The treasure chest from the ancient Mariner creation has unlimited storage, does it have linked storage?

I know it was about moonshine but what about crafting other contraband items? Imagine a workbench where you can craft recipes to make contraband items. But in order to get the recipe you need to craft it through using a lunch of the item in question. Like to make sentient AI adaptors you need to get like 50 of them (less with research perk) and craft the recipe and boom you can make them with industrial components and materials.
Or you can just make moonshine contraband itself.
That was the idea

Well, it's usually used for ablative cover, and scratch protection but you could easily say it's woven kevlar or future kevlar with heat resistant coat to prevent your helmet exterior from heating up or taking pocks

Bethesda really should remove the veil from creations. That is a broken paid mod that has never worked right without bugging out. Worst purchase I've made. Not happy at all.

@jolly torrent unfortunately it is very broken. I have had Emily Archer just appear in my ship before I started the mod and then again on another attempt toward the end of the mod, both cases locked the quest and you could not proceed. Other issues I've encountered are quest markers not appearing and the locations not spawing in. I would stay away from it on xbox.

@woven grove wrong one. You need to approach the SSNN news kiosk. The tall white ones with SSNN on them.
Installing a skydrop on these ships is friggin frustrating as all get out. Most of these ships don’t sit very high and the sky drops seem to attach ONLY to the bottom of the ship below the landing bay.
Cycle through the skydrop part variations. There are top and bottom open ones and top and bottom closed versions. You can squeeze in quite a few even on smaller ships.

Besides Bethesda ones (not the skins or plushies), I've only bought watchtower & starborn guardian vii+. I can recommend both for sure.
Escape is pretty amazing & easily my favorite Bethesda creation so far.
Check out TG’s Galactic Harvest.
Lazarus Awakened is a fun dungeon.
Also Darkstar, if you're interested in a gameplay overhaul + late game gameplay loop. But there is also McClarence for a similar process.
I prefer DS. But McClarence is extremely well thought out.

No, Betelgeuse isn't in the game, probably because IRL the consensus seems to be that it likely has no planets.

Eris would be interesting to walk on. The sun's light in daytime would be only a bit brighter than a full moon on Earth, but the surface is highly reflective, like fresh snow. It could look quite eerie.

@sharp lynx well you tell me then what do you call a mod that locks progress? When you do the mantis quest, emily archer appears in your ship and follows you around before you go to help her to start the quest. After talking to the Conclave on the Core, you have to locate emily and oh look, she's on your ship and not in the cave. No marker for the cave and no landmark for the cave. Huh, yea not broken at all. Kind of like your disappearing assets and plants on your mod but at least that doesn't block progress.

@zinc spade if that's directed at me, I'm not angry. TG made a comment that the Veil wasn't broken it was probably the user. No, the Veil is absolutely broken on xbox. There's a ton of videos that I saw after the fact that shows this. I'm sure it works great on PC but not every modder is talented enough to make it work on xbox. My issue is not with the modder, it's with Bethesda allowing it to be sold on xbox. It should be a PC mod only imo.

No, the Veil was broken before the update. From the videos I saw yesterday, it's been broken on xbox for 7 months. I have 3 mods from TG, I'm not saying her work is bad. I just pointed out things disappear sometimes when you place them. That includes it happening on Andromeda's Palace and the Island Mansion, not just with Galactic Harvest. That isn't a really big deal to me though. I move what I placed to a different spot and it usually stays.
Ah alright I say give her some time you gotta remember editing and updating takes time plus the publication process to Bethesda.net

Which bed and which captains quarters? Also consider making a custom room with empty habs and decorate with your own furniture.

Is it possible to pull a GTA San Andreas body style mod with Starfield? As in you eat more/eat junk (like Chunks), you gain weight, the more you work out, you get more buff. Dieting is a factor that makes you drop weight. Real height/dynamic weight, BMI index modules on the pause screen.

