You save files are tied to your GamerTag. Meaning the game can be completely uninstalled. Leaving no trace of Fallout 4 on your Xbox. Once this is done, you will then need to reinstall Fallout 4 only, go to the Creations menu, remove the mod/creation that is no longer there ** before loading anything**. Once you have removed it, you can then load your previous game, as it is saved to your GamerTag, not Xbox.

That is not uninstalling the game COMPLETELY
You will need to clear the reserved space and saved data.
If I clear saved data, I lose my saved games. If I clear reserved space, I lose my mods. If that's what I need to do then so be it.
You only lose local saved data when clearing your saved data. As I've said before, your Fallout 4 saves are tied to your GamerTag.

You're save files will be fine, even once you have cleared the save data and reserve space. Those are for the game itself. But the game's save files, those are tied to your GamerTag. While they sound similar, they are not the same. I've done this before myself. Please just trust me on this.

i mean if it doesn't, then there's some serious problem on bethesda's end. we're nuking pretty much everything to get back access to the mod menu, which is fine now that I know not to delete a mod from the bnet site until it's out of my load order
I've just recently started a Survival run of Fallout 4 for the first time and I'm loving it however I would really love to see exactly how much a stack of like ammo, for example, weighs like how you can in Fallout 76, anybody know of a mod that implements this?

I'm running some mods and creations and getting a periodic screen freeze. It's not too bad as for the most part it only seems to be whenever I go a certain and each freeze lasts only 5 or 6 seconds. It also made the Corvega plant really iffy with one crash and the screen periodically freezing for several seconds throughout the dungeon.
Anyways I'm hoping that somebody with technical knowledge can help me work out whats causing this, whether it's my load order or a specific mod. Thanks in advance. In Todd we trust

I use to combine many mods on xbox that would permit me to scrap and build anywhere in the entire commonwealth, even inside places. For that kind of freedom, you need to combine "Commonwealth geck -Take back the commonwealth" https://mods.bethesda.net/en/fallout4/mod-detail/4204045 This mod disables timing out the border. Pair that with Conquest mod and scrapping mods, and you can build and scrap anywhere on the map. BUT! beware-This will break previs precombines. This means there is potential you could end up with flickering textures. I never really had a problem with it though, and I was scrapping and building everywhere! I was totally reckless to be honest. I only started to have problems when I started to clean up the inside of Fallons. Then I got invisible white floors and walls. If you do not want to take such risks, then you can just try "Expanded settlements AIO" Which simply expands the borders of all settlements significantly.

Many. The main ones would be S.O.E and U.S.O. You are on old xbox 1? Brace yourself for lots and lots of crashing even with a healthy and perfect load order. Upgrade as soon as you can.

At least some, should be in your favorites section. If they don't show up there, your favorite section might be full. Delete some old favorites and try again.
I'm half tempted to replay Fallout London again. First time i did, i found it really mediocre, maybe my opinions will improve
Came back to my MO2 Fallout save and for some reason MO2 isn't loading the mods that are selected correctly. It is using the Creation Club section to determine what mods are selected. Any ideas?

It did this when I was using Vortex before too,
Perhaps the Creations system doesnāt get along with other modding systems.
Update: It did the same thing in GOG.
Update: I just reinstalled eveything with Steam and purged all files outside of MO2. That corrected the issue. It may have occurred because I was experimenting with running Fallout London from another outlook profile on the same pc. Maybe they conflicted somewhere.

There are quest fix mods, but I think you may need to go back to another save point. The faction rep system is final, I think.

Iāve had to learn that one the hard way too Xern. Here is how you approach the storyline in Fallout 4. You can get a bunch of rewards from each if you progress each faction up to the point of the text that will pop up and tell you that choice will change things in the Commonwealth. Stop progressing with that faction at that point, and select not to progress further with that faction. This way you can at least have a save where youāve reached the deciding point with them all.

They would be about double, or even triple, their default size. Wolves are big, and having the pack be a more intimidating encounter like a Yao Guai or Deathclaw might add some flavor.

