map), so if something was supposed to be there but for some reason went somewhere else etc it could cause it to fail to work right. As much as i'd like to pop it open in the CK or xEdit and have a look at what logic the mod is using to make that determination, I don't have the kind of disposable funds to justify buying it just for that. You should probably try reporting it to the author; maybe it's an unknown issue, or if it is known they may have some suggestions you can try to attempt to resolve it.

I got them on my first time entering. After 3 more trys i found a spidersitting at the start of the long firetrappassage. But since than i never found any more npcs as i did visit it again and again if i wouldcome near ustengrav again
Hmm. How about the secret passage? When you first go in, past the mages in the main room, head down the steps into the battle between mages and draugr. After that's done, go through to the hall, make a right, and there should be a hidden passage on the right, before you enter the next draurg room.
Unfortunately, I use a lot of population/enemy mods, so I can't remember if there are vanilla enemies in there or not.
No enemy in that hidden passage in my game. Its only a chest in the end... Seems i have to make my nord warrior blacksmith turn in to a mageuser to use livedetect or find all thuum and maybe there is ashout for detecting too

You also don't have to permanently make them into a spellcaster if you don't want to; simply saving before you start searching and/or using mods to search more effectively (such as using a mod like Debug Menu to enable god mode so you have infinite magicka and then can use a detect spell or the shout more conveniently) and then reverting to the save once you figure out where the enemies are is a viable strategy.

Honestly we don't know if that setting still does anything in the new UI. I doesn't break it but the list also shows more items than the mod is set to show you.
Plus right now it's impossible to update as I believe it's an ini edit and the CK won't let you upload ini files for some reason.

yep. already informed carto a few days ago about it, the whole section is inaccessible in-game. grandfathered bookmarked mods seem to work, but newly bookmarked or newly uploaded are no bueno.
Bookmark it on the website and then look under the category (LT) and then sort by Date descending. It came up for me after it very weirdly let me bookmark my own creation. But it is my own so that might be the rub.
If it matters, I care more about testing the quest mod rather than ini. Ini I spent 5 minutes on. The quest mod took me a month. It has priority

Hey guys, hopefully someone can help. I recently went back to xbox skyrim to play vanilla but i got a problem (surprisingly). So basically im trying to get all achievements (im at 32) & ive got a 2 quests that seem to be bugged.
I had a similar issue with starfield so I downloaded a .dll mod that allowed me to use console commands without disabling achievements because a certain NPC or TWO was hostile so i needed to setstage to get past that bit on the quest. I have used the quest debugger mod on xbox to skip what im stuck on but since i enabled mods to test, i have achievements block. im currently downloading skyrim from the windows store hoping i can find a similar .dll to enable console commands without losing achievements so i can setstage. Does anyone know of one for skyrim?

I can't recall if you can even mod the windows store version of it tbh. If you can, I suppose you could try seeing if the achievement enabler mod that works currently for Steam works for it. Specifically, it has to be the dll loader version of the achievement enabler mod, not the SKSE version as the latter is not currently functional.
You can use mods from bethesda.net in the MS Store version. Nothing that requires SKSE though.
Yeah the one ive been seeing on nexus mentions SKSE but ill check the DLL one. Another post mentioned on reddit says that its not a permanent fix but recommends for example:
Achievement at level 50, when at level 49, save the game move over to PC. Enable to mod get to level 50, save and go back to console and then repeat once youre about to get an achievement which would be a pain in the ass ngl haha.

Been trying to find out where i downloaded the StarfieldAB.dll from and hoping the guy made something for skyrim. I know he mentioned that when you save a game / use console commands, theres a few bytes that get changed and he basically forced them to stay a 00 instead of 01 for example.

If you're unable to use the dll loader with it then you're out of luck.
In order to get the achievement you may have to simply do something like create a new save purposefully for just getting the achievement and just blitz past everything else in the game and gun straight for the achievement. If you're lucky, you may avoid whatever bugs are blocking you from getting it. Then you can just move on with your regular playthrough.
Yeah im just gunna give it ago. Best way to test it really is when i load in on my xbox check if it has [M] next to the save file.
I swapped from modding skyrim on xbox to PC because of the 5GB limit, got around 883 mods or so but im mainly an xbox player and legit only really use my PC for modded skyrim but im tryna 100% my games achievements on xbox and skyrim is next on my list lol

No Skyrim is not a Play Anywhere title. You can't bring your Xbox saves over. SKSE will work with the Windows Store version so long as you aren't playing from Game Pass. You just have to follow the manual install instructions and find the game under a folder called "XboxGames".
Perhaps it is a Windows UAC file permissions thing? That might happen for apps attempting to write files under C:\Program Files. These failures are from WRITE, so maybe it doesnt want to overwrite existing files if not a UAC thing. Try deleting existing files before downloading the depo too.

So I have Simple Workaround Framework installed and I wanted to get other mods that require it to use such as Realistic Equipment and Just Shield on Back (i think is the name).
I own Skyrim AE on Xbox Series X but Realistic Equipment that require Simple Workaround for AE verison will not work. Says I dont have the mod required installed. For Shields I cant install any. What do I do to fix this? Its like if doesnt register Simple Workaround is installed.
Did you install all your AE content ? Now you need to activate them from the creations menu. It takes 16 mb of your reserved space.

