Yes. Pretty much. The requirements would be a list of potential employers such as UC Department of Defense, The Freestar Collective, Ryujin, etc. and the user would get paid every so often after setting up a GalBank account.

You can only have one employer at a given time so you really can’t double dip. Meaning that the user is doing freelance work for any other faction.

I did not deal with the kings, the khans and the NCR to NOT visit the casino as soon as I arrived in New Vegas.

I did the ol’ bet max on green in roulette and reload the save if it didn’t land

@surreal storm Hey Rav, as much as I love your ideas in your Tiny-Mods-series, as much I wish you would implement a gameplay setteing to adjust the spawn rate right from the start. I bought your Tiny Reasons to Explore.. Too! mod a few days ago but I was on Dazra all the time, 'till I landed yesterday on Io in the Sol-System. The new stuff from this mod was all over the place!
I have the feeling that I already have seen half of the contents from the mod. Among other things I already explored the Galbank crate, the stone of knowledge and the exploding robot. All within minutes!!!
This ruins not only the immersion and sense of exploring, but also your own otherwise fantastic mod. It becomes an annoyance instead of a meaningful extension to the base game.
I appreciate how much love for the detail you have put into your mods, but for god's sake, please let us adjust the spawn rate from the start. With the space version this was the same trouble, so I assumed the setting is there right in version 1.0 now.
I really don't mean to be rude, but I was very disappointed the other day. Especially, with a paid mod.
So pleeease, update this mod to adjust the spawn rate of the assets. I don't want to see the stuff scattered all over a single cell on a single planet where I land. I want to find the stuff very very occasionally. Please! 🙏
I was looking into this, but the problem is too many settings will clutter up the entire gameplay settings menu so I'm looking for a solution that will make more sense for this
I get that, but I'd rather have a cluttered gameplay-settings menu than having the map-tiles plastered with explorables 😄 . But if you can find another solution, I'm fine with that too and I think that many other users of your mods will also agree with the gameplay-settings option as a last resort. Thanks.

could you create a custom activator someone could use then adjust it that way for specific things like this so it's a menu outside of the settings?
@tall swift Figured you would be the one to ask about this, as you are Excursion's creator and all; when I boost pack, I am still getting the boost bar and it doesn't drain O2, and also I can still use the boost pack when I hide my spacesuit.
As far as records go, I don't see any conflicts happening. The rest of the systems appear to be working as intended, however.
Also thank you for your contributions to the community! Real Fuel and Excursion/Real O2 have added much needed danger to space exploration.

Wait….so the whole issue with TG’s Galactic Harvest was snow globes? I thought there was a conflict with the “Earth Restored” mod, which is why I never downloaded “Earth Restored”, despite that being a mod I want so bad.

That's strange... these are sort of separate systems (although they do use a similar mechanism) so let me go through them 1 by 1.

Magically appearing packs are controlled by the relevant gameplay option being set to Immersive, is that set?
If so, I would suspect a mod conflict. If another mod adds a large enough value to your available boost fuel, it will 'override' my method.
So first I would check for any 'infinite boost' mods etc. -
Packs using O2 to boost works based on game conditions, I don't see any obvious way for this not to work as long as you are drawing on your O2 reserves.
What planets is this occurring on? Can you confirm it happens on e.g. Mars or Luna?
I will confirm the next time I hop into the game. As for mods editing the boost fuel . . . I'll have to look. From a cursory glance, the only boost pack mod is the ui mod that changes the boost bar colour based on its level.

Mods like that shouldn't affect it... so it may be something else about the conditions. I am tentatively planning an update for some notification stuff (Chronomark alerts, etc) so I will look into the boost behavior more closely either way when I get around to that.

Fresh off my latest repair, let me see if “Tiny Reasons to Explore, Too” really gives too much, too soon. I haven’t seen any issues thus far of it giving out too many quests in rapid succession. Hell, I haven’t seen any quests in general regarding it thus far.