Dw about the disturbance! Im honestly kinda surprised i got a notif lol. The issue may be because it's not updated for the next-gen update, but more likely you don't have one of the required dependencies. That being said i might not be able to even do anything to help, since my new computer doesn't like the creation kit and without that i cant publish mods to bethesda.net. i do still have the files though, and i could open them up in xedit and have a look as best i can to see if theres anything noticably wrong with the dependencies? If it does need an actual fix id be willing to give you (or someone else, if u dont have fo4 on pc) the files to upload to beth.net

Files not present usually means that the mod references a specific plugin that isnt enabled, so it cant run because it depends on information that doesnt exist in your game at that moment

I know one of the required dependencies are the plague doctors of the commonwealth but what is the other one?
Iirc its the custom workbench mod? I dont remember the name off the top of my head but it adds a bunch of workbenches for sorting. It's used because theres a utility workbench that i use to seperate mod config items from the chem bench. Its a neat mod, but if u dont want to install it i could easily whip up a version that just uses the chem bench. But i wouldnt be able to publish it unless someone else did it for me :/

Try that and lmk if it works. Nextgen shouldnt be an issue since it just edits some basic records and theres no assets that need to be repackaged for the newer format. and if u dont want to use the workbench mod and can find someone happy to upload the file i can make a standalone for you

Whats better for more mods you have... ex. 600+ mods... MO2 or Vortex
Not sure, since i have no experience with mo2 and have only used vortex, but there is a 250-ish mod cap with .esp files and a 4096 mod cap with .esl files, and vortex will very quickly and easily let you set something as an .esl if it fits the criteria for it. Which personally is like 90% of the mods ive downloaded. Id get someone who has more experience with mo2 to comment as well tho
Does anyone know why the mod tab is inaccessible on Xbox-One? I was trying to look at the mods I was useing on console to try and replicate that LO on PC, but when I tried to access the mod tab, I get an "This Operation Could Not be Completed" message.
You might have a mod in your load order that has been removed by the creator.
That makes no sense. Someone removing a mod from my LO should not affect my ability to access the mod tab at all.
I can't access the mod tab on console, but I can access it on PC.
It's a thing that happens after the most recent update to the game - if a mod has been deleted from bethesda.net it will lock you out of the mod menu. Not sure if this is intentional or a bug though.
if you know which mod it was that was deleted, you can boot Fallout 4 logged in to a different Xbox account and it will let you access your load order and you can find the mod and remove it.
If you don't know what the mod is, then you can delete your Reserved Space for Fallout 4 which will delete all of your installed mods and allow you to access mods again
Well, it sounds like a bug because in the past there were mods removed that I was using and was still able to access the mod tab.
Maybe - or they made the change intentionally to stop people using mods that had been deleted for moderation reasons. Either way, all we can do is speculate and the solutions above will allow you to access the mod menu again. :)
Deleting the reserve space deletes the mods I'm using, which defeats the purpose of what I'm trying to do, which is to look at what mods I have installed so I can replicate that LO on PC.
Then do the other solution of logging into a different xbox account and loading up the game - it will allow you to at least see the plugin names of the mods you're using which might help in determining what each mod is
Also you might find them in your library if you login to the bethesda.net website on the mods page

Operation could not be completed? If you get this whilst trying to access mods from the main menu, it means you have a mod in your load order that was removed from Bethesda.net. You will most likely need to delete your Reserved Space for Fallout 4 (2GB file) which will delete all of your installed mods however it will let you back into the mods menu. There's another method that allows you to keep your installed mods however it's only really feasible if you know exactly which mod got removed.

Can always put one of them down inside the tent. Or throw a sleeping bag in a tent, hell why not a actual bed or cot?

Honestly surprised your game runs with that modlist.
You're probably overwriting about a dozen files, and getting less than half what you installed running in game.
It's typically not a good idea to combine multiple mods that affect the same files, which most of those creature spawning mods do.

having a very specific problem with a very specific mod so if no one's able to answer this i'll happy take that as an answer but
using Snappy's build mod (on top of a few other mods but I doubt they're the cause of this issue, you never know though)
In the picture you can see me trying to place a trim on the top of the wall in the back-you can see I was able to do this for the first room, anyone have any idea why the game won't let me place a trim over there?