It should allow you to install all SWF mods related to AE . Or you can install an SE version. If it works, you know you're missing the AE Creation Club stuff. 🤞

Loading screen mods weren't effected by the update. Only UI mods and Main Menu replacers.

It says there's an update but it won't install the update says there's bad data or something
Uninstall the old version, then restart the game, install the new version. This is a bug with the current UI.

Anyone know if the Faster HDT-SMP is outdated? My game crashes as soon my slider hit the HDT-SMP hair mods.

You also have the regular KS Hairdos overwriting the HDT version. If you want both put the regular one above.
Still will need to run FINIS for Users or it won't work.
Question for those that use AFT(Amazing Follower Tweaks), can you take a follower like, say Lydia, into the Soul Cairn? Or would they have to wait in Valerica's lab?

Just a small question. Is there an mod outwhere that fixes that damn annoying architect fail in dragonreach? Lets describe the failure
you enter the dungeon of whiterun from the sideentry. Lets the floor high be zero. You leave the the dungeon on the other door to enter dragonreach. Now in the mainhall you have to climb 16 or 17 steps. Go to the main entrance and you have step down another 16 or 17 steps. So at the maindoor the floorhigh is zero. = Mainentrance and dungeonfloor are on same level for me.
After leaving the maingate turning left and going outside back to the side entrance of the dungeon again, why i have go uphill??? Its like i have to get another 16 or 17 steps to climb to reach the same floorlevel that i already have after leaving dragonreach. Im on xbox, so no way to fix that annoyance by myself.

Yeah. If you enter dragonreach through the mainentrance, , you go 17 steps up and than another 17 steps down to reach the door to the prison. prison entrance inside dragonreach is at the same high as the floor direct in front if the mainentrance. Inside the prison their are no steps. You leave the prison through the sidedoor and than you walk downhill to get on the same same level of the mainentrance again. Its annoying me since i discovered that nonsence. And you have to visit that damn place so many times if you play for a few months. thats why i had to ask, if there is a mod for xbox available, that fix that

Just A Simple Alt Start Mod Update.
One of the smallest & Scriptless Alt Start mods.
Start just outside the Helgen Exit Cave, No Armour, items or weapons on your character, see and customise your character properly, very useful if you use body and beauty mods.
A Loot Chest is also provided if you want some armour, weapons, gold, 2 basic spells and potions etc.
Helgen is not destroyed and this was intentional as I plan to turn Helgen into a busy town with shops and a player home.

Does any one know what is going on with this?…… Since Bethesda reorganised the XBox mod menu into ‘Creations’ I have been unable to access my Load Order from the Creations UI banner..pressing “Y” has no response…neither can I “purchase credits” with the “X” button.
I dare not even update mods without LO access.
Oh and mysteriously, Flawed Varla Stones suddenly stopped showing up.

I swear I saw something that let you use a larger page file with Skyrim. Can't find it now.
Unless your OS or something running in the background is eating up all your memory, you might want to review the mods you have and cut back on anything adding NPCs or mods running cloak spells. This is the kind of stuff that is harder on CPU/memory.
It’s on Steam deck in gaming mode, so background applications should be turned off
Im Running 182 mods that’s why its using 13 gb ram 99% of the time but if a spike happens it crashes (crash log)

Afraid I wouldn't be able to spot the culprits. Much more familiar with Xbox mods. Only recently been dabbling with PC mods and some of the info carries over. Another thing I would suggest for Steam Deck though is making sure any texture mods you have are 1K. Will save you on some memory. If those options are available.
Ok I also have a stuttering problem I got some script optimiziation mods but idk if it makes it worse because it maybe changes scripts other mods use what cause problems
Vortex, it runs perfect no crashes or conflicts ( working for 3 years on it since it’s based on my pc modlist) I’m just fine tuning it.

Depends on how the fixes are applied. If you want to check them against each other in xEdit you could. So long as you have a regular PC to do so.

That may be a computer based issue rather than the mod or game
I am not really good with errors, so I'm just assuming it's a computer based issue based on the error
Nexus has a DM feature, so you can try contacting the mod author from there, unless you are downloading from Bethesda.net

The mod is possible, as I accounted for everything that needs to be done
I'd recommend looking for a place that allows you to comission mods.

It sounds like you want to find a whole team to develop a mod.
That's usually best done via a comission. Cause finding a group of people to work on something for free is gonna be quite a challenge.

How do you expect this mod to be possible on ps4? From what I remember, you can not add any new things. No new scripts. No new textures.
This mod relies entirely on vanilla, resource pack and cc assets, and there is a whole lot to work with when you add up all those official resources
But you can't add any new scripts at all.
Curious how you are working around that.
I can't properly explain but given I am able to use what Bethesda already gave us, it's pretty easy to work around it. You should see how much is possible on PS4/5 when you are REALLY pushing what you can do with vanilla, cc and rp only
