Please put back in the ORIGINAL Zoom-In to the NPC's talking. In the remaster it just cuts to a closeup instead of zooming
[Suggestion] A proper sheath for the Blackwater Blade would be nice, like the Fine Steel longsword has (same model). The current sheath is a tiny holster and not very visually appealing.
Make the blackwood armor black, and add corpse physics back to the game

Difficulty sliders would be nice
A slowdown kill cam like in Skyrim would be pretty sick to have
Adding mannequins for player homes would be a welcomed addition. As well as weapon racks. Not the ones where you need to drag and drop, but ones were you snap it on.
Please allow us to hit dead bodies, currently our sword just phases through them breaking immersion. This was in Skyrim, Morrowind and OG Oblivion 😦
Claymore swing speed needs to be drastically increased. Makes no sense why the battle axe swings faster than claymores. Also add a third attack animation for claymores. Looks awkward with just the two animations slowly looping back and forth.

The spotlight that turns on when you speak to an npc is a bit extreme. Could use some toning down or a slider if possible
+1 to hitting dead bodies again. Didn’t even know we couldn’t do this now. That’s disappointing
the reduction of health regen for trolls would be nice, on expert++ they regen more than you can dish out damage
Jskar became un-invisible before the quest was resolved, after I stole the book and gave it to Volonaro. Can you guys change the appearance of the characters back to how it was before? I'm looking at Volonaro and I think he is a high elf but I have no idea, he doesn't look like a high elf.....
If possible please change the Blackwood armour to a blacker shade of grey, also please consider making a replica amulet of kings and emperors robes for those who like cosplaying in elder scrolls finery

Suggestion: Make it so that in addition to the current Conjuration perks, at 50, 75 and 100 we can summon an additional creature.
You guys did a beautiful job on this remaster! Honestly I don't have any suggestions regarding gameplay changes but I do have a suggestion for a dlc. When I was younger I was always interested in an idea that perhaps uriel can be saved and/or Martin, it was so cool we got to have the servant of the dawn quest mod that let's you explore the antagonist side, but I was always hoping if anyone could ever make a mod that would make uriel and Martin alive. I guess for my dlc suggestion I think I'd wish for one where there can be a chance to make Uriel, Martin, Captain Renault, Glenroy and Prior Maborel able to be saved through player choice and timing and somehow an alternate ending could have a chance to happen depending on how you play. I know this probably won't happen but the reason I wanted to give this suggestion was because when I saw this article https://www.ign.com/articles/a-new-generation-is-trying-to-save-the-emperor-in-the-elder-scrolls-iv-oblivion-remastered-and-the-assassin-corpses-are-piling-up it made me chuckle to think that there were many players that totally wished for these scripted to die characters to be able to be saved somehow. That's why I thought if a lot of players back from OG Oblivion and even New ones coming from the remastered one that you guys beautifully created, are trying to find ways to make these scripted NPCs survive even when they know they cant then it will be a truly Satisfying DLC 2 make the players be able to 2 go against the weave of fate by making them have a slight chance in making them survive depending on how well the player can actualy & finally step in & prevent their deaths or if they were too late & just leave them to their original fates. It'd be really cool to see if Uriel and/or Martin survived or maybe even have a chance where they can survive for a bit but can also have the chance to be able 2 die by the end aswell. Imo it'll be cool to see a few different outcomes that are all dependent on how the player plays.

Suggestion: Allow followers to level alongside your character so that they may be more useful at higher levels.
Better vampires would really improve the vampirism ...really thought they would do something in the remasterd to make vampire more enjoyable. if you ask me its not worth it....there is no way to protect yourself in the sunlight. you need to find some nearby place to hide from the sun or you will melt like butter. also there is that bald glitch issue when you are in stage 4 lol.
This probably isn't going to happen but I went to retire to an inn this evening before logging out and I couldn't help but feel it was very quiet and lifeless. I know this game isn't Skyrim, and I don't want it to be, but it would be amazing and immersive if we were to retire to an inn and hear the sounds of bards singing and instruments playing. Drunkards chanting/brawling. Songs about the thieves guild and the Illusive fox! Dark stories about the dark brotherhood laced with murderous intent, and a song or two written about the end of the world or the hero of kavach in response to the player and the oblivion gates. A huge amount of work but something that would add a lot of life into an old game without taking away from it's original tone or vibe imo.
restore the beautiful oringals bright green asthetic, at least give us an option

it'd be nice to have a use for non-armor apparel, even if just a convenient way to swap to a "in-town" outfit or something for roleplaying without having to go into your inventory
please remove or increase the potion drinking limit from 4, it's so annoying.

Theres an entire community of folks out there who were really looking forward to mods on xbox. Heck i was fully expecting a grealty better mod space than skyrim even though i doubt ill need one for a graphics pack. Theres just literally infinitely more replayabilty to be had. I want to enjoy the lore of oblivion with perk overhauls, more attire and camping to immerse myself deeper.
New Game +
Change the virtue system. Either decrease so luck takes up only 2 points or increase to 15 virtue points while making luck cost 5. This is the equivalent of a perfect level up in normal oblivion hence it needs to be addressed. Make it toggle option so players have the choice to do or keep the current system.Also add hand clothed items like for example gloves or remove the spell effectiveness penalty from gauntlets since having to use the wrist of iron sucks to maximize enchant slots.
I just got to level 20 and now literally every dungeon is just bandits in heavy armor…. Is there any way we could get a diversified enemy level scaling system so that we still get to fight ogres and minotaurs and high level fantasy enemies? For example in Fallout you had Deathclaw’s and radacorpions that could have high level versions so that you werent always fighting the same gunner raiders over and over again. Something like this so that the game doesnt become monotonous in the later levels and encourage people to delve into every nook and cranny this gorgeous game has to offer.
Get rid of the hot wheel left bumper/L1 command and let us assign a second spell for dual casting. Make the D-Pad automatically change hot wheel selection and make Start our universal menu button

please bring back armor/weapon variations. like.. blackwood steel armor is the exact same as steel armor now, whereas before it had a really cool unique texture... but also things like steel vs fine steel variants. I think someone found that there are different textures in the game files, but they don't seem to have been used in the actual game.
also +1 to many of the other great suggestions here, but I also understand that there are limits. you cannot completely remake the game and all of the associated mechanics etc. little quality of life things and details (like the textures) would make a world of difference I think. Game's already great, though. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

One thing that would be good is some gloves that count as unarmored clothing. Right now the only thing in the game that counts as unarmored for that slot are wrist irons.
Please add a camera mode like the ones most other open world games have. This game is stunning and could really use one!

Please Bring back the differing heights for our character relative to our race
Please add back the different visual variations of specific armors For example , rusty iron armor and regular iron armor share the same textures. Or the black wood steel set sharing the same textures as the regular steel armor. Thank you.
Would be cool if we can weapon bash too, we can do that in Skyrim

I do not like that minor skills contribute to level ups. I'm leveling way too fast. Please bring back original core leveling mechanics. I'm leveling up way too fast the game is getting to be a bit ridiculous as far as how hard anything is to beat. Playing on expert. It's absolutely insane and almost unplayable.

Suggestion: Please have graphics settings not sync with all other settings for cloud saves. Having everything including graphics settings syncing makes switching to different devices (i.e. Desktop to laptop, Desktop to portable device like Lenovo Go, etc.) difficult as you have to re-do the graphics settings every time you switch. Thanks! Loving the remaster so far.
it is kind of weird to have commands disable achievements. if someone wants achievements but has to use consoles to fix a quest bug (as many of those are still in game) I guess they're just locked out of achievements.
also modernize the enemy scaling/item distribution so for example not all bandits are wearing best gear when encountered at higher levels
I only bought the game because I read leveling had been improved. I thought that meant npc level scaling had been removed, so I was extremely disappointed to see that it's still in place. It's not fun to play an RPG where your character peaks at level one. Please remove npc/loot scaling or provide an option to do so for Xbox players.

Expert is 3x the damage and .2 damage given, while adept is 1x damage
A key ring to hold all of the keys you collect in one place rather than cluttering the inventory would be nice. I know that may be a lot of technical work to accomplish, but it would be a wondrous improvement to the inventory system

Please implement the ability to immediately access local maps with a separate keybind.
Please add the option to display weapons and armor on the wall or on mannequins, I have so much loot sitting in a chest that begs to be on display.
Suggestion: Can you add the Flesh Atronach as a spell or make it available for spellcrafting after you recieve the power to summon it.
Since it is a normal summon for the heretics on the shivering isles but not for the Player character

Move the waypoint for Frostcrag to the steps, and the waypoint for Deepscorn to the trapdoor, so you don't have to run a bit after fast travel every single time.

Loading screens - Understand the need for them, don't mind them when required. I really don't like when a full loading screen pops up for a second. It feels like if it just faded to black it would load faster and not break my immersion. Going city to city, sure, but inside to outside of a loaded area? Just do black screen.
Detect life should be tweaked so they show up as red and to increase the viewing distance of it. When used with Nighteye it's not great.
I've had a blast with this game those are the 2 that come to mind

Also, allowing skills and attributes to actually do something if they're pass 100 via fortify effects would be cool
Leveling is WAY too fast
Reducing loading screens there is no need to have multiple loading screens in your player home for example the game is not going to break with current technology i understand from world to city but entering a room in your own house should not be a loading screen
The item wheel that comes up when I press L1 is very handy, I could use 2 more pages if these though, make it so I can use D-pad left and right to switch to 2 more wheels. Right now I have so many spells and items they don't all fit on the one. Having to go trough my spellbook and items for soul gems, repair hammers, different spells is a hastle

Black and Gold outfit (the clothing outfit) is not black and gold and instead is Purple and Gold. Plz fix.
Please can we have armour variants back. For example Rough leather armour and Blackwood look just like their normal counterparts. It's a really disappointing loss of detail.
+1 for LUT adjustments. The game doesn't need the same early 2000s-ULTRA-BLOOM-FXXXXX-HDR enabled but it really shouldn't have the red-brown-sepia smear for 100% of the time. It makes Oblivion look really nice! Nothing else though.
Make level scaling work both ways. That means on your "Allies" as well.
If I level up to let's say lvl 20 and then start main quest line, all the guards and other friendly NPCs just die like flies around me.
Quest related NPCs and guards (at least) should be scaled with the world and player level same as monsters and other enemy NPCs to match them.

I’ve said it before but I’m going to change it just a little bit. But this game desperately needs an in depth photo mode. And what would be cool is if there was a yearly competition by the end of the year or beginning where say the top 5-10 photos would be used to promote the game on the page where you buy the game. Where when people go to look to see if they’d like it they’d see photos from other gamers.
Suggestion - add to Armor Master level removes Spell Effectiveness penalty.
If you could add some options that make Oblivion gates more fun and engaging to enter, so people don't start riding past them, it would be transformative for this game.
Play test this with ordinary gamers, watch how long it takes for a new Oblivion gate to evoke a sigh. If you can improve on that time you will have really achieved something for the game's longevity
Reworked vampirism. Have it so that as you feed, your vampire age (and therefore power) increases. Maybe have a dozen or so levels to your vampire age with increasingly powerful buffs, new abilities, unique vampirism related item crafting and more.
Oblivionise the vampire lord, give it the ability to fly using its wings, swoop down to grab NPCs, have 1st person and be able to use weapons (including wield 2 handed weapons in one hand) and wear certain unique items of apparel. Also, give the model unique appearances based on your race and body type.
Forgoing feeding makes you more bestial and stronger, but also vulnerable to the sun and people recognise your vampirism. Great as a power spike to get you out of a difficult spot in a long dungeon.
Can we please get some attention to the Amber sword from Oblivion Remastered. It looks like a Skyrim weapon (Paddle Sword) rather than the one from Oblivion.

Can you list what level a spell is, like Novice apprentice Journeyman expert or master? I have no idea what any of these require anymore once ive purchased them, it didnt used to be like this.
Also can you fix the way we view item descriptions? Using the Joystik on console to move the pages to the right literally will almost not work and its not my controller having stick drift. Any movement back to 0 moves the page in the same direction even if i dont move the joystick in the opposite direction, i think its not checking for the minimum value of 0 before deducing left or right and its just using any and all left or right movement.

Please fix the enemy scaling. I was under the impression it was fixed when the Remaster was announced as they said they overhauled levelling.
Regular Bandits should wear Fur, Iron, Steel, Chainmail etc. not Glass or Daedric regardless of the player’s level.
please add an option to choose distance units, i.e. feet or meters
Make sigil stones show what effect they have by hovering over them in the inventory
Quest DLC to join the Imperial Legion. Obtaining that sweet Imperial Watch/Palace Guard Drip and potentially other new types of armors/weapons introduced into the game. Maybe even tie it onto rebuilding Kvatch and you becoming count.
Even if it takes a while. Mod tools and documentation.

Restore unique audio for different container types. Previously, each container had distinct sound effects, for example chests would creak, while fleshy pods produced squelching noises.
Variant armor and weapons should be a different variant if that armor or weapon. Blackwood armor should be it's original variant, not the same exact model as regular steel

Could you please make it so using a spiritual gem doesn't close the weapon recharge window? Meaning you can use all the gems you need to refill your weapon and then exit out of it

For fighter’s guild quests: if the game forces you to escort someone to a point of interest, please have the npc move with a purpose, instead of walking as slowly as possible. Also the npc shouldn’t stop and wait for you to get 3ft from them to start walking again. It incredibly frustrating and serves no purpose. Examples: Oreyn during the first part of the Azani Blackheart quest, and Pinarus Inventius during the Rat Problem quest. On the same line, your player shouldn’t have to wait over an hour (irl) for Quill-Weave to drop the raw meat. Whoever coded the fighters guild quests needs a new job

Please make some kind of official mod support or modding kit. It’d be great to have console support for mods as well

Return Fatigue / MaxFatigue to the damage formulas.
It's removal is a short lived buff in the early game, but later on it's a massive hindrance to non-magical damage scaling.
For me, voice dubbing is essential.
I'm really into the game, but as soon as someone starts talking, reading distracts me from the immersion, and I find that really unfortunate.
The possibility of adding mods (consoles too) would also be great to enrich the gameplay.