Hm, I did find one anomaly that might be causing a conflict? You use the Skill_Gymnastics perk as a reference in the Quest and there is a mod in my LO that is removing the Effect FortifyActorJumpHeightGymnastics
If your script is attaching to that effect, then that kinda makes sense why it wouldn't be firing correctly?

I disabled that mod so that the effect was in play again, and nothing changed - though it might be baked into my save? I'm not sure how Starfield handles actor effects.

You won't get any quests from that mod. You get little, small sorta points of interest, like a crashed gal bank container for example. This stuff will be placed all over the map. Or you will find unusual structures that aren't vanilla. For me, the map is cluttered with that stuff. I just try to ignore it for now and not to explore it all right awy, until Ravageron fixes the mod.
Like yesterday, stuff from this mod spawned right in front of my landing spot. It catches the eye pretty quickly especially on barren moons like luna, Callisto and so on. Just land on a random spot on a barren moon and see for yourself.
I have just learned - if you are using any mod which enables press and hold boost controls (I believe it is only accessible via an .ini setting), that will break the way I handle boost pack access blocking. So if both boost-related systems are not working that is my first suspect.
Honestly, probably gives everyone a chance to do something, take a nap, fix their make up, make do a lil dance

No worries! Technically it's because it changes the instantaneous amount of fuel required to jump to 0, and I change that amount too for my hack, so it cancels out.
I think most mods that change that add an .ini in the data folder/mod folder, btw, so check there first (since those can override your e.g. starfieldcustom.ini).

We basically allow the player to access photomode whilst you free roam with the drone, so you can make the drone invisible via photomode options etc... and yes, PC & Xbox!

I made a new save file , new game and I've only got three mods this time to try and narrow down which mod is messing with me.
I've disabled the cheat terminal to see if it changes anything
I just wanted infinite boost and some credits to start with. Trying to keep the game lore and achievement friendly
I know the hair and beads was acting up, but zone fixed it.
And I did go through and look for updates on the mods to see if that was an issue
My other game was 45 days of game play and that one is completely f'd
In that game I'm stuck on Jemison with out a ship and a ship tech....
And I can't pan up or down in first person .
I've gone ahead and deleted six saves and it seems to have fixed the issue for my older game 😞 I've lost progress but I can play again. I'm gonna say the cheat terminal mod is bugged out for Xbox at least. When I added it to my new game I then started to have issues with it. So it will be noted , I won't use that mod anymore. 🤔 Sorry for wasting your time

I'd be a little surprised if it did, but its best to do sanity checks with weird bugs like this. When you can, take a screenshot of your gameplay rules, and we'll test them.
What mods do you have active? If you don't have any big gameplay mods active, then this probably won't matter. But again just good to do sanity checks when hunting bugs.

Do I just store the crafted HE-3 in the hold? C-Class ship if that matters.
Anything for fueling goes in the hold, yeah. Helium-3 or ship fuel, it'll use either one.

Tested mod load for the Face Off mod issue.
Did a fresh save with only that mod installed and gameplay settings at default, and the issue persists, but I am inside the arena this time and dead upon activating the fight. Which then loads me outside the arena. No longer just "defeated" yet outside the ring already.
Still, unarmed combat doesn't work for me sadly. It is definitely strange. 😅

Hey, so I can replicate this bug, seems to only happen in the unarmed pit, and on lower level characters. Will be investigating further, sorry for the inconvenience, if it's any consolation, the other pits are far more enjoyable 😄

I have no idea what the backstory was on that. I remember it was one of the first mods ported over from Nexus. It was there last summer. Then by the late fall, it was gone.
It is with a heavy heart that I have to restart my game. I can’t get Dark Universe: Overtime to recycle missions on the mission board and give me new missions from the data slates. That is unless the game can only give a certain amount of missions and I have to clear them before the game will give me more. I may have to contact the author on Nexus to ask before I start anew.
I’m sorry but shame is the worst quest so I had shame stuck on stairs in fingers warehouse camera bugs out does not know what to do, none of the quest markers complete or update and I’m using a guide on YouTube so I know how to progress and it’s a paid creation please do better or update it thank you