LOL, the whataboutism contributed nothing to any of the statements I mentioned. probably the reason folks jumped to defend my stuff was it came off as petty, which, might not have been intentional on your end but I'mma be real with ya G. As for what I meant, the general rule of thumb here is.... well if you see a lot of folks are enjoying something and don't see a lot of folks complaining about it being broken and only see a handfull of people crying about something being broken chances are it isn't and something on their end is breaking it. I say that to train folks to be more productive in the ways of problem solving vs problem blaming, cause people are quick to blame the mod rather than their "probably super duper stacked load order."

for me, when I have mod issues, cause I play this game too and get mods as well. If I isn't something I see parroted, "cause when you have a problem, you better believe if it's consistent," you'll see every other comment where that mod is mentioned, mention said problem. At that point, you can definitely say "yea, its probably on the mods' end."

@sharp lynx ah, I found the one in the room that led me to the statue which opened the secret door, but I never saw anything about Mars. I went to Neon first. I only found it accidentally when I jumped and ended up accidentally vaulting up on the vending machine. Boom, vault keycard...lol

It was meant to be hard "in my mind" cause there's 3 people there in the story and none of them are related and the dude who went to mars was running but also trying to talk to someone about running while being paranoid about being followed.... so my mind was like... "Okay... this dude clearly wont be like "Hey I'm going to mars now, killers dont follow me pls." So I had to code it in a way people could understand what he means while it being ambiguous enough to hold out the story beats.
cause in the note he says "I'm leaving... I'll go home instead." and I highlighted """"home instead""" I was cluing in on people reading that as homestead
but it seems no one did XDDD
then when you went to homestead you'll find the note there that says basically "f it I'm going to mars"
So yea, I did miss that. Makes perfect sense now.

On mods that adds Halo weapons, I think replacing the "aim down sight" to a simple zoom for some of the weapons would work best. Would this fall under needing new animations for it?
As time goes on, I actually prefer that style of aiming

I just have a question for @little ridge or anyone that might be able to answer this.
I’m using the RO-18 Raptor on a high level, high NG character and all the instances of that weapon are extremely underpowered. They spawn without tiers (Refined, Advanced) and the DPS is below any other advanced weapon in the game. I think they all spawn with 34 base damage per shot and it can be slightly increased by modifying the weapon but for an insignificant amount.
Is it supposed to only spawn without tiers and with that low damage?
The description states “unmatched reliability and firepower” but that’s not the case for me at least.
Similar situation for Astra which is well below all the other pistols/revolvers in the game and doesn’t spawn with tiers.
I also have RCAR and while not OP, this one is a bit better than AA-99 which gives it a good placement and makes it very useful.
Is what I’m seeing in my game intended or I’m confronted with a bug?
If it’s intended, are you planning to address it and balance them so they can be more useful? Especially the RO-18 Raptor, I can’t really use it for anything.

The creator may have forgotten to setup the tiers in the Creation Kit, this was the case for me on some of my early weapon creations. 🙂

Great, thank you. I started a new game with a new load order and Galactic Harvest sort of messed the tutorial up by starting its own quest before the main quest. You are greated in the new game with distant floating quest markers, instead of the main quest ones. I thought i messed up my load order or hit the soft mod cap and started messing with my mods until i figured it was Galactic Harvest. I experimented a little bit and figured there was only one opportunity to switch to the main quest as the active quest, after which you are stuck with the wrong quest markers until till the end of the tutorial. Then the mission tab is unlocked and you can switch it to the main quest. It's not game breaking but quite annoying, especially if you don't know what's going on.
So, the quest markers thing is a setting in the game.
Navigate to the in-game menu, go to the quest log, and toggle the "Show all targets" or "Show only active targets" option.
If you have “show only active targets” enabled it should only point you to the targets in the active quest.
That’s not a GH issue, it’s how the game behaves.
Starting the GH quest before visiting The Lodge might have been an intentional decision as a lot of people prefer to avoid dealing with Constellation in their NG runs and might use fast or alternate start mods. Having the quest locked until you go toe the Lodge can be problematic for some people.
Toggle that option to show only active targets, switch to the MQ in your quest log and see if that solves your issue.

