The author of that mod not only requires permission for the mod to be ported, but they are still active as shown by their profile on nexus - they last accessed the site today/yesterday. You could just send them a personal message asking them to port it either via Nexus's messaging system or, as their profile shows, via their personal website which has a Contact section. In the future, it would help to do this legwork yourself first.

I'm about to start a new game on my XBOX Series X. I'm not understanding how and why I can't earn achievements when the only mods I am trying to use are not cheats but mods to boost graphics, fps, sound, and textures. I would understand if I was trying to play and beat the game using infinite life, infinite ammo, or God mode. Is there a way for me to use the mods that are not cheat and still earn my achievements?
Because even loading one mod of any type disables achievements.
There is no way around it on Xbox.

You can limit your search results on bethnet to just xbox so it shouldn't be difficult for you to find one. 
Question on ToS.
If a Child is made a follower and is flagged essential
( which means they cannot die )
but instead go into the knocked down state.
Would a mod like this break the ToS?
Also, Babette is a Child Vampire who doesn't age, talks of murder and killing tales that she has done part of the vanilla game.
If we gave the follower child a similar back story would that then be okay?
from what i rember you cant,the reason was because when there a follower you can go into combat so it broke the rule
figure... I wonder if I can just adopt a child send them off to a "guild "

you could try a regular follower who is smaller im not sure on the rules for that though i was thinking of doing a small enemy npc for the bonelord armor but removed them because i wasnt sure what the rules were for small people

Brotherhood Scribes are following you around the Commonwealth, if you choose to do those radiants, in Fallout 4. They cower when any fighting starts just like vanilla Skyrim horses and the infamous Kid in a Fridge in Fallout 4. Don't know why there would be different rules for children, vampire or otherwise, following you around in Skyrim. If somebody essentially wants Claudia from Interview with the Vampire following them around in Skyrim, I don't see how it would violate the TOS to create such a mod unless, of course, it's a direct copy of Claudia. If in doubt, I'd just ask Bethesda through their official channels.

Good afternoon all, my favorite mod is called The Gifts of Talos, it has if i remember . one Broadsword,one Broadaxe,one axe,one sword, one dagger and one bow, but it does not have a mace. You can kill with one shot, as far as i know you can't get for skyrim se, unless it has changed.

i have a challenge for anyone who is a modder that is just for fun/ something i'm curious if it's possible
so the vampire disease from base skyrim(i forget the name)
the challenge is to make that disease be curable in a unique way, being out in the sun

Anyone know how to create a static object through a papyrus script. This is what i've tried, but i think the placeatme function is more for items? i really dont know, im new to this

hmm, when i do PlaceAtMe the object doesnt appear in game, thats the problem i'm having. i am aware that the PlaceAtMe method returns an object reference, but im not sure how that would apply in this situation.

Is the form a vanilla form, what kind of form are you trying to create?
im just trying to place a copy of an object reference if that makes sense (just a regular rock thats on the map in the same cell)

Question from a very simple, new modder. I've typically ran my mods through a mod organizer. I recently made a plugin in the CK that allows unplayable armor to be equip-able. The mod has to be enabled through the in-game mod menu. Is that normal? I was under the impression if the file was in the data folder, the mod would automatically load.
In order for your .esp file it work it has to be enabled by you.
Meaning I have to enable it through the in-game mod menu?

Either through the in-game mod menu or through some third-party utility, such as Wrye Bash.
This is another noob mod question, but in my interior cell, when the player moves too far away from the center of the level, they get teleported back to the door. I tried fixing this with a room boundary but that didnt seem to do it
Ah, okay. Is Vortex, MO2 also considered a utility like Wrye Bash? I've never used Wrye Bash myself
I've never used those utilities, but I believe they can enable mods as well. Someone who's familiar with them will have to tell you how to do it, though, because I have no idea. 🙂
Correct. MO2 has its own method for enabling mods.
generally when using a mod manager you then avoid the in-game mods menu entirely.
The in-game manager can be used to check if the plugin header is set up correctly though. If the in-game manager auto-disables it, then you know you have an issue you'll need to address (usually by adding the game as a master).