Hi there! I'm hoping someone might be able to help? I created a ship in CK but the landing bay door to enter the ship is inaccessible. I'm not sure what I'm missing:
I created custom habs based on Stroud Empty habs. I changed the material swaps of the floors and walls, but I wanted the doors to match. I duplicated the 4 GenInt shipbehaviors and duplicated the payloads of the stroud operations, edited the material swaps of those payloads, and linked the new payloads. Hi everyone. For xbox series x starfield, does anyone wish that there was a mod that "allowed you to remove limbs(either in combat or out of combat, using guns/sharp weapons)"?
I think a lot of people wish this game had a lot more gore/violence. I’m not sure how the game obtained an “M-Rating”. That’s a gigantic mystery to me.
While it has the same hopeful atmosphere as FO4, FO4 was far more visceral and violent right out of the box. I can see why that game got an M-Rating. @true valley I don’t think any real changes to the way you can murder an enemy are going to come until Beth releases the animation tool. Once they release that, mods like that will significantly increase.

the reason they dont have gore in SF is coz, "realistically" your limbs dont explode off when you are getting riddled by bullets

to add to that, im guessing the physics in zero-G might also have a different factor in how limbs work when getting pepped with bullets. you are likely better off using a sword to cut off limbs in zero-G but i dunno how that science works
lastly, i guess its also game design reasons, if they do add limbs, they also gotta make the models for them and make model designs and textures for broken suits and so on... basically adding too much work and would make the game even bigger in memory space
and i dont think a lot of people want to download a game thats takes up most of their consoles memory space

id say they are trying to be "realistic" but not too much with how they handle stuff in SF since its still a video game
but in games like fallout, id say since it wasnt their game in the beginning, might as well go all out and exaggerate stuff for fun

And that’s fine, because that’s not my biggest issue with the game. One of my biggest issues is the vibe of the game. It feels way too “sanitized” for an M-Rated game. I’m not asking for GTA V, but did you see the “dancers” on Neon? The whole game feels like a Saturday morning cartoon designed for third graders. I really am curious on what they were thinking with this game. Had they shifted the pendulum the other way, most of the mods I have or have requested would be moot.
It really feels odd when you stack it against its contemporaries such as CP 2077.
So turns out my sister is learning blender as part of her course work seems its all coming together if I can get the kit to cooperate

my take on that... BGS is trying to play it safe since society these days are...sensitive (atleast in the west)
and on top of that, since BGS is making games that is for "everyone" they have to play it safe
I think that “playing it safe” upset a lot more people than if they just went all out. It was only through the modders that this game has some sort of personality.

as i said earlier, people can get sensitive with things and so its no surprise games made outside the US will have different ...uhh approach on whats acceptable
in this case with BGS, they have been more careful with how they approach certain topics rather than going all gungho like how BG3 or Cp2077 does

Not say it’s a bad game, but I just about gave up until the Creation Kit launched in June of 2024. Even though some modders absolutely despise me, I still respect them for their skill set and creative vision.

im not joking lol ever since i started KCD 2 and saw that games biggest city the Starfield FPS drops in Akila and New Atlantis(always the same spots) became unacceptable to me
so every game update i take my just out of unity save and go to New Atlantis run tru the town see if the FPS drops are still there and then dont touch the game till next update

I don’t hate Starfield, as it’s my go to game at this point. I just wish more love got placed into it. Not by the modders, as they are doing a fantastic job with enriching this game with a soul, but by Bethesda themselves.

landed, 700 meters away there is a POI so i use up my sprint meter like a gazillion times get there and its a Geological Formation, im like cool lemme farm some stuff use my scanner, another POI 600 meters away ANOTHER Geological Formation i was like bruh, then scanner another POI 300 meters away and guess what it was

It was in fact in the first batch of paid Creations IIRC, meaning it was by someone invited to the verified program before the CK launched.

