I do remember it occurring in unmodded Skyrim Special Edition a few years ago, when I first played through it with no mods (not even the Unofficial Patch) so I could get all the Steam Achievements: so it is not the Unofficial Patch that introduces this bug, however it also does not apparently fix it either.

Reporting something of this nature here on Discord is a good way for it to be forgotten in a day. We have a bug tracker for this purpose, where a report like this won't end up lost in the ether.

Yes, sadly. It's been reported a few times on both Reddit and Steam forums too, both in unmodded and minimally modded versions (including Unofficial Patch but not much else, certainly nothing that should affect Honningbrew Meadery or Thieves Guild).
As Arthmoor pointed out, reporting it on forums like reddit or even here can be easily lost; that's why the USSEP has its own independent bug tracker.

Even one would be helpful. As I have not heard of any that are actually due to the update. Unless possible they are a direct conflict. Which is not breaking mods it’s just a mod conflict.
some mods get updated and I usually try to wait for them, but every time there ends up being mods that don't get updated and that means your character ist kaput and you have to start from scratch again

I believe that is what JohnN was referencing. With the AE update a handful of mods were effected but the two I'm aware of were already fixed. Lucien et KJ's Magic Items...something like that.

The only affect I have seen is just a general performance dip. Or at least FPS problems are more pronounced now that it’s always trying to achieve 60FPS. When we were allowed to select 30FPS lag was not as noticeable.

It's possible that the original mods have corrupted files in that case. It's pretty common if the wrong tool was used to pack the archive.

I use it for both, never had an issue with it packing stuff wrong. No idea if the CK borks it or not because I can't ever get it to reach the option to try. It hard locks the program.

Essentially, I've been thinking of whether it'd be possible to create an application that can merge all esps, bsas, and scripts; using information from loot to determine incompatibilities and overwrite order when merging.

Years ago I merged 50+ Balmora house mods in Morrowind. It was a tedious process (requiring lots of conflict resolution) but it worked.

Hmm, I see so on paper yes, but likely non-recorded incompatibilities and the development time would likely lead it to be pointless. I've never moded in CK; only modding I've done has been in Minecraft but that's basically just code injection with Forge, which is what made me think of this. That and I always add too much stuff to Skyrim and have to modify them in SSEdit to run the game, so was curious if automating that process was possible w/o taking 10 years off my life.

Merging scripts would break your game. Many scripts rely upon having their own core code logic for Events such as OnLoad, OnUpdate, etc.
And then there are the various different types of scripts which determine what sort of forms the script can be attached to, what events it receives from the engine, and so on.

Mostly for scripts I was thinking for fixing things that break with shifting IDs relinking them back to there forms after merger. As for BSA size, Beyond Skyrim: Bruma's texture bsa is barely over 2 gigs but the idea would be smallest possible count of files not necessarily everything into one

Console limits the entire upload to 1gb because that's a limitation imposed by Bethesda.

It's because the archive format is based around signed 32 bit integers.
So the size is limited to the value of 2^32 bytes
suppose that makes sense. and explains why ive seen some bsas and mods the way they are.
It's also why the game's main archives are broken up the way they are.
For Fallout 4 it can go up to 4gb because it's based around unsigned integers, so the limit there is (2^32)*2

not only that but i think microsoft would have to agree. and then the fact that reserved space is reserved space. while most of us would be happy reserving that space, realize there are a ridiculous amount of players we havent spoken to, and will likely never speak to. taking this entire server into account doesnt really even necessarily give a significant amount of the playerbase when you think about how many people are in the entire world potentially playing skyrim/fallout. We have no idea how much they care about such a change, and should not just assume everyone shares most of our opinion especially given different demographics. Its very well possible a substantial amount would not be happy they suddenly have 5 more gb of their memory automatically reserved for "no reason". And losing all progress while they are at it.

