Gonna do a catch up on a bunch of these soon. In the meanwhile:

Zentaro would probably like the idea of playing a more technical character, even if his skills wouldn’t be particularly up to par for utilizing that technicality. Just about any small or lightweight character fits this bill, and I think he’d skew for something cool so probably Dry Bones or maybe Bowser Jr.

Ai.Mi conversely I think would play to maximize her speed while still looking good. So you’re looking at Rosalina or Pauline for that, as they’re the two most stylish options out of the higher speed characters.

Ai.Mi, natural contrarian that she is, thinks it’s overrated.

Zentaro thinks it’s very challenging, but connects with the protagonist. Silent horned swordsman and all that. It’s one of the few video games he’s trying hard to learn, even if the medium is a little beyond him.

Ai.Mi tries to backseat him a little. He’s too polite to tell her to be quiet, but he also barely understands what she means most of the time so it’s okay!

Ooh something I’m super familiar with!

I think Zentaro would really get into the setting, and the controls would be simple enough for him to get a grasp of it quickly. (Especially given the slow turn based pacing)

Ai.Mi helps him out with some of the number crunching on the stats front, since it can get a little overwhelming!

He’s definitely tried recreating some of those more dramatic combat animations in his spare time.

Fun fact there’s also a Fire Emblem trading card game out there (FECipher) which I think Zentaro would have a lot of fun with given the tactile nature of a card game.

Finii plays stall though, so she doesn’t get invited to play with them very often.

zentaro probably likes the less sweet stuff: dark chocolate and matcha flavors maybe. ai.mi would love sour candy i think.