Yes, I have the quest run on game start because, no matter how many words I put in every place detailing where to start the quest, I'll still get people who message me confused about how to start the quest. So, I skipped that step and just had it start on game start.
A choice I made after a small mod I posted years ago, where the description very plainly detailed how to start the quest and I'd get messages daily about how to start the quest.

I debated on message box usage at game start.... but after Fallout New Vegas where you spent 30 mins clicking through those at the start of a new game I felt I didn't want to contribute to that either.

When i say tutorial i don't mean everything before the Lodge. I mean the mining part before you touch the artifact. You don’t have access to the quest log during that part, and the mod makes Galactic Harvest's quest the active quest. Meaning if you don't switch the active quest when you are given the prompt (only one time immediatly after you get out of the elevator, you're stuck. My setting for the quest log is "only show active". I actually agree with getting rid of the infinite message box, but maybe it would be better to start the quest immediatly after character creation, instead of the elevator.

I suppose I could, you'd be the very first and only person to mention this. However, I feel that if I change that, the likelihood of the quest not responding is high, and it was actually a problem prior to me choosing the run-on start option, if anyone tweaks any of the vanilla conditions I'd have to chose or the locations vanilla I'd put the trigger it would also break my quest. Its a very damned if you do damned if you dont senario and I'd be more opt to just having the intro be extra annoying vs my quest not working for a handfull of people, but I will loook into it. Maybe someone smarter than I has a solution.

Got it. I haven’t started a new character in ages so I didn’t know about that behaviour. It makes sense now.

then if I did my own custom conditions, it would go back to, getting 100s of messages about why the quest isnt starting and me asking if they read the description. Something that isn't a problem for a mod which its whole purpose is a quest, but GH isn't a quest mod it's a mod that features a quest and I also didn't want folks to pass it over cause it could have been easily missed.
Fortunately, I do have smort friends maybe one of them will have an answer.
I see, I just wanted to report the issue. I can't offer a proper solution. I understand your frustation with people not reading descriptions and bombarding you with complaints. If you can't find a way to solve it, maybe you can add a small warning in the description that this might happen when you start a new game, for people who reads descriptions like me. So they don't panic like I did, haha.

a little note on that is great, if you didn't know too there's an info board in the build menu you can not only use to skip my quest if you dont happen to like it or dont wanna run through it but it also gives details on the mod so I'll also toss that warning in there.

Because I'm having a strange bug where my character isn't wearing his helmet in non breathable areas and my companion isn't wearing their spacesuit in non breathable areas also, not sure if it's a load order issue or not

Post a bug report. During the beta I had the quest markers don't show up bug and posted about it. With the stable patch I haven't encountered it yet.

Does anyone know of a way to turn off loot notifications? I'm using Lazy Panda's auto loot which is a fantastic mod but all the notification spam makes it so I don't see other notifications.

For some unknown reason, the game will sometimes just ignore an OnQuestInit event for a mod you've just installed. It seems to be very rare, but I've had enough comments on my own mods to know it does happen. This method is giving that startup quest another chance to kick in.
I'm tempted to put a pop-up message on any future mods I make that use OnQuestInit to tell the user the mod is active, and in the description tell people that if they don't see that message they should restart using that same save and hopefully it should trigger next time.
The foxbats are in particular very cute. Just slightly scary size-wise, and not too friendly.

In those cases, are you sure it's ignoring the OnQuestInit event, or is the quest actually not initializing?
It might be fun (and informative) if you can find a way to trigger this issue consistently (or find someone who can) to add a different message for each step of quest setup and see where it breaks. For example, non-optional alias filling could be failing, but only in specific, weird circumstances.

Yep, it could just be the quest isn't starting at all. Unfortunately I've never actually seen it happen myself (or I could have checked that) let alone been able to reproduce it.
The reason I think OnQuestInit might be the culprit though is because the behavior of this changed a little while ago, i.e. #starfield-mods message
I don't recall anyone reporting this issue prior to that change.

|| you get something called a sky drop that is something fired from a ship in orvit while you are on the planet, bombs, and robots, supply drops and mechs. You have to place them as equipment to a ship then assign it to someone to pilot the ship. ||. Sorry for the late reply I was busy.