The remaster seems to have gone considerably backwards in terms of spell physics. It was so satisfying to blast someone with a powerful spell and see them go flying, or see all the objects in the vicinity go flying. Now they kinda just slump over. Can this be addressed?

Keyboard and mouse support for Xbox(and PS5). My girlfriend used to play on PC, she needs a new rig to play the remaster. We already have a Series S and Gamepass, but she has a disability that makes using a controller difficult.
Many unique or otherwise rare/cool armor, clothing, or even weapon variants have been made to share their visual model with the standard variant. The worst example of this in my opinion is the Blackwood armor set now being visually identical to the steel armor set. There are more examples of the flavour and variety of weapons, armor and other items not meeting parity for the original release of Oblivion.
I was playing for around half a day, did like 3 aeylid ruins, 2 oblivion gates (including kavatch) and one quest beyond that... And im level 18 with restoration almost maxed our and all major skills around or above 50... I mean, yes I did some alchemy and leveled merantile and speechcraft but those two barely... Being a master of magic before even properly joining the mages guild is a bit anticlimactic, I think toning leveling down is a must rn ://

Not sure why Expert difficulty is same as Legendary in Skyrim - please add some difficulties in between, maybe with same multipliers as in Skyrim.
One for the far future but as I was doing stuff for the Thieves Guild it got me thinking - why don't we have a sort of opposite Guards of Cyrodiil style guild? Join the guard and solve some crimes, take down criminals etc? I would love that, but I'm not expecting anything like that in the short term.
This prob was suggested by now but if drop in co-op was added that would literally be a game changer. And the Nemesis system from shadow of mordor.....
Please work on the balance of two handed weapons. They attack to slow which leads to lower DPS than one handed weapons. Also please make reward equipment that scales with level.

Idk if this is a current suggestion or a good one, but I think being able to enchant gear with 3 max enchantments would be cool providing you can find gear like that already and the weapons can have any amount of enchantments on them
While it makes sense that there is natural cap of 100 for skills and attributes, I would appreciate if higher values were still considered in Fortify spell effects. Currently it’s inconsistent, where buffing eg acrobatics has effect, but buffing hand to hand does not

Weapons are invisible in the inventory menu, looks like character holding invisible weapons. Also, When you click an empty soul gem, the character tries to equip it, it shouldn't do this action when you click an empty soul gem in the menu

Also 2H reach is supposed to be farther than 1H. That is not currently the case.

Umm, add more quests or reasons for those little towns that are part of single offshoot quests to be more relevant. Like a merchant or something. Like Pell’s Gate which is only relevant for one quest and thats it. Or the towns that were once part of a quest and then the quest was scrapped leaving the town no reason to exist like Blankenmarch. Literally no reason to exist for that town.
Why are the yellow bushes around the Gold Coast brown? You can see that they're made up of flowers, and they're brown! That was the very thing about Gold Coast - the bushes with yellow flowers, why are they brown??
Patch HDR and Dolby Vision options into the game on PS5. It doesn't sing on modern displays and it's very disappointing to see this omitted.

Let our weapons impact with dead NPCs and enemies corpses like in the original, our weapons when a enemy character is dead don't impact the body of the character at all, like our weapons just go through their dead body when in the original Oblivion they actually hit the body still even though they were dead, it added to the magic and charm of the original to be able to just for immersion purposes whale on a corpse and see their body react to the blow of your weapon, , like you can literally punch and attack walls with weapons and it leaves crack marks on them But we can't have our weapon connect with the enemy's corpse like it did in the original? Like I said the fact that you could do that added to the magic and charm of the original and showed how impressive the ragdoll physics were. In the remaster our weapons just go through them with no impact at all which takes away from the charm.
So please hopefully you can give us the option to do that again.

Being able to power attack and attacking while jumping. Would be great if it was more fluid.
Let players rebind the Acrobatics Dodge skill as well. Would love to put it on one of my mouse buttons.

I was very excited to make a better feather spell before I realized it caps at 100 for some reason. The default spell goes up to 250 and it would be nice to make something better.

I have multiple suggestion to Oblivion Remastered - But one per Day 😄
- Please turn off the automatic restore of hp in fight and out of the fight. This destroys the feeling of the game totally and gives the feeling of a casual game. Also this makes alchemy, food and drinking and all the nice Role Play Elements totally useless. Just standing there and waiting for HP goes back to 100%. I am very disappointed from that feature. I highly suggest to delete that function completely and do not make it optional or something. Just delete it - Please. Just leave this function to all the bad games out there on the market!! 😛
Combat feels like it lacks fluidity to the striking. The new movesets are the same patterns over and over with ending lag after the final attack, whereas the old combat had the character swing the weapon in a multitude of different angles until you stopped attacking. I feel they could implement a way to keep the movesets and new animations while also making weapons feel better to use. The claymore is a good example, hits in a slow 1&2 pattern and doesnt do enough damage to justify using over the longswords

Please consider refactoring the difficulty settings, this is largest issue with game right now especially on console with no mod fix. Consider system from starfield where we can tune incoming damage versus outgoing damage independently, and more granular settings than just adept, expert, etc.
Gyroscope aiming for bows would be a massive boost to gameplay feeling smooth on a gamepad and on consoles where mouse+keyboard isn't an option

A feature that would be nice in the inventory menu, would be the ability to sort everything in the order of most recently acquired or added. This would be very helpful for spending less time looking through the inventory to find something I just picked up.
I think the biggest issue with the game right now apart from performance is the difficulty settings. On Expert, enemies deal 350% damage and the player deals 28% damage. This is equivalent to Legendary on Skyrim. There either needs to be a difficulty slider, or one or even two difficulty levels between Adept and Expert. What’s currently Expert should be “Legendary” or “Brutal” or something like that. Another suggestion is to disable health regen on higher difficulties. The current balance issues are on the verge of making me suspend my playthrough until they are fixed.
Allow us to disable Ray-tracing please. Using the LumenRT Disabler mod on Nexus makes my FPS jump by 10 frames while the game STILL LOOKS AWESOME.

Shameless plug for modding tools. The games life will be greatly extended just like all other BGS games. There's no reason not too unless there's some huge technical or legal roadblock, plus it'd be profitable over the long term. Most of the things I see while scrolling through this feed can be implemented or changed with mods.
I second the suggestion of an update roadmap, also, I would suggest returning the movement to how it was in the original, yes it was unrealistic, but its more fun to moonwalk, run diagonally at full speed, jump and spin around a bunch of times while in mid air, etc I miss that about the original

Thirded, I’d like to know if they’ll even bother implementing gameplay changes or if this is just a vent channel.
This may have been suggested already but would like to have the unique vampire eyes for all human races. Currently only Imperial characters get the cool vampire eyes.

If we have a follower, that shouldn't affect the stealth eye status. I dunno if it's all followers but Ilend Vonius is currently causing my stealth indicator to always be seen which messes up knowing my actual stealth status

OMG I opened Discord up to suggest something just like this. I was going to say, for controller at least, when you press left bumper it opens the hotkey wheel. Pressing the triggers currently do nothing when the hotkey wheel is up. It would be incredible if each trigger opened a separate wheel, giving us three times the hotkey options. The old Ratchet and Clank games on the PS2 did this! It was really convenient.
I would like to request the ability to combine Sigil stones.
Example: Take a Transcendent Sigil Stone (+50 Magicka) + Transcendent Sigil Stone ( +20% Magicka resistance) and fuse them together to make a "Great Sigil Stone" with both effects so we can have more options when enchanting. This would allow us to create some powerful pieces of jewlery. In addition, Great Sigil Stones are an actual lore item used to power great gates so I believe this would be a solid implementation to the game.

Please add Russian subtitles and interface on PS5. On PC you can install localization (the game was officially localized in 2006), but modifications of this game are not available on consoles.
I'm not sure if anyone has said it, but please add werewolves 😊 i know they weren't in the original but a guy can hope!
Suggestion is to buff the effects of enchantments on outfits or uniquely allow them to have multiple enchantments. Since outfits take up multiple equipment slots and can only be buffed once it makes them completely worse than wearing separate shirts and pants.
This makes role-playing as a mage feel stale because robes are ironically worse for them.

Suggestion is to add mounted combat as it would make getting around easier since you don't have to constantly dismount to fight rats.
I would love to see dual wielding, especially for rogue type classes. I don’t even need to be able to attack with it. Give me to option to partially block incoming attacks with a parrying dagger… A stealth character with a shield just seems odd.
Pure Warrior Melee needs to do more damage, it takes me a minute and 20 to kill a daedric wearing bandit a with shield using umbra versus my custom spell that kills him in 6 seconds, also it takes me 10 seconds to kill him when using stealth. This is in expert difficulty too, so yeah pure combat needs something to make it do more damage.
Make followers like Skyrim followers, so you can trade armor and weapons.

Please add the Elder Scrolls V Lockpicking mechanic, Optimize for a PC with a Ryzen 5700x and 7700xt, revamp the Khajiit Customization to allow the removal of the Neckbeard and addition of more fur patterns and Tail selection such as Lynx, Snow Leopard, Lion, Panther and Tiger Tails, and finally, please buff the Equipment health so it doesn't break too fast.

All i want for christmas the patch is a fix to the vampire face bug
It's probably been requested many times already, if so, add my voice to the chorus. We really need a face sculptor or at least a barber to correct some of the mistakes we made with our characters faces while in the sewer. Having my Breton sporting a Habsburg chin stopped being funny after exactly two hours.
Please fix the dark brotherhood entrance door in the remaster. I was so disappointed the sound effect and the dark red aura is completely gone. In the original it felt scary, but here it's just an ordinary door..
Keyboard and mouse support would be nice on consoles.

Difficulty settings rebalanced.
The jump between a single setting either way is quite extreme compared to Skyrim (for example).
Knocking the difficulty up or down one from Adept to suit my needs while playing just feels overly drastic. While playing through the Arena on Adept I’ll feel quite capable and balanced, yet when I’m struggling a bit with an enemy I’ll knock the difficulty down one and suddenly I’m one-shotting them. Novice must be a completely pointless difficulty setting if that’s happening between Adept and Apprentice.
It’s been mentioned before many times, but I also think that the difficulty damage percentages should be tweaked slightly to be less of a jump between settings - perhaps add another higher difficulty setting “Legendary” to help rebalance them.
Can we please get on the map a marking option so i can see witch dungeons i completed ?
Can we get two difficulty sliders - one for damage taken and another damage dealt?
Make armorer 100 fully repair equipment in one use.
The hammers already unbreakable at that point. The only difference is the number of times I need to mash the button.

I wanted to give you suggestion about difficulty settings. But I see there are already a lot of takes on that topic (intermediate preset difficulty between Adept-Expert and TWO separate sliders for enemy/player damage).
PLEASE, implement difficulty patch ASAP because console players can't use mods to fix this major issue!
It also would be amazing to have 3-4 tabs of Shortcut Menu, because 8 options are not enough to be honest. I find this a nice adjustment, especially if game will be paused / slowed down while Shortcut Menu is used.

NPCs should only comment on your 70+ level skills if they’re Major Skills. I don’t want someone telling my master vampire who achieved high Restoration from reading books and spamming heal spells “You have the hands of a healer.”
Proper HDR support would be amazing. It currently already works via UE5 console commands, however not having to enable it manually each time you boot up would be nice.

Allow players to bash open locks like in Daggerfall. Some locks might still need keys to open, but for barbarian/non-stealth/non-magic characters, it should be an option, with the potential of damaging items in containers as well as alerting guards far more easily

Please fix the mood of the door to the dark brotherhood. The lighting and sound are important to the storyline and are a moment of terror if stumbled upon accidentally. Also remove 2 children from the door, the night mother is the palm and the five children are the fingers, that is why the dark brotherhood symbol is a ✋.
I'd like to see more ways to access "Weakness to Normal Weapon", and for it not be associated with Destruction Magic. Alteration could be a good fit.
Hi I really love the remaster you have done 🙂 I am huge fan of an old game as well but some things in the remaster need to be worked on - (1.) the difficulity should be tinkered with on the adept nearly nothing can kill you but the damage you give is reasonable on expert it is hard as **** you cant 1vs2 nearly at any situation I was playing it till lvl 15 but then I said enough and switched to adept (2.) You should remove or at least decrease the black outlines when you point at things and mainly remove it when you are riding it is not good looking when you ride a horse and his name is popping up in middle of you screen (3.) You could improve Vampires to be more playable not like the old game (4.) Some colours of the brows look odd (5.) The performance could be better (6.) You could add first person horse riding (7.) You could have decreased the number of Oblivion gates there are so many of them and instead just improve the few that would have been left like add some unique items so exploring Oblivion would be more rewarding (I know this wont come true because the game has already been released but in the future for TES 6 you should consider things like this, the Skyrim mod Legacy of the Dragonborn does that really good that it makes exploration worth it I suggest you check it out) (8.) The sprinting animation could be better done (9.) I would really apprecitate the option to keep just the old dabbing of the game I understand you wanted to add something new but this games biggest power is nostalgia and I would like to use only the old voices (10.) Improve horse speed

Stealth. It's nearly worthless, Skyrim has a more influential system but I still think that it's not great either 🤔 perhaps a few tweaks to perks? Might be a good idea for every class of perks.
The physics of the ⚖️ Scales in the remaster are non existent, OG Oblivion ⚖️ had physics. Literally unplayable (jk). Bring back scales physics (or don't, Love the Remaster Bethesda)
Color filters is must have! OG colors were so much better. Add filters please.
Going to echo what has probably already been said somewhere: make Expert difficulty more reasonable (adept too easy, expert = damage sponges and survival too hard). Master could probably use a tone down too, but not sure what a good ceiling is.
For context, Witcher 3 "blood and broken bones" feels pretty good as a 4/5 difficulty. Increase amount of hits can be taken by enemy offense and decrease hits needed to kill enemies is all.
Make weapons better at damage scaling like spells or stealth right now they simply don’t scale up by comparison on expert or above
Should add silent footsteps to armors like the DB armor. The journeyman sneak perk was changed so weight of armor still affects stealth and that makes what are supposed to be stealthy armor or any armor that doesn't allow you to use separate boots less optimal. That or change the perk back so all footwear is treated as silent.

