I wield heavy for the Abyss. A collection of Breaching Greatswords and Daedric Plate. I can play from Floor 130 and get kicked out Floor 148. (18 floors past recommended is the limit in the Abyss)

But most of the time, I spam Floor 149, over and over and over. Lost in the grind... ☺️

When I first made it to 150, I think I was lvl55? I ran around all the Liches. Or left and tried again for "not Liches" to keep inchworming my way further.
Once I got there, I kept practicing and building until I could mow everything down. :)

Buying Chests has stopped being worth it a long time ago. They literally nerfed all of them throughout the updates but never reduced the prices of chests. So you're paying the same price for a strictly worse loot box.

Buy 20 "assured" rings (double imbuement) and you'll be lucky to get just 1 usable ring for high level Arena, the 19 other rings will be "assured trash"...half of them because the random spells aren't the ones you want (ok, slap Vampire on those for PvE) and the other half cos they're ruined by crit health stuff...assured trash is still trash, and it's even worse odds for "assured" armor and weapons...

That's too bad. I've made peace with no-bonus heavy combat enchant weapons. Mostly because they can still have massive power with the jewelry to back them up. That's PvE though - Arena really needs weapon bonuses to compete. 😔

No regular PvE for me, for a year before sigils I played zero PvE, now I only do the tediously boring sigil jobs

Weapons and shields have the least amount of chance at 2 secondaries IIRC. Hence why the blank sigil skin weapons are a real rip off. You already have a low chance to even get 2 on them, and then you're still left with a complete lottery in terms of what those 2 will be.

In the good old days Severio was more agreeable but then dragonbones, gems, even imp stool was in short supply..2 lvl 10 smithies were required for top guilds - not anymore

While on the subject. Why do I have to do this boring stroll for soul gems twice a day? I love the option of being able to visit the towns of my mates, but I don't want to feel forced into doing this boring stroll everyday. If I want that, I'll play Pokémon Go or any other augmented reality game.

My rough estimate -circa 10000 play Arena at least once in a season ( I once sat back with 50 trophies for a while and was 9800th place.) Maybe same number or less for PvE. Altogether circa 20000 somewhat active players. That number corresponds well with reddit channel..

TES Legends Fall of the Dark Brotherhood takes place sometime in 4E 188 right before the invasion of the Corsairs that destroyed the Wayrest Sanctuary, while TES Blades takes place in 4E 180, 8 years prior to that

So this is why it would be cool to see how the Brotherhood was hanging right before that huge fall (which takes a turning point in Skyrim)

^^ THIS. One of the things I love about one of the other games I play is that they publish about 8 months of a loose roadmap of things they’re planning. Items shift around periodically, but in general, it’s fairly accurate, and the players have stuff to look forward to.

Other than that, I don't know if you're responsible for blades but maybe you can forward it. In the first big entrance hall of the current event Deaths Shadow, there is a wall clipping issue letting you observe a bit of the big beautiful void, it's in the right corner of the big room if you look at the secret wall.

And now give me the legendary chest I obviously deserve for reporting this minor issue that surely disturbed everyone's Gameplay and is so bad, the world is going to collapse upon us.

I found another clipping error in the room with 1 necromancer, 1 ghost before the 2nd secret room

And shading issues in the hall with the boss, right to the stairs.

But here's the basics - health is TRIPLED for arena play, and so are health Primary enchants. Best bet is to go 3X health to start

Use potions, shields, spells to protect against elemental damage if necessary

And be prepared to get your face smashed in A LOT until you get the hang of it. Then you'll get your fash smashed in more, but it willbe more entertaining

Get yourself some health armors for sure - you can enchant at 1 under max for armors if you are in a hurry, without losing too much. otherwise, do max enchants. Look for secondaries like physical or spell resist, or shorten conditions. +Healing and critical health bonuses are not very helpful in the arena

But health armors are also good for PvE - warmasters, mercenaries, trolls, spiders, etc. Also, the more health you have, the harder it is for elemental damage to condition you, so for Necromancers i usually wear 1 frost resist and 2 health pieces, spiders 1 poison and 2 health, etc

Yes - conditioning is based on a percent of your max health. Which is why you shouldn;t wear elemntal resist pieces in the arena

I'd love a lot of things to be added honestly, a way to get folks like Murbak to leave or at least move so he doesn't insult me when I need repairs, Guild Co-op missions, a ranged option other than slow fireball and acceptable but undamaging lightning bolt (bows?), the ability to interact with people outside a Guild and visit their Town, the ability to see every player currently moving through a Town, the ability to trade equipment and gold with people inside and outside of your clan, more clothing options, a helmet that can actually accomodate a beast race's face (Dwarven Plate Helmet on an Argonian gives me man in the iron mask vibes), the ability to disenchant items to get the item back in case your one of a kind weapon or armour comes up with bad enchantments, a better chance of getting incredibly useful side effects of enchants through use of more soul gems or even letting us choose to have one of the useful side enchants as the main one so I can have a better healing from food and potions on something else, the option to get 4-5 enchants like the randomly dropped enchanted items, so many more.

