Yep, exactly right. The institute was an enemy that had to be in one game. As much as they want their return they cannot physically rebuild unless regressing in tech, like no pre war fabricators needed to build synths exist outside of MIT. They have to start from scratch if they want to rebuild.

I ran some mods where I wanted to RP the Soul Survivor being in the cyro pod for a lot longer than 200 years.. Basically a second nuclear war happens and wipes out all that is left of humanity and I ran some mods that allowed me to do it.. There was no human NPCs in my playthrough, it was a nuclear winter and cold and heavily survival based and looter shooter type play through.. Tons of synths and robots.. It's basically terminator at this point..

Problem is that creation engine isn’t modern by even 2019 standards so I wouldn’t be surprised if issues from updates on fallout 4 stem from new Bethesda workers trying to use an outdated engine, that’s why Starfield runs so poorly on consoles, it uses the creation engine with modifications to it that the engine was never designed to work with (that’s why the rover acts like Skyrim horses too 😭)

Yeah you can think of it like this, the creation engine was a car Bethesda bought, they liked it so they spent some money got it tuned up swapped some rusty parts out then when everyone else was upgrading Bethesda said that’s way to expensive and besides I like mine already, so they paint over the aging car with mismatched new and old parts until you reach a point where not even a new coat of paint can disguise the mess of wires and parts underneath and not even a mechanic can figure out which part is which. That’s essentially what Bethesda has done and why fallout NV to 4 looks different

And slowly introducing the different paid mods I had one at a time and making sure I have a save before installing them so I know which one is doing it although I'm probably not going to use Painted Plasma Guns because I'm pretty sure that mod doesn't even work...

If anything the Creations are new but the Old CC stuff are more than likely the perpetrators as they are horribly buggy at times

Well none of the creation clubs really broke my game too much before I started buying paid mods and not even some of the paid mods broke my game until I bought 3 new ones painted plasma gun(a scam), the Mr gutsy backpack (oh really cool mod that I hope isn't the problem), and the bounty Hunter mod (mod that I really also hope is it the cause)

After all the only reason why I downloaded it was because I thought I would be able to customize any old plasma gun but no you got to get specially founded variance of the plasma gun called painted plasma gun to be able to customize it at all which is incredibly scam like

So even if the painted plasma gun isn't the culprit I'm still not going to download it in any of my other playthroughs because it's absolutely useless and it really should be banned off the validated creators because it's literally a scam

As someone who’s enjoying the creations they need content checkers or smth before they just allow anyone to sell stuff. Because if your making a mod that can be done for free and theres better rival paid mods like mr gutsy jett pack why bother. Also ive noticed high quality paid mods have names like goblin productions and the Daniel remnant one has like Otenillo Mitchell (Which is a highly reputable guy) then stuff like that plasma stuff are labelled under Connor. Some guy called Connor (Im using Connor as an example name) in his basement just managed to scam 8 bucks out of genuinely interested people.

It turns out it was a scam and this was before mods came to Minecraft this was when you could get those horrible Addons like the MC story mode pack when it was still available like pre 2020s. Because it's an actual backpack I was kind of hoping it would be better than the creation Club backpack... But because I can actually modify the creation Club backpack with legendaries it's kind of not really better, also the legendary effect mod I have allows me to use all of the vanilla mods in both the games base mode and the DLC including the barbarian loincloth legendary effect you will not know how great being able to modify a bunch of armor pieces with that legendary is!!!

Daniel should be made canon he actually clears all the other companions. Hes quiet and Ex encalve and he gives me free vertibird flights on survival

Hes worth. If Bethesda said any creations was canon I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Daniel remnant. You would think a creation companion wouldn’t fit in but if I gave fallout 4 to a new player and had Daniel remnant mod you wouldn’t think hes not part of the main game

Because yeah you can help a lot of your companions story wise in the game but not so much gameplay wise besides robots but those aren't must have companions anyway besides cosworth and Curie but she doesn't stay a robot for too long!

As long as you don't piss off one of these factions that has the companion you need to perk for yet you can get all the perks for all the companions in the game you can't get all the perks for the DLC areas because you have to make a choice before you get one of the perks but for the companions yeah as long as you don't start the final stretch of the game or the base game anyway you can

By the way I noticed there's a slight bug with the power armor backpack paid mod, the mod works perfectly well it's just for some reason you can add the modification for the armor to every piece of it instead of just the torso but no matter where you put the modification it will always appear on the torso even if you're putting the modification on a leg piece