It is the nicest feature in Watchtower, IMHO
Most of the strokes were pretty weak for me but that's because enemies scale 100% of my level at 274. Emp is goated though for dealing with turrets alone.
@sharp lynx have you considered designing your own NPC, one that specifically deals within your mods?
I haven't made a mod that makes that necessary

I have enemies that level with me. That’s why most of the enemies I encounter are straight up bullet sponges.

Right now the best way to disable notificantions is to send everything to Lazy Panda or the Lodge Safe.

Yeah thats the quickest way to disable notifcations. Lazy Panda wont get full either. I know it says it has a limit but its a lie. Just don't try to give him anything if he's already over capacity. It wont accept it that way. But it will continue to loot forever. Its just the manual adding of things has a limit.

I know with Lazy Panda if you enable the looting before setting the toggles it will make it throw a fit and not loot anything.
So it might be something as simple as you turned off afeature before having the fuel in place.

Hm. Are you worried about breaking AF? You might need to either Find some Helium 3 (There should be some on teh roof of the facility the pirate were in) other wise you might need to open your console and type help "Helium-3"
then type either additem <itemID> <Amount> if additem doesn't work put player. before it (include the . )

no it happens after like 3 seconds of ADS, it seems like its mod related but idk, and i turned everything off and it still happens

Honestly I mostly use graphic updates and StarUI and Lazy Panda. I don't really mess with weapon mods and such.

There is the Non-Lethal mod, combined with Mortal Killable CHildren you can sell children to the Pirates. But tahts not the purpose of the two mods. It caused a bit of a stink when some folks talked about it over on nexus

So I know the watchtower creation is amazing, but holy heck I can’t travel to any unaffiliated system without getting blasted. I’m level 26 and still in the frontier (saving credits for a big ship) and it’s been a pain to get anything done I have to leave immediately. Should I just buy a better ship now, would that help me survive those assaults or am I better just avoiding them altogether. My quest log is getting backed up cause I can’t really travel :/

Grenades are just flares for marking the target locations. You need a sky drop build into a ship I'm your fleet that isn't your home ship.
You can craft skydrop flares too
I'll have to double check. I have so many mods that my workbench is just loaded with other garbage. I prob just missed it

Git gud, get the flare close enough to the mech & keep it dancing at a safe distance. You can also use em weapons to hit it hard.
The Watchtower is incredible. I like the feeling of being hunted. This really should supersede the main story, tbh. It feels much more like it should’ve been the main plot.

meh, an entire faction that knows about Starborn is pretty lore-breaking.
Having your own ships in a fleet is SUPER cool, but everything else is a bit repetitive and unnecessary.

If only we could remix the actual The Watchtower mod to make it to how that is how you pick up the Constellation companions. Like you are all being hunted because The Watchtower is pissed at them as well. I would prefer that.
I’m really not that invested in the Starborn plot line or even the main plot of the game itself, so that wouldn’t bother me. I do agree with you on Torin’s voice actor being amazing. 😂

I think you'd see it done faster learning how to make yourself tbh, or you could directly request it.
Watchtower is a great creation. The storytelling isn't the most creative & the lore is pretty rote... Super secret shadow faction that actually knows more than they should behind the scenes, not the most interesting beats.
However, the setup is effective in weaving in the modder's toys with Bethesda's. The writing does its best job to maintain ludonarrative harmony between game mechanics & why the faction wasn't widely known/seen.
It works best narratively in ng+ as a full-fledged starborn imo from what I've played so far.

True. I was thinking maybe nutrients as a ingredient as it's also in the vanilla alien liquor recipe I used before galactic harvest was released.
Nutrient is easier to get than alkaines and canbe be produced with your nutrient converter making it craftable on all planets and not just ones with alkaines.

