You can go to "Library" at https://creations.bethesda.net/en/skyrim/library and unsubscribe. We recommend favoriting before doing that so that you can easily find them after you fix the issue.

No patch for any of this till next year is pretty wild, they made people wait like a week saying it was only maintenance, which I was fine with, then they release the paid mods update which broke a bunch of stuff and has made it borderline impossible for people mod their game without wiping the reserve space 18 times and having their load orders get jumbled up, crashing and whatnot, and they're gonna just leave it this way for about a month, sick š
Not to mention disabling or deleting mods doesn't work for some as well
The ability to even move any of my mods at all broke and I gave up all together till a patch came around, which I figured must be coming soon, guess not lol

anyone here have experience making skill trees for CSF and would be willing to answer noob questions before i get too deep and realize what i want isn't possible?
i guess i'll just leave the question here and hope: is it possible to make 2+ skill trees in 1 skydome through CSF?
i just found out about enbs but the ones that i find all make my fps 60 even with the fps unlocked in the ini so i dont think my pc can handle those, anyone know any good ones that dont do that or do they all do it
for the problem with the dissaperaring creations,there is ew xbox setting you could try and change for creations,it is found in settings/account/privacy and online safety/xbox privacy/game content there are 3 setting options and a custom option (in xbox privacy) i found it in custom.when in game content you will see a tab with community creations (it is the third tab) you need to set the xbox tab too everyone

Would anyone be willing to port (with permission of course) this mod, or at least one just like it, to PS4?
I see that you messaged the author in the comments section and they said they don't know how to port it to PS4; just tell them the following:
- Load it up into the SSE Creation Kit.
- Save it.
- Log in to Bethesda.net via the Creation Kit (it's in the File menu).
- Upload it.
It's a fairly straightforward process and the mod is a single plugin file with a few global variable and settings tweaks so it would work on it as-is as far as I know.
I don't port other people's mods so I won't be helping with that, but as the author themself expressed a desire to do it they'd be the best person for the job.

One of my Bundles has one that does it and i know there is a stand-alone one floating around
Interiors or exteriors? I personally use ELFX but it can br a little dark. There is RLO and ELE are good alternatives. A lot of lighting mods like to make the lighting more realistic

Had anyone noticed freezes with music playing when using the fishing cc content in Riverwood? Had to close in task manager twice

Heres something weird, I turn on a mod and it turns on additional mods that are exactly like it, but it won't let me delete the extras from my load out or turn them off without effecting the one I want to keep
And I'd I exit out to let the loadout save it'll try to turn the extras back on, and I doubt that's safe
Playing with 2 version of guard armor replacer and 2 versions of levelers tower might kill my xbox off faster than fallout 4 was doing it

You can port a mod to console (Bnet) with just your PC. No need to own a console yourself. It sounds like the mod you mention would not be allowed on PS but should be fine on Xbox as long as it meets the Bnet terms of service (nudity and perms being the big show stoppers). Iām not a porter but I think the basic idea is you use the CK to publish the mod to Bnet.

If you mean installing it into MO2, yes, you can do that. Just pack the ones you want to do that with into their own archive then drag and drop it onto the window like any other mod.

Eventually I'd like to have everything consolidated to one page per PC/XB1 mod. The XB1 copies added to the previously PC-only pages are the same copies.
Part of the problem with being stuck having a secondary page is that people report they end up with 2 listings for the exact same content in their load orders.

True but until Bethesda fixes the identical esp duplicate download bug, anyone who has been using the [xb1] versions will have issues when trying to download the dual platform ones. My plea is do not remove those until Bethesda fixes this

this only happened to me when i downloaded USSEP, realised i downloaded the Xbox exclusive one, then deleted and switched to the multi-platform one.
after seeing the old one still in my LO, just deleted it again and had no issues since.
though rn the biggest issue is not being able to download big mods cuz you need 2x the damn size 
So I had it happen with the new Rec USSEP patch but deleting the old one would wipe the new one too
that's strange

A lot of this sounds like caching issues to me. Usually caching issues fade out over time.

Before BGS announced the rules that wouldnāt allow current mods to be used as a paid creation I was waiting for the Arthmoor village bundle to be one of the first releasesā¦.one I would actually pay forā¦.but alas.
But with the mod number limit being lifted on Xbox maybe itās not such a big deal anymoreā¦.
The 5gb is why i dont use retexture mods. I wish they didnt take up space or an esp file

I like them. Mostly the ones that just add things to vanilla villages that should have always been there. They are vanilla plus before vanilla plus was ever a thing. The new villages are ok. Only one I really like is Oakwood.
Most are pretty well done and fit into the game pretty seamlessly. Oakwood and Telengard are some of the better ones.
Helarchen Creek needs some love, itās woefully isolated and pretty dull on the outside but has a lot of potential
So yeah, I now gotta go figure out how bad my LO is going to break as I try to replace all the [XB1] Arthmoor mods with the dual platform versionsā¦

Hello guys. Iām getting back into Skyrim after a while and I was wondering if someone was around to help me figure out the load order for some of my mods? I know where a lot of them go, but there are some that I canāt remember. Like for example, the ācamping extendedā. I donāt know which category this falls under in the load order.

