My game was doing this to me the other day. For some reason there was an update for the game and the dlc that my Xbox didn't auto download. I had to manually go to the game and each dlc I have installed and make it update. After that when I loaded the game back up everything was all good.

That just takes time and practice. It's actually a good thing to learn to ride in all stances and pushes despite the disadvantages mongo has. Helps keep you stable and on your board. But with anything, it takes time to develop a new skill and movement. Just like you could learn to write with your other hand, but we don't give it enough time and practice and just let the dominant hand do the work

It's not just ugly, but it can be dangerous since the weight distribution is off balance. It's much easier to get bucked off the board in a mongo stance than if your front foot stays planted in a normal pushing stance

Would suggest learning your three tricks, that is the easiest method of flat ground points. Would practice at the bottom of the pool so you can get used to turning and feel comfortable in there as well

I just looked up to see if Microsoft made some kind of external drive for the S to be able to plug in use discs, and nope. I'm actually kind of surprised that's not an option for having a DVD/bluray external drive if not for games but at least to play movies. But I guess that's a way they can cut costs more and not have to pay and license/royalties to Sony for Blu-ray use. So unless MS releases some kind of proprietary USB disc drive, those with the XB1S S are strictly digital.

alright, so i've had this problem bothering me for years, and it's the timeframe the events of skate take place in. the first game is set in an unspecificed year, but due to it releasing in 2007, is commonly though to be the year the game takes place. at the end of the game, your skater wins Thrasher's prestigious Skater Of The Year. This would mean they hold that for the year 2007. However, Marc Johnson appears in Skate 2, who's the IRL Skater Of The Year in 2007. There's no alternate timeline stuff either, gear celebrating his SOTY is usable in-game. Another questionable event is Ali Boudala being featured in Skate 1. His fateful motorcycle crash, killing Shane Cross happened in March of the year Skate 1 came out. Like with Marc, no happy alternate timeline stuff here- gear commemorating Shane Cross appears in Skate 3. The logical assumption is that Skate 1 takes place the year before it's release- 2006. Once again, this is thrown out of the window with plenty tracks being featured in the game being released in 2007.

I mean, skater of the year is announced in December of that year. Skate 1 and 2 was released before that happened. Plus it makes sense that the main character [you] would be the one winning it. A game takes a lot to develop and everything in it is done before release. Anything else that happens that year after a game is released would have to be made in an update or a DLC. That would mean more license deals have to be made if it involves a third party or anything not solely made by Black box/EA themselves or something already agreed to. So that gets in the way.
Skate is a game taking place in a made up world with a made up story, it's an alternate universe in itself really.

Seeing how the last contest rules stated that it could be one long clip or multiple clips put together, I'm going to say some basic use of editing software is fine. Otherwise it would almost be impossible to string stuff together

Because there's no way I could have made my entry without iMovie helping me. My current setup for capturing gameplay footage is: playing on my Xbox1 > use the in-game replay editor > tweak everything there to be just right > hit play > tell Xbox "record that" > upload to OneDrive > download on my iPad > edit in iMovie > upload to YouTube.

For SOME contests, we do have the ability to have parental guardians/ legal adults sign for a minor - but these rules (and the value of the prizes) do not allow for that, unfortunately.

I would say it's because all 3 games backwards compatible on Xbox with skate 1 and 2 being on game pass. So we can play all of the games on the newer consoles without having to buy an old console just to play an old game. PlayStation doesn't offer that kind of backwards compatibility