No, the mods were fine. Everything sprang back to normal once the UI bug was fixed on Bethesda's end.
Not the mods. Just Bnet. Any mod people were already playing with continued to work perfectly. Problem was BGS didn’t seem to know what was going on at first. So people wiped their load orders when they didn’t need to.
I think once PC players who used the in-game menus started chiming in they realized it was something more than just the usual server hiccups.

Has anyone tried using the “zoom in and slow time” effect from archery with dual-projectile spells instead (or similar circumstances)? Can this be triggered from the spell cast?
I was contemplating reskinning a bow to use the spell casting animation files for drawing and then using the “lions arrow” feature from vokrii to shoot the spell, combined with invisible arrows and delete arrow on fire on something lol.

Yeah, I was thinking not vanilla. There may be a mod that does it, something like "scoped bows," but "scoped spells" instead, but I haven't yet encountered it.

so assuming that ws made a mod with creative commons that states that as long as others are also allowed to freely upload and modify etc your mod you are allowed to include his mod
if you then also added a mod to your bundle where you had to ask for explicit perms to be allowed to port it
and your mod still has to follow the original rules aka asking the author where you had to ask for explicit perms
then you couldnt really add ws's mod to the other ones mod by my understanding
because fundamentally that means that anyone wanting to reupload this bundle would also have to ask author B for explicit perms
which would be more restrictive than ws's mod
so id probably say that you should ask in this case ws? unless i am misunderstanding some part of the license or i got myself confused

The comments were tied into the forum threads when the forums went so did the comments go with them.
So they wanted to move to discord and the commenting on mods feature was a causality of that, rather than them having some independent reason to drop commenting on mods feature? Or at least, they didn’t publicly indicate that was part of the reasoning. But I have to image in the year since people have asked to bring the commenting on mods back, did they reply with any actual answer that they don’t want that feature?
Part of it there was also a lot of nastiness directed at mod authors and porters by a few very loud bad apples.
Some of those comment sections were downright toxic.
Mod authors could turn of comments if they wanted.

I wonder if there's a mod that allows you to rat Muiri out to Nilsine Shatter-Shield, and have Nilsine herself demand a counter-contract against Muiri - or at least ask you to turn Muiri in to the guards so she ends up in jail? (and perhaps Nilsine herself would offer a bounty for Alain Dufont's head, so you get paid for killing him, even if you kill Muiri and thus never get paid by her for it? And if you do things in the right order you can collect pay from both ladies for Dufont's death)
After all, Muiri's main target, the one you have to kill for the Dark Brotherhood, is Alain Dufont. Wanting Nilsine dead as well is a private arrangement that doesn't fall under Brotherhood terms, and can therefore be rejected: the Brotherhood doesn't care what happens as long as Dufont dies and you get paid for doing it...
I'm planning on playing Skyrim Together Reborn with a friend soon... I just wanted to ask: Is there anything special to do in this playthrough compared to vanilla?
If you partially mean creative things you can come up to do with your friends or randoms, then yeah. There is PVP functionality, but I haven't tried it.
Co-op does give a bit of a different feel to the game for sure.

Better is subjective, so lets say different and try both, the nice thing about Mods is the variety of different avenue's they add to the game so you customize for you own taste.

For those in here on xbox, Debug Menu version 1.1.0 is now available on bethnet (https://mods.bethesda.net/en/skyrim/mod-detail/4240482). The update brings an object targeting system allowing for in-game objects to be targeted for use by console commands such as Enable, Disable, Lock, MarkForDelete, MoveTo, SetScale, and Unlock. FormIDs from Creation Club and ESL mods can also now be used by the mod's commands, though it also requires inputting the filenames of said mods; filenames for Creation Club stuff can be found on the UESP wiki page for each CC.

Does anyone know what would cause the game on PC to suddenly freeze up? Like you're just walking down the road to Whiterun or chopping wood, and all of a sudden the game freezes. Audio and music is still playing normally, but the game is just frozen in place.

is there a mod on ps4 that stops bandits from spawning in the cave for the dwarven creation club house?
that seems like a big bug you should contact bethesda,also do you have any mods that spawn bandits it could be spawning them there
The cell is just set up like that, not a mod that's causing it. There is also an issue where a dragon can spawn there too.
Right. I know about the issue with the dragon. I’m wondering if a mod exists to stop that bug and bandits from spawning after it’s already been cleared.

