its how i learned to play Asher as a Forward and Goalie
then you can get into specific character roles as who would do better as a forward/goalie

TL;DW, Omega Strikers' playerbase has shrunk dramatically and the studio is realizing it's not profitable anymore. They're not going to make new content for the game, though they will continue to make balance changes. The studio is not dissolving. The plan is for them to work on developing new games in the Omega Strikers' universe.

Yeah there's a handful of us that have been playing since beta. It was a ton of fun but definitely fell off as the player base dwindled. I hope they keep making good stuff though.

Especially if there's two normal attack buttons instead of the typical one (alongside a button for specials and other stuff), that way there's actual variation with the normals

Competetive Games with a high-skill ceiling are destined to die because the market is ruled by casual players
They have to heavily lean into a PvE angle and hope it works out, like Stunlock Studios did with V Rising

Who said it had to be competitive? Not every fighter has to be, and I got a feeling they could nail something like that. Especially since there could be a PvE mode built in with beat-em-up mechanics as well as PvP
Most casuals get into games like these because they want to do some cool stuff, and I got a feeling they could make that accessible to all while balancing around that, both on PvE and PvP
