Here's the deal:

I've had to remove a few posts promoting actual piracy (links to ISOs) that were linked along with instructions in the chat about how to install the emulators.

Technically, the use of emulators is a grey-area. EA TOS, section 6, near the list at the bottom.

Those using legit discs - it's a non-issue but not something we want to be promoting on the official Discord.

Acting like it's the end of the world because the mod team have asked you not to discuss it - (btw, check rule 10 on #rules about this specifically) is silly and escalating it exaggerated lengths will only affect you - muted, etc.

I know folks use emulators to play the franchise on PC. But what we're not going to ever allow is discussion of piracy (meaning mentions of ISOs, hacked links, etc.)

What I will do - to ensure there's clarity for everyone - and this will not be a discussion going forward, is hit up my legal partner tomorrow and get EA's black-and-white stance on emulators.
Then we'll add that to the rules and that will be it.

For now, keep it to a minimum. (And don't post links, videos, or walkthroughs on how to use it.)