Now is there a vampire mod on Xbox 1 that makes it so if you are in shadows you dont get the sunlight debuff?

also if you're on PC, turn on the console, hit "tcl" and go through the closed door, then turn it off with "tcl" again 🙂

Hey all! I'm using the Creation Kit for the first time and now that I know my way around I've been working on an esp that makes most friendly wildlife attack most other humans like a wolf would. I've been watching videos trying to figure out why I can't get this to work. I've tried changing these settings in the actor section for EncChicken as a start:
In the stats tab:
- Changed class to EncClassAnimalPredator
In the factions tab: (I was told this may have an effect on other mods, but besides this esp I am running vanilla SSE)
- Added WolfFaction
- Added PredatorFaction
- Removed PreyFaction
In the AI Data tab:
- Setting aggression to frenzied
- Setting confidence to Foolhardy
- Setting mood to Angry
- Setting Morality to Any Crime
Despite these changes I am unable to have the chicken attack me. I've tried changing similar things for the cow and other friendly wildlife like the goat but to no avail. I know it's something simple I'm missing but I'm so new to this I don't understand what I'm missing yet. Any help or guidance where to find it would be greatly appreciated!
Took a peek at the wolves, bears, and sabre cats. Some of them seem to have aggro radius behavior and some do not, though most seem to stop at very aggressive rather than frenzied. I would try to double check the encounter class on the stats page, try to mirror a wolf or sabre cat at first, and then try aggro radius behavior. See if either of those encourages them to attack.

any mad lad out there mind helping me get some mods fixed iv being trying for a few days and cant seem to fix a issue where my game enter a sort of cutscene in helgen where my guy run on the spot and i dont have any hud elements or controls always happen when running from alduin cant seem to get very far from the chopping block before it hits
I'd try general mod troubleshooting:
- Disable half your mods and test.
- If that fixes the problem, it's in that half of your mods. If not, re-enable that half and disable the other half.
- Once you've identified which half of your mods is causing the problem, cut that half in half and repeat the process until you have a few mods left to test, and enable them one at a time until you find the culprit.
Keep in mind that it might not be one mod causing a problem, but rather a conflict between two or more mods, so you may have to choose which one you want to keep once you figure out which are conflicting.
Ahh that better then my method which is disable all and enable them one at a time while playing to find crash of issues

Yes! I had to pivot what I was making because I’m not the best at scripting but I’ve been messing with the aggro levels and I found out how to make npcs hostile on sight! I’m now trying to figure out how to have one npc from whiterun respawn when they usually don’t

Respawn is tricky with existing NPCs, and I always have to fight with it. Are they based on a template, or unique?
The NPCs you see in towns are mostly Unique(they are the ONLY reference to their base actor), meaning when they die they don't respawn. IIRC they are placed in dummy cell instead.

It’s super tricky, they’re unique which makes it super hard cause I might have to change their faction, make a respawn point for them, etc

You CAN however resurrect dead Unique NPCs.
I’m editing all players in the beggar class, for example Brenuin is who I always find first cause they’re in whiterun
If I could make a script that resurrects then after like 10 days and found a way to remove their cleanup cell I might be able to pull it off lol
I even went as far as to create a race for each beggar but what ended up happening was they lost all textures relating to their body and became floating heads
So, Unique actors are always persistent(actors in general are anyway). What you can do is make a script and have Brenuin's actor property set and then run a check if he's dead and if so, move his body to where ever you want and then call resurrect.

there is a slight problem with resurrect though, I donno if it's been fixed but 10yrs ago it was reported to not reset the Dead flag(so isDead would still return true even for resurrected actors), in this case you can check if their health is 0 via GetActorValue

So i was told this is where i should ask this, sorry if its been answered but i couldnt find anything: but does Anyone know if Bethesda is aware of an issue with their site where mod searches that yield more than 24 results make it to where you can only view either the newest or oldest 12 results? It will say "displaying results 1-12 of 163" and if you click the page numbers at the bottom it doesn't work. Is there a way to see more results than 12? Are they aware of/ planning on fixing this? I'm looking for patches and there are too many results. Please help.

I have some experience with that. The CK wiki once got super flooded with bots and the admins could not be contacted there and the beth forums were offline, so I had to go as far as ESO support and I think they forward it to the right support staff, and the wiki problem was solved. (Although looks like Ill have to do it again because editing on it has been broken for a year now)

Mostly broken. It's still possible to edit it, but it requires a janky workaround:
Are you able to login now though because that's what I mean. I know about that other edit problem. The site seems to have hit some kind of cookie limit and I cant login anymore.
However, as noted it's still janky in that it can tend to consider you to be logged in and logged out at the same time. But, per the convo bit I posted, it generally lets you stay logged in long enough to push an edit, using the above method.

Perhaps an adblocker is catching it for some reason.
I dont think it was NoScript since I've had that disabled for the wiki. That error and what you said made me investigate my browser settings a little deeper and I found the solution. 🙂 I had to turn off Enhanced Tracking Protection for it (I use Firefox)

I just dont get it XD. Ever single mod I've attempted there is literally always exactly ONE THING that stops me. Newest thing I was was making a remote teleport door, and the door spawns and I can get the reference to the doors that another door leads to, however it will not work on the spawned teleport door, most likely because it must be a persistent door(already in the world), already be linked to another door(meaning nav triangle it sits on it set as a door triangle). Blah
Working with magic effects(MGEF) gets honorable mention because you have to fight with Skyrim to get explosions to spawn markers.