Hello! My name is Dylan, and I have fond memories of giving my Xbox 360 a red ring of death playing Oblivion in 2006. I am in love with the Oblivion Remastered title, and I really appreciate all of the hard work that went into it. Here are my 2 cents on what I think can be improved. I have played about 30 hours so far in Oblivion Remastered as a Sorcerer class. My main complaint is the ⚡ LEVELING SPEED ⚡ . Without doing much power leveling or spamming, I found that Magic and Economy skills (Alchemy, Mercantile) level up far too quickly, and my character level also went up very quickly. This really rushed me to the endgame of gear and enemies. I am still totally able to fend for myself, complete quests, and delve into dungeons, but I think a more gradual sense of progression would be more rewarding for a decently long playthrough of an open world RPG. While I do very much appreciate the thoughtful changes to the XP mechanics for some of these skills (Big transactions, big spells -> bigger XP), I believe the overall XP rate for these skills should be greatly toned down—especially because spell-spamming is still possible, and ingredient gathering is no longer chance-based.
There has already been a lot said about the extreme nature of the difficulty scaling. My additional piece would be that indirect combat actions such as Poisons and Conjuration Summons should also be affected by the difficulty setting. Otherwise, the player is just encouraged to find ways to circumvent the difficulty. I'm well aware this was a "feature" of OGBlivion, having done 100% difficulty playthroughs—but I think making all of the player's combat actions consistently affected by a less extreme difficulty scaling, would make a lot more sense in the year 2025.
Badges of some kind for multi effect potions, or expanded automatic naming… can be annoying to sift through several “restore fatigue” potions looking for the one that has reflect damage or something. Also, can there be an option to remove the “would you like to poison…” prompt, in favor of a top-left note that doesn’t interrupt game flow? Same for “already poisoned.” There’s just several UI pain points for alchemy, more than just the usual request for categorization (equipment, potions, poisons, ingredients please…)
suggestion: communicate with players on what's planned patch timeline. I stopped playing due to performance issues on PS5 and after two weeks it's been all silence. I would like to at least know if you are going to release a patch next months or not.
I think the ability to dye your armors, would be extremely good for player expression and customization. Think, Elder Scrolls Online, how they have a dedicated dye station.
Hopefully the team considers this.

Using your "Sewer Save" to create a new character does not split its character profile in the load save character list. When saving my game as the Breton the profile namme becomes the Breton character, when saving as the Khajiit it becomes the Khajiit character.
I was wondering around the wilds at night, and I noticed there were no shadows cast under the trees and rocks and such from the sky. I don’t have that issue during the day, so my best guess is Masser and Secunda are not light sources. Is that something that could be updated so the night has more depth?

Oblivion is one of my favorite games growing up, and honestly would love a new DLC or two and would gladly pay,

Or go to the summerset isles / artaeum maybe we can learn more about the thalmor for the next game it could add complexity and depth. Going to artaeum could allow us to join the Psijic and learn new mysticism spells.
Aside from that I would love to see a more necromancy spells in the game. Giving players the option if they do want to be necromancers.
Photo mode and dual wielding for Rogue roleplaying would be cool.

As Archmage, the ability to unban necromancy, including optional decorative changes to the arcane university and uniform changes. As well as new spells.
According to The Elder Scrolls' own lore, Werewolves and Werelions are said to roam around/infest Cyrodiil's Great Forest(s). It would be very lore-friendly, and absolutely amazing, if Werewolves/lions got added in, with the ability to contract Lycanthropy/Sanies Lupinus, or its Werelion equivalent, and to have the transformations be moons-bound/uncontrollable until the player got better at being a Werewolf/lion/upped their skills in Lycanthropy/Werelionism and could change at will for either X Amount Of Time or until they wanted to change back, regardless of the moons.

Please add back the daedric claymore model from OG Oblivion. The remastered version looks very off that I don’t want to use it. Why does the blade look smaller and what happened to the cool cross guard? Does not makes sense why the daedric battle axe and Warhammer retained their original look but not the claymore.

Detect life is practically useless with how dim it is. I can barely see it. Would appreciate if it was a lot more noticeable, especially at a distance. As it stands I can’t really see people through walls. By the time I see the life detect glow I’m normally within line of sight anyways.
Please consider adjusting how boots work for sneaking, as is the dark brotherhood boots are worse than wearing bound boots for sneaking.
Maybe a new player house for holy priest/necromancer (it can be a cathedral that has an option to praise the divines in decor or profane the divines) etc
can we maybe change how bright the container ui is? i can’t see what i have selected because it’s all just white. maybe just including a high contrast setting for people who visual impairments
the flashing effects on enemies from weapon and spell enchantments are a bit much. A little less flashing lights and more blood, like the blade bleed effect, would make the combat a little more real / visceral. Maybe an option or slider to tune this down a bit, and tune blood up?
Highlight books that we haven't read yet. A mod like that exist for Skyrim SE/AE called "Unread Books Glow SSE" it would be nice if we had this feature in Oblivion remaster.

i wanna be able to pet my horse
I love the details added to this game, like the fluid animation when water drops on your character or when there's a collider on vines (and cloth animation of course). So far, so good. However, I’d really love to see a grass collider. I know it can be performance-heavy, but it adds a lot of realism and immersion. And I would love real footprints on the ground too.
No idea if this has been suggested, but I believe the game is in dire need of a local map option to sort for inns/shops/armorers, etc. Just blindly scrolling through the map is not intuitive.
Please bring back german audio/voicelines

A stream destruction spell like the novice ones in Skyrim. Flames, Frost, Spark
I would like to adjust character features any time by going to a certain npc or just in settings. like hair, hair colors, eye color, skin tone. Not be able to change race.

I think that in remaster player character have too high health and it negatively impact difficulty. My lvl 32 character with 100 str and 100 end already have 510 hit points -its way too high. In og oblivion i would have something like 350-360 hp, depending on how fast i would rise endurance. There are 2 components of hp - base hp (I believe its 4/3 end and 2/3 str in remaster) and 10% END per level. 10% of END per level should stay retroactively (its a great change), however base hp should not apply retroactively. Great job with remaster !
The team is really enjoying the game, some for the first time. The world itself feels empty at times, I think adding survival mechanics/difficulty mode along with crafting could be a new spin just like Skyrim and fallout.
The crafting / repair hammer could have an upgrade system that works with condition. Also use tiers e.g. rusty, standard, fine, durable, exceptional, pure, immaculate, etc.

I would like to see more katanas in the existing types like Daedric, Glass, etc.
Add a map "completed" marker (so we visually know when a dungeon or something is completed)
I'd love a "skills, crafting and arts" expansion. So it would add smithing for your own weapons, armour, and jewellery, however, unlike Skyrim where you can recreate all the generic armours ad nauseam, all the items you can craft would be highly customisable in appearance and traits (a bit like traits in ESO crafting); you'd select the material, that you want to make the item from, then you'd customise the style in a character creator like editing system, and then actually build it by heating the metal and hammering it out on your anvil to fill out a shape outline. The better you do this, the better quality the craft. Also, add alternative armour styles for every mundane/generic armour/weapon type. There'd also be clothes crafting and cooking.
The skills aspect would be covered by the addition of three new skills: polearms, enchanting, and pickpocketing. Polearms would govern the use of newly added polearms like spears, halberds, pollaxes etc; pickpocketing would affect your chances to pick pockets but also permit poisoning targets by slipping a poison into their inventory and increasing your chances of finding valuables; enchanting would affect the power of enchantments you can create but also your usage and crafting of scrolls, grimoires (which replace staves in function) and staves which now can carry multiple spells and permit the overcharging of spells. These items could be created without an arcane enchanter but you'd also learn new effects and ways of casting enchantments. Also, you'd be able to enchant jewellery with active casting enchantments as well as constant effect enchants, but only at the arcane enchanters (or with sigil stones).
Arts includes being able to play a selection of musical instruments with a scrolling button mini game, dancing with a similar mini game and painting. You could perform in inns, courts, or on street corners and earn either wealth and fame, or infamy and incarceration depending on how good you are. Also, have a photo mode.

If you could rebalance the difficulty, especially regarding the massive difficulty spike/increase in enemy spongy-ness on expert after coming from adept. Adept is too trivial and on expert the enemy health is either too high or player damage is too low. The current situation is most enemies are killed in 2-4 hits on adept and you die in 12-15. Then on expert this reverses, leading to an almost unplayable or un-enjoyable experience on expert and a boring and easy experience on Adept. At the moment there isn’t much of a sweet spot in this area. Perhaps bring back the difficulty slider from OG oblivion? Or rebalance the current difficulty options. Starfields difficulty sliders is also another alternative. Finally, the current Skyrim difficulty is perfect - for me expert is the perfect sweet spot of challenging, but also fair and surmountable, maybe balancing Oblivion remastered difficulty to match Skyrims difficulty balancing is possible. Horse stats, classes, and training. Why is every horse the exact same? We know they have stats for health and attack, why not give us some options?
Each city stable could offer a different class of horse with differently weighted stats. In addition, they could also offer optional training to pay for stat upgrades.
Of course even more could be done with this idea with more themed horses but even the stats and training without classes would be a nice upgrade 🙂
Please buff Ruins Edge bow! It’s dwarven quality as a unlevelled unique and that makes no sense. It’s a Mazken bow made of Daedric ebony, with a powerful enchantment. Please buff this bow to reflect its Daedric quality with Daedric damage

Sleeping should also allow you to increase multiple levels at once. Players may sleep and not realize they've accrued enough XP to level up more than once. Sleeping multiple times to accommodate each level increase is unnecessarily tedious.

Master summons should scale with your level.
If you use a Restoration spell to completely negate sun damage as a vampire (16 hp/s for 120s, for example), your controller should stop vibrating. It’s cool that the game allows us to be ^a daywalker vampire but it would be a nicer experience without the constant rumbling imo

Alternate idea for leveling solution:
Increase the level ranges for equipment and decrease skill points on level up as well as sadly readjusting all quest levels to match the new more easily reacher higher levels.
Raise the collar of the dark shirt like it was in the original.
The v-neck nature of it now makes hoods look like they are attached directly to your neck.
Add a marriage addition to it.. there's mods for it, clearly it's something enough people want and was a hit in skyrim.

Hi, I would love to see a change to how the map functions. I recommend pressing m to go to the world map, m again to go to the zoomed in map of the dungeon, or town you're in, etc, then m again to exit the map altogether. This would be a much more seamless experience.

Please stop limiting the amount of saves we can have. I just lost a lot of progress because I didn't realize it was saying "Disk Full" instead of "Autosaving" at the top left and when I realized this, I went to go delete some saves and the menu disappeared and I had to Alt+F4... Loaded back and lost a ton of progress all because the game dictates how much I'm allowed to store on my own hard drive. I don't know why games are limiting the amount of saves you can have now. This is annoying. These games are buggy, if I've had to load back hours because of bugs and now that we have limited saves, if something bad happens, instead of loading back hours, I might have to restart the game entirely. Having limited saves for these games is not good.
Would love to see an unlevelled setting where you cannot level up, stuck at 1 forever. Skills give 0 xp so you can become more powerful as you level skills, attributes stay the same other than fortifying with spells and gear and make normally levelled weapons unlevelled. Daedric artifacts all available at level 1

Pls fix the Arena questline! My current playthrough is convinced the arena is closed despite me trying to do matches in the right time frame of 9am - 9pm. I’ve seen multiple posts on Reddit saying it has something to do with bound armour/weapon spells messing with the time frames or whether you have your raiment on, and atm the quest line is completely broken for me and so many other players who’ve had this glitch 😭

Please restore the lighting/sound for the Dark Brotherhood door and fix the incorrect number of the Nightmother’s children on the door. This change was not only completely unnecessary, but also directly contradicts the established lore. Also please add HDR back in, idk why it was removed in the day one patch to begin with, seeing a game ship without HDR support in 2025 is embarrassing. Also please fix the Blackwood armor set and the many other sets that were made lighter for no reason. Also please for the love of Todd, fix the broken level scaling for unique items. Even the original system designer has said that the system was a mistake.