Make sure you use an updated ui mod if you happen to use them. Or the creations menu breaks and shoes the old ui
I use both. I have Lucian and I have his campfire patch for it. That gives him 29 new dialogue.
Some mods like Reconciliation have been updated and make sure you only use the new updated version instead of the old one as it can cause the same problems

Yes every listed ui mod is available on xbox. Since xbox is the platform I use and no one has submitted any pc ui mods that are functional yet.

I usually put Anything that modifies CC up high. Foundations section in LLO just below any master files.

Yeah, I never really messed with you UI mods. About the only one I ever did was the mod that gave the text responses different font and color. Canāt remember the name of it off the top of my head though. However, that was on the PC. Which I no longer have so Iām using Xbox.

My load order. I have a couple extra mods then whats listed but have them disabled so as not to get in the way of my current playthrough
Another thing to note. If you disable a mod mid playthrough you will not be able load the save. It just gets stuck in infinite loading
My structure of where i list mods is far from correct mind you. So please do not follow my LO example. Ive just been using it for so many years now i refuse to fix it
And donāt even get me started on Beyond Skyrim: Bruma. Four parts with over 1 maybe 1.5 gigs.
Yeah but it has so much. Its a whole new detailed world space with many quests, voiced dialog, armors and weapons

I crash every now and then but thats normal for a 248 mod load order with the number of changes i have made to every system
Yeah, but my point is I cannot get anywhere close to that many mods when I use all these space eaters. BTW, why is my slow mode one minute in this room? Itās like 15 seconds in Starfield rooms.
Because all of the skyrim chats were on fire after the update while everyone was trying to figure out what does and doesnt work
And then the mods left it this way. It was at one point a 5min timer in skyrim general
thats stable? i am noticing quite a few mods where id expect patches needed but there are none
But yeah I understand given how many quest mods and new worldspaces you use. I am quite satisfied just changing everything in the base game. I do have the people of skyrim ae v10 so i get some new places to explore and the great cities towns and villiages adds some new towns. But generally i like to play it like im a hunter who stumbles upon dungeons and explores and so on
I have looked for patches for any incompatibilities and have only found the ones I use. Back when we were locked to 150 i used far less patches because i just let whatever was lower overwrite whatever i needed it to.
My game crashes under weird circumstances now. Like getting poisoned and then like frozen but also having the wildcat injury take place during it while im like paralized on the floor and suddenly ctd.
Or i use the chain whips from animated armory in third person because no matter where i order it it still hates me
TPOS isnt compatible wkth any city mods though? like you should not use that together. Also not compatible with Immersive Citizens. Elfx also needs loads of patches.. probably a bunch mlre in there that raises eyebrows.
That is unless the xbox version of tpos doesnt touch cities but i doubt that
There are two versions of tpos available. Tpos v10.2 and tpos ae v10. V10 has the most compatibility and even tpos v10.2 is very easy to run if i just had the space to fit it. Tho it does conflict innsome areas with my the great cities towns and villages bundle
And i use all of the available elfx patches for my city stuff interior changes
As well as Immersive Citizens elfx patch.
What category are mods that change standing stones in the structure Iām using? Would it be under the buildings area?

Itās Andromeda, unique standing stones which add a couple more perks.
Then under gameplay or magic
It replaces the mundane vanilla standing stone effects with two new abilities per stone.
ok if the v10 doesnt chabge cities thats a lot more conpatible than i thought. Id still expect an elfx patch being needed since lux patches are available and both essentially needing similar patches
V10 was left up as a highly compatible version. It doesnt make as many worldspace edits
The only patches tho are mostly for the newer version

Some times a mod is suposed to be near the top but for some reason refuses to work otherwise and the ma is a cocky melon head and doesnt understand it is broken so refuses to fix it so you gotta shove it real down low
if a mod works low down in your LO but not high up that does not mean the mod is broken. It means you are having compat issues. It is not required by the author to patch those personally

Why not just use cheat room and be done with it?
putting something further down in your LO doesnt fix a mod. It ensures that its changes overwrite other mods. Nothing to do with the mods functionality. It is on you to figure out which changes should overwrite which and in case of breaking incompatibilities its not on the author to make a patch but on the user, if he wants to use the mods together