Mods can be removed for various reasons, so it can be hard to tell. Sometimes a Mod Author will take it down themselves. Sometimes it turns out that a mod has violated the modding guidelines. These are just a couple of examples, but not the only reasons for mods being removed.

Yeah I was just a little hesitant abt starting a whole new game. I’m brand new to mods on console so I’m learning, thank you tho
what you should do is test the mods you want ingame before you start playing then start a new playthrough you could try and load it midgame

Ah. Well, you may want to keep an eye out for the next update to Debug Menu then. It will be including the ability to edit the names of NPCs and objects, but since it uses a text input system it isn't limited to pre-selected names.

Gokual, you seem to be missing a lot of things about Creation Club. Any existing mods cannot be creations, creations are "mini DLC" with a small number of authors approved as creators. When I read the article, I saw that the creators of Bethesda, and those who "create" mods were chosen to have their mods in the content of the creation club, people who have a great reputation, however the mods that I saw on console, some are unknown to me, so I thought why the great creators on the nexus were not also chosen to help us through the creation club?
Just because they didn't apply? The Creation Club way is not for bethesda to send invitations to great mod authors.

Hey, silly question perhaps, but how would I go about requiring the player be a thane to craft something?
Not my strong point at all, but I took a look at the guard/thane dialog, and it looks like there are a few conditions required to get out of jail, including the faction aligned with the jarl who made you thane and a quest. *Try (and you may need to tweak this a bit more) opening a constructible object, like recipeweaponsteelsword - down in the conditions, where it requires the steel smithing perk, right click > new. In the Condition function dropdown, GetVMQuestVariable then Parameters , Quest: 'FavorJalsMakeFriends' . This should default to NONE, and you may need to tweak it a bit to get it to fully recognize thane. I'm not certain how much of the existing dialog is only relevant to getting out of jail. Parameter 2 gives you the option of each hold with Imperial or Sons alignment. Though it mentions get out of jail, it also looks like the only way to tell it which old you're thane of. Then value is 1.00. Guessing at Run On Player, but it may turn out to be the default. That should at least get you a condition in place on the crafting recipe, and you can tweak/refine from there.

Yes, but it can act a little funky and last I recall has functional problems with managing and adjusting mod incompatibility. Mod Organizer 2 is much more versatile and has advanced modding options when needed (including having LOOT inbuilt).
Try the steps on https://beth.games/3FYbE8r . Honestly, if it's a mod causing it. Uninstalling them all and Skyrim works correctly, add the addons back one at a time to find out which one it is.

Help, I'm using MO2, and i downloaded a bunch of mods then started a new game, and in the prisoner cart, I'm stuck in the laying down position, when i get to the gate, the horses and cart in front of me gets stuck in the running position against the gate, and the guards are frozen. I've tried disabling all my mods but nothing happened

How did you install your mods? Drop them into something like Vortex, or just extract their contents into your data folder?
If you're doing manual installs, you want to make sure the files are extracted from the zip/rar/etc archive and placed in the right file path. Usually starts with your data folder, but some go elsewhere. The thing is that most of them are being made for mod managers like Vortex to be able to walk you through a variable install, so you may need to do some folder surgery if you're going to do manual.
I have a hard time switching away from manual, but if you're new to this, I would strongly suggest using Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 or one of those.
Best part about these is if you want to remove a mod, it removes all of it, without you having to hunt through a bunch of different shared folders and try to pick out the right pieces.

Not sure why that would happen, but since I've never heard of that happening for anyone else, I assume it's a mod conflict of some sort. Try disabling other mods temporarily to see if that fixes it.
Weird that two people mentioned separate issues with a mod that's been out for so many years within two hours of each other, lol. As with the one above, try disabling other mods and see if that fixes it. If it does, keep enabling mods until you figure out the culprit.

New mods could be made requiring AE, yes. Whether or not any will depends entirely on the author and whether they purchased AE or not. Whether or not there are downsides to getting only SSE instead of AE is a matter of opinion, as well; rather, the question you should probably ask yourself is if you'd rather pay full price or half price for AE as it is currently half-price due to the holiday/winter sale(s) and will likely go back to full price in a few days when the sale ends.

Oh I see so it’s the weapon I have to apply and not so much a cheat outside of the room?

much of what the mod does is essentially use the console commands
just go to the room pick one of the weapons then return to the game and use it similar to other weapons
i would think one of the rings grants the kill command to actors you encounter

At a glance, it looks like this .bsa is intended to be used with the original 32-bit version of Skyrimand one of your mods is attempting to use it in the newer 64-bit Special Edition.

For Amazing Follower Tweaks, why am I not getting the "Tweak Options" button when in dialogue with a follower NPC?
I saw a flag in Vortex saying that AFT requires cleaning (Loot). Would this possibly fix the problem?