I'm very familiar with snappy. Looks like you shouldn't have a problem with that unless it needed a floor or roof piece behind it. When working with Trim, be mindful of their names. Some trims are for the floor while others are top or even for underneath a floor. With that particular section of housekit, I can recall the wall floor panels being super finicky. There grab point is very small in the center or something.
yeah I couldn't understand why-at some point I tried replacing one of the "working" trims and it didn't work, but the other one was fine. it might have had something to do with the metal beams in the area. no clue haha

Do you mean buildable interior items? Some of the main build mods would be snap n build, USO, s.o.e, home maker. Read descriptions carefully. I know for at least some or all of these, there are non dlc versions. Oh, other great mods that I consider essential for interior stuff would be renovated furniture, modular kitchens and cat deco.

Does anyone know how to remove collisions of inside buildings? I have shadows disabled and they are disabled on the outside but when I enter an interior, itās dark and has shadows. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to remove the collisions inside buildings that trigger the transition to darkness inside buildings and make it so building interiors have the same skybox as outside.

you click add lightbox, press 3 to scale it and you use the batch editor to put all lights in the level under it

It's the tool that lets you do something to a lot of objects all at once.
Wait I think I found out how to do it I just went into the interior to test it and clicked edit then went into lighting and selected use sky lighting and that did the trick from what I can see
Though I selected it for the building some parts are still not effected by the sun
I did the sky lighting edit for the converga plant and most of it is completely lit up but when I enter the lower and upper parts of it as soon as I walk through the door way it darkens like it was before then when I go back through the doorway it goes back to lit up idk what is transitioning the light boxes because I deleted the all the collisions in the interior and canāt see anything in the doorway

after the update deleted mods would cause you to not be able to enter the mod menu but here i sit with a deleted mod in my LO in the mod menu, also after the update it was no longer possible to play with mods offline since it would autodisable all mods, but i jsut tested it and while i still cant enter the mod menu offline i can boot up my save with all mods enabled

So Creations is an online feature. However, mods, once downloaded, are just a part of your save file. Essentially, you should be able to play your mods offline, for the most part. I am not sure if that answers your question.
yeah well after the update last year it would autodisable all the mods in your LO and no means to enter the mod menu to enable them(as was possible before the next gen update last year), the same with mods deleted off of bethnet they would cause you to no longer be able to enter the mods menu saying The Operation Cant Be Completed.
but just now i was re ordering my LO after the last time a mod got deleted off of bethnet and i noticed one that was deleted and showing just the ESP name but i was in my mod menu, then decided to test being offline and while i cant enter the mods menu i could boot up my save with all mods enabled, while normally after the next gen update when offline it would just autodisable all the mods in the LO
so i was wondering if anything is known to Bethesda doing something on the backend i suppose(cuz there was no downloadable update)
Ah I see. Not that I know of, no. Possibly the mod itself was updated? If anything I would ask the mod author if anything was changed on their end.

I had deleted all of my mods and save files before I jumped into the mod menu from the title screen. I didnāt see the flickering thumbnails that I had before. Havenāt attempted to start a new play through yet so it may revert back into the same issues then.

You have to enable them after downloading them. But don't just enable mods randomly. Learn about load orders.

The biggest thing that has irked me is with what they did to face gen editing and how it causes MASSIVE amounts of stutter the best example I can use is "Capital Wasteland Project Raiders"
the stutter i dont care about i have modded around in the past and can and will continue to do so(like u was using this mod that made Danse non hostile to BoS post quest and that caused stutter i so went into the CK myself and made a version that did not touch the NPC danse directly

Ok, so you want a radio mod where the music also plays on settlement radios and not just pip boy correct? You can always look for classical music radio replacer mods and just find the file tree mod folder and switch out the .wav files with your own.
First things first though. Start converting your music files from .mp3 or w/e to .wav with audacity. When you've loaded a song to audacity, hit export and select filetype to .wav. save it in a desktop folder or somewhere you can find it.
im having a problem with f4se. it says wsfw_identifier.dll does not appear to be a valid f4se plugin
Trying to add a .44 and .38 (for .357) receiver for lever action rifle. I copied and renamed an existing receiver so it made new entries for the mod, mismod, and comod.
The issue is that these receivers are showing up on a bunch of guns. Does anyone know what makes this happen?