I can almost finally get back to a reproducible load order! Lol. The last ones missing are Skyrim at War which brakka hasn’t re-uploaded yet, though I’m not sure if oversight or permission issues since the OMA removed it from nexus and retired or something
BTW I saw the paradise weather got its own bundle! That’s pretty slick I was running that for a while before going over to aegis weathers, but that’s been removed now so might go back to it
Btw why the subsurface scattering for skin mod inclusion? I recall substill had that in one of the bundles previously as well, does this “go with” the other mods in some way?
Also, the older bundles had ini setting to increase draw distance of distance NPC, do these include that as well?

If you're using mods any mod that listens for and executes code when the OnObjectEquip event starts that can do it as some places in the game spam that event. That's if I remember correctly but I got a feeling I'm forgetting something.
If that's the case, it might be Wet & Cold. Heard that mod can be pretty heavy in that regard.

I am not familiar with how to use that mod to do that, no, but I am familiar with how to use a mod called Debug Menu (https://mods.bethesda.net/en/skyrim/mod-detail/4240482) that can also do what you're trying to accomplish.

That is one thing it can do, yes. It can also use MoveTo to move the corpse to your location, or move you to its location.
You have a number of different ways of resolving the matter available to you via it.
When you install the mod it will add both add a power and a book to you, either one of which can be used to open the menu. From the main menu, you will find all of the implemented console commands under the Commands menu and then organized into submenus first by the target of the command (Player, NPC, Object, or Other (no target)) and then by alphabetical order (ABC, DEF, GHI, etc). AddItem for the player for instance you would find by going to Commands -> Player -> ABC -> AddItem.
Refer to the UESP wiki pages for when you are prompted for things like FormIDs, RefIDs, or filenames, as it contains that data. For instance, this page for the note you mention above lists the object's ID on the righthand side: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Matriarch_Drevlan's_Note

Ok so the process is this: cast spell for cheat menu, select object reference script>additem(objectbase item, int amount), then select form ID which I do custom while other options are form1-4, then type in the object form ID which is xx00082D (the xx replaced with my DLC code which happens to be 04) and hit exit to bring me to the next, then select dragonborn.esm as the file I'd like the form ID to be used on, then it asks me for another form ID variable, I then select custom and punch in what I just punched in before that, and then it asks me where I want it to be used and I select dragonborn, then it asks for an integer and I select custom where the other choices are int1-4, I put in +1 because I only need one note, then hit exit, and now I'm at a whole new list of dialog options saying formids, ints, strings, floats, custom mod and back
No error message and nothing added to inventory

Something to be aware of, by the way, is that in Debug Menu you have two options for FormID input. One is to use GetForm which requires the mod index (such as the 04 you mention above, although idk if that is the correct index for the DLC you mentioned). The other uses GetFormFromFile which requires inputting the filename of the DLC/mod (which can be found in the UESP wiki) but then allows you to input the formID without a mod index since the game figures out the mod index for you via the filename you give it.

The Items menu is a "convenience menu" that is still under construction. You want to go to the Commands menu instead.

The GetFormFromFile option is mainly if you are either inputting a formID from an ESL file, or if you want to enter a formID without the mod index.