Suggestion: Leveled Armor Variety & First-Person Horse Riding
I wanted to suggest a tweak to the leveled loot/enemy armor system. Right now, once you hit certain levels, older armors like Iron and Fur just vanish from enemy spawns, and suddenly every bandit is decked out in the exact same thing. It kind of kills immersion and makes the world feel artificially uniform.
I think it’d be way more immersive if armor variety stayed consistent throughout the game. Imagine being level 30 and running into a bandit gang where some are in rusty iron and fur, while others are rocking dwarven or ebony. That sort of class and gear disparity would make the world feel more alive and believable.
Also please bring back first person horse riding! You know we all want it.

When using the repair hammer the menu should highlight the armor and weapons on you, same as in the regular menu, that’ll help understanding what to repair with priority
Sugestion - when repairing armor add option to repair all it is quite tiresome to repair all with just clicking R 100 times and also the option to refill the weapons when you point at them so you dont have to look for the soul gems after each refill in the inventory

Allow for UI scaling, and for scaling of the padding in the UI (the empty whitespace to make the UI feel less cluttered). Also, please enable a slider for transparency of the background of the text pop-ups showing what the highlighted NPC or interactable object in the world is (such as an Iron Door, or Glarthir). EDIT: They're called infoboxes, apparently.
When goin up-hill, horses shouldn't be slowed as much especially considering I could run jump faster than a horse anyways but alas I would prefer to use a horse. Remove Horses name, just annoying HUD clutter or add UI transparency. Ability to upgrade leveled Items. A survival mode with independent difficulty level options. Better difficulty levels, particularly expert and master. Master is too unrealistic, expert is a little too much and adept is too easy(personally). Fast Travel options including markers and teleport spots for homes that aren't a mile away, and maybe can only fast travel on a horse if survival mode is implemented.
Please fix the difficulty problems, adept is so easy that I can't die, but Master is ridiculously hard, with a hit from 100 strength with a 2 handed ebony sword is barely taking out ANY health whatsoever at level 20. I like a challenge but this is ridiculous.
I would specifically ask for DAMAGE sliders. Like a slider from easy to hard, and a button beneath: [ADVANCED] and when you click that you can adjust difficulty by damage sliders, so if I want hard, fast battles, I can take 3x damage from enemies but do 1x damage to enemies. You can see how this would make everyone's experience a lot more tailored to what they want out of the game.

Seems that when i try to make potions the game crashes. I tried seeing if stolen ingredients caused the crashing... but when i used un stolen ingredients the game crashed.... cant make rhyme or reason for whats causing the issues.

I think that many of the suggestions are actually interesting and would like to see them implemented, but they're often really specific things that impact single aspects of the game ecc.
The thing i feel like needs immediate action is the difficulty as it impacts every aspect of the gameplay. As it is now, difficulties are simply unbalanced and unthought. On adept the game is too easy to the point you don't even need to think what you're doing, which would be fine if there was other actually viable options to make the game more difficult, but at the moment even expert, which isn't even meant to be the hardest difficulty, already makes many playstyles not viable and makes even lower tier enemy a damage sponge that takes a lot to kill, which is 1)boring and 2) breaks immersion. And in master difficulty isn't anyway possible to play the game without exploiting to their limit game mechanics. I think this is a thing that alone may end up making a lot of people quit or not play the game as much as they would, so i think it should take precedence over all the other minor changes to specific aspects of the game because at the moment is simply poorely thought and i think not even well playtested.

Hi Bethesda team! I’d like to suggest implementing a variable movement speed system. Currently the character either walks very slowly or runs at a high speed, with no in-between. This makes exploration feel either sluggish or overly rushed.
A smooth, analog-style speed system—similar to what Skyrim uses—would offer much better control and immersion, especially when navigating cities, interiors, or enjoying the environment. It would be a small change that makes a big difference in how natural the game feels to play.
Bring back the old textures for the blackwood armor and the shadowrend, they were more unique in the old oblivion
Can yall please fix the horse riding mechanics on console🫶 the game would be 10x more enjoyable if you could actually ride around the map with ease, the only other problem was movement and how laggy it gets when running up mountains, also maybe get rid of the loading screens for doors. besides from that everything’s actually really good.
Another suggestion if possible is adding an extra area in inventory for quest items, books etc so you don’t have to scroll forever to find one thing.
A large, dark gothic fantasy themed new land expansion venturing into the Velothi mountains with three loosely connected questlines to do with vampires with improved vampirism (#oblivion-suggestions message), lichdom, and The Order of the Virtuous Blood. Also add lycanthropy with some quests and items.
The new map would have three or four large cities and a massive network of underground caverns spanning Cyrodiil and the Velothi mountains to permit easy travel for lich characters. It would feature a city of undead deep inside it.
Lich characters would obviously look like corpses until they got to a high enough level, then similarly to Mannimarco the Worm King, you'd be able to readopt your corporeal form. Lichdom would very much be a mage focussed build and a bit of a glass cannon (especially early on) but would toughen up, considerably, at higher levels.
Lycanthropy would start similar to Morrowind's with nightly transformations, but as you gain control of it, it would become more like Skyrim's, with at-will transformations.
Only a minor quibble but it would be nice if you could un-favourite things on the wheel.

Hello Oblivion team. Thank you for remastering my favorite game. My ask would be that you add in clothes and armors that match the official artwork for the official classes in oblivion. For example; the nightblade artwork shows the nightblade in some pretty unique armor but, the closest thing available is the dark brotherhood set however I enjoy playing as a benevolent character. Other examples are the healer, the witch hunter or sorcerer. They all have great artwork deserving of their armors/clothes being included in the game. Again thanks for the remake!
I would like the clothes that were darker in the original to match their original colors, a lot of black clothing was made lighter and I feel like it should be darker, at least have them as a variants. Like the priest of order robes, black clothing, and shrouded armor to give some examples.
Also the Blackwood company armor was unique in the original but not in the remake
I also think having variants for the female armors that got changes could be neat, alternate versions that are “lighter” variants maybe?

Besides difficulty, leveling progresion is also broken. The changes made to points distribution on leveling and fact that minor attributes count to level increase are great, but you added them withou tweaking the leveling balance at all, I don't believe this game was playtested properly at all. Leveling is ridiculously fast, I'm level 12 arriving at Weynon Priory and I've cleared 4 dungeons and done 3 quests in Imperial City. Level, when the best loot and hardest enemiest spawn is 26, so I've completed maybe 3% of a game yet I'm almost halfway through leveling progression. I've stopped playing the game becouse of this, becouse I don't want to experience later majority of this game without any meaningfull progression.
Also, broken difficulty makes this problem even worse, becouse ridiculously spongy enemies at Expert or higher force your damage skills level up too fast, as you need to hit even basic enemies 30-40 times. Just ridiculous. Unplayable, broken mess gameplay wise. And three weeks passed and not a single patch for any of this, while PC gamers have solutions to most of the problems already addressed by modders. After Fallout 4, I'd say I'll never buy anything from Bethesda without huge discount. This thing made me reconsider and I've gave them a chance and bought this day one, full price. Regreting it already...

I think that the enchantment on your equipped gauntlets should dictate what type of damage you do with hand-to-hand! Either specialized hand to hand weapons or something like "Gauntlets of fire resistance" also deal fire damage and have a flame visual effect on them 👊⚡❄️🔥👊

Im sure its been said, but I would love a hardcore mode for the remaster with its own set of achievements.
I believe others have said this, but when sneak attack killing someone tagged as a guard with no witnesses you still get a bounty. It makes some dark brotherhood quests especially feel bad. Relatedly, I believe you still get a bounty of 40/are still caught if you kill anyone with an enchanted weapon/spell. This is a problem for quests where you get bonuses for killing a target undetected.
Suggestion and request:
Make the screen shot button hotkey on PC able to be changed, so I can make a button on my controller take screen shots.
Can we settle on a standard potion/poison weight? I don’t think it’s really at all valuable to have the whole average weight of ingredients thing. Always felt like searching for a problem that didn’t exist. Is it really exploitative to have potions weigh less than the ingredients, when it should be assumed we’re only taking a fraction of the ingredient to make the potion? And you’d equally have many cases of a potion being heavier, so you hardly get an advantage. This would remove all the weirdness of potion weights getting stuck at super heavy values. Maybe 0.5 is a good weight since that is what loot potions seem to be. Explain it away as water added for formerly lighter potions, and excess discarded for heavier ones. Alternatively, for a more complete fix, just don’t toss all potions into the first made weight, or at least if you are going to do that, make it possible to refresh the weight by getting rid of all the potions of that type you have.
Speed keys are very clunky on console. Starfield did this system better, using the d-pad is much more accurate than the joy stick.

Hello wonderfull people that brought us back to Oblivion. I have a suggestion that will make character build diversity so much better, especially for those playing on masterdifficulty. Extending benefits of skills and attributes beyond level 100. It always pains me to find cool loot with enchantments like plus to blade, or conjuration, or agility,... to realise that once i hit level 100 in that skill or attribute, it becomes virtually useless. I won't go over every skill or attribute, but strength beyond a 100 via enchantments, magic, potions, should keep increasing melee damage for relevant skills. Similarly for example Blunt skill level, there's no reason why the damage should max out at level 100 making enchantments, potions, magic, that push it past 100 useless. Sneak, it should keep increasing the ability to stay hidden past 100. Magical skills, they should keep decreasing mana cost when past 100. Armorer, it should keep increasing durability and armor/damage rating past 100. Etc,... Especially for master difficulty where the meta is to spam weakness destruction skills, it is important, making other builds actually viable and even powerful. Let me make a character that focusses solely on heavy physical damage by increasing it's skill and the strength attribute well beyond 100. It will make so many potions and spells and enchantments actually useful. It will make the game so much better. Thank you.
Item sub-categories or folders that you can open and close. It's terrible to have to go through 500keys and documents to find a specific soul gem or potion.
Change the way turn undead, calm, command, etc work in relation to levels and spell effectiveness.
The fact that post level 25, these spells become totally useless, if you dare wear even a single piece of gear considered armor (spell effectiveness 95%), is such a huge design oversight. They shouldnt stop scaling at level 25. It ruins a whole host of unique build options.

The blunt weapon perks that grant Shield really need to be fixed/replaced, since they won't actually do anything in the late game for most characters because Shield just increases armor and the player's armor will already be effectively maxed out if they're wearing something like Daedric with decent Heavy Armor skill. This makes Blunt an objectively worse skill than Blade. The simplest solution would be to choose a different effect, while a more advanced solution would be to change the Shield effect itself to be useful to well-armored characters.

Could you please consider adding some sort of bestiary in the game for creatures? Would be game changing being able to check on the fly resistances of creatures you are fighting without alt+tabing to wiki or trying to memorize every creature in the game due to how many buffs, debuffs, resistances and weakness effects exist in the game. Could work similar to ingame "help" section but preferably with a shortcut button where you press a key and got rpg character sheet with the creature you are fighting and can clearly see what they can cast on themselves or what is best to use against them, very helpful on higher difficulties where you need to minmax your battles. Alternatively maybe just additional more clear buff debuff indicators on healthbars for things like reflect damage and elemental resistances?
This one is more fluff, but in-game references to the distant events of ESO would be awesome. Something like books carrying bard songs from the time of the Planemeld. The 2nd Era might not be well documented with such a large time gap and the Interregnum was hell on written records of the time period, but some scraps of history could have survived in book form such as the afore-mentioned bard songs. Classics like "Red Diamond", "The Planemeld is Neigh", and so on. Songs of the 2nd Era. Anyone?
Could we have multiple shortcut wheels? I like to level up everything & 8 is not enough for all that. I think even players that focus on one playstyle will still probably manage to use more than one shortcut wheel.

Make the Daedric artifacts more powerful. The Daedric artifacts should be more powerful than anything that the player can make on their own. Hence the key is making the Daedric artifacts to be more powerful hence making them worth getting from a role play perspective.
I'm gonna harp on the 2h-weapons thing again, I guess it's my hill do die on 🤣 The way they're set up right now, it's just not a viable playstyle. They either need to have a boost in damage output (and honestly, I think just a few points would do- I don't think it needs to be that the Daedric Warhammer needs to have a base damage of 40 or something, but maybe something on the way to it) and a boost in reach. It seems like the hit boxes and item models for the 2h weapons have shrunk- I've seen that written in a few places, and the proportions look off to me compared to the original game. I feel like the claymores in particular should have a much longer reach. Again, I'm not asking for them to be make game-breaking, but I think they need to be boosted enough to make them a viable playstyle.

All this is basically character customization related. Allow us to customize our body shape have like a single slider maybe like they did in DD2 but have the 0 be normal going left makes you a plumper character and going right adds more muscle. Maybe accentuate features better for both sexes like make better muscles/ plumper guys females better feminine features like chest and body while adding weight or muscles.
Also a gloss option in character creation I don’t typically like a dipped in oil looking character it looks crazy and weird but a little shine would be great. We currently look matte coming out of the creation menu. Oh Lastly longer hair options plz and more pants for females
A buff for two handed weapons would be very very nice! They are slow (as should two handed weapons be) but they dont have good damage to make up for their slowness. It seems like at the moment one handed weapons are better in everyway at the moment.