If I remember correctly, mods like AFT don't always work on unique followers which have their own framework. (ie: Inigo, etc.)
You can try going to the powers menu and use "tweak make follower" to see if it jolts the follower into the AFT framework, but be aware that it may bork things even more, or later in game. I would strongly recommend a hard save before you try, and a thorough test afterward, and even then you may end up having to start a new game, if I problem develops later.
Mod is made for Skyrim (2011). The BSA/ESP file need to be reopened, corrected and recompiled in Skyrim Special Edition's version of the Creation Kit.
For most ESPs it's as simple as opening and resaving them but I've never compiled into a BSA before. That's only necessary in stupid cases, and there should be an SE port of the mod.

custom framework followers + follower managers tend to cause problems, though some have nicer blacklist systems or won't work on anything other than vanilla followers by default.

I got the mod and its dependencies, and then modified the load order so that the updater AFT loads and then its dependencies load after AFT SE AE. Then, Sofia loads after the last dependent mod for AFT SE as a precaution.
Everything else I left alone lol

The original plan for the Fishing creation was to have the player fight a living Emperor Crab. Afterward, you'd be able to pay some Dunmer to hollow it out and turn it into a home. Unfortunately this had to be cut for time.

The Inigo the Brave companion mod was the greatest mod ever made for skyrim. I cannot play the game mod free because of it. He actually is my favorite.
I dont know where to put this but for some reason the status page on Bethesda says skyrim mods are operational yet when i go to the skyrim mods page it goes to it but does not show mods for a few seconds and when it does i click on one and it kicks me back to home page with a pop-up box saying The requested URL was not found.

Are you using haggling potions/necklace to get the best possible money? If so, there is a rich merchants mod (PC) and I think PowerOfThree has one that will fix the barter limit. If not, and you're just looking to dump them, I have found storefront to be a Divinesend. Dump everything in a chest, wife gives me money later.

This always happened to me, but I'm not sure with the latest update. You need to make a clean save.
- After you recruit a follower, dismiss him.
- Save. Quit.
- Deactivate AFT plugin using Launcher of NMM.
- Load the game, then save in different location.
- Reactivate the plugin.
Now try again recruiting a follower and see if the dialogue appears.
For The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Help with amazing follower tweaks".
There's no such thing as a "Clean Save" in Skyrim (or FO4 for that matter). Anyone telling you to uninstall a mod, load the save, then reinstall the mod after making a new one should be ignored. You'll just break the save.

It says to put AFT as the highest priority for the load order. How do I do that in Vortex?
Vortex doesn't have manual load order adjustment, but "highest priority" is usually equivalent to "load last", which is also generally not very good advice for most mods. So the best you're probably going to be able to do is get it to reposition that mods to load close to last.
Ok. I set up rules so that the load order works with other mods that I am using AFT with, so those should hopefully stay the same except being positioned lower in the order.

Why did faction warfare have ambushes in cities when the setting was set to otherwise prevent that in the first place? This happened as soon as I started a new game. I changed my load order to prevent this, but the game crashed in the middle of the prologue.

It was set by default to not do that at the start of the game in the mod's MCM settings. Even when it wasn't set to allow ambushes in cities, they still happened.

There is also Blackthorn which is an entire village and multiple stores you can build. NPCs run the shops for you. It’s a bit problematic on Xbox though. The player home is amazing. But once it gets filled with too much it can have crashing issues. Requires a light light order and 🤞

Sorry I meant I want more of a grid-like slot system with the 3D icons that morrowinds inventory has for oblivion, I wish someone made a mod like that, at least morrowind, oblivion, and skyrim got Fallout 4's real-time looting menu. Now if only modders gave oblivion that 3D inventory slot thing get rid of the paper/parchment inventory it has. Thank you to the modders making these mods though for both skyrim LE/skyrim SE.

try drawing and then sheathing your weapons. If they are inclined to try to arrest, that should trigger it.

I tried The Frozen North because Survival Mode was causing my game to crash. While TFN hasn't caused a CTD yet, it slowed down the quest system massively. I'd be talking to an NPC about a quest and it will take a minute after they stop talking for the quest to register.
Disabling the mod helped, but any idea why this happens?

Discord has a setting to mute pings and it can be done on a per-server basis.
Mods are made on PC first, you need the Creation Kit, which is PC exclusive only. The mod author can make the mod on his/her PC and not upload it to nexus mods or PC bethesda.net and post it to only Xbox bethesda.net or however that works, but you cannot create mods on the PS or Xbox first.

Clockstrike1 never made a PC version of The Ring of Immortality. By all means, I know you need a PC to make the mod. I couldn't find the PC version.
Out of curiosity, what does it do that TGM doesn't do?
I don't have to keep activating it all the time and It makes my Smithing and Enchanting skills be at 100.
Plus, With Cheat room, I'm able to get a duplicate to give to a follower.