It takes longer inputting the file name, of course, but it may be a faster way to go about it overall since you avoid inputting an incorrect mod index that way.
According to UESP that would be "ccasvsse001-almsivi.esm". And then for the formID you mentioned above - "xx00082D" - you would skip the "xx" and the leading zeroes after that and simply input "82D" as the formID.
I think I'm gonna have to add an option to store the filename for easy reuse like it does with the formID. Putting that on the to-do list. 
(gonna afk briefly to deal with something IRL. let me know how it goes, etc, and I'll respond after I get back)

Idk if I should post this here or not because I didn't see a mod idea/request section on the nexus disc. My apologies if not allowed.
[Mod Idea] Auto Put Away Weapons and Spells. Basically a mod that removes the need to have a button bound to put away your weapons or spells. Pressing the hand equipped key automatically brings them out so this shouldn't be an issue.
The "simple" method of doing this I think would be to basically have the mod check every X duration to see if the player is in combat. If not, the put away hands. Possibly may need a check for if in stealth override so you don't accidentally put hands away before stealth kill.
I think this would be handy for controller users particularly because of their limited key options and would free up a button for them.
For nexus, mod request are most visible on the forum, rather than the discord. Interesting idea. I am wondering if "x seconds after combat end" might be less resource use than 'every x seconds' or whatever.
Possibly. I was thinking a straight "if in combat" check for those instances we goof off and test out new weapons and swing at open air. Or for mods that allow training dummies to actually give exp. You wouldn't be in combat so would that script fire for the mods intended purpose?
Probably not is my guess, but take that with a grain of salt, as script work is not my strong point.
Mine either, I know next to nothing about actually scripting something. But I've been modding since Oblivion so I kinda have an understanding for how it can work. I usually just throw ideas out there like I am now.
I wonder if there's a way to make drawing the weapon trigger "combat," even if there are no red dots around, and then maybe x seconds after last swing.
Wouldn't that just be more script heavy that checking every ~5 seconds for "if in combat" or "if in stealth"?
I don't know. If it's only going to holster x seconds after you last swing. I don't know how to tell it "except when I'm in a dungeon and have them out the whole time"

I don't like the idea - if I'm wandering through a dungeon I might well want my weapons out rather than having them automatically sheathed. Especially if my weapons are spell based and I'd have to resummon them.
Potentially as well since the game seems to treat torches as a weapon you'd have it randomly putting your torch away as you're wandering along.
Good points to issues I didn't take into consideration. Maybe there's a way to check for "if in dungeon" or "if holding torch"? I usually use Wearable Lanterns so the torch issue didn't occur to me.

Your lighting bundle, i have about 6 ? and this is the first time im hearing about blackreach, more than likely a conflict or load order placement, I reccomend putting them above weathers, not being funny but blackreah is pretty dark and most of my bundles have darkened dungeons in, I do actually state "you will need a torch or wearable lantern"
@light wave there is a mod that lets you convince Balgruuf to join Ulfric - "Jarl Balgruuf Dilemma". I think that functionality should've been implemented in the vanilla game.
The rest of blackreach is fine, it was the silent outpost that gave me problems.
you're still not telling me which lighting bundle, its like telling the parents, one of your children was rude to me, am I supposed to guess ? - I've had no reports of any of bundles being too dark which actually turn out to be true, its all been conflicts with something or a load order placement.
It was your first Lighting bundle.

I've never really looked before because I've always used the load order suggestion found at https://skyrimseblog.wordpress.com/load-order-structure/
And I don't know for sure if this follows the Logical Load Order rule, but I think I'd like some help prioritizing my mod list. Not many uploaders or mod authors put an annotation to their mods that state where they should be in the load order and I feel like some of the mods I have are conflicting with one another due to load order placement.
I suppose my question is, is there any kind of website where I can input my mods that automatically arranges them so I can follow that and reorganize my mods on xbox?

I play xbox and the workbenches outside the Hearthfire add-on houses get annoying does anyone know of a mod to remove them or can someone make one?

Not on its own, no. With what the mod provides in terms of accessing the game's data, though, it is possible to break things if you so choose.
For instance, if you wanted to you could use the Disable command on Jarl Balgruuf which would remove him from the game world. As a result, various quests would break. But, it's something that can't happen on its own unless you make it happen.
All I will use it for is the workbenches outside the hearthfire home after u build it and remove the workbenches inside u know?
I thought once you had the house 100% complete you could remove the outside one…
That reminds me. I should add a convenience menu for player home stuff like that to the to-do list.