I have a mod for Fallout 4 tha5 just doesnt wanna work 99% of the time but the melon who ported it thinks its working fine just cuz it works in his lo. Even when it works in exactly zero places in my lo and ive gotten it to function once

try it vanilla and see if it works with no mods. If it works with no mods that means the mod is working as intended.
You can if you max your smithing level past 100 and go to like 400 smithing and get all the perks and then just temper somthing
Any good patches for the East Empire Expansion? Cause right now khajiit takes stuff from chest then when I go to follow him he ends up in the very middle of the map no where near me. And I cant get my crap back from his chest, as in the stuff he picked up isn't showing up, just an empty chest
A functional mod shouldn't need me to have a fully vanilla game to make it work. Period. The main mod is scripted poorly or the port is scuffed.

Ive played with mods made by Complete amateurs who function correctly
if it works with an otherwise vanilla game that means its not the mod thst is broken but instead means that your LO isnt compatible with it. Thats a distinct difference. I can think of many many mlds lut there tvat require you to accomodate for them properly in your LO.
If you dont accomodate for them in your LO they wont work or have issues.
Means that either the mod wasnt designed with compatibility in mind or you didnt do a good job accomodating for it.
LUX for example needs a bazillion patches for everything, else stuff may not look great. Does that mean the mod is broken? no.
Clmplete Alchemy and Cooking overhaul also needs a billion patches because it wasnt built with compat in mind. Doesnt mean the mod is broken, just means you have to decide if its worth it. That doesnt make Kryptopyr an amateur modder however.

Thats the thing. Its the same version. The previous version works as in ive had to use it as an alternative since the one i did get working just stopped.
mod doesnt just work once and then never again if you didnt change anything else in your LO. Either it was already buggy or something changed.

So again, test with a vanilla profile and check. Or go get a pc, fire up xedit and see whats being changed.
If you wiped everything and rebuilt your LO from scratch id say quite a bit has changed lmao
If same version of the mld worked fine before you reinstalled everything that makes it highly ublikely the mod is at fault. Much mlre likely thst your LO doesnt work with kt.

Depending on what it is you're needing to test and how you can likely use Debug Menu for mod testing purposes on xbox at least. PS4's only option though is Cheat Room, afaik.

half my plugins or more are patches. Either self made ones or ones provided. LOTS of them are combo patches to get 3 or 4 mods working well together. By this logic most big mods in my LO arent functional because they require lots of patching.
USSEP doesnt function because other mods conflict with it! LOTD doesn't work because other mods conflict with it!

Most likely it's an item attribute change. But as people use may different ways to sort mods it's hard to say where you are putting those.
If it can't run with only 149 other mods installed is it even functional? No one goes and makes a mod called aim fatigue and expects you to use vanilla game mechanics

Every mod i use has always been compatible and this one has worked with my lo. Being at the bottom should have it overwrite what it needs to overwrite

It is not a reasonable expectation for a mod author to create a mod with any number of hundreds or thousands of other mod's potential conflicts in mind. That's not how it works and we'd all go insane chasing that idea. You simply create what works, then find out what conflicts and potentially create patches to resolve conflicts.

yes. it has to be something you've done unless the mod has been updated. how is it the porter's fault, any more than it is yours? if the mod hasn't been updated, nothing should have changed on their end. so how is it their fault it is NOW not working?

Accept, I'd think that most likely something else changed. If you had to wipe your LO one or more of your other mods may have updated making this one incompatible with the LO now. Or even if you loaded one mod in the wrong place from where you had it before it changed how the game expected the mod to function. It's hard to say without a log and we can't generate those from Xbox.

I started a new playthrough. Mod didnt workm i wiped my lo. Redownloaded everything in order. Didnt work. I uninstalled and reinstaleld it. Nothingm deleted the game. Nothing why you looking at me like im freaking crazy here like i havent done everything except run it with a raw vanilla game like im the idiot here. Im not the only one claiming it breaks half the freaking time

just test it in isolation and if it still doesnt work then you know for sure. Then after seeing if thr issue also exists in the original mod you can go to the porter with your idolation tested evidence

i can't necessarily speak for fallout, but the skyrim side definitely knows the importance of it. would be weird if that knowledge didn't transfer over to the other game.

Man i have had compat issues where id ctd by opening and then closing the map in two specific areas of the gameworld. And it was a combination of mods. All kinds lf weird factors can play together.

either A, the mod was updated and you don't remember updating it
or B, you're being intentionally misleading in your representation of the issue.
mods don't just "break" entirely. not on console anyway. a mod can break mid-playthrough, but it wouldn't subsequently break upon New Game on other playthroughs. not unless your LO had changed, or one (or several) mods got updated.
why dont you just test in isolation and se can stop the argument. I am not accepting that its definitely a bad port considering other variables DID change.

