In the section where they’re showing off the guns of the store in filly of the second episode has the Laser Musket. Does this mean that the Minutemen ending is canon because the Laser Musket was only seen during fallout 4. And by a realistic stand point, more Minutemen would’ve died after the events, and more laser muskets would’ve been made too. So, realistically, this would mean the Minutemen ending is canon, right?????

Not sure about that honestly. There's a close-up of the Securitron's screen showing the Army Grunt's face, but if you pause the screen right before that(it's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment), you'll see a Berserker face(a circle with a slash through it), the same kind of face seen on some of the Berserker Securitrons enountered in the Big MT research facility in New Vegas's Old World Blues dlc.

Nothing's been confirmed. In the close up scene of the Securitron's face screen, there's a circle with a slash through being displayed, right before it switches to the Army Grunt face. Only other Securitrons that had that Circle Slash were the Berserkers encountered at Big MT.

So far they've been painted in a far too rosy picture. The NCR was a dark reflection of the Pre-War United States, in that it was corrupted by corporate greed and imperialism. To quote Cooper's friend Charlie: "The cattle ranchers are running the town." If the writers want to stick to the theme of Season 1, then they have to portray the NCR for what it really was/is.

I’m thinking that vulpes inculta is the one that is leading the legion, legate lanius would have likely received the same treatment as Joshua graham for failing the second battle if he was talked down the alternative lanius would be dead. Additionally Caesar has the brain tumor and can die from complications during the procedure which would leave vulpes and Lucius in charge

I'v e seen some people saying that the vault that Lucy and the Ghoul are in is Vault 22(as evidenced by the plant growth in the entry hall and the half open door). I'm not so sure it is Vault 22. In the game, Vault 22 is located at the end of a ravine. If this vault were 22, then we should be seeing rocks, hills, and plants through the half open door. But we see a building instead.

Most if just about any new show or movie, based on an original concept, cannot adhere to the original plot or known lore of persons places or things. Nearly everything must be "modernized" It* bets on upsetting the older fans while allowing new fans to claim the new idea as original and well thought out when it is neither original or well thought out. The stories are constantly tone deaf, confuse political terms and ideologies, while retconning character's character for the sake of appeasing a part of the audiance that never cared to pay attention to anything that came before it.

I mean we can go down the list. Obviously Legion is off the table. NCR sure is a safe bet but imo not really a lot of creativity behind this. Yes Man leads to Anarchy on the Streets because the Courier is not a leader and would be purely built around trust among already rival families in the strip and freeside.

Take the Halo show for example. It takes elements from the games but chronologically its wrong. Masterchief is in the wrong armor. Elites look entirely different. The mood and atmosphere doesnt really capture the mystical and sci-fi odyssey experience the games provide, even newer games like Halo Infinite. The only time the Halo theme plays is in the intro.

In Fallout we hear music that u expect in its 50’s 60’s era. Vaults look like vaults. Weapons look like from fallout 4. The attitude of Lucy is a Vault Dweller. There are creatures like Yao Guai and Radroaches. Even narrative beats are taken from the show like the Ghoul’s pre-war experience in comparison to Nate/Nora’s intro in fo4. Lucy needs to find her dad, thats a beat from Fallout 3. These are things we can recognize as fans that we appreciate while still making a unique viewing experience.

During the Sidequest GI Blues, the Courier investigates growing tensions between the NCR and the Kings. Later on after the quest has been completed, Pacer stages a coupe and a fight breaks out amongst the King's men. Those loyal to Pacer and those loyal to The King. Pacer is killed during the gunfigh. I haven't done that part of the quest, so I'm betting the Kings gang members that backed Pacer's failed coupe got booted out of the gang. They left Freeside and were exposed to radiation that turned them into ghouls.

I guess that is true but I think those are a special type of nuke made specifically for one purpose mostly not probably powerful enough to take down an entire metropolis like the ones implied that were dropped after all most of the nukes that were dropped on America had to be strong enough to destroy entire cities and as you can recall those particular nukes can't even destroy a neighborhood granted they're not any environmental damage in Fallout 4 so maybe that's why they don't destroy neighborhood?

I think you're mistaking the show taking a, so far implied, definitive route, that is yet to be fully explained, as a retcon on a game that has multiple endings.

The Halo TV series is set in an alternate timeline.

This show is a direct continuation, just a different media that can't offer multiple possible endings, so it's practically inevitable as a result that some conclusions need to be made on some matters.

The only alternative method would be to deliver it would be showing a different perspective, per episode, and the audience is to decide which viewpoint they think is correct.

Imo Bethesda should've retconned fallout tactics Chicago would've been cooler than seeing the same factions as always a more military themed bos with the Zeppelin against a new paramilitary threat that compares the bos to the Raiders before them adding nuance and fun while you could still have the girl and ghoul duo and bring it to Texas where an even more bad verson of the bos exists and add some other factions other than whats established

The producers of the show have made acknowledgement that they are acutely aware of how NV fans feel about all of this. Nolan said so himself at the Game Awards.

I think they should've taken the cyberpunk approach with it make a show if they wanted it to be set in vegas to make it start before the events of vegas see the bos wiped from helios see the east coast try and advance more troops fail then have the main bos guy be re deployed else where like Chicago to help with a raider problem and the lady and ghoul make there way to Texas thus they and the courier start the events of new vegas have the nuke scene in the divide and the midwest brotherhood plus events are cannon but no ending is and would love to see a live action verson of the Midwest power armor