I mean it's worse than that tbh, there was one creation (I won't name it as the author did correct all this) at launch absolutely riddled with dirty edits. Gun reticles removed, keywords removed, physics disabled on a bunch of vanilla items, the player record overridden, and so on. I guess we can only speculate as to what Bethesda QA checks, because at least back then it didn't seem to be any of that.
But best not discuss this further, given where we are.

Well, shoot, a lot of modders act as though Bethesda are extreme watchdogs over which mods go up on their creations page. I assume if it’s overtly too realistic (like the one one that actually dipped into CP 2077 territory involving anatomically correct male characters), then it gets striked, but things like “Healthy Beowulf” are fine, apparently.

gotcha yeah. I found when I was making the Kuzuryu habs that simply using non-connected hatch plugs didn't always force the game to treat them as non-functional. Some times it still tried to build a path there, claiming habs were connected when you couldn't actually travel between them. Something to think about and maybe put a warning in the mod description, so that folks know.

Assuming they probably work the same way as other ship part icons it's done via Transforms. Assign transform, generate icons, put them through AssetWatcher to turn the .tif into a .dds file and so on.

I am quite new in modding. I have a question about text replacement in Starfield. I am working on a mod which works as a quest completion checklist.
I have created a new global called CompletionistChecklist_NA_QuestCompletion. In a terminal menu, I display the following text: "New Atlantis Quest Completion: <Global=CompletionistChecklist_NA_QuestCompletion>" (without quotes)
I expect it to display "New Atlantis Quest Completion: 0", but instead it displays "New Atlantis Quest Completion: <Global=CompletionistChecklist_NA_QuestCompletion>" so basically no formatting happens.
As I mentioned I am quite new so maybe I am doing this completely wrong. Can someone help me how to do this?
Do you remember by chance how you solved displaying the global value in terminal?

If this didn't break most NPC dialogue I'd make this as a mod, something to restore NPCs that are normally disabled after quests and just place them somewhere in the world for you to randomly run into again. What could Janet and Ularu be planning?
That does break dialogue?? As far as placing NPCs in the world after their quests have ended?
Moving them outside of where they were does, yeah. Lots of NPC dialogue in Starfield is location-based. Packages are usually location based too, but at least those can be changed, like I've done here to get them to sit.
May I put a spike in your backlog to have Naeva return for revenge by showing up sometimes and attacking the player character AFTER their quests whole Crimson Fleet questline? It seems weird that she escaped and never comes after the player who sends what’s left of her goons after you.
There's actually a vanilla random encounter for exactly that. I've not had it either, so I'm not sure why it's not triggering, but it is in the game. I think it might be shared with several other rare encounters, so it just takes a while to happen. You can't board her ship though, its just an attack.
Oh wow. I’ve never seen that before. I completed that questline twice and never got that random encounter. I thought she just vanished, which is weird considering she’s now the de facto leader of the Crimson Fleet
Yep, found it in xEdit, it's called SE_Player_ZW12 [QUST:0032767C] "Naeva's Revenge". It's one of the quests in the "rare" node of the story manager, which is the one with rare unique encounters like the arguing couple that are lost, the student pilot that you can prank by telling them to get a "long weight" (I've not seen that one either), Mrs. Whitmore's class fieldtrip, and Malai Liskova's attack.
This is just a small update on the Achievement Friendly version of the Special system mod.
Right now, I am preparing to release the latest version of Starfield Creations - HTG System Module (0.0.6), then I will update all the free versions of the mods to use this, prepare for the next Starfield update (1.15.222), and finally start rebuilding this mod from scratch using the latest Core Module as a base.
One note: I have already identified the Texture/UI issues with this version as an issue with the Archives uploaded with this version. As for the setup message and terminal interface not showing up, this should be fixed during the rebuild.
This will still be a few weeks until this gets fixed, tested and submitted to the store, but progress is being made. 👍