People were trying to help with issues. Only the person who asks for help knows the exact setup they are working with.
General recommendation and problems are just that. General. They are mentioned cause that is what might cause issues.
If it is not what causes issues in a specific case, you move on to the next general troubleshooting step.
And after no general steps have helped, the person with the issues is usually best to explain in detail what steps they tried to so far, and what the exact issue is. Then people can help you with more fingrained troubleshooting steps.

Presently having an issue there wkth horse steps and them sounding inconsistent in first person on horse. Since its fine in third person but not in first person (thanks to improved camera) I am assuming it has to do sith the position of the camera relative to the sound source. If i look up camera is facing away from noise and thus gets too quiet.

i had a similar issue ages ago, which was due to me having headphones plugged in when i initially turned on the game.
so i play on xbox, and i used to like playing with a headset. i took out the headset at one point and noticed my audio was all wrong. facing towards the source made it quieter, etc.
thought my speakers were broken, audio sliders, blah blah. tried everything until i gave up and put the headphones back on. when they eventually needed to go on charge, unplugged and the speaker audio was back to normal 
And again.
yeeeeep it's a common problem atm. mine has crashed a lot even just when downloading mods. whole Creations menu seems to be experiencing issues since the update. Arthmoor suggested it to be a caching issue, but š¤·š»āāļø
ah yeah no i play on speakers so i dont get issues like that lol. I know its related to camera angle but i havent checked where exactly the problem is.. because multiple mods influencin audio and also how audio sorks. I will figure it out.. when i have time
i think the biggest upside pc has is being able to edit your files and immediately hop in to test.
on console i have to test it, go into my laptop's files and correct any issues, then go through CK to upload the updated version (which thanks to the recent update, CK is now horrendously slow
) and then re-load skyrim and download the updated version
of course i'm still in a better boat than most xbox players, cuz i use self-ported stuff.. but still if i could play skyrim on pc i absolutely would just for the convenience of testing

I see what that one guy meant about some UI mods breaking the game.
I added in the no main menu, fire, hero whatever that changes, the graphic and music of the main menu screen and now when I select creations Iām loaded into the original mods menu and I canāt disable or delete it.
So looks like I have no choice, but to uninstall and reinstall the game and start from scratch again.
Oh right. I forgot I could just clear the reserved space to get rid of the mods that way. Well, at least thatāll save me some time.

I have lost count of how many times the damn thing crashed while I was trying to sort my load order after getting some new mods downloaded.

Just UI mods I think. But there are also problems sometimes caused when multiple mods use the same esp name casing ghost space and unknown version usage.
And then you LO can get out of order all on its own sometimes too
I have the error these mods are unusable and should be deleted for almost all my mods. Can one mod cause all of them to do that? I only know of this when trying to do my load order

Not sure about that one. Arthmoor is usually quick to update his mods when needed for game updates. No idea why anything in the update would affect that mod.
I'll test the mods I download. If I find one that is causing the crash I'll post it here in case anyone has the same issue so they don't download the mod. One mod is fully crashing my game.

If installed mid game a lot of time needs to pass before they wear the new outfits. If for a new game make sure you don't have other mods overwriting the guard level lists getting in the way

Will a Formlist of items work for the Perk Entry Point Should Apply Placed Item? The Poisoned Perk from Rare Curios only has conditions for GetIsID. I cannot find a reliable list of perk entry points and their functions on the wiki.

All the mods need to be updated for the new server. Just mainly the mod authors making sure that the mods are still compatible with Bethesda's new system.
And of course all the individual mods would have to be updated first before the combined mod does.
Not to mention how old some mods might be and if thr mod authors still support the much older mods.
Lucky you to have the 150, we only got 100 on Playstation.
They removed the limit at least on xbox so there might be more for you ps45 users

Personally I still use a lot of all in one mods / mod bundles like jks skyrim aio, the great cities towns and villages bundle, jks Interiors aio. Reconciliation, Shalidor's Armaments , Bushcraft.
Because the number of esm files is limited to 255 and im already pushing it very close to that limit with my lo
So those Bundles add hundreds of extra mods attached to a single esm file so i can use them all

City mods dont need to be updated. Its UI mods and mods that require skse to function that are hurt the most by this update

Right. Iām fairly confident to say that for most mods that statement is not accurate. Ui mods. Thatās about it. The game update was minor. The main update was the Bnet mod UI. And some game ui. Mostly the main menu and in game menu.
Because i use both JK's skyrim aio And The great cities towns and villiages bundle. If you use all there patches nothing should crash
JK's skyrim is very difficult to run some times so if your on PS4 or Xbox one or an older pc it might be your problem over the mods not working
With JK's I always have a problem with entering Windhelm.