Current spell-building system makes native spells sort of useless. From roleplay perspective would be more enjoyable to have stricter boundaries for custom spells.
We still should be able to combine different effects, but at the same time they should not be too powerful and it will keep native master level spells relevant and the most powerful in the game.

honestly I created the account on this discord only to tell about how disappointed I am that there is no mod support for console. Pc have already tons of mods that fix a lot of bugs and adds even more features in comparison to which, I as a ps5 player feel deceived due to the fact that I have sort of a demo/beta version of the game. This needs to be addressed eventhough I'm aware that you did state that you will not support mods. I seriously need to reconsided abandoning consoles for the sake of PC if you plan to not support modding for your future games since it is just unfair. Also note that it's because of the modding all these games have survived this long.
For "storage safe" containers, it'd be nice to have your inventory come up alongside the containers contents by default. It's weird having to double tap the info button.
Add working cloud saves in Steam and a working ability automatic switch to a discrete video card when there is a built-in one, which does not allow Nvidia graphics to work with the screen directly (we are talking about devices with a MUX switch). It would also be nice to add normal optimization to the game. Agree, it's a bit of a shame that modders do it .
More of a slower paced suggestion given the already vast amount of content that Oblivion offers, but i think many players would enjoy something similar to the marriage and romance system in skyrim. Especially from a role play perspective, as I'm sure there are players who do playthroughs with a specific approach

Rather than the typical difficulty slider I think many sliders to control general damage elements would be better, as well as a toggle for world scaling or a static world for those who prefer a sense of progression.

I think expanding on the weapon quality is a good idea.
Instead of just Rusty, Normal, and Fine, we could also get Superb and Masterforge (currently only used on cutlasses, afaik), and have those be significantly better.
This would achieve two things:
1 - Give us a much greater pool of late-game gear.
2 - Provide us with powerful gear for late-game enemies, so we can avoid having simple bandits go around in full deadric sets.

It would be nice to see you put every Type A and Type B armor and clothing variant back in the game and make them obtainable and wearable on either body type. The majority Type B aesthetic, has the opposite effect in creating realism because gender roles are fundamentally not the same in the game World of Oblivion as in our real life history. Women hold very important positions of power in the world of TES on and off the battlefield, leaving Type A designs in the dust of this Remaster wasn’t called for because in the world of the game women would have armor fundamentally designed for them. I’m 100% not saying “add sexy armor” I’m saying slapping Type B onto everyone was a bad choice and legitimately removed a sizable chunk of designs from the game completely in favor of the Type B body type and overall male gender in a way that reflects our culture and not the culture inside the game world of Oblivion.
An optional patch with all the removed Type A designs would be amazing to see I’m not saying female characters need sex appeal, but I am saying I feel ridiculous in giant hockey pad Iron Armor as a smol woodelf. Is there not a world we could live in where both Type A and Type B variants of armor and clothing can be worn by one player character without the need for mods to add back in designs that got shoved out?

not sure if anyone has mentioned this but two handed weapons feel really sluggish, and bad in comparison to the original, it feels like they could really use like a buff to speed or something.
With the recent experimental release of Megalights in Unreal Engine 5.5, which promises to improve lighting performance with minimal cost to visuals, perhaps it would be worth providing an "experimental" setting in-game to turn off Lumen and use Megalights instead. After all, Epic Games demonstrated it as a one-click solution in the editor.

Please address the damage taken and received in the various difficulties. Adept is boring and easy. Expert doesn't even feel hard, its just broken. A mud crab should not be able to take 8 arrows to kill. I'm fine with enemies wrecking me I just want to be able to actually fight back and it feel like an actual fight, not just kiting or running away.
Please make it so that on PC, saves that you delete in game are just sent to the Recycling Bin. I just lost nearly 40 hours of progress on a character because I accidentally deleted the most recent save. And thanks to Steam's cloud acting up, it didn't get backed up.
Add a hold to sprint option!
A ‘Jump’ spell/enchantment like we had in Morrowind. I’m glad acrobatics is back but the skill in the remaster is weaker than in the og in that it doesn’t let you jump nearly as high which I really miss.. and once you do that bring the slow fall spell back (for obvious reasons).. and please have these features in ES6!!! Also we really need a way to delete custom spells

A DLC similar to Hearthfire but specifically for the City of Sutch near Kvatch. To be able to clear out the fort and pay to have it upgraded and brought back to its former glory under your rule. Turning it into a small city with a city guard like the fighter stronghold, a blacksmith, alchemist, magical salesman, etc. for our own city over time with upgrades. Maybe quests to acquire each shop owner.
An option for the inventory to show the total stack weight instead of the individual item weight
Better control over items you pick up! Allow us to rotate items, or move them further away/closer. Also, is if there's a way to remove the item 'spasm' when you pick something up.
I have very fond memories of decorating my houses with trophies on console back in the day, but it's nearly impossible to do on Oblivion Remastered on PC.

Shield bashing should be nerfed. Once you unlock the skill you can endlessly stagger lock pretty much all enemies if you know the timing for each one. I think you shouldn't be able to shield bash without fatigue, similar to power attacking.

Helvius Cecia, make so he can't fully die and only be knocked out. I was fighting guards and he somehow died locking thieves quest had to go back hours of my save. Either that or make him not required to be alive.

I have no idea if someone already mentioned this, But the race height, and camera height doesn't change at all.
for example; high elves should be taller in both 3rd and 1st person. Ive noticed that when compared to other high elves they tower over me and look down to me.
so my suggestion would be to add a race height slider in the character creation.
Edit After testing, while Riding a horse, saving and reloading fixes it. doing so with other races will change it to their proper height aswell. So this must be a bug.
Also, make it so all races get the vampire eyes when becoming a vampire. I've noticed that only the Imperial and Beast races have them currently.
Add a photo mode. This game is rather stunning at times and it’s hard to get a good picture.

A homesteading expansion which would allow you to buy one of five plots around Cyrodiil. Upon this plot you can build a farm house and a couple of fields on which to rear livestock and grow crops. As you level your farm, you can expand your farmhouse and farm and employ help who will have their own houses. You can build barns, mills, and sheds and grow more crops and rear more animals.
You can find a spouse and have children with them. Children would be added to cities around Cyrodiil and there'd be buildings such as schools and orphanages. Children can grow into adults and act as followers or farm workers or go off travelling themselves. They can be used to help on the farm or you can send them to school to become more skilled.
Seasons would feature as well as feasts and ceremonies such as for weddings, funerals and religious holidays. Other than marrying, you can divorce, become widow(er)ed and remarry. Funerals can be held for followers with a high enough disposition towards you, spouses, and offspring.
You'd also be able to open a mine on your land and start up a lumber camp too for mining and forestry.
I’m sure this has been said before, but I think with the new experience gain system the level scaling for enemies and loot needs to be spaced out a bit more.
There were some enemies and armour sets I spent very little time with if I encountered them at all just due to how fast the levelling is, and giving the levels some time to breathe I think will make for a far more rewarding time.
I’m around the level 18 mark on my current character having done very little in terms of question in the grand scheme of things (been to three cities, barely explored areas beyond the roads or the entire right side of the map) and I’m already encountering the strongest variations of some enemies.
Maybe adding even just a couple of levels between the spawning thresholds for stronger enemy types and armours I feel would make a lot of difference, especially when I know I’m stuck fighting ogres and minotaur lords for the next 40 hours of the playthrough

On the same theme, if it's possible to improve Bruma House to not be using this many different "cells" aka door with a loading screen. The pieces are all very small but all of them use a door with a loading screen. It makes sense in other places with big rooms. Not here...
why didnt the devs change something in every single house being a different worldspace/z-level/loading screen? Mods for open cities in Oblivion existed in 2006-2007, CPUs now are that much more powerful. Why the hell is everythign a separate location??

Add cleared under marker of dungeons when they are already cleared it would make our lives easier, also would be nice to add a museum just like Legacy of the Dragonborn mod adds to display all your unique items it makes collecting them worth it

Make magicka regeneration speed partially affected by intelligence or max magicka
The willpower improvements are nice, but intellogence/magicka should have some benefits to magicka recovery
I wish your horse would stay where you left it and there was a spell to teleport it to you instead of it just appearing outside of town.
I no longer remember how it was in the original but durability on items feels way too weak, I've found myself sometimes in need of repairing all my armor pieces a couple of times per dungeon, doesn't really matter how end game the armor was, everything feels extremely brittle, especially on npcs that follow you during quests, seeing npcs strip naked because their armor broke half way through the dungeon feels just as bad as is hilarious. Would be nice if the way durability is calculated is improved or you could at least ask npcs to repair their gear.
Some way to bookmark items in inventory would be helpful. For example, if I bookmark repair hammer and mortar, they should appear on top of my inventory list so I don't have to scroll every time. Same suggestion goes for spells.
Bethesda please make a mythic dawn guild DLC.
They should introduce a quest line for the white stallions , you get to become a member of the order with Mazoga the orc in leyawin but should definitely have a seriesnof quests related to that
I would love a dlc were you can rebuild Kvatch and the ability to change the Look of your Character after leaving the Severs

My sole suggestion is to open the game to the community, like you did for Skyrim, Fallout 4 and Starfield. Allow us to upload mods and creations on both consoles and PC and we’ll end up with a true masterpiece once again.

How about a survival mode with cooking and a bedroll and campfire you can lay down....
Allow the sell prompt to be turned off, or at least make it so that it doesn't dim the screen. Selling a lot of items turns my TV into a strobe light going from the ultra bright menu UI to the prompt and back over and over.
Opening up the game to creation content would be amazing for it in the long run. Bethesda games support a huge modding community and providing support to that community will help extend the longevity of the game

Can fast travel to our homes bring us directly inside the home? As a vampire I am escaping to my homes only to be burnt up because I am transported outside.
Suggestion:
In game objective floating markers - to make it’s easier to find exact objectives and bring it up to date with other games that offer this (Skyrim, for example).
I'd love to see the Golden Saint and Dark Seducer armors divided into seperate pieces.
- 2 player Co-op mode!
Create a system similar to ESO’s group instancing. That way, both players can solo quest without affecting the others. Then if they decide to group up, they will be on the same instance and can do quests together or go separate ways but remain on the same instance.

Give us a Bioshock 2-like Telekinesis spell (ideally if it also allows us to throw other NPCs around), just make sure it's not limp like it was in Skyrim!
Dark Messiah of M&M also had a nice Telekinesis, iirc.
Leave the current Telekinesis in the game for those who are creative with it in the spell-crafting or are simply enjoying the effect as is, though.
Also, make Frenzy affect creatures too (Deadra included)!
Have a Bedroll to bring out adventuring with you would be extremely helpful given how leveling works in game. Throw in a tent and camp fire and we got ourselves a proper adventuring kit.

My controller doesn't have a Share button, so to take a screenshot I need to press the middle Xbox button and then press Y - but pressing the middle button opens the Journal. As far as I can tell, this means there are no ways to take screenshots on Xbox.
Dear Bethesda, I'm an Elder Scrolls player since Morrowind and with Skyrim I'm in the Nexus scene as the italian translator of Skyrim Chiama Italia. I'm a huge fan of the modding scene and I play your game both of PC and PS5. Here are my suggestion so far: No loading screen into houses, Photo Mode, Survival Mode, Customizable HUD in size and placement, more markers on the maps, No Fast Travel to a locations if not discovered, a reduced compass discovery meter for new locations when nearby, Official Tools for Mods ( CK works I know), A very large available space for Mods on PS5/Xbox. But please, a Creation Club REVOLUTION. Comparing PC and PS5/Xbox scene is ridicolous. Why if playing on PC I can use tons of mods for free while if I play on Console there's a poor choice of free and paid content? If there's no plans to future DLC or something, please consider to realize something like Quake and Doom I+II with an official selection of mods fully compatible with the main game. Oblivion is an old game, but reborning like a Phoenix can be a fresh start since hardware is different than the original release.
Tabs that organize magic by school instead of Self/Touch/Target. Having tons of spells is extremely difficult to navigate even with the 'sort by school' option.

Ability to add custom markers on the map instead of them being automatically created. Most probably won't use it, but it's better for immersion. I also think players should be able to turn off compass icons and waypoints. They are distracting. Also, I think in addition to the regular favorites menu there should be the ability to pin things to the top of their respective categories in the regular menu.

Loving playing this game again. Was wondering if the team could add in some more visual settings; specifically on console. Have enchanted weapons recharge slowly over time, like in Morrowind.
A lot of them really aren't worth it and are too expensive to keep charged. Sword that disintegrates for 40 points, but only has about 6 hits and costs like 3k gold to recharge or about 8 grand soul gems filled with grand souls. I don't usually bother with enchanted weapons, or enchanting any myself, because of how expensive it is to charge them.
There’s a fair few items I’ve noticed that really should have their ‘ quest item ‘ status removed once you’ve done said quest so your inventory’s not full of stuff you no longer need. All of the misc letters you buy to upgrade your Bruma house are for some reason quest items forever even after you’ve bought everything, same goes for the Mythic Dawn pamphlets even after you’ve completed the relevant quest(s), some apparel e.g Vipereye ring and ingredients e.g Rumare Slaughterfish scales if you pickpocketed them back after that relevant quest. My item is clogged with items I’ve already done the quest for that I can’t get rid of on Xbox 😭
Any chance of fixing the Hermaeus Mora quest. The Mora's Soul Trap seems busted and it's not registering my kills on the quest
I’d love for the “You are over-encumbered” message to stop flashing in the corner of the screen. I can tolerate the slow walk back to town with a valuable haul. The constant blinking reminder? Not so much. 😬
There’s already an icon in the bottom right to indicate over-encumbrance. Have the message display briefly each time you go over the limit, or pick up another item while still over-encumbered. That’s all it needs to let players know what’s happening.
The ability to equip a shirt and pants underneath a robe would be great, for those of us who like the mage aesthetic but also want max enchants.