It used to be fair for every Blades player around the world when it was Saturday 10.00am to midnight ET. I still have not used my Foresworn Greatsword yet because of its "display issue". The character is holding the weapon by the pommel, and because there's so much empty grip showing, during gameplay, it looks like a spear is equipped instead of a greatsword.

I HOPE they fix it, because its extremely annoying to me that all other greatswords, the character holds by the grip with both hands, but the Foresworn Greatsword is held by the character, 1 hand on the grip, 1 hand on the pommel.

Yes, a spear weapon does sound cool, but in the instance with this greatsword (since the character holds the very bottom possible of the weapon) the very tip of the weapon is never visible in game. (apart for like a half second during the swing motion)
Swinging a spear but only having occasional glimpses of the tip, would be a bummer. :pensive:

Looks like it comes as a quest from Saasha not Junius. Junius is the first step in the quest. I'm guessing that Sasha won't give the quest until I've done "The Old Enchanter" and "Ghost's Tale" quests since they seem related. The map prerequisite line are not connected between those quest lines but it would make sense they need to be done first.

Yeah, as far as I've heard you should avoid the arena until level 75 or so as it doesn't rank matches to level or skill properly and I don't want my gear shredded by a level 88 Daedric clad guy with Sunderblade and dying in 1 hit.

I wouldn't worry about that. I think around lvl 35 you can start being competitive, to a point, and you can win lots of goodies and coin. The match ranking needs work, to be sure, but I'd say 75% of the time they do alright. As far as shredding gear, that's a non-issue as you just visit the smithy and repair it. Because you are rewarded with coins, even when you lose, repairing gear ends up not costing you anything. I'm at lvl 50, and I routinely beat opponents with +10-15 lvl. Give it a shot, you may be surprised.

There are multiple tiers of arena, and especially a couple weeks into the season, player levels are fairly sorted. In the lower tiers, there are many players who don't have great gear, so you shouldn't worry about it. Give it a try!

I have a feeling you might be overestimating me given I'm too prone to flubbing skill usage in combat, using the skill recharge one first by accident then wasting dodges and getting slapped by power attacks and skullbreakers to the point of losing large amounts of health and that's against AI.

I'm not judging anyone's skill, but I can say that the arena is a good place to hone your ability. In the lower tiers, you naturally face less skilled opponents with lower quality gear. Another bonus is receiving lots of chests, and gear to boot.

I use wall of fire and lightning storm early in the fight, with absorb to help avoid losing too much health. Then, I use stamina dodges to avoid having my skull crushed or getting bashed by a shield. Using stamina or Magicka weapons and shields, usually one of each, can help you negate your opponents ability to use such attacks against you. I also use elemental damage, usually with a complementing shield. For instance, a frost weapon and a Magicka shield, or a shock weapon and a stamina shield. Maybe try that and see if it helps you out.

When you said Absorb I thought you meant Siphon Life for a second and was wondering how you got it. I haven't used it at all myself given how slow the cooldown is compared to just slicing with a hand axe... Man it gets complicated for someone like me, I have a processing delay you see so I have to guess when I should Adrenaline Dodge so I can get some health back without doing it too late and whiffing it. Didn't have so much issue with Dark Souls' parrying but I guess you get more practice and retrys from respawning enemies there before it moves onto harder things while here it drops you into a clearwater ocean and expects you to float.

Everyone will experience bad ping due to the fact that the player base is small and matchmaking forces us to fight each other intercontinentally.

There are times when both players can get good ping but that depends on how far away you guys are from each other (even then ive heard of some people still getting bad ping but I’m pretty sure that’s not the norm).

This season and last season, I had some good matches that I recorded... then when I watched the video (trying to learn from my mistakes) I noticed my ping was in the "orange" range. (I apparently don't notice it at the time of the actual fight.)