Yeah last gen consoles have a really tough time running some town mods. Something about the ram on the old consoles just wasnt up to par with what those mods need
Yeah we have it and Realistic Conversations. I don't know why Insectopia is still there. Playstation can't handle it.
Realistic conversations just shortens the long delay between npc responses so it makes sense
I also use Holds Capitals for Dawnstar, Falkreath, Morthal, and Winterhold.
And yes I have the Immersive Citizens patch for Falkreath.
Also the mods are not seperated by generation. If its on Playstation its for both ps4 and 5 andbif its on xbox its for xbox one and series

I just rarely ever had a reason to visit morthal. I've probably been there less than 10 times in all of my playthroughs combined.

You can combine them. You just either have to use a patch or script injection; the latter option being a really bad idea, though.

Aye. Although at least there's still a decent amount that can be done through using both default scripts and creative combinations of other systems. iirc the recent major update introduced more default scripts in that resource pack thing. I've yet to look into what all new scripts became available, though.
Not to mention, you can almost go the whole game without ever going to Dawnstar. You only need to go there to get to the DB sanctuary.

other playstation exclusives also include Erethfel Isle and Chantry of The Knights
and for the record, i think them being ps exclusives kinda suck. theyāre really that good and deserve to be played on all platforms

Iām having trouble uninstalling a mod and having it stay that way. It is called diamond skin. Canāt get it off my list no matter what I try. Donāt want to clear my reserved space but itās looking like thatās what I have to do

what you wanna do is to delete the mods from your LO, and NOT go back in. exit the creations menu then it should be fixed
Right and my theory is that it stays in your load order because it turns into ghost space.
I think it mightāve fixed it lol see what happened was I downloaded a bunch of mods like big ones like beyond Skyrim Bruma and I didnāt have enough space even tho I have enough space lmao and so I deleted that skin mod and tried redownloading it but a different size and it just glitched from there

Ps4 user here. My game 100% crashing when I'm going yo skyrim from stolheim. I figure last night that when I turn off 8 of specific mods it will not crash but that changed today. When i tried disabling the said mods it's crashing again. I'm tired of figuring out what mod is causing my game to crash, i spend 6 hours yesterday just to figure out those 8 mods that's causing it. Any suggestion mod for graphics and load order that's stable. I have less 100 mods now if it helps.
Iād noticed that there are some mods that seem to have a duplicate with the [XB1] appended to the end of it. Furthermore, when I install just the one with the [XB1] the one without it also shows up in the load order. Explain please.

is there any reason why they keep being automatically disabled? How do I fix this?
I recently added a UI changer mod to my game and found out that when I checked my load order after being able to remove it, which was a good thing, considering it completely messed up the main menu so that I couldnāt get back into the creations new menu, but was in the old one instead, but I digress I found that some of my mods had been disabled.
So my guess would be one of the mods you got on disabled those other ones.

How would an ini file on xbox even work?
It used to be before the update if you had an ini file in your data folder during the upload process it would attach the ini to the upload for changes such as grass density, book zoom, map changes, etc. But since the update by BGS no mod ini uploads are working. Not sure what has changed.

Should be easy to see if it still works on PC because you'd see the file in your Data folder.

I'm reminded of the fps settings getting nuked in the AE update, so it seems maybe more could've gotten the axe for some reason. Although ini file uploads getting nuked also seems possible. 
Though that could be accidental, too.
That's why I suggested downloading it. If the file isn't there, testing it in game becomes moot.

I need help with the Aventus Artino adoption mod. Iām encountering a conflict somewhere which is giving him options to armor my horse, and ask him what he has for sale. At the same time the only way I can get the option to adopt him to show up is if I have him become a follower first. And then I canāt remove him as a follower.

a bug with the new downloader is it will try and download all mods that are named similar so maybe you have a few duplicates in your lo

Depending on how far you are into Inigo's follower storyline, you should have his teleportation spell. It will be classed as a conjuration spell.

At the moment, if the mod is xbox only, then no. If it has a PC version you can usually find out what gets edited since they don't normally vary between the two.
You can also try your luck with contacting the author to see if they'll give you that data.

If you're wanting to check the information yourself, probably. I don't think xEdit will let you load it up without the main game data files present. 
At the very least steam's winter sale should be kicking off any day now so you can probably get AE something like half off as usual.

People haven't stopped asking, Bethesda hasn't stopped responding in the more or less same way.
This question was answered. This is a technical problem on the Xbox side that has something to do with the storage partitions on an Xbox.
While this is true, BGS said a couple weeks back that they were successfully able to move LOs out of the saved partition, and the main issue that has always been parroted is that they donāt want to add to the partition because it would cause LOs to be wiped out. That is no longer an issue in theory with the new mechanics introduced in the last update so the partition expansion should be on the table now.