Implementing mod support with a paid mod system like Skyrim could benefit everyone. 1.) Modders would earn well-deserved income, encouraging higher-quality creations. 2.) Bethesda could provide robust tools like a Creation Kit or Construction Kit to streamline development. (Better than the 20 year old one we have now) 3.) Players would benefit by getting more content from paid mods AND see more free mods, and Bethesda would see increased revenue. It's a win-win for everyone!
would love to see more fluid animations for the claymores, (more than just two animations) i feel like they need some love, and an attack speed buff + damage buff, or just anything. they need a purpose because right now longswords just out shine them in my opinion 🙏
I would LOVE an option to hide helmet so we can see our character’s face while technically having the helmet still on
⚠️ PLEASE Reduce the FOG in closed in cells like caves and stuff. I posted screenshots of what HIGH vs LOW Shadows looks like and the LOW setting completely removes FOG indoors. You can see so much MORE detail on everything. the fog just takes away from the artstyle and color pallette. I dont want to use mods. I shouldnt have to use mods for stuff like this that wasnt in the original. 🙏🏻
I hope we see some of the UE5 jank the new rendering engine introduced fixed up if possible. The occasional looping sounds, ghost shields, or glitchy halos around object against the skybox in some instances are totally new bugs for the remaster and it holds back the otherwise utterly gorgeous massively for how distracting they can be
I would like on the PC side to change the Oblivion icon launcher/game loading to the one in the title screen. It looks bland IMO.

Spell Additions
Similar to shield spells to give a mage extra armor, adding spells to give weapons temporary enchantments based on the class of magic, simple examples would be Fire, Frost, and Lightning for destruction, Absorb Health, Stamina, and Magicka for restoration. These could either overwrite the enchantments on weapons for the duration of the spell (if they are enchanted) or be blocked from casting if an enchanted weapon is equipped. This would give a players the option to be a pure spell caster by using bound armaments then giving their temporary weapon A temporary enchantment. also would give players the option to simply carry an un-enchanted weapon to be as versatile as posable. Could even add on target spells to give the enchantments to NPCs around them.

[Suggestion] Reduce the value of respawning unique items like Raiment of the Crimson Scar to 0. Currently it respawns daily and sells for absolute max gold at literally any vendor(because it's worth 24512) and while people can of course choose not to do it, I do feel this is an oversight
change how the levelled loot from DLC like Fighter's Stronghold is calculated. it's affected by when the DLC is installed, not just player level. since it's now "base game content" most of the gear from it is locked to level 1
I was thinking: I really like the graphic work in the remaster, but maybe I would add some atmospheric fx, especially to the Jerall Mountains (the snowy ones) like in Skyrim where they have some clouds, mist, ground fogs, snow fx... I believe, if possible, it would improve much more the overall graphic fidelity of the game.
Mousing over any gear should give details, like soulgem soul size, sigil stone enchantments, gear stats, etc. Sometimes mousing over things works, but sometimes not. It never works on sigil stones. Have to click them each time to see what they do :/
Nerveshatter enchantment is still bugged. A 5 second duration needs to be added to the weakness to shock.
more oblivion planes/gates (the cells that are inside the gates) they get repetitive and old pretty fast, right?
Appreciate the support for this game! Oblivion was in my top 5 fav games, but this remake might have just made it number 1 for me. I'm looking forward to more updates. I would only ask for performance fixes on consoles and PC (I'm on PS5) and I'm hoping for Mod support. Some kind of official DLC in the future would be awesome, whether that be made in house through bethesda/virtuos or something akin to the creation club Bard's College Skyrim mod/expansion that I've heard about. Idk if the deluxe edition is a testing ground for that, but I think it could be great if it is done right and stays lore accurate.
Allow my flame atronach wife to follow me normally over bodies of water if I cast water-walking on her. Currently she just stands still after walking 10 feet and then drowns when the spell wears off. I love my wife and I want her to be able to follow me when I cross rivers and such.
Really the only change Oblivion needs is an updated loot table for the early game which includes more, and a greater variety of potions, and more enchanted weapons and armor with basic, low level enchantments.
restore the original shock spell icons, as it is it looks very similar to summon skeleton. the shock shield effect has a lightning icon, just use that or reuse the original game's icon instead to make it more distinct.
I would really like the Khajiit appearance to get fixed. That permanent mane should be an optional thing. The fur on the front of the body could use a tune up as well. The sprinting animation could be a lot better as well.
I wish claymores were buffed either damage or speed wise. I feel like longswords are just so much better.
I would just really, really like to see the memory leaks be stopped up. I'm going from 70-80 avg fps at load, to 12-15 avg in the span of 6-7 minutes. I have to periodically save and relaunch the game to avoid crashing.
I don't know if this has already been suggested, but I think that a weight and possibly even a height slider would really help tie character creation together even more. I don't know how possible it would be with the armor meshes and animation skeletons already being in place, but it would really help with role-play.
All i ask for is to be able to put books on bookshelves like in skyrim

Could we have a buff for the champions raiment you get for completing the arena quest line? The light one broke for me at level 25 after a single fight.
Claymores and other twohanded weapons could use a damage buff, there is no real incentive to use them with their slow attack speed and negligible damage difference.
Hello, I would really appreciate having the ability to customize the difficulty with separate sliders for damage given and damage received, the way that Starfield does it. Either that or some difficulty between adept and expert. I play on ps5 and can't use mods to fix this.
Something I'd like to see: Some way to still access oblivion gates after beating the story (if it hasn't already been officially done in the remaster) Maybe part of some new story content where perhaps the Psijic Order opens a time pocket at the former location of an oblivion gate so you can run that content again and you don't lose access to Sigil Stones and such. (been a long time since I thought about the Psijic order but if I recall correctly they have something to do with Time travel.)

Better eating animations for NPCs, they used to open their mouth and chew, now they just lift the food to their face and you hear the noise but that's it.

Please add a repair all option when repairing your gear. Tapping X over and over is very tedious.
Firstperson Body
Please change how you handle shortcuts / quick select for the radial menu in inventory like such in Fallout 3/4, so you hold down the key (i.e. "1"), then you select the item / gear you'd want to assign to that shortcut. The current state of it keeps giving me miss clicks & miss assigns (For example, I just want to see what I have in "1" as my shortcut, but the game assigns whatever my cursor is pointing at as "1" in the shortcut).
Also, show how many of said stuff we have in shortcut. For example if I select potion of healing in "1", holding "1" should show me how many I have left in my inventory (again, like how you have it in FO3/4) instead of consuming it directly.

Make the starlight and light spells color closer to original oblivion, miss that coloration.
Make the stonework throughout the game less brown and regular stone looking, and bring it closer to the original Oblivions white-gold aesthetic.
Please add a lens flare effect when looking at the sun, and if possible, improve volumetric clouds to reduce pixelation, add more variety, and make them look fluffier.
Can we get BLOCK BASH to work with two handed weapons and one handed? Not just for shields? Just a simple pommel animation that butts the enemy?

An option in difficulty settings to turn off automatic health regen like it was in the original would be nice. The game is so easy already on adept, but with this, clearing dungeons would be much more interesting without proper preparation.

Difficulty Scaling fix, PLEASE. Adept is too easy: If I'm able to kill enemies in a few slashes or arrows, at least make them do as much damage to my character. It would make taking out enemies more satisfying as you would also need to utilize the blocking mechanic.

Hello, I play on PS5, 1. first of all I would remove the hitches Stutters it's annoying more than frame drops 2. I would add some options for quick item selection during combat the selection wheel is too small , aexample right arrow, left arrow(as in Horizon Zero Dawn) you make yourself an elixir but you don't use them during the fight because it's tiring to go into the menu and look for them every time and the places in the circle are occupied by weapons and spells .3 Fix the difficulty level, I don't mind dying from one two hit, but the problem is when a regular goblin takes 20 hits(expert)

Hello, another suggestion if I may: please change the way in which the calming spell works, I find it for it to be effective, it should function in a similar way to Skyrim’s spell, such as disengaging the enemy from combat, not just stopping the enemy from attacking! Thank you for your time 🙂
I would suggest a Survival Mode (like Skyrim) with disabled fast travel, hot/cold, sleep, hunger etc. would massively improve roleplaying and immersion
Please add More Cut Content that was either a concept or idea for Original Oblivion! A Great Example would be the Werewolves! I know there’s no actual models left in the Creation kit but there’s data left in the game files about werewolves and I believe there’s actually still a npc werewolf named Werewolf01 but as the models/textures and animations were never added to the Creation kit it’s invisible to my understanding, Werewolves were intended to be in Oblivion, as confirmed by leftover sound files in the game’s data (VO\PC\Werewolf). These include transformation sounds, growls, and more. Some scripts reference lycanthropy too. Another cool thing that would be fun to have is the playable races that were cut such as Playable Dremora, and the Ayleid Race! And A HUGE one id love to see is the Factions that were cut as well such as The Elder Council (Joinable faction), The Mythic Dawn (Joinable Faction), Order of the Dragon (not sure if joinable), Arena Spectators’ Guild / Arena Underground, Vampires (Joinable Faction for Vampires), The Shadowscales (Joinable faction for argonians), and some minor factions/guild like The Synod / College of Whispers, Imperial Legion Subdivisions, The Morag Tong, Ayleid Remnants, Goblin Tribes , Smugglers or Thieves Guild Rivals, and finally Forsaken Mages or Necromancer Circles! And my last one I’d suggest is Kvatch Rebuilt as that was also cut content or planned content! Please if anyone agrees with me let’s show them we really want these things!

Return the head of Jiub to Kvatch to restore the easter egg, also when you go to Kvatch to get help for Bruma the daedra are respawned there, it is frustrating that I loaded game so many times to have the ppl there alive only to be killed because of the bug by high level daedra (strongly disagree with the comment bellow, end of Jiub should not be changed or it will ruin some of the lore)
Make block, armor skills, weapon skills, and hand to hand gain XP based on the damage inflicted/taken before including modifiers from difficulty.
As it is it makes it so that power attacks level weapon skills up much SLOWER than weak hits which feels kind of backwards and unintuitive.
Also It feels kind of weird that armor skills and block level at the same rate no matter if you fight a mudcrab or high level dremora.
Please add quality of life improvements for both the inventory and favourites tab. A recent items tab for inventory as well as more filters to sort spells would be perfect and a favourites tab similar to Skyrim would make the game a lot more enjoyable.

Claymores are kind of weak and feel frustrating because of their two hit+pause combo animation. Levels of weapon skills should either add another hit to the combo animation or reduce the pause between strikes
An experience slider. Due to minor skills now contributing to levelling (which I think is good), levelling is now much faster. Not sleeping should not be considered a solution. I would like to see levelling slowed down by something like 20-50%. I feel like a slider would be relatively easy to implement. No need to mess around with individual skills or the new mechanics such as spell strength, value of goods sold etc that have also been changed for the better, simply make each skill level slower than it currently does. At a rate that can be modified somewhat by the player. I have gone from 5-14 inside about 6 hours. And haven't done anything particularly game breaking like sneaking into a wall, jumping on a bed or making hundreds of potions. Just playing normally. It means I have blown past several enemy types and gear levels barely seeing them come into the game. I used to always try and fully kit my player out in the best gear for his level. Chainmail at six. Mithril at ten etc. Now I'm seeing eleven gear and still haven't finished a chainmail outfit. In other Bethesda games sleeping or perks enable 10%xp gain so I hope it's a relatively simple fix to nerf. Thanks.
Could you please rework how shortcut system works? I'm talking about more customizable shortcuts, maybe a toggle for shortcut bar that is always displayed - personally I have terrible memory and I struggle to remember what I put on the wheel more often than not and having equivalent of "mmo bar" would help out a lot. More additional keybinds like ctrl+number for more shortcuts, dedicated shortcut for recharging without needing to go into inventory, for repair hammer or mortar and pestle without needing to put in onto wheel or scroll through long list of items in order to find them.
two handed weapons need some serious help in this game.
because of the new anims, their attack speed is less than half that of the original game, but their damage wasn't increased by nearly enough to compensate, if increased at all. they should be some of the strongest weapons per-hit in the game, with weapons like Volendrung able to crush anything in its way. instead it does 8 less damage than Umbra while swinging barely a third as fast
i honestly think a 2x damage buff on almost all of them wouldn't even be out of the question. maybe something like 1.8 on the strongest examples. it's crazy that bows got buffed so hard but two handed weapons got so nerfed.
Please give us a new story expansion! With all the success this remaster has had, I think it shows it would be worth it! I’d pay $30 for a new story with weapons and armor!
Suggestion:
Since Hand to Hand is seemingly worse than before, can we make the either the Block Bash skill available for HtH/Two Handed Weapons for fun mix ups, interrupts and damage or allow Hand to Hand damage to scale with both Strength and Agility.
Please allow for optional dual wielding (both weapons and spells in each hand) but keep the bumper as a main spell, too.
This would provide the best of both worlds, and would allow hardcore mages to equip 3 active spells without needing to use the cumbersome favourites radial all the time. It would also allow users to use bows, two handed, etc while still being able to cast a bumper spell, so everyone gets what they want.
Add a player character only option to show or not show the helmet, while still keeping it equipped
How about letting us save up unused training sessions.
I wish I could walk at the speed of an NPC I'm following. On xbox it feels like there are only two speeds.