Once you've built all available options at a specific Carpenter's Workbench, you can choose to remove it.

Well, as I mention technically you can use the mod to target the workbenches and then remove them using the Disable command. Just know that they would remain gone unless you target them by their RefID and use the Enable command on them to return them.

Hello all, I am pretty new to discord and to modding as well. (as tech savvy as I am, im not that tech savvy) I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to have some mods made. I have tried using the creation kit and watching tutorials, but im just not grasping it. Any and all help would be appreciated!

I used the send to dark room feature to prevent The Courier from harassing me with Quest starters that I can't drop
I believe the Courier is still there, somewhere in the dark room. But I haven't visited there so I don't know if he truly exists in my game still or not, although I'm pretty sure there are a number of quests that you can start without having to get the letters or notes
I'd honestly love if somebody could make a mod that removes The Courier from the game altogether and replaces him with a mailbox system where you can pick and choose which items you want to take this way you are not forced to pick up a quest item that you may not want to have or start a quest from
I only wish I knew how to mod. I don't know anything about the construction set and whether or not you are required to own it on PC or if modding can be done through xbox or not. Otherwise there are a ton of mods that I would love to condense into a single mod so as to limit the number of mods in my list. I have plenty of space, most of my mods are small little tweaks to things, but there is a limit to the number of mods you can have on Xbox.

I'll make a save, use a mod to speed up time and observe the sun and moons, looking for a solar eclipse
If I catch one, I'll mark the day, revert my save and let time progress naturally to that day

You can find the special edition version of the creation kit on steam (separate from the "oldrim" version) and this is a decent starting point for tutorials, though a bit old. *The creation kit installation for SE hasn't been updated yet, but the info is basically the same. For xbox or PS4, you would need to create the mod on PC then you can upload it to bethesda.net from within the creation kit, for the specific platform as long as the mod fits within its limitations. (Ie: no external assets for PS4, etc.)

Open the menu using either the power or the book, then go to the Commands menu (via the button with that name), then the Object menu, then you would select the middle button to target an object with a power - this will exit the menu then automatically equip you with the object targeting power. Then simply aim at the object you want to edit, press the powers button to 'fire' at it, and it will prompt you with the object it targets; if the targeted object is the correct one (it usually is, but sometimes the power can "miss") then confirm it and you will be brought back into the object menu with the object now targeted. Then you can just pick which object command to use on it.

Most likely it still is there. If you're intending to either go to him or retrieve him from that place, you could do so via debug menu and using his RefID as noted on the UESP page for him (https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Courier) which is "39FB7".

You need to own the game on pc to mod and use the creation kit. I have it, and i have the creation kit. But I don't understand how to use it that well. I have attempted to make some spells and place some items but I don't get how to make the mod work or how to get the file to show up when trying to port to ps4. I know how to port it, but theres nothing in the list when i try to. Also, idk if im making spells the right way. I can duplicate a spell and then modify it, but idk if it works or how I can test it.

Is there a mod for Skyrim where I can drop gold coins like in morrowind? I had one for oblivion years ago running through obse.
By "files" and "list", are you referring to the archive list window that pops up before uploading your mod? If you aren't making use of anything that isn't already in the game (textures, sounds, nifs, etc.) then you don't need anything in that window. If you do need to add some files, you can drag and drop the source files into that window to be added to the archive before packing.

You have your Spell and your Magic Effect, which are the two most basic components of a spell. These both need to link to each other within their own windows. In the Spell window, you can right click in the Magic Effects box and link it the Spell. You can make a spell book to teach it to the player, where in the book's editor window you can specify which spell it'll teach. You can also teach spells in other ways, but I won't delve into that. I'm not 100% sure of all the steps that your stuck on, so if anything specific is causing confusion, feel free to specify either here or DMs. I don't have access to my PC (and won't for a while) so I'm running mostly off of memory.
"Projectile" is another important spell component (specified in the Magical Effects window). 🙂

It's the only texture that is bugged like that
The UV's on that nif are messed up, so whatever mod changed that basket model is likely causing the problem. The texture itself is probably fine.
Imagine you have a box and you unwrapped it, you would likely get a T-shape of course. UV's are basically the faces of a model that were unwrapped to be mapped with a texture.
Nif's are the file format for Bethesda's 3D models, whether it be animated, static, or have physics tied to them.
Likely. It might be the texture, or it might be the nif.
Portions of models turning black like that can also be an indicator that you're running out of memory in some way.