Given the number of people who had to wipe their load orders due to the last update breaking things, the idea that it canāt be done as it would wipe LOs has also become a lot less credible.

what I do is never access the LO in the creations menu. I download the mods I wanna add then back out to dashboard. I then take my xbox offline and the. access the creations menu to disable/delete/ order my mods. Once they are ordered or if I wanna go back into the creations menu I close out, go back online, and then back into the creations menu. I NEVER access the LO menu while online

I didnāt know that was a thing, whenever I asked for space it was more for memory like GBās. In my playthroughs I never got close to mod slot capacity as I kept it pretty tame. Well what Iām asking for is mod space, not mod slots, my bad.
Yea. More common to hit the mod space limit vs slots. But there are a lot of tiny mods out there that are great to use depending on the LO. And patches can add up quick. So it helps with patch heavy LOs for sure. That and Arthmoor villages.

My number of mods is 251 with 210 being esm/esp marked files
But with the bundles i use its prolly about 500-600 total mods

whenever i launch skyrim with vortex mod manager, it doesn't show that i'm playing on steam but whenever i launch through steam, it says that skse64 isn't running even though i have the latest version of it and it works when launching with vortex, is there any way to fix this?

USSEP does not touch any of the CC. I'm not sure they ever even rolled in the 4 that were added with the AE update.

Reconciliation AE does, I would link the mod but it has been removed from Nexus and replaced with something else so that information might be outdated
I think its safe to say that I haven't had any mod issues as of late, surprisingly. I've also learned that the a couple of the paid creator mods would seriously screw with my load order, since they would refuse to stay in their respective places.

They always have armors for you to get. His darksouls bosses were some of the toughest just by there health alone. But those seemed to have been removed if your talking xbox

This is gonna sound pointless but i have not seen even a single attempt to port an enb. Ive seen nudie mods and killable potatos and playable potatos and skimpy outfits and lewd animations getting ported, even if they get taken down within a week, but ive seen like no attempts to do an enb

It's not possible to have ENB on Xbox for basically the same reason you can't have the Script Extender either.
And āENB likeā is really just not a thing. Nothing comes close to ENB without ENB.

hello, i've been advised to write here concerning my ongoing issues with skyrim ae....could anybody help me debug an issue i'm having with modded skyrim please? since i've reached hjaalmarch (Morthal surroundings) it's been freezing and crashing... it's quite annoying. Now i'm stuck in whiterun (crashes when I leave).. any idea how I can fix it? I've sank like 40 hours in this save.

Xbox is a closed system. You don't have access to the file system outside the data folder. If the file structure on Xbox follows Game Pass structure on PC, then there's a possibility that the games themselves are set up like Windows apps. (We have no way of knowing if one is not in the Xbox developers program and there are NDAs prohibiting saying anything anyway). Regardless, if ENB has to be installed outside the data folder and modifies the game's binary, it is impossible to add.
Im also having isues with skyrim im on xbox and the controls for things like search and load order arnt working
Even if ENB or CS were inside the Data folder, XBox copies don't allow for 3rd party DLLs to execute at runtime.
Submit a bug report to Bethesda about the search. Make sure to tell them the type of controller you are using (elite, standard, custom, etc) https://help.bethesda.net
(it might be easier to use the creations website search for now)
I'm currently having a cookie issue with the Bethesda api so I cannot link the Bethesda instructions for how to fix things. This is what I did to get things organized:
Go through your mods on the website, cull them, and organize them there, first. Use the website to write down what you want your load order to look like, and then go in-game and purge any saves associated with your old load order (adding or removing changes the load order and makes the save unstable or creates bugs in it). A fresh install of everything may be what you have to do. The database change seems to have changed a lot of things under the hood. After you have everything organized, download the new load order after you've organized and or purged everything on your Xbox. If you write down your load order and keep the mod list fairly short, it's much easier to manage.

If that's the same thing as the STDIO file handles limit, then yes, and that would stop you once you hit 512 files. Which can be either .esp/m/l or .bsa files in any combination.