I'm prone to crashes. Because god forbid I know how to make a proper load order. TGM disables when I get the game back up.
The Ring of Immortality was a reliable mod for me on Xbox.
making a proper load order is intrinsic to a bethesda game and pc has tools like loot to help
i highly reccomend learning it
At the very least, install, update, run LOOT and let it do what it wants. Make sure any patches are below whichever mods they patch, and apply. You will likely run into fewer problems straightaway, and then you have at least a foundation from which to do fine tuning if needed. Be aware that crashes can, among other things, also be mod conflicts rather than load order, so be aware of mods that may add navmesh to the same areas. LOOT will give you some warnings, based on prior feedback, that can help to identify problem mods.

It's worth noting that Debug Menu's implementation of TGM causes it to persist between sessions so that it doesn't need to be reapplied like that.

The Creation Kit uninstalls itself from my computer every time I launch Skyrim. I have installed the Creation Kit and Skyrim on an external SSD. Could that be the problem? Anyone else have this issue? I've been using the Steam version of the Creation Kit but would love if there's a way to do it without Steam if this is going to be a continuing issue for me.
My go-to thought regarding file system shenanigans with regards to Skyrim and such is that you may have OneDrive causing the problem.

Followup thought then is third-party antivirus and/or firewall software quarantining and/or sandboxing files.
Beyond that, and if you have no other cloud drive software, dunno.
Being that they're installed on an external drive, and if all other possibilities failed, then that could be the cause. I've thusfar in life avoided installing programs on an external drive simply because I've yet to have/use an external drive with enough transfer speed to be on par with an internal drive, so it's not a problem I've had a chance to encounter.

I wish the Bethesda launcher still existed! Lol or perhaps a legitimate non-Steam version? Guess I'll just keep reinstalling the CK and the bugfixes for the CK each time I want to work on my new work-in-progress mod 🙃
I mean, the bethesda launcher does still exist; you just had to have it installed beforehand (I'm still using the bethnet version of the CK). Regarding the CK uninstalling shenanigans I think you may want to keep looking into it because that's decidedly abnormal behavior in general and may be indicating a problem in the OS and/or your settings that shouldn't be ignored. 
Do you still have the Bethesda launcher installer handy by chance? Scratch that, I'll try digging!
Seems unlikely, but I can check. Sometimes i save installers.
Can't find it, so probably not.
If you do find a copy of the installer somewhere (or what seems to be a copy of it), just be sure to run it through something like virustotal first to make sure it's not infected with malware etc.

Maybe if it weren't for the CK downgrade patcher, perhaps. I personally just cannot go back to using the editor without CK fixes. Those patches are practically essential.
Thankfully, the Steam version with the fixes seems to work identically to the Bethesda launcher version using them.
Using all the fixes now through the Steam CK as well. To fix the CK deleting itself I moved my core Skyrim folder and the CK to my C drive instead of my external SSD drive. Bizarre how it was so insistent but oh well!
Strange, my external drive doesn't do that with my Skyrim's CK. Never heard of that happening before.
I mean a Samuel L. Jackson follower and a Happy Gilmore follower...each has their merits. If you go with Sam, you will of course have to create snakes to infest the carriage. With Happy, when you max him out at level 30, you have to fight Bob Barker for a necklace of haggling.

Some clips in Skyrim are difficult to perform, or at least require a specific setup. But this new way to clip is so simple that I'm surprised it wasn't found sooner. It allows you to activate door bars, chests, and more through walls. The only thing you need is a one-handed weapon.

What I don't get is that it was j just fine, I started my LO over. Downloaded a few mods to test and from then on I couldn't get back to the mods. Or to download my AE content for that matter.

This is ridiculous in my opinion. This has been an ongoing issue for how many years? I haven't played Skyrim since my wife died in 2016. I come back to try to bring back some happy memories and all I've had is issues for over a week.

Reset my modem. I did that 20 minutes ago and it did nothing. Guy tells me he'll have to send it to higher by email. Sheesh.
An issue on Bethesda. No steps will solve this issue and the Support team can't help. Best to just wait it out. Give it a few hours and it should sort itself out. That's what I did.

Welp, trying to uninstall CK via Steam just deleted the entirety of Skyrim and it's mod files. Funnily enough, every CK file is all that's left. I double checked to make sure I wasn't accidentally in Skyrim SE in my library.