If it isn’t memory, the compression rate could be incorrect. Diffuse should be DTX1.
If it’s one you’ve made yourself, and you’re using photoshop, check the intel plugin to ensure you’re using the correct compression.
Another possibility is texture corruption if the texture is from an older mod that was packaged in an older RAR file.
Reading back, it looks like a mesh issue. The mesh in question may be from SMIM, which uses a different UV than vanilla. Look at the mesh in nifskope. Then update the path or adjust the UV until it aligns properly.

Also what Xbox are you on? My limited understanding is that console mods are only for Xbox one and Xbox one S due to changes in internal architecture between those and the Xbox one x. Modders did not receive an updated version of the CK for Xbox one x to convert things for XOX.

I wouldn’t use anything that says “high poly” on console. You need “game ready” assets on console.

If all of the textures are already covered, why do you need the high poly stuff?
Only for troubleshooting purposes. But otherwise if you aren’t crashing or having heavy lag then it’s fine to use HPP.

It’s stable and includes many bug fixes and removes XP32 dependency
That being said, check out Lunar Guard Armor, its a sweet looking, newer higher poly Khajiit armor that doesn’t cut off the tail 😉 . There’s also an integration plug-in available for it so the caravan guards use it.

It appears to work as I was able to look at a character wearing it with no problem but it's new level requirements and the inability to purchase the armor right away puts a dragon sized hole in all of my plans for the character unfortunately and I also cannot seem to find that book that supposedly added into there inventory

Is anyone getting The corrupt save bug in AE. It started with last AE update for me. Not sure what's causing it.
-Deleted all files, saves, etc. Did a full Re-Install of Skyrim SE AE. Verified. New game and after a while still get Corrupted saves again. Puzzling.

You might want to consider looking at nexus for SSE Engine Fixes if you're not already using it. It seemed to fix my issues with saves corrupting.
And to avoid quick saves, because anecdotally that seems to cause save rot over time.

ok i need to ask something XD i have a mod that lets me have more than 1 follower atm i have 4 (lydia lucien inigo and auri) and sometimes when i enter or exit a cell 1 or 2 of them dont come through with me BUT then i go back inside and they are not inside that cell
any idea where they might go? like i know some NPCs that you kill get sent to a death holding cell
@summer brook I do not know where they may be, but this is one of the things debug menu can solve. You can opt to either move to them or move them to you, so long as you have a valid RefID to input for them. If you intend to move to them, you'd go to Commands -> Player -> MNO - > MoveTo; conversely if you intend to move them to you, it's Commands -> NPC -> MNO -> MoveTo.
As for the RefID, if it's a vanilla follower you can find it in the UESP wiki usually. If it's a mod-added follower then you'll want to see if the mod has a page somewhere that it lists that data and/or ask someone familiar with that mod's data to tell you what it would be.

a fun one i sometimes find is ill teleport to falkreth with the group but lydia will be missing XD then i see her runnin from the other side of town

That can happen with teleport/fast travel if they come in at the wrong doorway, or you appear in the middle and they have to enter from one of the doors to the zone.
I sometimes get it happen without teleports in some of the shops.

Ok. But you still will hit a wall with ghost space. Sounds like you won’t be able to get below 142 (102 plus the 40MB you can never use) to maybe 200 still.

Right. So you have some amount between 0 and 48MB of ghost space. If you try and load a mod that takes you into that about (40-88MB showing in mod menu) it won’t work.

