SkaterXL is cool on PC because there are a ton of mod (maps, clothes, etc), but the devs dont communicate well and havent really added much. There still isn't a"game" in there. It's just skating around

Smoother grinding mechanics? Bro no. Its just they use splines and allow you to do trick with only 1mm of your board on the obstacle. Session is just more realistic, not less smooth lol

They're both booty quality games. SkaterXL is like simcade. Session tries to be full sim. They both fail at what they do for different reasons. Ultimately neither game is worth buying in my opinion. But if you really really love skating you might enjoy them both for different reasons.

Hell you don't have to do crazy tricks. You could get a larger longboard and carve around. You'd be surprised how fun it is just to get going on a good set of longboard wheels.