Nah, just for Skyrim, there's way more mods and it's a lot more difficult to figure out what's what
I have never played FO4. But there are lots of great weather options on Xbox. I would recommend a new option. Dawn. Very well done. Very comprehensive. Also serves as a nice nature audio overhaul as well.
Was gonna send a screenshot, but none of them really cap what's on my screen, it's basically a Siberian winter from ground to plants to buildings to lighting and sound effects. Made end game really fun running around partially snowblinded most of the time, whole map felt like an entirely new place.
sadly the best mod I've used is only available on PC, Winter Overhaul its called, the Mod Author has retired and its not open permissions, I released a few mods just before Christmas, Saturalia weathers and its Christmas in Skyrim which adds in more snow on buildings and on paths in snowy areas, you could always overwrite the wood on the buildings to remove the red, FrostFall is another good mod if you like the challenge of the cold, if you haven't heard of it you need to wear warmer clothes and eat warm food and drink, I dont think Skyrim has as good as Fallout when it comes to winter overhauls, not on the Xbox anyway
😦 I was afraid of that, unlike other people I can't play Skyrim over and over and over again. I usually start a new save, get a day or two in, and then get bored. Was hoping the change of scenery would make it feel fresh again.

it uses your textures you would need to find a plant mod,it also isnt a weather mod you could use it with climates of tamerial winter,if you like cotw better load it after and let wintertime cover what cotw doesnt,im not familar with weather mods i still use climates of tamerial

I’m using an interior decorator mod that lets you build/add objects in game.I added a room to an existing player house (a mod)
By adding I mean I literally built a floor and walls into a vast nothingness of blue/green space.
I want it to be a training/testing room to fight enemies I spawn (using an enemy spawner mod) but when I tested it the enemies will spawn right outside the room (in the actual house) and even if I agro them they won’t follow me into the new room
Is this a nav mesh issue or whatever it’s called? Is there something I can do to fix it?

me and my friends have been playing Elderscrolls Online recently and we've been having a blast 😁
If your doors are load doors, as in, they lead to loading screens, then it's probably an Encounter Zone problem. You kind of need those for the game to dictate whether or not enemies can follow you into a different loaded area. Also, without navmesh existing in the new room you built, I can't see it being a viable option to be a training ground, because navmesh is quite important for in-game combat. NPC's will not behave as they should without it.
It's much better to use the CK for this stuff, to do it properly (if your on PC). It may not be as immersive as what you described doing, but it is the best option.
@gilded condor ok I think I understand. It’s a no load door though. I simply destroyed a wall in the house and built a room in the nothingness beyond. But if I understand correctly your saying npcs simply won’t interact in new areas created this way? I’m on ps4 and can’t mod so this is the closest thing I have to creating my own areas/rooms and clutter.

Just want to verify, you got SKSE from silverlock.org and are using build 2.2.3 for game version 1.6.640? If you go to your Skyrim Special Edition folder (one step back from the data folder) and hover the mouse over SkyrimSE.exe does it also say 1.6.640?

I know we don't talk and that's what ever but I keep getting messages about people trying to report your mods, I honestly don't care, only thing I care about is being spammed from what may just be trolls with nothing better to do.
Confirming I did check that mod. The permissions are a bit wobbly, so I can understand why some folks have raised concerns.
Generally speaking, all a porter needs is permission from the OMA. This being said, if the mod has assets which explicitly state they aren't allowed on other platforms, it's on the porter be aware of that. The OMA may also require that permission be obtained from other contributors, in which case the porter is required to do this. Such a requirement is especially common with mod packs and similar bundling.
In this case, AncientKane has given permission to port the mod, and recommended the porter check on the authors of some assets. We certainly appreciate when a mod author is uncertain and asks that people check.
None of the assets used here seem to note they're exclusive to Nexus. Vicn clearly doesn't want their full mods ported here, but I didn't see evidence that a mod using some of their assets can't be. If I missed something, please point it out.
Regarding Vicn specifically, a search for his name on Bethesda.net brings up 70 mods. None appear to be straight ports (which Vicn doesn't allow), rather their mods using his assets.
If Vicn doesn't want anything using his assets on Bethesda.net we will happy run through this list and removing anything which does. However, without seeing additional evidence, that's not the impression I'm getting.

Modding Bethesda's games has always been the responsibiliy of the individual mod user and the modding community as a whole. Bethesda hosts a mod spotlight once a month that draws attention to single mods, but do not officially endorse mod lists.

Can you run your entire load order in xedit, open Dragonborn and look at the outfits for those characters, and see if there is another mod touching the same thing? Conflict winner should be the extreme right-hand column.

I load into Alternate Start: several things happen
- CTD immediately
- CTD a few seconds in
- CTD a minute or so in
By pressing T to pop up the Wait window allowing for things to 'finish loading' seems to work... but only for a short while

It depends on your load order
It is not a problem with the Alternate Start mod. I use it in every game I play, even the ones that begin with the vanilla cart ride, and I have never experienced a problem with the mod yet. I agree with Cozmo Lunalus: it must be an issue with your current mod list, or possibly files that were not properly removed from your previous mod list

I meant to say the game crashing a few minutes in, whether having multiple script-heavy mods can do that*
I will have to go through the mods - most have been updated for AE, but there must be one or two hiding somewhere
Skyblivion looks great but I'm hesitant to support the project if all the remake is going to do is cause armies of game critics to retroactively crap on the original game.