Hi new here! Question, not sure if it’s a dumb one. I’m on Xbox one using Sorted - Items Named By Category by lbgshi. My other mods are quite minimal but I can post if needed. It’s working great except it makes all of the food items categorized as food not restore hunger (playing in survival mode). It’s most items except for like a few cooked fish that are affected. Any ideas why?

You have to make sure that it installs into the Skyrim game main directory.
I know how it's supposed to work, been using it since 2017 but the steam version wont load any plugins, not even vanilla skyrim esm
Not sure what the hold-up there could be; I've never encountered behavior like that out of it. I suppose try checking your firewall or antivirus software if you have any and make sure they have exceptions set for those directories so they don't try to sandbox the files.

Basic modding should work fine on linux afaik. SKSE stuff may need an x86/x64 emulator though.
I can't recall if SKSE has a linux-specific distro or not.
How MC was even successful is beyond me, their software sucks. Apple, despite their faults, is trying to make new & better systems & products. Every smartphone company copies apple for a reason. Linux, never tried linux but I hear, from literally every tech guy I know to use linux.

Well, wish I had more advice for you, but I'm still using the bethnet version of the CK (since it has the SSE CK Fixes mod), so idk. 
Thanks for trying, I used the Bethnet version and sse ck fixes but started getting error 0xc000005 and when I instal the fixes with the update https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/71371 still get that error on the steam version

I only get the error with the fixes installed, it just crashes when loading a plugin without the fixes.

I dont have the fixes installed and I also uninstalled skyrim itself multiple times and deleted all folders before reinstalling, I only have skse, engine fixes and dll plugin loader installed

well thanks for trying, things been broken since September and I've tried every fixe on the nexus and tutorial I could find but I'm just stuck in a loop were it wont work 99.99% of the time and that 0.01% it will load I cant replicate

It's a cloud storage service bundled with windows. In terms of Skyrim it tends to screw with the installs sometimes, making files disappear in order to match what it thinks is supposed to be the file setup.
I tend to disable that as well as Steam's cloud save service as both are prone to those sorts of errors, unfortunately.

Not sure; it's been quite some time since I last did anything with that. I want to say it probably has a control panel or settings page somewhere that you should be able to turn it off from.

Hi, not really sure where to ask this but does anyone know much about the .FXP file format that the skyrim shaders use? I've written some code that extracts meshes, textures, etc from the BSAs just to play with the files and see how they work and stuff but I can't seem to find anything about the FXP files. CK is working again,
did not work after uninstalling one drive
but then I tried something I did not think of before,
I installed the fixes and then after that installed engine fixes,
they both have tbb.dll
and after installing the engine fixes tbb and replacing the ck fixes tbb it all works now.
has bin 3 months now and I pretty much accidentally fix it lol
the update for ck fixes was last updated in July so guessing not up to date with the 640 version

ps. day after and I still getting error 0xc000005 no matter how I launch
@pine crown anyway you can implement the fix that prevented NPCs from falling through the ground in solitude to other cities like Windhelm?
It's possible, but I've also never seen any reports of issues anywhere other than Solitude in a vanilla game.

Woah? Is that why Niranye and Nilsine Shatter-Shield (and on one occasion Thorsten Cruel-Sea) keep on disappearing from the game and ending up dead, and I have to keep on reverting to a previous save to keep them alive?
Must be a comparatively small hole because normally people are safe there...
I've not seen anybody die in Solitude, but Windhelm seems to be a place where people definitely fall through the floor unexpectedly.
There are actually several holes in Windhelm. I TCL'ed over Windhelm recently and was surprised at how many I saw. Now whether these cause NPCs to fall through the ground, I don't know. I'd guess that many of them may be too high or too inaccessible for NPCs to reach under normal circumstances.

Each would require a different version of the CK as they all have different installation directories.

d/l the ck from steam, put it in the game dir, prolly shoud work for epic/gog, the ck have to be in the game dir, i don't think there is a difrent if you put it in the right place