Walking on the thin line of life and death, at the end of that line he would be there. I am of course talking about our glorious boar Porkchop!
I want Bethesda to give a good look at itself and be ashamed. How could you make Porkchop just disappear after our glorious battle together. How could you forget ma boi while he always had my back in the toughest moments? This is a scandal, an outrage I say!
My suggestion to Bethesda is as follows:

Find a Elder Scroll and rewrite the laws of Aurbis to make porkchop immortal. Because we all know Porkchop is eternal.

I know this has been said again and again but rework the difficulty.
Fix the Beast Tails disappearing when wearing robes and heavy armor issue. Also we need Capes! Even if they don’t add any enchantments or anything just being able to have them would be cool. Or heck give them the ability to be enchanted and be able to find some in loot.
Please please just make pants and skirts separate so anyone can pick what they want to wear. Also the female armor from the first game, like make it an option to find the OG armor on NPCs or in shops or something. You attempted to be inclusive by changing it to body 1 and body 2, but didn't implement any actual changes that allow for real self expression. It's all talk unless you make a real change. And changing all the armor to mens armor isn't inclusive, giving the choice is. Women are allowed to want to be hot too, just like they're allowed to want to have more covering in their armor. Taking away a choice isn't inclusive
This is kind of a small one but is there anyway we could get the female version of the daedric helmet back it looked so much better
stop level scalling the way you do, make the different area approate to the level your character is. a 1st shouldn't be able to fight a dragon!
Rename the "Newlands Lodge" to "Newlands Cornerclub" to better reflect its Dunmer ownership and improve the immersion of Cheydinhal which is supposed to be a town with heavy Dunmer influence. Dunmer always call their inns cornerclubs to the point where they even do so in Windhelm.
I would love more accessibility options.
Being able to change HUD and UI elements, or even remove them entirely would be fantastic.

A centralized, intuitive UI for mod settings would dramatically improve user experience and empower mod authors to create cleaner, more accessible tools—without bloating the player’s inventory or magic menu.

It's very weird that she is a skeleton in this game and is all of a sudden a corpse that still has skin in Skyrim.
This is kinda a general elder scrolls suggestion that I think would be a cool immersive add: have some way to better control objects and how to rotate and place them ? Like decorating our house and stuff with the new cool stuff we find. Maybe even being able to add weapon racks and stuff like Skyrim had. Idk how possible that is but I thought it’d be a cool idea for immersion sake
I really only have two suggestions. First, the controller is rough on this game. The movements and actions have a noticeable difference to the Mouse/Keyboard. Input is rough, like a game that just introduced it in Beta. Second, the game needs to be optimized. I have a pretty awesome setup, and the game isn't horrible but it is pretty rough for what it is. I have completed all available tech steps to improve performance to make it just past the line of playable, but it really needs to be better than this. I understand the second one will probably take some time and I'm not the first or the hundredth person to say something. The controller one feels like a next patch type thing. Some basic vr mode with just ps dualsense support would be a huge step that should be fairly easy to implement. The resolution hit to reach 90 native would be substantial I'm sure, but well worth it in my opinion.
bring back first person horse riding and add horse combat, also add a smithing skill to make your own stuff, add armor manequins and weapon holders to all player houses, particularly horn castle. add a mechanic for players to learn how to dragon shout through study, could be done by adding some new nordic themed dungeons in northern cyrodil, revamp the follwer system to be more indepth than even the skyrim one, i.e. change their base outfit, have them learn new skills and add the marriage mechanics revamped. add pets as followers too.

Hi everyone at Virtuous. I'll try to be brief.
Female Armor fitting is not aesthetically pleasing and looks incorrect. Females seem to be wearing the Male armor variants, slightly shaped to fit their bodies, making them look bulky.
I know what your obligations and your guidelines are when it comes to these things. We don't want stereotypic skimpy bikini armors, but I think you can create something that looks slick and fashionable, something that flows better with the female body form, without falling into harmful stereotypes, I think there's a middle ground we can reach here. The Male armor fitting looks incredible, it accentuates the Male body form, I think it should be the same with Female armors.
Think of it this way, Men are like Tanks, Females are like sports cars.
Please reintroduce the OG female variants for armors and clothing into the Remaster I thought it was a bug before finding out it was a design choice, the Amber armor and iron will be missed, as will Sheogorath's Regalia being turned into a dress for female chars T.T

Can we please add lycanthropy to oblivion. Whether it's through Hircine's ring, or catching it from new werewolf mobs it doesn't matter but I've always been a werewolf from bloodmoon to skyrim even ESO. It felt like such a missing thing in 06 and still feels missing in the remaster.
I see only one other message addressing this, but please look to correct the issue with DirectX 12 not allowing a lot of us to get into the game. Departed having DirectX 12, the game is requiring 12_2 which is not readily available for a lot of systems despite the requirements being very similar. Please provide an option to run on 12_0 so we can also play the game! Thank you!

Make book shelves, display cases, and weapon racks useful. I hve a giant castle with bookshelves and display empty, it looks ridiculous.

In general, I like the approach that OS Runescape takes with creating "fantasy content" that never existed in the original game. I'm sure it would be a huge task, but would love to see DLC added to Oblivion Remastered that explores (even a small portion) of the lands beyond Cyrodil.
Please relook at the difficulty and upscaling issues. Maybe even add a permadeath/ iron mode option. Is it too early to ask for Skyrim in UE5? 😬
Oblivion is a landmark and if it were to take on a dlc, id reccomend taking a look at a combination of skyrim hearthfire and fable's landlord system. Imagine buying all the land in anvil and letting it become run down, or making bravil into a rich estate. Have nonquest npcs move around between cities, and of course replace dead npcs with a mix of generic and custom new npcs who buy out those homes from the local lords (or you)
Cost of rent combined with how much you use the local shops and with how much loot you leave behind on dead enemies in the city/its nearby territory could affect the value of the city. Crime could lower the value.
Just think itd be rad and would add flavor to the game

- Horse update
Feed horses to increase their stats, incorporate horse riding into athletics for leveling. Horse combat. Eventually the player grows faster than the horses and they can’t progress their athletics or acrobatics while riding. This makes horses useless.

Please allow players to create custom spells and enchantments with "instant" effect. For me one of the biggest issues with original spell/enchantment making was that all effects have a minimum 1 second duration, meaning that every custom damaging spell/enchantments are effectively applying damage over time and it's clunky to use them.
It also means that daggers with custom enchantments are less effective because they hit an enemy 1 time per second, overriding previous effect before it applied all the damage.
Alright we need a SECOND SHORTCUT WHEEL PLEASE BETHESDA or Virtuos it would be so nice on consoles but especially pc Everyone who wants this like this post and or others who have posted about it aswell

I can never tell the difference if an oblivion gate is closed or open if I closed it or not. Perhaps make it so that the icon on the world map to show that it has been completed?

This most commonly used keys are [SPACE] to rise towards the surface (as your jump key) and [CTRL] to dive deeper (as your crouch key). I find myself using the keys while in the water and would adore the functionality in Oblivion Remastered.

Difficulty on Adept is way too easy, difficulty on Expert makes all mobs damage sponges. Need the old difficulty slider or something done about enemy health/damage reduction

More display options in owned homes. Weapon racks would be great, and a way to display armor better, maybe not mannequins. It'd also be great to have a clean way to stack books on bookshelves. All of these are available in Skyrim, fingers crossed it can be done here too

I was hoping you guys could add some kind of cure for chokeberry’s/poison apples or at least allow for their poisoning effect to run out. I accidentally ate a chokeberrry and healed myself over and over assuming it would go away eventually. After it didn’t I discovered that the effect does not end, and it has been so long since I was initially poisoned, that I no longer have a pre poisoned save. I’ve essentially lost my entire 190 hours of gameplay.
Suggestion:
Change the Dark Brotherhood dark door to depict only 5 children (as it is stated in the lore) instead of 7 (what currently depicts in the remaster)

When it comes to acrobatics/speed/athletics, I’d like to have an option to avoid jumping super high or running super fast later in the game. Sometimes you just wanna hop over a small rock and not leap high into the air. Lol Maybe we can hold the jump button, or hold another button and jump to utilize higher acrobatics or really high run speed? I don’t want to be unrealistically fast or high jumping all the time, just sometimes and I don’t want those abilities taken away from others. Maybe a slider or toggle in the menu?
Suggestion: Mounted combat. Dismounting for every wolf and bandit is a little bit tiring imo.
Please make Nirnroot glow at night in Oblivion Remastered, like in Skyrim, to make it easier to spot from a distance, in addition to its sound.
Frostcrag should magically rise when you go there the first time. It's a huge eyesore with modern load distance, and appearing later or maybe through an activation spell scroll you can find, would be better than it lurking above you anytime you are in the central lands of Cyrodiil.
It just shouldn't be visible till you "get" it. However works.
Perhaps add some quest relating to the add on player homes like battleborn castle and Frostcrag Spire
Example: After reaching level 20, a battleborn soldier would come find you after hearing of your deeds. He request your help in retaking battleborn castle from some marauders lead by a former battleborn, you must then lead the remaining soldiers to siege the castle and defeat the marauders inside to reclaim castle battleborn.
make the oxygen meter for underwater depend on your athletics and endurance values
Make the female voices better, like make them sound more feminine
Please improve hit sounds when attacking humans/creatures. Even when you attack an unarmored NPC or a wolf, it sounds like you’re smacking a wall with a hammer
To add to that, improve armour related sounds when moving. Leather sounds like walking on fresh snow.
Allow drinking potions from the container inventory
Allow us to craft Weapons/Armor by using forges around oblivion using the smithing skill

I would LOVE it if we could choose tails for Kahjit in-game. When we create our characters, give us a choice of thick or thin tails.
Or that someone would make a **'Fluffy Tail' **mod for Kahjit. Their tails are so mangey, lol.

Please make Oblivion gates visible from a distance in Oblivion Remastered. This would help players track closed gates, locate new ones, and add a striking visual at night, encouraging exploration for new players. For those who find it visually cluttered, it would motivate closing gates to clear the landscape.
Make the bound armor spell for the mythic dawn something you can acquire.
When you clear a dungeon/cave etc. Ensure that it has a marker to indicate that it has been cleared (similar to skyrim)
Future update suggestion:
Restore the Goblin Wars as originally conceived in OG Oblivion that never functioned fully. This seems like the perfect time to fully realize this cool idea.
Remove the plant picking animations, they're weird, I'd prefer the plant just plain instant disappearing over the animation. Thank you.
Nobility quest line reinstated. A large, post main quest faction quest line whereby you join the ranks of the nobility and eventually rise to become the Count(ess) of Kvatch. This would give you governance over the city and wider county which would constitute around 6 villages. The tasks you perform include raising taxes, funding and maintaining an army, fielding that army against other armies, hosting tournaments, rebuilding Kvatch itself, and providing for the county.
If you run the town well, it will be a wealthy city with all possible amenities and will match or even exceed Skingrad in splendour and beauty. If you're corrupt, the city will be shabby and crime ridden and you'll have to contend with frequent riots.
As count(ess) Kvatch, you get three homes. Castle Kvatch, a private town manor, and a country estate. You'd also get access to a luxuriant townhouse in the Imperial City as you'd have a seat on the Elder Council.
Other new gameplay features might include battles and battle management, and mounted combat.
Make the night mother's corpse look like it does in Skyrim and the Molag Bal shrine actually look like Molag Bal! It feels very inconsistent between the games lore wise

I would love a difficulty that's similar to the Brutal Mode in Shadow of War. In oblivion's case (Using Master Difficulty in the example) instead of it simply being Enemy's Damage: 6x vs Player's damage 1/6 -- it would instead be Enemy's Damage: 6x vs Player's Damage 6x or something of that nature. I love that enemy's feel like a threat in the game in the higher difficulty, but the way they are a damage sponge feels not as fun. I would love a high risk high reward type of difficulty where if I play right I'll be able to kill them quickly, but any false move they can kill me just as fast.
First person horse riding was removed, which breaks the immersion for first person players, first person horse riding never should have been removed.
Please increase the stat cap above 100 because some mobs become way more stronger than you lategame

I know a full smithing mechanic is too much to implement but maybe we could pay a smith to forge specific items which would take 24 hours or something. Or at least be able to find all weapon and armor types in chests. It looks like you can still only find fine steel weapons in specific places for example.
Could you consider adding random children npcs to the game? Whenever I play Skyrim the world feels much more authentic and lived by simply because it has children npcs that play around and talk sass to eachother. World of Skyrim feels much more "homely". I don't know, maybe it's just me. It's not only about the good vibes though, Oblivion likes to hit hard with certain quests, tragedy is a part of life after all. Everybody likes to talk about Lucien Lachance conclusion for example, jumping from that thought - Fighters guild ending with Maglir doesn't really give the feelings of somber emotion, the only thing people talk about is funny painting of Modryn. All the player feels is revenge for the guild and Amelion's daughter, even when fighting against ex coworker who as far as we know did nothing morally wrong. IMHO it would hit the player differently if Maglir actually had a family in one of the cities waiting for him. It's always additional depth added to the world.
Please add a sound effect for hearing rain from inside houses and other indoor locations in Oblivion Remastered when it's raining outside.
I strongly suggest removing paralysis from archers, it doesn't seem like good gameplay to me to be paralyzed for 2 minutes straight
Release the Oblivion OST on vinyl
Introduce constant bonus Health, Fatigue, or Shield so the other races can have something equivalent to Breton, High Elf, and Orc.
For example Nord could have 15% Shield, Redguard Bonus 50 Fatigue, Imperial Bonus 50 Health, stuff like that.
Could give non combat related passives, like Imperials find 10% more gold, Argonians have a chance to gather an additional ingredient.
Adjust some of the Birthsigns so they don't become redundant after reaching 100 in an Attribute.
Adding negatives to On Self spells should reduce their Magicka cost.
Please restore the original sound effects for quest updates and completions in Oblivion Remastered, as it’s unclear if their absence is a bug or a design choice.