I might chime in just a small bit, if it's not minded. Personally, I never ever dump things on Bethesda when making comparisons with what we've done with the mod. They made fantastic use of the technology that was available for them at the time, and while I was way too young to even know or remember this then, I hear it was widely regarded as a very beautiful game especially in 2006. I still think it's a very beautiful game, plus in its own ways. I still play the original nowadays and love it.
Nothing but love for Bethesda from me.

My experience interacting with the Black Mesa fandom right after the Xen chapter was released, to the point of people openly dismissing the original game outright because "it's dated/graphics/unfulfilling of the premise's true intentions"
It doesn't help that HLA soft canonized the remake.
Right now, the original Halo trilogy is the only series to date I feel is warranted to be "fixed" in a fan remake. (i.e the Halo Reborn project currently in pre-production. The troubled development throughout the OT are very well known at this point and much of the story and planned ideas suffered from Bungie's problems)

it will either have requirements of another mod, possibly USSEP or you have a space issue, unsual on Playstation but its possible
sometimes files get uploaded like that or they turn blank when you release them they probley didnt notice there was no file,how there is 27 fav you can add it as a favorite from the website
just noticed there are no downloads so they probaly havent attched the esp or something strnage is going on, if bethesda had a problem with it they usually remove it

Hi guys, I’m having an issue with mods on Skyrim Special Edition on the Xbox Series X where any time I have any mods loaded in any order it causes a lot of the terrain to randomly phase in and out including buildings on any save or new game making the game essentially unplayable

I’m at work rn so I don’t have it in front of me but it was just cheat room and an extra finishers mod, it was under highest rated-today. Just wanted to see if an unarmed stealth build would be good enough for a full playthrough lol. I’ll definitely try all that, thanks folks 😄

I don't know of an existing mod that does this. Skyrim has about 20 unused body slots and, theoetically, it should be possible to reassign clothes to some of those slots. But the biggest problem in my opinion would be clipping. Some combinations of items would look horrendous when worn together. In those cases meshes, and perhaps textures as well, would have to be reworked. In short, I think it would be a ton of work for what might be considered by many to be a fairly niche project.
Idk I do have a couple of mods that rework vanilla armors to have less clipping on the shoulders and neck seams, but I really want a mod that lets me equip more clothes/armors on top. Then I can maybe use my remodeled armors mods.

Do you mean for showing the slots on the item in terms of what slots it uses or do you mean for showing the slots on the player in terms of what is equipped and where?

I'm not personally aware of such an existent mod offhand, but I am in the process of fleshing out the Edit Player submenu on my xbox mod Debug Menu and I can look into having a full slot display in the Equipment section (I was only planning on listing the basic/common slots). It should be possible since SSE added a function to get the armor (if any) in a specified slot, and there are also existing functions to get the equipped weapon(s) and shield etc.

Yes, I develop mods (users with orange names on this discord have the "Mod Author" role set which usually is accurate, but as it is user-selectable it has the potential to be erroneous); there are many authors (but not all) who are currently on this discord.
As for the mod's current contents, it contains several reimplementations and/or approximations of console commands as they would appear on PC thus making available a much wider array of debugging tasks for xbox players. It also contains what I call Convenience Menus which are meant for doing various debugging actions as well but in a more user-friendly form and as well as making available debugging actions not otherwise available via console commands. The main issue is that the convenience menus take significantly more time to create than console commands so the focus first falls on implementing commands and menu work being the secondary priority.
As for your third question, sort of; the plan for the equipment section is to display what is equipped and then provide the menus for equipping/unequipping things as desired - the equipping part being more useful for NPCs than the player, ofc. Although if for whatever reason a player wanted to "curse" an item in the process of equipping it so that it remains forcibly equipped similar to the Ring of Hirscine that would also be an option (although a very niche one).

Not exactly. It's not a mod that reworks or patches things directly; if you have a particular bug, lets say the soul gem bug, the mod does not include a fix for it. Rather, the mod makes available commands to perform various debugging functions. For instance, if you wanted to edit what are known as Actor Values there is a SetAV/SetActorValue command similar to the same command on PC.

Correct. Once I have it set up it'd be usable for both the player and NPCs. I'll probably be adding an Outfit editor to the Edit NPC section as well since there is a papyrus function for changing outfit that would likely make it possible.