Yes you can download what seems like an infinite number. Its up to the user to smartly only have a max of 255 esm/esp limit and the rest be esls
That seems like a potential recipe for disaster.
It's also technically 244 since the games official masters count toward the limit, and there are 9 of those. FE (254) is reserved for ESL mapping, and FF (255) is the save game.
It was when mods first launched on console. We didn't have the limit. People complaining ended up with us getting locked to 150 in the first place. I rather have people who dont wanna learn brick there game till they wipe there mods then be limited again
I think it would be sensible for Bethesda to limit at 244 non-ESL files and allow more if they're ESL flagged but that's probably more complication than it would be worth.
The problem with there ui is. I dont think it counts what its flagged as, only the total number of mods. At least thats what the ui leads anyone to believe
It doesn't and has never cared if a mod is marked esl. It still took up a slot.
This is still the case for fallout 4. At least now we on console can use esl mods properly

This is simpler. Enough time has passed. People have learned. How would you like it if pc modding suddenly got locked from as many as your system can handle to 150 mods
Yea people have learned a lot since SSE release and console are far more capable now too.
Esl has always "worked" far as the actual esp count the game takes into account. But it still took up a slot because bethesdas counter didnt care what file type the mod used

PC isn't a walled garden with strict controls imposed by the platform so this would never have any logical reason for happening.

Mod authors have to say it themselves or you can use tonmas' mod "Just Checking" to find out how mant esp/esm mods you got
My total load order is 255 or so but 210 of them are actually esm/esp modsm the rest are flagged esl or are esl
He explained how it worked a few days ago. Pretty much if you got like idk 300 mods and only like see it mark 6 mods. Then you have to many esm files because it resets the counter at 255. So long as you dont go over it your good

Many of the definitions of basic modding stuff are on the wiki. Not the in-game manager, mind, but enough information to get started. More information needs to be added for regular players though

ive seen more and more people saying the building system of 4 and 76 were actually better. definitely a preference thing, but it's not a good sign if people are willing to say that Fallout 76 did something better

Fallout 76 has the best visual storytelling outside of all the Fallouts. The game world is very detailed. Unfortunately it is multiplayer
They really went beyond what anyone asked for
We wanted, co-op fallout and co op elder scrolls. What we got was an MMO and a psudo mmo. So far from what we actually wanted its funny

it doesnt feel like a multiplayer game, i think that's the core problem. doesnt help that soooooooo many quests just straight don't operate and progress properly in co-op. i mean, Morrowind multiplayer works more cohesively than Fallout76

I hate multiplayer so I donāt have an issue with how itās set up. It was ruined a few updates back so Iām done with it.
ESO isnt a bad game tbf. it was heavily muddied by people expecting a Skyrim-Online esque experience. there's definitely criticisms to be made (jesus christ the lore contradictions drive me insane alone) but i'd say it was a success at what it was trying to be.

On PC, thereās a crash logger to diagnose when you hit the file limit and are crashing. I agree with Arthmoor. 244 plug-ins should be there since the 255 includes all game plugins
Yeah but then what of esl marked mods? On console at least it doesnt seem bethesda has made an attempt in the past to let them go over tje limit. If they gave us a 244 limit it would be a 244 limit of everything. Even esl mods that arnt the problem
you can't fit a texture overhaul in 5gb? most of the comprehensive aio's are around 1gb. do you just throw in a bunch of new items to obtain instead? (not a rude remark, just genuinely curious)

I replace most every armor and weapon and add a bunch more in. I change every base game mechanic in some way and have added a bunch more as well

not necessarily, it comes down to if they'd be doing a download cap or a plug-in cap. but as arth pointed out, the latter is probably much more complicated (if possible at all) š¤

I had to forgo so many patches back when 150 was the limit. It sucked just hoping for the best
ahhh, nice. i eventually switched to trying more graphics/audio overhaul oriented stuff because i found myself almost never playing long enough to see all the new items i was adding
that's why i could never be bothered with LOTD for a full run. such a big sacrifice for (imo) nowhere near enough fun.
Only faces and some wood textures look weird on Series X. Whiterun and Riftenās boards have strange mipmapping that stretches too much when standing close
yea, the 150 was a download cap. but we just don't know if that was a choice they made, or if it had to be a download cap.

They have no combat ai as a result and will flee just like any other child when killing there families
Then they will forget you killed all the bandits they called family and whine about being an orphan

From player Animations, dialog, npc interactions, perks for werewolves, vampires and humans, changed race traits, changed standing stones, added two flavors of hunting mechanics because one has features the other doesnt, overhauled archery, changed npc ai for combat and out of combat, changed combat mechanics, expanded every major town and city in some way shape or form

Changed most every armor in the game, added new armors, added new weapons. Changed the start. Added some new mechanics, a lot of new mechanics

As I mentioned before, Bethesda controls the entire chain of upload. The CK can give the site the information it needs.
OR the site itself could check the .esp or .esm file to see if it also carries ESL.
Either way they could gather this information directly from the uploaded file and then pass that info along to the end user.
There'd be no need for guesswork.
The only thing i dont add is quest/new area mods unless its like tied to an armor i want because there is always quests ive either forgotten about or just have never done before that i can find