Finally bought a series x and I am getting that error. Tried everything. Deleted all mods from my library in Bethesda. Reinstalled Fallout 4. Cleard the reserve space, etc. No luck.
I can access Creation Club stuff I own and download it, but the mods menu just gives that "the operation could not be completed" message.

We have no idea yet. Bethesda has not said anything about a switch 2 port as far as I know
This typically happens if the precombine tables aren't updated (as a result of bad load order)
I found a perfect combination of scrap mods that don't disable pre-combines and it works with All Settlements Extended (if you're on a PC)
Spring Cleaning + A Spring Cleaning Compatibility patch that someone made.
Both are necessary.. And you download the full version (not the Ini) and you can also choose to disable the deletion of houses and roads, which I also selected.. Other than that, it works exactly like scrap everything, I can scrap.. All of it! And I am not seeing any flickering or invisible objects and the Vault 111 elevator is still there!

Can you scrap oberland station building and somervill house without being immediately punished with breaking previs? I don't know why pc is so sensitive with scrapping. On Xbox, i had STS and I had scrapped just about every main .nif structure at settlements and never got texture flickering. But on pc, as SOON as I tried to scrap oberland building, texture flicker like crazy instantly.
My next game, I'm going to try the aio rebuild collection. It claims that most buildings you can scrap if they can be rebuilt. No more scrap mods for me.

Ok, well my previs is completely broken as I'm getting flickering right in front of my face. Looks like if I take one step, I'll fall. But this only happens at starlight, sunshine and sanctuary. Is there a list somewhere of what cells affect each other?
sometimes things get culled that should not be culled and objects disappear and flicker its a bandaid fix to broken visuals
if objects are flickering or are hidden/culled out by broken precombines i use tpc

not realy, its usefull if you have culling issues and flashing and hidden models, there is such thing as underdraw and you may get more models on screen, on newer hardware there is little downsides but on older hardware i would not recommend

Probably the best scrap mod I have used
First sign of a bad scrap mod is usually the Vault 111 elevator disappears.. Well, a bad mod in general.. I had a mod "Norepspawns Home Plate" break precombines and was making the Vault 111 elevator disappear, I was able to fix that myself though with FO4E
Spring cleaning is super old from 2015 and not updated since 2016. That alone, has me concerned. But if you got something stable, then hey, more power to ya! If it aint broke, don't fix it.
It's been updated.. š but someone came out with a compatability patch which also got an update and makes it even better..

What Spring Cleaning seems to do is actually delete what you're wanting to delete where most mods will simply just "hide" it

Clean My Settlement Redux is a newer one.. It only deletes a few things without breaking precombines.. It deletes leaves, trash, vines, shrubs and brambles and that's all it deletes..
I'll be trying rebuild aio. It cleans everything up plus allows you to scrap what is repaired in addition to rebuilding previs. It is the newest most popular way of doing things it seems without resorting to scrap mods
My problem with it is that it leaves everything too clean, everything is "too" repaired.. And I like my stuff rundown. I like the idea of Codsworth being a butler and all, cleaning everything up over 200 years in Sanctuary

probably like a minute or two, it takes a little longer as I have my game stored on a nvme and the mods on a sata ssd
although I could be overestimating, as I haven't actually had a real save file, just done a lot of testing
NVME alone is insane lol(i play on xbox but have a pretty decent PC aswell) wanted to test a mod i was doing on PC first it booted up into the save in like 5 secs(i will say that is NOT with a lot of mods lol)
xbox however im pretty much capped on there LO wise and that save does boot up slower then unmodded(if unmodded is like 10 secs my load time is like 20 to 30 secs)
tho i will say the limits on console are way tougher then PC ever will be like we can only use 2gb for mods and can have a max of 150 esp's
yeah Ik I loaded up fallout 3 and load screens were less than a second, I just don't have a big enough nvme for both the game and all my mods
i still have to setup TTW someday lol, should seriously do that, yes i like my RPG's on chill on the couch but Fallout 3 and NV in one package feck yes