The mod is already out (here: https://mods.bethesda.net/en/skyrim/mod-detail/4240482). Above when I mentioned future features that is regarding an update for the next version. As for commands, one thing that will help is if you, say, encounter a bug with a quest you'd want to look up the wiki page for the quest on the UESP wiki and check the bugs section - if there are console commands on PC used to resolve said bugs the information is usually listed there, and then you can look for the same command in Debug Menu to attempt to resolve the bug in the same way as described in the wiki.

I saw a chat system implemented to a different game, where you can write what you want to say to the NPC, and the NPC responds using AI. Could potentially add tons of content to the mods community, but unfortunately haven't seen it implemented yet.

I'm trying to port the inconsequential NPCs mod, and after running CAO and opening it in the CK i get a bunch of errors, 85 to be exact , and 68 of them are "QABook has invalid character", does anyone know how to fix this?

I have 4 souls, I have no option to unlock it by pressing square or anything, I went to the word walls and nothings working. Idk what to do, I can’t advance the mission anymore. I’m about to go crazy
Have you tried turning off the Mods, doing the quest, then turning them back on?
Before you do anything, make a save. Just in case. Then open your console and type
help "bend will"
to verify the 3 ID codes in the linked UESP page. (For Skyrim SE, the leading xx should be 04). Then, type
player.removeshout 040179d9

which should remove all 3 words from you. Then try to unlock the normal way. IF you have a save from before you hit the first word wall, you may have better luck reverting to it, doing the removal, then trying the unlock. This is not 100% guaranteed to work, hence the just-in-case save.

ah, nvm. Forget everything above. Double check to see if the mod has a removal option, or if there is another mod to do it. Otherwise, you may need to go back to a save before you added them all.

I put em that way since you can obtain Silver fairly quickly as well as Golden Saint Stuff
I can move them to a different level however it's fairly easy to do
I was thinking silver maybe just above steel or Orcish, the idea being it's expensive and rare, but not so powerful as the enchanted weapons people can find/make later. Maybe still rules out the common folk, but it could be the slightly better off's weapon against the undead, powerful weapons and enchantments still being beyond them at that level.
Often, if a mod is released for Xbox and not PlayStation, it's because it has external assets (new art, audio, scripts, et cetera). Unfortunately, PlayStation mods can't have external assets.
This isn't always the case, so it may be possible. You'd still need approval from the original author.

Unfortunately all of the edited art is added back as an external asset, so it can't come to PlayStation.
you asked the same question on Reddit and was told no it cant, they weren't pulling your leg, no external assets allowed on PlayStation so nothing other then esp`s using vanilla assets are allowed.

I have a question a a mod. The Riverwood mod by Ozimandy. It looks awesome but for some reason the names of Riverwood, Delphine and the barkeep are all squares instead of the names. Would it still be safe to use? I wouldn't even ask if it was just Riverwood and the barkeep. But Delphine is like a main character so wasn't sure if it would effect anything like quests or it would just be the name? Cause if it's just the names I'll use it cause it looks great.

It should be fine, at least where the text is concerned; I've never used that mod so I have no idea if the rest of what it does is safe or correct. Based on the mod description the author is (presumably) Russian, so what is showing as boxes is actually Cyrillic characters that the game fails to display properly when set to English (it seems to ignore unicode in general when set to English which is infuriating). If you felt like it you could try manually editing your personal copy of the mod to fix the names of things, either with the CK or with xEdit; it's easier than you may think.
As with all mods, you're going to want to give it a rigorous play test on a fresh save before using it on your intended playthrough.

I would have tried to contact the mod author but it looks like they're not active anymore. Which is a shame. I haven't run into any others on PS4 with type/style mods. Visually I mean. Gots like a Tolkien Middle Earth type thing going on. Would have liked to see what they could have done with a Tel Mithryn redone their way as like a player home. That would have been awesome.
Mentioning that information would be helpful, yes. Alternatively there are also server roles you can set on yourself in the #server-roles channel to indicate your system(s): #server-roles message
Unfortunately your options on PS4 are rather limited. If you have other mods that make edits to Delphine, Riverwood, and the bartender, etc, you can set them to load after that mod and their changes will (usually) end up overwriting it. Depending on what was changed, though, that does have the potential to break something in the overwritten mod if it does more than simply rename things.

Taking a wild guess, most people have their days off from work and/or school on weekends so there's likely to be more people playing on their consoles which in turn increases server traffic and puts more stress on the servers in general.

I have a question regarding this mod. Me and my friend have been playing the together mod today for the first time, and we really enjoyed it. However one problem that we are pretty upset about is the fact that we can’t see each others creation club items. We have both downloaded every single add-on from the creation club but say that we see a backpack both of us. If i then equip it, he will not be able to see it and same way around. If there are any mods or commands or any other way to fix this please reply. Would very much appreciate it👍🏽