We've suspected there was a problem with updating things in the Starfield Creations menu since McClarence was first patched, but are now 100% sure of it with the Watchtower patch.
Sometimes when updating a Creation, you will receive only some of the files required, creating version mismatches...

I linked the Nexus page as it had a lot more discussion about that particular strangeness, and some of the things you need to be aware of (like "number of days passed" not agreeing with the calendar, etc.)

Huh, so a change they made in the last CK update is that you can no longer have a script property that has the same name as another script, if you try it won't compile. That makes sense to enforce of course, but it turns out I did (unintentionally) have one where I'd committed that sin.
Slightly awkward as my CK has a delightful "feature" where it will refuse to display the script properties window without a compiled script to begin with, for existing scripts.

Does anyone else have an audio bug in Watchtower where the combat music keeps playing even after you clear all the enemies from the area?
@mortal tundra I thought I just sent a message but I don't know where it went, but I found the problem when the companion has nothing in there inventory your able to switch to yours and trade but if they have something it makes it sort and not change inventorys.
I thought I'd also had this bug and it turned out there was a mech standing in a shed that hadn't been activated via his release switch yet.

Yeah, I think my audio is bugged out. I’ve been all over Listening Post Beta and have eliminated every WT goin and the combat music is till merrily playing in the background. Lol
Let me see if I can get into another fight to see if completing that will stop the music. It would really suck to have to start a whole new game because of annoying audio glitch or load a save up from 5/26.

Out in the Blackness is a VERY good mod. It makes the ship seem alive almost, instead of just a static vessel that takes one from point A to point B. I love my immersion, and machinery, which a ship ultimately is, requires maintenance, like a car, or it will break down on ya.

Does it ever feel overwhelming at times? How does it feel starting a new game with it on, a good suggestion I saw someone post on Reddit was that when you land at a town, ship services could be able to diagnose and repair your ship which I feel would really help in early game when you don’t have the perks needed yet. You can set the frequency of maintenance in the settings menu. I get issues with my ship here and there at 25%. Sometimes it warns you there’s a malfunction in the status menu. Sometimes it doesn’t. I just recently thought my game bugged out because everyone was walking around the ship with their spacesuits on and Cora had disappeared into the ether until i performed a maintenance check and found out that life support systems were failing and internal ship temperatures were increasing. That was fun.
What about collecting the materials for repairs?

If you don’t have many resources, I would set it to as low as possible. I set it to 25% myself because I didn’t want to be inundated with a bunch of mechanical issues and in my head canon, my ship is relatively new.
As in it came out in the last 2 years and designed by the UC Military.
I have level scaling on, but if you’re just starting out, I would turn it off.
I also have the Cheat Terminal mod installed, so there’s that.

Because it doesn't exist in the game. I have not been able to find it, not even in my original play through. I also have never unlocked that part of the module for the hud either yet I unlocked everything else. I had every component
I still use the HUD even now. My main goal was to originally unlock the enemy detection and thread logic just wasn't available. I already acquired the hardest components to find, I thought it was a mythical creature at one point.
And then, I thought, I'd go to every vendor in all the galaxies that specifically sold junk/ trinkets. And for hours, I found nothing.
Oh, well... so... it is a cut content manufacturing material, one of the common ones that many mods use. The Targeting HUD mod adds its crafting recipe back, so you just need to get Special Projects 4 to make it. The reason I use it is that is was cut content, but I didn't add it to vendors because many other mods do.
They can get oversaturated at vendors if you have too many mods that add it back in.
Stay right there cause this is getting done.

Industrial workbench. If you have special projects rank 4, it will be there with the other manufactured materials. 1 ionic liquids, 3 neodymium, 2 sterile nanotubes, and 1 semimetal wafer.

You are the first person to tell me that they were having issues with it. I almost never had that glitch, but all of the sudden I am having it all the time now. I have been brainstorming a fix for it. Vasco doesn't have the issue when you add it to him, so I think I may go with a little script that adds the effect permanently and periodically updates it for you.
I actually thought it was a me problem, or I would have made it higher priority to fix it.