Its fights where there's LOSS (a swing goes through them there's no number, I press potion/RE or strikes and nothing happens) that has me thinking, "I'm gonna see what some Spriggans are up to in the forest after this match.". 😬

How many Wizard's Tower quests are available? I messed up twice on the second one but finished all the secrets third try and haven't seen any more so I hope I've not been locked out of any content because adding questions in games where running out of battery usually means punishment make me not think things through very well. Also why are there so many banners for settlements/areas in Skyrim like the College of Winterhold but no banners for locations in Cyrodiil, considering how close the latter is meant to be to the playable area? They're pretty simple designs honestly, especially those of Bruma/Kvatch. Having the option to make one of Anvil would be nice.

Might just be my personal opinion, but in answer to your banners question. It may just be those designs were closer to hand as it where. Consider the overall aesthetic of the game, weapon and armour, enemy and overall location design is based, as far as I can tell, mainly off Skyrim. Meaning they could have just transferred a lot of the skin programming straight from it, ergo ready, easy banners.

From what I've heard, the best items are Barridan's Axe and Serpentstrike

Akaviri Blade and Stormcaller are low tier ultimate items, which are equal in strength to ebony

Umbra, if released, would be an artifact, and therefore obtainable on chests instead of through the sigil store

Divine versions of items are exclusively available in the Sigil Store

They'll pop up periodically but there're so many that it might take a long time to actually see one you want

A large number of them are cosmetic "heavy armor" items equivalent to Dragonplate rather than Dragonscale, so there's no reason to get them (beyond cosmetic) so they sort of just clog up the sigil store if you don't really want a different skin on Dragonplate

Hey @Bethesda guys. Can you unblock the sigil store all the time? It can only help the game.

Another suggestion I’ve sent in several times… can it be added so we replay the main quest? You could base enemy level off of player level and unique item drops could be based off of player inventory. Just an idea.

This game had a really cool approach to that. You could reset the main storyline up to 5 times I think it was, and each pass through got harder. Instead, save up for the max level Divine stuff - although you could get max level secondaries on Assured Imbuement stuff, the AR will be pretty low for your level.

The single biggest perk to a guild is when it comes to materials. You can shop at everyone’s vendors, which means a full guild of high level enchanters could yield on average 8-30 grand soul gems per day

Definitely join an active guild. Shop in stores, yes, but also get a bunch of folks to help you figure stuff out. The in game chat is awful, though so make sure you get into one with a Discord channel.

This is why random chance is an awful system for enchantments, you might finally get an extra enchantment or two but you may not get the ones you truely wanted like more health from food items, improve main enchantment, more damage when enemies are under a status effect etc. which really stifles builds as not everyone has hundreds of transcendant soul gems lying around. Big suggestion: offer enchanted items or enchantable items with set extra enchants at regular blacksmiths or the Sigil store.

Living artifacts. When you're 50+, then you get those stats. Below 50, it's based on your level -- maybe 3/sec at level 1, 19/sec at level 25, etc. Make them useful and level-appropriate no matter when you get them.

I prefer Blades PvE over PvP myself. One reason,

7 PvE opponents: A colorful Spriggan, a giant Troll, a little Wisp, a humongous Dragon, a horrifying Giant Spider, a vicious Mercinary, a hellish Dremora

7 PvP opponents: another player, another player, another player, another player, another player, another player, another player

You're missing a load of PVE opponents honestly, Wispmothers, Skeletons, Liches, Goblins, humanoid opponents in armour etc. That and you can't loot the arena grounds and look for chests there.

It wouldn't be surprising if they used all of the existing CC stuff as "baseline" content. But that also leads to there being some CC content that I wouldn't want to touch that would be included.

Perhaps we'll get a way to turn them on and off easily though, so that I can play without the zombie pack getting involved, or turn off a CC item that I've got a better mod for.

I've done it, and they don't redownload until you go in and ask for them to be redownloaded.

But it's clumsy doing it manually.

But imagine the launcher having a "activate/deactivate CC content" menu before it launches to the game menu.

Or even being able to go into the CC tab on the main menu, and having "disable* options in there.

First, if you are in a guild, you will want to LEAVE THE GUILD before linking your character. Linking WHILE in a guild can break the guild and cause your GM to have to start a new guild and everyone would need to leave and rejoin the new guild. This has happened at least 3 times in our guilds.
In game, go into the menu, and choose the gear at the bottom of the screen.
Then scroll down until you see the button that says "Link Account".
Once you are done, rejoin your guild.

If you have already linked, you should see a "Connection" section in the settings list.

Not quite, though those would potentially be good too. In my mind, loadouts denote a set of equipment used for at least 1 life or so that can only be changed upon your death or returning to a resupply locker, meaning you'd have to either die or run back to the entrance several times when facing enemy types with different weaknesses like Thalmor and Dremora.
