As far as i know, Blades is device independent, so there's no distinction between switch-guilds and mobile guild. I think you can even play on both platforms and have the progress shared

It seems all we can do is keep trying. We know they are listening because we see responses at times from great people like @buoyant mulch but we don’t know who the decision makers are and what reservations they have. I love the Halloween atmosphere they incorporate - I think it would be cool if for holidays they give us some repeatable questlines - kind of like in GW2, ESO, etc. They're the same questline/event every year, but it's fun

Like Guild Wars 2 does the mad king even every year - quest lines that give trick or treat bags, etc. It would be cool if Bethesda gave us some sort of witches whatever event yearly, a quest line to save villages and slay the witch or something, and we get gems, pots, or armor/weapons mats

I think I've only played that event on ESO once or twice - I stopped my heavy ESO playing a year or two ago

But the mad king event in guild wars 2 is still just as dope as every year

I doubt it will happen, but I'm crossing my fingers that we will get a mega dump of updates soon

It certainly deserves it, it has such potential, yet it's dragged down by its overly simplified combat and limited player interaction. If they made it more akin to the usual Elder Scrolls style by allowing you to move in combat and making the magic and skills satisfying instead of waiting for the character to feel like dodging despite his stamina being full it'd be much more fun. It'd likely never happen but that added player interaction, being able to trade and PM people even outside of your guild, visit their towns at the same time so you can see each other and go on Co-op missions, especially with guildmates would be wonderful.

From the perspective of someone who plays their sort of classical games(main line TES games), it's good for a few months, after that I'd probably just uninstall it as they haven't done any new quests in years now

It has some good quests and fun moments, but ultimately unless you like the live content of the arena and the event stuff, it's not much for you to enjoy after base content is done. But if you like that stuff, more power to you because you'll enjoy it for way longer

The connection in the arena has been worse for most players recently, often unplayable. Did Bethesda downgrade their servers for blades since they seem to be no longer dedicating development resources to it? This game had so much potential. So many ways to monetize it too since I know Bethesda is a company and won’t put resources into a game that isn’t making money

No dual app needed with the recent update to the Play Store which let's you create multiple Play profiles using a new Google email address. Once you do that you select the Blades app and set it so that each time you log in it'll ask you which profile you want to use... Easy peasy.

O, and remember on your alt that once you pass level 13 you can no longer get the lower level artifacts so maybe hang out for a bit under that level and keep grinding chests if that kind of thing interests you.

Yes, but i don't know how to do that. If I play arena or do Abyss runs for chests, my XP will rise and i level up. Only if wait for weekly Gold Chest or collect for 25 days arena free gems rewards and buy a legendary chest. And not to mention the odds to get an artifact from them. Only if I spend real money 🤑

Nah. Just let the XP rise. Don't hit the button and you'll not level up. If you hit it by accident, don't pick magicka or stamina, force close the app. Restart and all good.

As a general rule my alchemy professor taught that blue potions are environmentally-friendly and pose no threat to the native plant life or the air-quality on Nirn. The same with green poisons. The worst potions and poisons are silver or clear (i.e. involving shock). This is part of the reason why the Aldmeri Dominion is hated so much in my opinion. Especially by spriggans.

I’m now offering options to my arena customers today only. Anyone who comes to the arena to fight me can now choose which type of defeat they want receive.
Option #1: A glorious defeat packed with crowd fanfare and emotes
Option #2: A quick and uneventful defeat
Because when it comes to losing in the arena… everyone should have a choice.

IT IS NOT MANDATORY TO JOIN GGs - anyone can play! If you want your matches to count toward Player of the Week honors, though, you need to either join GGs AND post your matches in the FFA channel, or DM me within 30 minutes of the end of the event.

IT IS NOT MANDATORY TO JOIN VOICE CHAT! GG rules apply to the voice channel as well - be respectful, say GGs, the usual. I (or any of the moderators or GMs) will boot without hesitation if someone goes off the rails! You do NOT need to be in voice chat to participate in FFA!!

This is going to sound stupid but how do I find secrets in Blades? Are there specific if not obscure interactable objects I'm trying to find or is it tapping on walls and such until something opens?

The interactive objects have highlights on them

once you find one or two, you'll notice the pattern. On forest jobs, there is usually a shack with a skull-head pole nearby. In cave jobs there is a wall with a lever sticking out. In castle jobs there is usually a big room and a wall with a lever. In crypt jobs there will be a medium size room with a crystal that glows.

It has a rather lackluster UI system. It's also proprietary, doesn't run well on mobile, and it causes internal disconnect when communicating about internal systems for the games

yes you can! I'm sitting at level 59 with a handful of levels held. I am thinking that the Sigil Events get much harder if you are a higher level. I think the only reason to level farther is to get better drops from jobs, but I think I am getting everything I need at my current level.

If you can beat this game in a month or 2 you're over playing. It won't have enough content for you, it's a free mobile app. I played for 2 years myself and started a whole new game and took 4 months just to beat the story line again. Most players take longer than that to beat the story unless knowing everything to do. It's fun and I'd recommend it to any new players.