for real imagine a city the size of downtown boston(maybe even cambridge included) almost each house can be entered(no load zones) and each npc has their own bed and stuff to do(and there are hundreds) and the best thing? it all runs at a solid framerate no stutters nothing meanwhile in Starfield on the same console i cant run tru New Atlantis without framedrops
really? does the nvme counter the amount of mods you have and it loads faster?
and? do those npcs actually do anything besides wandering around doing stuff? sounds like quantity over quality
It takes a lot longer for a new game, but a previous save will probably load in a minute maybe less, but I think the fact the mods are on an ssd themselves helps too

The only thing I donāt like about KCD is the combat system. Other than that the game is perfection

Be careful what you wish for. Downtown is notoriously unstable. Adding extra explosions would cripple performance even more so. Good luck.

so pretty much, the f4se is to counteract daks ammo rebalance override for the musket ammo.
that's all, it's kinda small but I think the damage of the gun is 1/3 of the original with daks mod
so i would need to up the damage a bit in the esp before i port? to keep it at the damage you intended?
nah just keep it as is
the damage is only affected if the mod is used alongside daks mod

There isn't a full settlement collection yet (Rebuild AIO will be on Xbox eventually when it gets a revamped update). I've personally uploaded "Sanctuary Deep Clean and Remodel" which rebuilds the previsibines it touches. I should get around to doing the rest of his mods that have open permissions eventually.

Yes you would have to scrap everything manually. It should allow you to scrap pretty much everything in the settlement if you wish to do so. It has been a while since I used it. All you need to download at a minimum is the Sanctuary mod and the "Vilance's Library Plugin" mod.

I can get you 50% of the way there though. Download a program called xedit find dogmeat in the actors tab copy as override into a new plugin than just change his name. Cant help you with getting it onto an xbox though i dont own one to play/test my mods so i never bothered learning how to port mods to xbox

what kinda stuff are you looking to do CK wise?
I think to start I want to make quest which would probably require creating NPCs, giving them dialogue, setting up quest objectives, making a combat encounter, and maybe scripting events in the world. It's a lot but I kind of want to dip my toes in a bunch of things and makea simple quest that has all of these things in some capacity.
oh damn i never really dabbled into that so cant help much there, one thing i can say is you can for example download a simple quest mod from Nexus orso and see what it does under the hood so you know what to look for, quests are full of stages and so on you have to setup etc.
i mostly did weather mods and like annoyance fixes personally
I've seen some of the basics of creating a quest and it's stages but that's it. Maybe I'll have to look at some stuff in the game that's similar and try to reverse engineer it

Why do I keep getting kicked back to the main fallout menu when I'm trying to browse mods on Xbox? I was trying to look at "realistic bars" i press 'A' and it kicks me.
that means one of the images they used in the gallery is incompatible with the updated mod menu, its unfortunate but bethesda has always hired subpar coders and they have no intention of fixing it

i know how to make custom bgsm's but custom dds textures i need to figure out better because the game complains if its not a exact kind of dds, my custom retexture may work in nifskope/ outfit studio but not in engine
i use photoshop with the intel texture works plugin, more proffesional way is to use substance painter. all textures need to be multiples of 256, so like 1024, 2048, 4096 etc. BC7 compression for your diffuse, BC5 for normal/ Specular.

