Some submissions go against the UGC rules, like 3rd party music, etc. (there’s a whole list of rules re: UGC submissions outside of contests).
We look through submissions (when there isn’t a contest running) and if they align with the UGC submission guidelines and it’s content that is dope we want to share, it can be selected to go into the category section at the bottom of the page.
Submitting isn’t a guarantee it will be shared on the website. And was never stated as such.

While I respect people that can trick line. It does get a little annoying when everyone I encounter is trick lining when I'm just trying to chill and have fun with a game I've been playing since I was like 4-5 years old.

But.
Maybe there should be some sort of tab in the online menu when searching for a match? As I said earlier.
There should a be a casual tab, a ranked tab, and maybe a tricklining tab while the other tabs somehow make it so tricklining isn't possible so that the casuals or the other players that don't personally enjoy tricklining have more of a chance at winning an online match. If someone that doesn't trickline wants to face someone that does just click the tricklining tab in the online menu. I feel like a decent amount of people that play video games are casual and hop on after work or after school maybe every other day. So I think it would be more fair and balanced if there were different tabs to fit different playstyles

That's a little against the grain of a sandbox experience many games try to capture.
NOTE: This next comment is not specific to the next skate. game.
Devs create a sandbox with things to do, but the real joy and excitement comes from the unexpected, the random, the imaginations of the players IN the sandbox.
In real terms, if you were to take a bunch of kids, drop them in a sandbox at a park, and say "Only play this way", they wouldn't enjoy it. They may like it for a minute, but eventually, the fun of it will fade and become a chore, boring, and they'd lose interest.
Now, in gaming, when a dev team creates a sandbox, they have no idea the infinite possibilities that random gamers will come up with to satisfy their drive for fun - and that's what is important for games that embrace the sandbox style of gameplay - like Battlefield, ROBLOX, Minecraft. For those games, the most important thing is to give folks the tools they need.. then see what they create.
Part 2
THAT BEING SAID, how someone interacts or enjoys the sandbox won't be the same for the next person. Having guiderails to allow folks to "do their thing" without taking away from the fun and enjoyment of others is a very fine line to walk. Hats of to the dev teams who can create this type of sandbox, using whatever levers/tools necessary for the maximum amount of player happiness and fun.

We announced the game June of 2020, not 2019, so it's only been a year and a few months. We also dropped a teaser video featuring some folks we're talking with about the game's development who may/may not have seen/played a super early build. Again, it's super early, so it's not anywhere near something we're going to show publicly yet.
I know you're anxious and excited - as are we. But we want to do this right, and as Cuz said in the last video, we don't want to "f&%$ it up", so we're not going to rush it.