We had a new "Xmas" event quest last month, but I am not sure any new Ultimate item has been published since Skyrim10 was released. I can't see the LTultimates anymore, though, so there might be more.

That being said, updates have been rolled out at a roughly monthly rythm, usually at the beginning of each month, so we might soon hear about a January update, I guess.

Heavy - breathtaker, captain kordon, sunderblade, maul of aureal, spiderfang, storm kiss (6)
Versatile - thunderfell, baridan, serpentstrike, lichslayer, mephala (5)
Light - Witsplinter (1), with one decent secondary on a weapon a player may use once a month if at all.

Please tell me why this game hates light weapon players. Notice that not a single one of the 11 weapons for heavy and versatile has a reduce maximum health secondary.

We have other bugs to point out @buoyant mulch, as long as the team is willing to listen. Fixing these issues would go a long way toward retaining the player base

My guess is- the bigger the disparity between your "good" internet and the other guy's "bad" internet, the more you get penalized. Lowest common denominator

they get to land all of their hits before me. If we hit at the same time, their damage hits me before mine hits them. If they have retaliation, I take retaliation from my own weapon before my weapon ever even hits them.

I like the idea of being able to work together in dungeons-like multi-player outside of the arena. Like your guild or another type of "team" you can join to defeat quests/dungeons together &/OR have team arena brawls or outright guild battle-like guild vs. guild in the gladiator arena!

Blades is the only online play game I play. I always play single player in Dark Souls, etc. In other words: This would be and already is the only online multi-player game I play!

AND there could be another leaderboard for team/guild group fighting!
& having group practice mode would be cool...at least among guildmates.

May I suggest extending arena season for two months from one? Some players might not be happy with that so I suggest to call the end of the first month a midseason and give all rewards but keep all scores for another month? And at the end of the second month call it Grand Finale or something and give another set of rewards? That change would be great for many more casual players like me.

And Second i know a lot of people including myself who love their artifacts and use them because of unique effects, yeah you can beat the game with just the best sword but you can have fun playing it other ways. There are Level 100 players who never touch the arena. And i mentioned removing of the levelcap because i think it is an easy way to give the players a lot of content.

I use my Onyx Blade a lot and some players use their Chillrend or Dawnbreaker for their builds

Its just fun exploring concepts outside of the "box"

And Stalhrim/ Ancient Weapons and Saint/ Madness Equipment is already in the game, so why not make it part of the gear rotation in the sigil store. In my mind super easy to give players acess to🤷‍♂️ I hope someone in charge reads my comments🙌

like many artifacts, if you don't get it by a certain level, you never will. The folks in support were letting some players buy it with green gems, but they shut that down. So endgame players will still not be able to get many artifacts because they have levelled past them.

So i am proposing an "adopt-a-guild" program where veteran players can mentor and sponsor up-and-coming guilds and help grow the game for players who are not in one of the super-guilds

THIS. In fact, Airyus put up a pretty decent vid on the subreddit. I guess a lot of "youtubers" gave typical loudmouth youtube reviews early on, and that probably hurt the game early on.

Lucky for me I tune out people who just yell all the time, didn;t listen to the reviews, and played it for myself

It's too bad that not many of the active playerbase are big streamers, else the game would get more attention.

I did a reinstall and I can no longer open Blades on my Fold 3, despite removing Web Services and Speech Services the game won't go past the boot sequence, just hangs. I have reinstalled, rebooted etc a few times to no avail. Is anyone aware of any other fixes? I have managed to use my old Note 20 and load both characters (without updating that phone's software).

No, even when only 3 house you at least have tavern with singin bard, even with out town you find tavern... 🥺But there you build your town but no tavern in... Just one with singin bard no need to make it as true Shop or make it sell potion, pie, cabbage to eat while quest ... But a town with out tavern, serouisly and what my citizen do at night, how they get drunk...

When skull lvl grow to high on quest, Just close your game wait few hour it will goes back down, and yes out of if you pay(like all mobile game) it take time to grow, doing task, abysse, évent help a lot to reach strength requiered in quest high lvl, so you have to repeat same thing each day and acknowledge on what you grow what you spend... Like for exemple no heal magic, but you get heal ability with Green skill... So better up first as warrior grow magic after, same cannot hit from far magic become barely useless in true, shield and good weapon become best you got in that game 😬

there are "walls" as you level up, where your gear/skills are not up to the task of the jobs you have. There are many ways to get over the hump when you hit them:

1. All mobs have specific weaknesses, whether to a weapon type (slash/cleave/bash) or element. Use this to your advantage.
2. All mobs have fairly predictable damage types, whether it's physical or elemental. Learn these, and you can beat even the toughest mobs with garbage for gear. If a particular monster is killing you, odds are good you can mitigate their damage with a little thought into the gear you use or the skills/spells you use
3. Get good at the Abyss at whatever level you are at - you should always be able to do a 4(ish) floor abyss run for a gold chest in 5 minutes or less. This will help you accumulate cash and mats to level up your town and fill in missing pieces of gear

A parry to the side skill is a neat skill is idea. Bears are awkward over powered beast in jobs. Exaust weapon or fire weapon with a fire ball has worked most efficiently for me.