I don't remember exactly to be honest. I haven't touched the CK/papyrus in a hot minute (it's been over a year at least). I'll see if I can find the mod files and crack them open.
Have lots of personal stuff going on and had to shift priorities away from modding games for the most part. I'll have to find the files in my storage array and open up the CK/VSCode to look.
It's conditioned based on a few things, that whole story manager branch has a global it checks SE_Player_ChanceRareGlobal [0019D846] which is currently 50, I think that could be lowered to make it more likely. Then there are several conditions for the quest itself, days passed since the end of the CF questline, it looks like there's another generic "revenge" encounter that needs to have happened first in uncivilized space, and the Naeva encounter itself needs to happen in civilized space.
It's possible one or more of those isn't being fulfilled, or it's possible they're all fine and it's just not a very likely occurrence.
Transforms are forms in CK itself, just look at any vanilla ship weapon via inspector to find which they use!
Interesting. So the lower the number, the more likely the encounter is to happen?
It seems to be, common is set at 40 for example. I think it's getting a random number <100 and if it's greater than the global it resolves to true, so the smaller the number the higher the chance of that. At least that's if I've understood what GetRandomPercent is for.
I'm really not an expert on how the story manager works though. I tried to make something to reset legendary ships so you could fight them again for example, but while it worked for the first ship I didn't get a second.
Are legendary ships the M Class ship battles? I’ve only seen one and that was my last playthrough so 1 time out of 5. This game would have been so much better if we had more of those and they were a bit more common.
Yeah, there are three legendary ships you can encounter in each universe, a Spacer one, an Ecliptic one and a Va'ruun one.
Is there a way to either make those more common or make more of those via duplication? That’s one of the better things about this game are the giant M Class ship battles. It gives the game an epic/eerie feel.
Maybe. But I did try for a while to get those to reset and had very lmited success. I'm not sure if it was resetting the quests themselves or the story manager.
Oh. And you’re not that very well versed in the story manager? I wish those quests recycled. I’m not sure why they don’t. There are a lot of things in this game that are cool that are locked behind random chance/rarity.

You could presumably duplicate their dialogue in a new quest and either remove the location specification or specify whichever new place you want them to be...but yeah, quite a bit of work per NPC.
I understand why BGS did that, but it's a shame as it reduces the number of potential new crew members that actually talk when using my Spawn NPCs and/or Recruit Anyone as Ship Crew mods.
I guess I'll tinker with that next time I fire up the Starfield CK and see how it plays with other dialogue.

Hi there! I have a question about Starfield CK ship hab snap disables. I have a table and chairs centered on a floor plug. I only want the table and chairs to disable if the player puts a ladder there from either ceiling or floor plug. But I want the table and chairs to remain if the ceiling plug is turned into a window. Is there any way to make this possible?
The first thing that came to mind was to script it. Add the ConditionEnableState script to an intermediary marker, it disables (or enables) the table if condition = true. Condition form only really needs linked ref(+keyword:custom01)>HasKeywordOnStack>SBShip_Window. Setup the link to the snap as usual with the junk keyword(custom01) so the script ignores it. Should do, I think?
Oh wait, looking at the script, it'll disable itself, not a linked ref. So just use the marker as an actual enable parent for the table. No need to linkref the marker to the table

Yeah, the xMarker is good for this type of stuff. There's an EnableMarker as well for a cleaner look (in the ck). Really any static will do as long as it's flagged 'Is Marker' so it doesn't appear in game.
HI @median drift , for the SPE landing bay, I just added one to my ship after today's update as I haven't used it before. I was able to get the inside button to work, but the panel near the red light on the outside doesn't seem to have a trigger to action it. Is this a known issue, or a "me problem"?

It starts with me falling through thr ship, then it crashes then when loading it will say i need to download a randon mod from my list i go to see its not disabled... so unless i delete it it wont let me load any saves.
I use MO2 and updated and works. you do NOT install SFSE - You go to the manual download and open and copy the EXE and DLL to the main SF folder. Open MO2 and make sure it is set to the SFSE option. IF the SFSE file shows in the MO2 list uncheck it - it can pull the older version and interfere with the current one. ** You still need to install the SFSE Address Library. That one you manual download - click on File / Install. I would also make sure you are on the latest MO2 via Discord/Mod Organizer 2. (There are some downloads not intended for Starfield there.)
Some versions of MO2 do allow the download and pops into downloads ands install. The current one does not - so you have to manual download and do the file / install way. It works just as well - just a few extra steps.
Oh and for MO2 - make sure the old DLL is deleted (in the SF main directory). So you do not see a long list of the SFSE dll's. That is important.