found out the hard way about the 256 thing lol the textures for a pack of squishmallow models i bought where 1000x1000 every time i fast traveled into a cell they where present in the game crashed. finially figgured out resizeing them fixed it

i think you can do it room bounds but im not 100% sure. roombounds are a little funky though cant see into them from outside and vice versa

i spent hours trying to place a prewar grass patch and i realized its a limit lol
for the African worldspace im working on now i usually use one of the riverbed silt textures for under the water, sand for the riverbanks, a custom texutre "congodirt" for roads and then "CongoWildgrass" for open areas and "congodeepjungle" for areas with heavy tree cover with prewarwildgrass to blend and im constantly running into the limit
yeah, it would be nice to have a f4se mod that bypasses that hard limit
theres this type of grass native to africa thats human height or taller i think its called sugar grass or something, i like to use that for the more open areas and then prewar grass to blend it into the roads because its shorter kinda how irl the bush around the roads would be trimmed back a little
you make a custom texture for the sugargrass and apply it to the ground materials?
so i have a mesh for the grass itself and than a custom landscape texture

i bought a pretty big pack of foliage models of a guy i found on cgtrader plus i have some smaller packs and individual models ive gotten
its not to bad you want to make sure its seamless and then you make a "textureset" in the ck and link that and grass objs to a landscape texture
i make all my own meshes but im heald back by texture workflow so i texture my models with existing materials in game
blur ans sharpen around edges, nobody will notice the seam /s
i dont really do any 3d modeling myself but ive bought a fair amount of assets and i do a bit of kitbashing and rextextures

thats kinda what i did with the whiteboard. i took a blank whiteboard asset i had, added a bunch of vanilla photo assets that i modifed to display screenshots ive previously done, added a map mesh with custom textures to reflect the borders in the lore for my mods, polaroid mesh i ported with more screenshots, lore doccuments with some exposition about factions/characters, a little notepad thing with investigators thoughts and a pin mesh to hold everything to the whiteboard

Bruh i spent 15 hrs alone doing stuff with mods, took 8 days to make a giant Halo ODST base, just for 2 weeks of not playing a mod was corrupted and now i have to redownload fo4 on Xbox AGAIN. And take ANOTHER 15 OR MORE HOURS TO FIND THEM AGAIN, ISTG IM FINNA BLOOD EAGLE SOMEONE.

might not fix bethesdas janky nature but i got my xbox load order setup in a text document with links to the mods in the working loadorder
you donāt have to re-download the entire game.
just delete the reserved space for fallout 4 and it will wipe your mods and let you back into the menu

Login to a different xbox account and boot fallout 4 on that account. Go to your mods and it should ask you to sign in to a bethesda account - don't do this. It should also let you access your load order, which you can then try to look through and see if you can identify which mod was removed from bethesda
It's a long shot but does avoid you having to remove them. It's usually quicker to just delete everything and redownload though if you aren't sure which mod was removed.
I had a mod idea to bring Intelligent Deathclaws to Fallout 4. Though I am not a mod creator. In Fallout 2, the Enclave used FEV on Deathclaws, and it made them intelligent. What if the Institute had a secret base that was conducting experiments on Deathclaws, as they viewed it as safer than doing it inside the main base? Just think of seeing Deathclaws in the tubes like the super mutant, and there would be a questline to either free them or destroy them. If you free them, they will be thankful, but ask if you can help them out since they know that most people would just shoot them or flee. They would like to have a home/a base to call their own. It would give the player a new building location, new items related to DeathClaws, and the Intelligent Deathclaws. It's just an idea though.

I saw New Equipment Overhaul (NEO) touted as not needing the "problematic" AWKCR anymore, as an alternative to Unified Clothing Overhaul, which i used on Xbox One a lot. Wondered if AWKCR wasn't as recommended on next gen or not. I am new to next gen, finally bought a Series X. š
Seemed like some people thought AWKCR was no longer in favor. Glad to hear it is! I think I am going to get rid of NEO and go back to my comfort zone with AWKCR and UCO. Haha...

yeah, ive used it for years too, without issues on PC. worst case it brought some bloat, but when i got 400+ mods its almost nothing compared to the other ones. on PC theres a hub that has all the patches so you can avoid using it, if a specific mods asks for AWKCR. could be something similar on xbox too if you really need it

No, you pretty much have to research it yourself and then see if the mod/patch is there. The search function returns all sorts of crap you aren't looking for, though. Creativity in search terms and patience usually win out. Haha

plus a ton of mods that are more specific. I have a list of some workshop mods I personally use but you need more specifics like what style youre aiming for
cVc dead wasteland is good as I believe it either adds in stuff fromprevious fallout games as workshop items or has workshop items that fit vanilla but isnt from any other game.
Project mojave workshop pack has stuff from new vegas and theres a fallout 3 version called the capital wasteland pack I think.
sandbag fortifications adds in some military looking defenses and decorations like sandbags (obviously).
better armory mod is just stuff to make a dope armory.
oppressors workshop I belive is a lesser know mod but it adds a alot of higher quality decorations. The nexus file is like 5-6 gigs while the full patreon version is about 15, lots of stuff.
simple modular housing adds stuff in for making better more custom detailed houses.

