These two are really fun to talk/write about. I think people overlook the childhood friend aspect of their connection a lot.

I think it’s part of what makes EM such a dominant Corestrike team. X naturally excels because of his synergy with Era’s power set, but the other half of how she fits on the team is her and Kai’s ability to communicate effectively.

Like X being a solo act is kept in check by Era being on the same page with both of them at all times

That’s what redrafts are for! Catching a lot of stuff like that is as easy as re-reading your work the next day or even a few hours later.

Helps if you read it out loud too. That’s super good not only for catching odd grammar, but helping you figure out if your dialogue sounds natural!

Pushing yourself to start is half the battle, and you don’t have to start out good to learn and improve.