Either creation would be difficult to call balanced as Starfield could be beat using a singular ship. The main difference in terms of how the fleet work is Watchtower requires items to further unlock fleet command and some story progression. Fleet Commander does not have a story, you just craft the terminal and choose ships to add to your active fleet, 1 per rank in ship command, max 4. Watchtower I believe allows 6. You can use both Creations together, just don't assign the same ships to the different fleets. Fleet Commander also has a feature called Shared Cargo, which grants your ship additional carryweight based on that of your fleet. Watchtower also has an orbital strike mechanic if that tickles your fancy. Watchtower also requires pilot and crew assignment. The follower behavior is different. Both are configurable.

Mod idea: A ship in the shape of Superman. Like literally Superman in his flying pose. A ship of this sort is going to be unable to be edited, but it's going to be fun as heck to see you flying a giant Superman against your enemies.
I never try to sugarcoat my stuff. I don't want anyone spending their money to feel lied to or upset. If what they want isn't what I do I may know an alternative. We're all just here to have fun 🙂

As I don't allow crew assignment, companions aren't on board the ship to be killed. But the ships themselves will. Some people refer to my implementation as "drones". I abstracted crew assignment to be more headcannon. If I'm being honest I was really hoping Bethesda would add an official mechanic after seeing how in-demand crew management would be.

I do advise people it is unknown if anything will be phased out due to official content. With no roadmap all we can do is chase down our dreams ourselves.
Refunds are hit/miss depending on your reasons though. Can't depend on it for that as authors are paid out of that, but it's not impossible.
if they ever did do that, I'm sure that at least the shared cargo feature could still be relevant, and for kinggath some tweaks would be needed but the orbital functionality would still be relevant too.

Hey, I've run into a SFEdit problem. I want to make a comp patch for Starvival and Tank Girl's Galactic Harvest, but XEdit says it can't be dependent on an ESL flagged ESM? I have a lot of XEdit experience but this is my first time trying stuff in Starfield.

I am not positive; but if a mod owner goes into their account and looks at a mod. I believe it moves into the Updated section. They seem to have fixed the Updated section to when you do update them - they clear from that Updated section - for a long time they never went away - there are instructions on getting them out if they stay - but it is time consuming to do, but will work.
xEdit can only edit files if they are a full master and don't have any small/medium masters as dependencies.

Hello fellow modders! I’m the guy who’s been working on an Ecliptic quest mod for Starfield for months now. I’ve got almost everything working pretty well at this point. There are five different levels to the quest in four unique locations that I have handcrafted. The Voice dialogue is pretty damn good at this point. I may have to run through it a few more times beta testing but at this point, I’m pretty confident.
I do, however, have one big problem. I created a ship weapon for the game. Since I’ve created it, I’ve deleted it right? But it still shows up in game. It’s like a ghost that I can’t get rid of. I’ve since re-created the weapon and made it look completely different than any weapon that you might find in Starfield. The weapon is to act as a reward for completing my quest.
Have any of you guys experienced this? Where if you delete a weapon that you’ve already created and I’m talking about a ship weapon here. It just doesn’t go away. How do I get rid of this old weapon? Any advice or suggestions would be really helpful and thank you!
Right click on the weapon record and look at "use info"
Are you using a fresh save to test after deleting the ship weapon?

Yes, so I’ve started a new game plus several times maybe I’ll just start a completely new game and try it out. But yes, every time I go back to the ship vendor, which is an ecliptic ship vendor technician that I’ve created. He offers the old weapon. Maybe I’ll keep testing it and let you know what happens but at this point the weapon, the old one plus the new one that I’ve created. It just keeps showing up, which is super annoying.