I recommended the same! According to Elder Scrolls' own lore, Werewolves and Werelions are supposed to infest Cyrodiil's Great Forest, so adding the ability to fight, contract, and become a Werewolf or Werelion (depending on what you get attacked by), is insanely lore-friendly. They could also add in a skill tree for what you become, like in Skyrim, or to have it progress like Vampirism in Oblivion, with dreams and all: As in, the more you transform, the better a Wolf or Lion you become, able to become stronger, more powerful, as you get more used to Hircine's Blurse, inevitably being able to transform at will for a short while, and then being able to change and stay shifted for as long as you want with complete mastery. I think this would be incredible, and of course how you look would determine what your race and hair colour is, though I know making a model for every possible hair color on top of every race is a lot... but, I believe they could do it!
Please adjust the persuasion minigame camera angle in Oblivion Remastered. The angle change is unnecessary when using the face zoom conversation option, as NPC expressions are already clear. Reserve the angle shift for non-zoom conversation settings. The current shift feels jarring, making it seem like the NPC is talking to someone else. Also, polish the face zoom during conversations—camera movement feels stiff and "breaks" before focusing on the NPC. Make it smoother, like the original game.
The Blackwood Armor needs to be black and the unique etching on the pauldrons needs to come back as well. This is a base travesty.
To rebuild Kvatch, where the player becomes the count or countess. It has always annoyed me that it was left as a ruin.

Guild Expansion DLC
New quests and content for every major guild and possibly minor ones like the Order of Virtuous blood could play a role in a Dawnguard style DLC

Vampires go bald don't think this is intended and if it is it shouldn't.
Can we get a wee "cleared" icon next to map markers of dungeons we already cleared?
Please increase subtitle size further in Oblivion Remastered, as the current "large" option is still hard to read for players with myopia. Also, optimize the HUD for TV players, as it feels designed primarily for PC, making it difficult to read on larger screens.
FYI, Dungeons and caves aren’t permanently cleared, they repopulate after a few in game days. But at least an “entered” icon would work. Something to tell us we’ve already been inside.
Give two handed weapons more damage as it doesn’t feel stronger than single handed weapons. It’s way slower for the same amount of damage output.
Keyboard look (with NumPad) is a feature I love when taking a rest from using the mouse. But because I play on a low mouse sensitivity the NumPad moves the view so slowly it's practically useless. I don't know if we can have a separate slider, that would be nice, but otherwise please adjust how slow it goes with a lower sensitivity.
Would also be nice to be able to re-assign the keys, also indicating the feature exists to those who don't know this.

I would like a road map so we have an idea if/when bugfix patches, QOL tweaks, or (least likely) new content is planned, so we can all at least align our expectations with the intended reality.

Im not sure if it has been me mentioned yet, but, I LOVE the enemy level scaling. That being said, I think the Arena enemies need to have fixed levels so you feel more and more pressure as you climb, like to the point that you're potentially barred from progression in the ranks because the enemies become un beatable if you're under leveled. Grand Champion should be cream of the crop leveled max hp and strength and damage reduction from max level armor. Going into the Arena at a high level you should basically mop the floor with early fights and see them getting progressively less easy. I waited until about level 29 to do the Arena and every enemy felt exactly the same, from beginning to end.
Im not good at balancing acts in games but dividing each rank bracket into levels would be awesome.
First bracket of rank could be level 1, level 2, level 3.
2nd bracket starting at 5, 6, 7.
Next bracket 9, 10, 11. Etc. I am just giving examples. It would take some testing and tuning for certain. Also the stats are key to each individual enemy you face as well. Maybe even give them unique weapons and spells as well, in last few brackets. (Potentially giving the NPC a "last ditch effort spell too" haha)
As well as increased rewards for player gold wise. (Not too important)
My buddy rushed the Arena at low level and climbed through to the end without much issue. This is his first ever RPG. Unlike me, who grew up with Elder Scrolls from Morrowind release on, this is his first ever RPG. There should be significant challange to the Arena since it would make more sense as an extra challenge for player as I feel was intended.
Please give us the option to change appearance mid-game. Even a haircut would be great 😃👍 These are long playthroughs and it would be a massive QOL update.
Since there are already shortcuts for the Character and Inventory menus on controller (up and right on the d-pad, respectively), holding the start button should be the shortcut for the System menu. Would be super convenient

Make horses useful, with saddlebags for loot, first person view and horse back combat.
Don’t know if this has already been noted but I’ve experienced a couple of quest breaking bugs that have been more or less exclusive to the thieves guild quests
Thought of something else: Armor stands. We know it can be done, you have the crusaders relics for example. I love all the armor sets in oblivion, but, can't wear em all at once!
Make the male characters more JACKED, Skyrim-style
I ran killed a bandit today, and then found out he had a dog. I do not want to kill the dog. I want to be able to pet the dog. Maybe adopt the dog? My pacify spell was too temporary a solution, though it lasted long enough to leave the area, I'm worried the dog might go hungry.
Let us pet the dogs and adopt them.
would be nice if armor didn't degrade if skill level is at 100. maybe make it for heavy armor only to give more of a reason to use heavy armor. Right now armor doesn't last very long in fights and having only 8 quick access don't want to waste one binding repair tools and don't want to enchant clothing with shield either.

Xbox Series X, when taking armor and weapon from a Reman stone, sometimes it allows you to sheath and wield again without losing the weapon. Other times it does not. Sometimes you can mount a horse and not lose the weapon, other times you can't mount without losing the weapon.
I would suggest to include some command line or remove some command line into the game program which should help improve the QoL of the game or the overall experience of the players 🤭

It would be very nice if Sheogorath could give us a room to store all our loot (and a place to sleep) in the Palace of New Sheoth.
I know you get the room of the Duke or Dutchess you replace, but, atm those are marked as not even being owned by me. Also Syls dead body double is still laying in a corner of my bed room that may or may not be marked as mine.
Favorited weapons should appear on our character at all times—sheathed weapons really do add to our character’s overall look. For example, if my battle axe is favorited but my sword is out, the axe would still be visible on my back. Make it so the last two weapons that you selected are the ones that appear on your character (when possible)
It would be great for vampire characters to not go bald at stages 3 and 4 and for vampire NPCs to not be bald. Additionally if all human races could get the unique vampire eyes. It seems only Imperial characters get the unique vampire eyes.

Better menu organization/inventory management. Potions separate from ingredients. Books separate from soul gems. Spells sortable by school. Spells telling you what level you have to be at to cast it.
I weigh in my voice to the Claymore adjustment. I dont mind two swing animations but make the second follow up faster so you can parry the enemy at least.
To add: if your last two selected weapons are one-handed, they should both appear sheathed on each of your hips. It’s not true duel wielding but it would at least look cool imo. It could work similarly for two-handed weapons so you could have two swords on your back in an X shape—that would look so sick.
The option to see our own torso/legs/feet in first person (and have them cast shadows) would be nice.
Please give us the ability to merge Sigil stones to create a Great Sigil stone with both enchantments. This would finally allow us to create armor and jewlery with more than one enchantment, allow for more variety in the sets we can create. This would go a long way in making us more powerful especially in higher dificulties. Please consider it, thanks in advance.
Make the player's tail collide with stuff like npc tails do. When I crouch my tail just clips into the ground.

The persuasion mini game UI is impossible to understand compared to the original one, I don't like it. Even worse is in dark areas with imperial city guard wearing their helmets makes it impossible to read their expressions and play this mini game. It's frankly not usable, it was my favourite mini game in the original and now I can't use it.
Split difficulty setting into two settings: player damage done and player damage taken
The ability to transmog armour and weapons or have variations of armour/weapons, also the ability to put books on a bookshelf like in Skyrim, would be fantastic.
Please raise the max level from 44. I beginning to hate Oblivion Remastered. Original Oblivion leveling is better!!

The line trees in the games especially in the snow area... the texture on it is horrible. Cant even see the pine needles. Please improve on textures.

QoL tweak: When you get the Skeleton Key that lets you unpick all locks, have auto-attempt always immediately unlock the door rather than have you auto-attempt multiple times when it will succeed every time anyway

The ability to delete custom spells.
Pressing square while an arrow is nocked puts the bow away, make it so the character first cancels the arrow, and press square again to THEN put the bow away
It would be nice if the Bruma Mage’s Guild wasn’t always on fire after that quest. At a minimum, putting the fire out would be nice. But it would be nice if it got rebuilt and new NPCs moved in, even if they’re the same type of generic mages seen at the Arcane University. Having someone who seeks the items the dead merchants there had would be nice, especially since you can only get Summon Dremora Lord from the one guy there before he dies. This always bugged me from the original release. Felt similar about the Blackwood Company building after that quest. Someone should take it over.

also most of these suggestions are asking them to create basically full on content mods I think mainly they are asking for suggestions on "quality of life" style fixes and tweaks to bring the game up to parr ui/stats/gameplay but don't expect them to add full on DLCs or quest chains/new locations.
Throwing this out there, could we get an small out of the way housing option? Something like the water front shack or a farm/fort in the middle of nowhere? Potentially you could store horses at said farm. There's already tons of abandoned places anyways so it could fit in well and not change much. For people who don't want something huge/obvious or with neighbors, something simple.
It is my hope that you developers strongly consider immersion when updating this game. The Oblivion crisis doesnt really feel believable. We, the hero appear to be the only ones out in the world fighting and closing gates. I would to see more events happening in the overworld. Seeing fellow adventurers exploring dungeons, members of the fighters guild, legionares inside Oblivion gates, attempting to close them. Traveling merchants ect. I feel alone in the open world of Oblivion and its a shame because the world is so beautiful.
Please consider adding more life to it like you did in Skyrim.
I would be grateful, as would others I imagine.
Make the locks different for different structures. Why do the citadel doors of the oblivion spires have the same locksmith for hire as the ancient Aylied ruins and my neighbors in the waterfront district?

A way to open an Oblivion Gate and access the plane of Oblivion for Sigil Stones after completing the main quest. Either a spell, a house add-on, a map location, a Mehrunes Dagon Shrine, something.

For vampires, I'd like to see "Reign of Terror" be improved so that the demoralize portion doesn't become so useless at later levels. I also think the dectect life of "Hunter's Sight" could be more visually distinct, it's somewhat difficult to see currently because of the green hue.

Please add first person body its so odd looking down and theres nothing there, i always mod that into Skyrim and oblivion. Would be nice if it was vanilla.

Chest QoL-
-Button to deposit all but equipped in chest
-Icon/text that tells you if a chest is safe to store items in long term
add "cleared" tag to cleared dungeons and oblivion gates... or at least entered i don't know... also a local map button not in the zoom...like.... N or whatever, more favourites wheel like shift+ (and of course for the love of akatosh better performance please more optimization!!)
adjust loot distribution in dungeon chests to at least feel more rewarding if they’re not boss chests.
Especially if they’re locked! Not every dungeon has a boss chest.
Make the follower Ushnar's Skinned Hound earned through the quest Ushnar's Terror essential, able to be commanded (follow, stay, and dismiss), and level up with the player past level 5. They're a really cool quest reward but unfortunately, they die pretty much as soon as you enter combat with them for the first time. Their only utility is that their corpse never despawns so you can use them for infinite storage which was likely unintended in the original game
I'm finding that some of the player homes are very dark with not enough lighting inside. Might be nice to add a few more candles around
A Mad God pack. Becoming Sheogorath is cool, but it could have offered a bit more power fantasy and control over the Shivering Isles. If a nobility quest line is added, then elements of that could be incorporated into being the Mad God. Customising Bliss and Crucible a bit; governing the Isles; dealing with heretics; sentencing and blessing/damning the insane.
I would like to be able to do the mages guild quest on the side of the necromancers, merging with the guild in the end.
Would love a DLC that allows us to visit some parts of Skyrim and maybe whiterun with companions quests to become werewolf would be cool if they added some DLC allowing us to visit even more regions. And quest lines

Please add mod support with mod tools
Would be a huge QoL improvement if you could lock the mouse while not in a menu, or at least reset the mouse to the center of the screen when opening a menu. Opening a menu with the mouse in a totally random position is pretty wack. Also would be super cool if you could lock the mouse to the screen, somehow even using 3rd party software to lock the mouse to the screen doesn't work while in game.
FIRST PERSON HORSEBACK RIDING! You were supposed to stay true to the original and you took out one of the most immersive features of the game? Shame on you. Don't be lazy, put it back.
Allow us to turn off the filter so the colours are vibrant like they should be

A button combo to drop only 1 from a stack, like shift+right click, so you don't need to use shift+left click and drag to 1 over and over.

Personally, I would really love a change in the distribution of weather effects so we have more sunny, clear days that let us enjoy the beautiful environment in the remaster. It rains A LOT, often several consecutive in-game days. Every time I walk along the gold coast, it's too foggy to see anything. There's just a lot of dreary weather, way more than I remember in the original, and at a certain point it detracts from the experience. There's a place for foggy and rainy weather, of course, but I would also like a bit more bright, clear weather so I can enjoy the visuals. I've seen a number of similar comments on reddit, facebook, etc., so I know it's not just me.
