Yes, I agree. I grew up in rural Illinois. Squirrels (and Chipmunks) were all over the place. We even had Flying Squirrels. I loved seeing them race across the back yard and fearlessly leap from branch to branch. We have a few Squirrels where I live now, but not very many. These pictures really bring back memories of my childhood. ❤️

and no never, and trust me sharks will let you know almost right away if there is any stray current entering the water! the pump i use is intended for submerged use in a fish enviroment...sealed very well and no metal parts exposed to water!

Going off topic, but worth expanding. I owned large fish for years, part of a serious club of pond owners, and we used round portable tanks like yours as sick tanks and for our public shows.
We also never used any submersibles where fish could get near them. Eddy currents can be induced through plastic housings into salt water (I'm assuming yours is a salt water tank), and even double insulated pumps can have grounding issues and cause stray current to flow around them. If the pump is low voltage DC, you're probably okay.

Hey! So I have been keeping large fish for most of my life, and in addition work for one of the largest public aquariums in the country.
In my experience those who experience eddy current problems have one of two problems going on.
The first is that they are using pumps designed to be submerged but NOT designed to be near fish.
The second is that they are using a cheaply manufactured pump product. The companies that manufacture fish-safe submersible pumps are very good at what they do and use the same sealing techniques that are used to seal wave-makes, skimmers, reactors and heaters from putting current into the water.

We have wild Rabbits on our property here in Pennsylvania. I love seeing them hop around. They are great little creatures to have around. But I have to be very careful when I do yard work in the summer, to avoid accidentally harming young bunnies who hide in bushes and holes in the ground and suddenly dart in front of clippers or lawnmower. I've developed the habit of making loud noises and disturbing the grass ahead of my lawnmower before I push it forward to make them run away to safety before I get too close.

Depends on their age. Most places I've worked at won't allow unspayed/non-neutered dogs into playgroups past 6 months old for that very reason

Sorry for your loss. It's always hard to lose a loved pet no matter how many years it has been with you. It if was for 15 years with you, or even only for a year or two. The grief is hard to bear. I know that from personal experience. Lost three cats: one in 2017 at the age of 17 1/2 due to chronic kidney failure, one in 2018 at the age of 10 during a surgery while he was under anasthesia (heart failure) and the last one i lost at the end of 2022 at the age of 14 1/2 due to lung cancer.

I just rescued this kitty last Sunday, heard him meowing desperately late at night (2:00am) on the street. Barely 2 months old, tiny boy, fits in the palm of my hand.
Found him hidden between the wheel/tyre and the fender on a car parked in the street. Poor guy was starving and was it was literally flesh on bones.
Next day I just washed him over and found out he was full plagued of lice. I took him to the vet, medic dewormed him with a medicine and also he gave me a lice powder bottle.
He's much better now. Lices are gone. The boy is very eager and eating like the is no future. Very gentle and tender guy.