Yep I just restarted a brand new game and the weapon still appears in the ship vendor’s inventory next to the new one I created.
Probably WAV. And then you’re going to use the creation kit to create a WEM file.

Hi there! my custom shipbehaviors in Starfield CK aren't working. Would anyone be able to help?
I made duplicates of stroud empty habs for a custom ship I'm working on. I customized the habs, added them to my ship - they work totally fine in-game. BUT I changed the floor and wall colors of my habs, which doesn't match the vanilla hab doorways. So I duplicated the stroud/deimos shipbehaviors. I then duplicated all the stroud payloads and changed the swaps to match my stroud habs. I created a new SBship_manufacturer for my shipbehaviors. I added my sbship_manufacturer and payloads to my custom shipbehaviors. I added my SBship manufacturer to my interior and exterior stroud ship hab packins. For whatever reason, it doesn't work and none of the doorways function in-game. As far as I can tell, it's the same as vanilla.
Someone suggested to try 'Use Info' and I do see a difference, it looks like my shipbehaviors aren't being used at all for some reason, and I'm not sure why?

You sure you've deleted the form properly?
You'll create your dialogue in a quest, under scenes. Then in the slate you want your audio log to play at you select said scene from your quest.
There's multiple quests called "AudioLog" in CK, take a look at how these work
When making clothing for Starfield. Does the long sleeve need to be a single piece or does it have to be broken into 2 parts, upper arm and lower arm?

you mean normal clothing or spacesuits? My advice is always to look at how the basegame stuff is organized
regular clothes, but I assume it'll be similar to space suits too
I'm not so sure, I was poking at them a while back and some clothing is organized differently. Especially if it's crowd clothing.

For playing audio logs from terminals its the same setup for the quest, but then playing the scene is done via script fragments on each terminal menu. So you would do something like MyScene.Start() in the fragment of that menu.
I linked the weapon to an experimental ship that I no longer use in the mod so I’m going to try deleting the ship and see if that helps.

So deleting the ship weapon in CK doesn’t even seem to matter. Because I’ve reverted to older versions of the mod plug-in where I had not linked or created any keywords to add the weapon to the vendor. And the weapon keeps appearing in the ship’s technician vendor! It’s literally like a ghost ship weapon now. It refuses to ever be deleted and I just want it to go away lol! This is baffling, but I have a feeling that somehow ship vendor data is saved externally in the loose files perhaps somewhere I haven’t checked in the Starfield/data? Do you have any experience with this?

It's so hard to find and loot corpses in this game, especially when you kill a dozen enemies in one go in outdoor scenes. I want to add a light beam mark that lasts for several minutes to the corpse model of each enemy killed by the player and not looted, a bit similar to this MOD: Shades Glowy Stuff (Glowing Highlight without Scanner - Accessibility Enhancements), but the effect is closer to the light effect on the enemy corpses in Diablo or Nioh, which will not affect the display of the corpse model too much.
I can look into changing the music as I'm working on adding a new location types anyway
And is Effect Sequence a new feature in the Starfield Creation Kit? I searched Google for related keywords but didn't get any useful results.

usually its just lowerbody, upperbody, and sleeves but there are other body slots that can be used for more modular stuff

I've subscribed. The main reason is that there is no wiki. And many people who have made videos for Skyrim or Fallout 4's CK no longer make videos for Starfield. However, the new CK also has many new features, such as galaxies.
Yeah, it took a lot of reverse engineering to figure it all out but even with the VC wiki support (which I can't mention anything about the contents) what I managed to reverse engineer isn't covered in the wiki either (In terms of how to implement them under various conditionals).

I found some time today to continue on my version of the ED Corvette (so the Deimos Corvette). I fixed some holes of that STL file and created the parts of the bridge never to be seen by ED players (so the lower parts - the bridge design seems to resemble a capsule which could be detached)
As soon as one side is finished I'll just copy & mirror it to the other. Right now it's time to increase the level of detail further to get rid of some 'blockiness' from the past 😅 after that it's time for a proper UV and then I'll move on to the hull which will be a huge undertaking...