Just beware that the more you add to your workshop menu, the longer your workshop bootup takes. If you add all the major big ones like snappy, snapnbuild, uso and soe, workshop can take up to 19 seconds to boot up more or less. This is not a problem for pc thanks to script extender

The issue persists even after all mods that could possibly affect camera angles (ITPCC, A Touch of Life) have been disabled and a full restart performed. Pressing the button that would normally switch between POVs just results in stuttering on-screen, and me staying in 3rd person.

Uninstalling mods mid playthrough is not supported, a game save that has mods removed from the load order is borked / destroyed.
Weather you are on pc or console, there are TONS of dog texture mods. I would suggest getting a mod closest to your dogs breed if not exact breed. Such mods are free, but creation club also has a pretty big dog collection I have seen as well. I would just go on nexus or bethesda and type in breed name. See what comes up.

The problem (which I was able to replicate) came when I tried to use ITPCC for the first time in a playthrough, within the crafting area of a settlement. Those two things do not play nicely together, apparently.
I uninstalled ITPCC through the in-game uninstaller, deleted the mod, then restarted my game fresh/deleted all saves that had ITPCC enabled in them. I reinstalled the mod and configured it normally, and now everything works as intended - even within settlements.
Just in case anyone else runs into this bug - ITPCC is a really handy mod that I would have missed had I needed to go without.

i tried installing vortex but it said it couldnt install part of it because of windows firewall, so i disabled it and it still doesnt work. im trying to install the "too many nukes" mod but i cant figure out how to use vortex, when i try to install the mod with it it just says installing and never actually finishes. do i NEED vortex or a mod manager because im just interested in this one mod, not a whole bunch

a mod you are using got deleted by either Bethesda theselves or the Author from Bethnet and thats why you cant enter the mod menu, this is a problem since the next gen 'update' over a year ago and bethesda just does not care about fixing it, you can enter the mod menu again when you clear your reserved space on xbox but you will have to redownload and order all your mods except the removed one ofcourse

It looks like there are many ways that quest can fail, and many solutions, context dependent. Maybe why the mod author left this one alone. I for one would not know how to execute all the required fixes in a PS mod. Maybe itās not possible.

Im kinda new to discord not sure how to contact the modder directly. But my issue is kind of weird. I already looted the secret compartment and then met ness, told her I already looted it with the dialog option and it didn't give me the quest then. but the area now infinitly respawns all the containers instantly. Im guessing since I didn't do thr quest it won't be marked cleared and it glitched the containers. I dont mind the random enemy encounters that happen there. But I want to have the containers stop respawning and have the area marked cleared.
Also wouldn't mind the xp from it. Im a completionist to the max. I also modded it so that survival mode is super difficult and need all the xp I can get. Lolol

The issue is seem to be having is the quest won't appear. Despite meeting ness. I also had already fully looted the crash site including the secret compartment since I had master lockpicking. I guess what im hoping for is just to force the miscellaneous quest to completion so I can have the area marked complete. As without it being marked complete the containers infinitly respawn instantly which is way to cheesy. And im obsessive completionist

I'm the author of that mod, but it doesn't have any quests. It helps you fix other quests. Maybe you're mixing it up with another mod? Or maybe I'm misunderstanding.

Yep, I understand. One of the main reasons I made Holotape of Quest-Fixing (and Ring (and Scrolls) of Quest-Fixing for Skyrim, and Scrolls of Quest-Fixing for Starfield) is just so I can get all these dead quests out of my quest log. If BGS would just add a feature to let us cancel quests at our own risk, I could save a lot of time š
(granted, PC allows console commands and XBox has quest debuggers due to external assets being allowed, but that's not necessarily user-friendly for all users)

Not sure but fusion cores don't last long at all in survival so that's kind of a trade off.

