Im just saying. From my experience people exaggerate the least important aspects of skating and over look the more important ones. Ankle/toes over popping with legs. As it is both more efficient with your energy and is more consistent to re create the same movement. Your legs have muscle memory of walking giving maneuverability Your ankles have muscle memory of popping and bending like spring boards. Which really makes more sense to pop with? Everyone skate different. But dont work harder when there are smarter ways to do things.

so basically to ollie you need to jump and kick the tail down with your back foot's toes, drag your front foot towards the nose, then once you hit the pocket you just push your front foot down a bit so the board levels out and your back foot goes on it, and then you land

It’s going to feel like a Skate game, is what I can say. It’s not going to be something different. If you know and love and play  Skate it’s going to feel familiar. And then where it expands from there, that’ll be interesting.