Hello, I am using the Falkland Shipyard Creation and I was wondering if anyone could fix the issues with it? The habs seem to have issues mapping pathways to the bridge and docker.
I also noticed it is missing a lot of different modules
The is no 3x1 there are types of rooms missing that are common to others like workshops and infirmaries, and there are less snap points for the side habs
I've tried deleting and reinstalling Tiny Reasons to Explore and it didn't work. I tried moving it around my load order to no avail. Finally, I deleted all my mods, cleared the storage on my xbox, and reinstalled my complete load order from scratch. No dice. Help.

Interior cells have a hidden bounds to them depending on where your nav'meshes are located once something gets too far away from the cell's 0 point or nav-meshes the game will assume you're falling through the map, for lack of a better description.

that sounds like a different problem, maybe there's a invisible collision attached to them somewhere or somehow
I know if you have a collision box accidentially set as an object the game will toss the player
I think it's like the same thing that happens when you run into a movable static object. But on a larger scale. Or like how npcs can push you around if they walk into you. But in time slow mode they can't be nudged at all but the player can be

Because if I were to run into a wet floor sign in slow mo my player is completely unaffected, but the sign will be flung like it normally would but in slow motion. The problem seems to be whenever something has the ability to collide with the player in a non static way and is able to provide enough force to push back
I'd like to find a way to have an effect similar to pain train from Fallout 4 and 76. Where running into npcs will knock them down or at least push them

There's a new update coming (possibly this Friday or early next week) that will completely replace the old spawning system and add a few new locations and it will 100% fix this for you. In the meantime, I'll look into why it's happening to you and try to find a temporary solution.
Another WIP for VIGILANCE.
The ship I've shown off before is initially located in the labs sector where it was built but because the facility is deep underground there needed to be a way to get the ship to a launch pad on the surface where the player can board and take off in it.
So in classic VIGILANCE fashion they overengineered a giant teleporter to send it to the surface!

For the new Watchtower mod, I believe I unlocked every ship part except for “Watchtower DS Ares Bridge” and “Stability Pro Landing Bay.” Any idea which ship I still need to salvage to unlock the final pieces? I had to install SKK Ship Management Tools in order to reliably salvage Watchtower ships. This way, I don't have to worry about losing my “home” ship every time I sit down to claim a ship.

All you need do is sit in the pilot seat, then get back up, turn around and view the pilot seat and choose “Salvage”.
Do nothing else in between sitting in the seat and getting back up.

Some ships prohibit sitting in the seat as you may know. Do you get any notice like you are not allowed to pilot this ship or some other notice?

- Real 02 (or the paid variant with more features: Excursion)
- Roverhaul
- Cost of Living
- Maintenance Fees
- Nestor
Then there are 2 mods which you'll need to decide what is best for you, because they're incompatible:
- Mineral Overhaul
- Starfield Resource Revival
Mineral Overhaul is more widely compatible with everything, while SRR is more in depth, but pretty interesting for players that like the science skill tree and outpost building.

SRR really makes the science/outpost part of the game slower and more in depth. Raw minerals and organic components need to be refined or processed and the research trees are more granular
Not that I am at all biased about this (/s), but I'd also recommend looking through the (few) mods that add to outposts. There's a few that expand the selection of hab modules, and stuff like Skully's big stuff pack and Miss O's Buildable Walls will probably add a lot to the experience

I saw one that I am also interested in where you have to do ship maintence in space when things break onboard. That looks cool.
the cool thing about mineral overhaul (and one of the reasons I opted for it) is because laser cutters take a lot more time to break rock and you need to break the same rock multiple times, which is pretty cool.
that's "out in the blackness". I like it a lot, but Im not currently using it. I feel it needs some adjustments to lessen frustration a little bit lol.
and have in mind that SRR may need to be patched for certain mods that delve in crafting, because it changes the resources of the game to different categories, while the ones that are used in crafting are the refined versions, with new items / 3d models etc.
this means that if a mod says that you need x beryllium to craft something, you wont find it anymore, because the item beryllium was changed for a different item called "beryllium (rock)", something like that
if your load order is lighter it wont be much of a problem
the vanilla recipes are all accounted for by the author, though. It is quite literally an overhaul.