Yep, there's a lot of ways. The most common methods starting out are going to be from ship services or from finding fuel canisters when destroying ships.
Fuel consumption is increased a bit for higher-class ships, but it should be fine as long as you have large enough tanks. I like to have at least 500 total capacity in a Class C ship personally

Yep. You can buy, loot, or craft the fuel canisters, and you can refuel from either raw he-3 or from canisters in your hold. Using raw he-3 is just a little bit less efficient. Plus you can refuel from ship services or from the panel if you are in a settlement or are docked to most friendly starstations. You can also place a siphon panel and steal fuel from other ships by docking to them. There's a lot of ways to stay topped up 🤟
Gotcha. So I don’t have to set up an HE-3 mine at my outpost. That’s kinda where I was going with this whole thing. Lol. As long as I can purchase or craft it, I’m golden.

Yeah, you shouldn't ever have to harvest he-3 yourself unless you want to save money or you get stuck somewhere without fuel. You can get fuel from most civilized locations.
Yep, all craftable at the industrial workbench. Future versions will have fabricators that you can place at outposts but for now it's all through the workbench.

Not the mod maker but as a user yes it does work with dazras spaceport.

Anything fuel related goes in the cargo hold and is then used by activating smartfuel from the cargo hold panel or the fuel panel.
Starstations are harder to detect than ground settlements for a variety of reasons, but I will attempt to figure something out for 1.2.

Ship services; no, I don't believe it is possible to introduce dialogue to an NPC without a direct plugin dependency of some kind. But fuel purchasing via the panel does work in Dazra, that's about 70% of why I added the feature lol.

It should, yeah. Just not through dialogue with the technician. But Fuel Purchasing via SmartFuel works in any settlement

Is this a BUG? No matter what Fill Type I use, I cannot make Quest automatically fill the Player object at start or runtime, in other words, the Game.GetPlayer() object, unless I explicitly call the ForceRefTo(Game.GetPlayer()) function. PS: The Game.GetPlayerHomeSpaceShip() object can be automatically filled
It's usually better to fill a player alias using the Unique Actor checkbox. You may also need to make sure "Allow Reserved" is checked as well if this isn't a quest that starts with a new game.

If you're using "Unique Actor" you don't need the other condition in the bottom right window.
I forgot to delete it, and now I deleted it and tested it again, and the result is the same. I have been testing this problem for three hours.
Everything I know about quests suggests that what you have on that tab should do it unless something on one of the other tabs is preventing it from filling.
The logic I used for testing is also very simple. When I comment out ForceRefTo(Game.GetPlayer()) both outputs are 0, otherwise the first output is 0 and the second is 20 which is 0x14

Another point is that although Alias seems to be not filled and GetActorReference().GetFormID() returns 0, some events can be triggered, such as Event OnLocationChange(Location akOldLoc, Location akNewLoc), but some events cannot be triggered, such as Event OnEnterSneaking(), Event OnKill(ObjectReference akVictim) and Event OnPlayerFireWeapon(Form akBaseObject), until the ForceRefTo(Game.GetPlayer()) function is called
Another relaxing session - really basic UV mapping and work on normals. Soon I'll start to add details but for now it's time to fix/improve those cockpit frames 🤔

I assume you've removed both versions, left the Creations page back to menu, closed the game down, re-opened and tried enabling the Achievement Friendly version?
Yeah i have tried that i even uninstalled the game which removed all mods and reinstalled the game but it just redownloads the free version over the achievement friendly version

Ahh that's how we crossed paths actually, I loved what they did but couldn't bare the handcuffs to be so low res, so I made him some crispier handcuffs for that mod 🫡
Would love to see more non-lethal ways to complete missions too

Ya you can't have 2 uploads with the same name. You can't change the name on the AF version so change the name of the free file. Add Free_ or something to the name.

In theory what invoker is saying is true as a workaround, but a workaround shouldn’t be needed for how the Creations menu is handling this.