When making such a request, you might want to add some specifics of your preffered gameplay style. What kind of stuff are you seeking? What i like to do is browse the most popular trending mods, or most endorsed for categories of interest to get an idea of what everyone is doing. I use mo2. I love it.
i want something that adds more vaults, as i feel they are the coolest part of all fallout games, maybe some horror aspects, i plan to add follower tweaks as they have an option to autobuild settlements, and it's always much better than i can build them, i have a specific character build i love using so I'm hesitant to add anything that changes the perk system, unless it's to give a higher max level and/or the ability to fully max everything out
I did not find a mod that adds multiple vaults off the bat. You would have to add those mods one by one. I have not downloaded this one, but If I did use a mod for vault 88, it would be this transfer settlement for sure. Sounds like you will also want simsettlements. As far as horror aspects, there are plenty of options there too like making things pitch black, extra ghouls and new terrible looking creatures. Just browse nexus. not exactly breaking the bank, but they are so flipping common that it would indeed make a neat and tidy profit
these are all the mods i currently have installed, i was focusing on performance before content, and tried to start a new game to make sure it's running better, but now it freezes on starting a new game, then crashes, i checked buffout 4 logs cause it's supposedly got a crash log, but it doesn't log anything
there are 2 others that aren't listed, F4SE and plugin preloader, because i had to install those manually
and i already modified the preloader config as instructed, first to OnThreadAttach, then when that didn't work, to OnProcessAttach, which finally allowed me to even LAUNCH the game, anyone got any advice? whether that's how to fix my issues, or whether to scrap all these and choose different and/or better ones, i am all ears, much love to any that can assist, even minutely ā¤ļø
okay, so update, it's not crashing on new game, it's just crashing after a short time, regardless if i leave it on the main menu or not

Since you are next gen, your version of buffout should be "Buffout NG". They are two different mods. Plugin preloader must be in your games root data folder. Once buffout ng is working, baka is no longer needed because it is built into buffout ng.
^ In addition to what marky said, that should apply even if you downgraded the exe (for F4SE plugin support)
With that said, really wish the F4SE plugin landscape had caught up fully by now

none that i use sorry, i like the vanilla gauss rifle, plenty powerful (at least for me) if you set up your character the right way, you dont start to encounter it until level 30 tho
until i hit level 30 i use a varity of whatever i find, mostly try to stick to shotguns
tho my character rarely ever is set up correctly by level 30 because i always randomize my special using a randomizer
im keeping vanilla weapons for now, probable gonna aim for pickmans blade

TBH, apart from whether they are suppressed, weapons themselves donāt have any stealth characteristics as such. They just have⦠weapon characteristics. Apart from suppression, all the stealth characteristics are on the player, not the weapon.

Everyone's load orders can vary so much. Mods I use are mainly for settlement building and AAF. If yours is all weapon mods and environment related stuff, than I am probably not the best person to ask. But here is some advice and this is what I keep in mind each time I am doing my load order. Try to put like mods, with like mods. Ask yourself "what does this mod do?" and look at those templates and then decide where it might be most appropriate. Some mods it gets a little confusing because there are multi purpose mods, but use your best judgement.
mainly what i mean is mellee weapons are fine, but there's not really a lot of options for something like suppressed snipers that i know of

I'd say it looks fine; load order really only matters for overwrites (especially for mods like body and face textures and other body mods, I tend to have issues with those the most), i.e. loading a mod you want to overwrite another lower on the order. just group similar mods together using mod categories, which I believe are auto assigned from nexus.
if you want a wacky gun, make a minigun that shoots mininukes, idk if the mod youre using allows you to do that, but ik that cheat room mod has that + a couple other fun weapons
will 100% crash your game fast if you arent careful tho

if you have the DLC, and want access to the things that are from the DLC, then yes, if you just have the base game, or dont care about the DLC items, then you should be fine as the modified guns are in the base mod