The followers in FO4 and FONV feel like actual people and the ones in other games feel more shallow. Skyrimās works since you can roleplay their personalities. Starfield has quests and likes but the keywords on objects and at certain points during free form exploration feel bugged or unfinished. But I feel like Iām playing that game incorrectly
I like the more blank slate followers from Skyrim for role playing
But if the Starfield ones would stop getting on to me for collecting money, Iād probably like them better. I want to be space rich guys, thanks
You might be. I still gotta finish my starfield playthrough. If i didn't delete my save by accident I prolly would of been deep into ng+ by now had it not milled my motivation to keep playing when i lost my 270 damage per shot revolver thing and my 47 per shot space vector that was way beyond what i could find at my level

Oh. I donāt use followers normally. I keep killing them off. Too many times have I accidentally shot one and then had to tote my stuff home. 
I dont use Followers because they love running into battle like crazy people

Lydia has got to be one of my favorites. Doesn't unnecessarily inject themselves in things or give quirky little quips. Her or Jenassa definitely. I think it's cause they are the first two followers you really have a choice of taking unless you go with Unbroken
Lydia doesnāt tank well enough to be useful to my play style. The only time she was really fun was the first time I completed the Companions quest. My character was female, she was female, and Aela was female, and Farkas was all, āNaw. Crawlies. Iām outā and split. I laughed so hard. Was like, āhell yeah, girl power.ā ROFL
I do wish followers in general did have more quips and comments. Erandur does, but they get repetitive, Heās sometimes my go to if playing a spellsword. He tanks fairly well and has fire for backup. Vaermina is one of my favorite Daedric Princes and I like Erandurās quest. Itās memorable.
Most the time though, itās just wandering and exploring without a follower.

From my personal knowledge, there are videos out there that step-by-step you through on how to do that. Quite a few creators on Nexus have links for that. I would also recommend contacting the author of the mod listed on Nexus

I think the reason I like Lydia so much was recently she tanked really good for me, distracted them enough for me to get the critical hit in on the back to drop them and she went straight to fight another. Saved my butt a few times so it was just cool.
I do wish they did have more quips, and there's a mod that gives them more quips, but all the same I like her a lot.

I am on the XBSX and though the Creation Club update is pretty good, it borked a few mods. One mod called "The Smelter Of Infinity" while loads, has the teleportation spells not functioning except for one. I tried looking for the mod, but it is not listed. Anyone have any ideas? Also the name of the creator of that mod is "asrussell2011" but cannot find them here or online elsewhere. They updated this particular mod just a few weeks before the Creation Club update was released. Happy Holidays everyone! š āļø āļø š

Not the pack itself but all of the mods used are on nexus. Mod packs like this are mostly a console thing or an all in one bundle made by the MA themselves. All of the nexus links are in the mod page so just go one by one through each mod if your trying to bring what it adds to pc
Now there ARE load order tools that have pre-built load orders that kinda do the same thing as a mod pack. But they download each mod individually for you instead of a pack being a single download

You could ask the mod author who is in here. Troubleshooting options are obviously very limited to you on console from your end. If you're not able to get it resolved, trying a different one or implementing your own for PlayStation is always an option.

When launching through vortex the game is not tracking on steam. is there any fix for that? because if i launch directly from steam the mods break and some of them dont work properly
Just a word of advice for all mod users: One reason why your Skyrim game is going funny is because there are a number of files that are ādirtyā, so remember to use SSEEdit before and after your updates.
Just spent half an hour reorganizing my LO and after saving it to bethesda.net it completely got messed up again and restoring the LO doesnāt work either. Bethesda is really not fixing this??
I use MO2 so I donāt have issues accept with LOTD CC patches anyone have any suggestions as how to fix it? Because if this I cannot put bow of shadows in my display. It is possible I broke something and it is not the authors fault

I had to wipe nearly 7 thousand mods from my thing because bethesda in all there glory had shoved every mod i have ever used ever ibto my library and bookmarks and i had to do some house cleaning

I switch between 4 different LO in my playthroughs. I had to rebuild 3 of them because of the UI issue. The 4th is new. I anticipated some possible issues when I saw that the updates lasted that long so I recorded a video of all LO while we were forced offline.
BGS suggestion: put a warning on the main screen or mod menu loading screen that warns people about using UI mods until a fix is pushed

it's a master file, so it'll jump to the top anyway. but with other master files like LOTD, yeah make sure USSEP is always at the very top.

there's now two versions because Bethesda added cross-platform uploading. the [XB1] versions are currently functionally identical to the other, but will not be further updated going forward. so currently it doesn't matter which you use, but i'd recommend using the other version(s).