my problem with OITB is that the malfunctions can stack, but its not often youll be able to find all the components to make a repair. The earlier stages are ok, but different malfunctions can stack and the process of diagnosing the malfunction and then guessing or deducing the correspondent repair can be a bit unwieldy at times.
one problem I had and told the author is that some components cant be bought and are only found during exploration (items classified as junk/misc, like vacuum tape, wire spool), while others require investing up to 2 points in special projects, which is a advanced skill in the science skill tree (tier 3 or 4 I believe). At least these items can, with some luck, be found in certain vendors.

Yeah, I just stopped having fun after a while. Other mods at least weave themselves a little better in the game.
There are also some mods that allow you to be a line cook or deliver supplies to make some cash. These are cool, but the line cook mod uses audio recorded by one guy and then apply it to people that sound nothing like him, even females.
So youre talking with the lady that owns the restaurant and all of a sudden she speaks "we got a new order" in the voice of sylvester stallone.

Starvival. Different settings. Fuel, Ammo, more suvival elements, crew salery. Also make sure to cloth yourselve in star trek unifroms and install more quests. you might want to use "destroy ufo" to fly accross the survace instaed of walking.

it includes a lot, incding being overeaten, intoxication, maintenence of ships and even fuel for vehicle. pretty sure it includes oxigen managment. again with a notepad you can activate/deactivate everything you like/dislike. and differnet settings, e.g. how quick a crew loses moral.
Oh yeah, theres a mod that allows you to buy most crafted items instead of crafting them. I think it makes sense that in the future you can just buy a chair from ikea instead of building your chair like mcgyver.

@normal steeple To answer your question, I don't mind the ever growing list of game settings much really. I tend to Set it at the beginning of a playthrough for whichever character I'm creating and then Rarely change it. I can see for some that the longer the list grows the longer it takes to parse through it. but I only visit it when I feel I need to tweek something or If I get a new mod that adds to it.
Anything a Mod Author can do to his section of that game settings list to make it stand out and noticeable is of course appreciated though.

I'm new to using the Starfield CK.
Currently I'm frequently running into an initialization error "unable to load gizmo models". I have figured out that I can prevent this by deleting my (QtCreationKitSavedSettings.ini) however, I would really like to be able to use saved preferences. Maybe that's silly of me.
Does anyone know how to permanently resolve this?
My pc is definitely within the system requirements. I run the CK in administrator mode. I am using a gamepass copy of the game if that matters.

Is there any way to change the active mission HUD writing that appears in the top left side of the screen? I kinda wanted that MS-DOS era green text theme for it.

@sturdy raft They are both standalone Youshang 🙂 Neither requires the other and both introduce 5 New POI's. I am hoping the Mod Author will be doing more of these moving forward .

The Changeling goes to the Astral Lounge and Gets High on Aurora. Causing her to lose control while dancing and begin to change her identity as she dances. Her last change is terrifying.
I love this. Not only more dances, but also allow our companion to dance with us instead of walking around the club aimlessly.

Question please if I may. Char gen menu hasn't functioned since the update. I can't find a recently updated version to replace it with. Is there a resolution? My presets aren't available and the message of non compatability pops up if I try to sfse launch.

Your companion will sandbox and use dance markers in vanilla, you may just have to wait a while. Or if you don't want to wait, you can use my Command NPCs mod to just tell them to use an available dance marker near you.

As someone who loves Bethesda fallout, Skyrim etc thank you so much to anyone who has made paid mods for Starfield, I have 23 gigabyte installed and spent I dunno $200 - $300 etc 🙈 plus 😱 🙈 on creation credits and I love Starfield and want to support the modders and Bethesda ❤️ thank you everyone .
