It just baffles me how we quite clearly give this feedback regularly but nothing changes and no real improvements to gameplay or replayability is improved. There’s no wide variety of challenges or different game modes that, let’s be real, aren’t exactly hard to do and I’m sure they could’ve done on release or in the last season.

They’re just trying to keep us on the hook and stay invested so we keep spending money and our hours on the game. Could bet money that S.K.A.T.E was ready to go back in season 1

When you’re rolling down the megaramp, hold down on the right stick to prepare for Ollie, whilst you’re crouched, pull down and then left or right (in a J or L motion) with the left stick and your character will keep riding straight but twist the body ready to spin - once you’re in the air just hold left stick in whatever direction you pre-winded (left for J motion, right for L motion) and you’ll spin super quick

Guys I really need help for a main mission, I'm stuck on it for 2 days now. There is Speedy's last challenge where you have to do a perfect sequence on the isle of grom called "the white whale". How the f am I supposed to do this challenge? I cannot land on my board for the last bearing and I fail miserably. Any tips on how to do it???

Every time I try, I never land on the last slope or fall off of the board and cannot finish the sequence. This blocks my main story progression and I'm going crazy

no, the main problem is I tried it at least 70 times at this point and when I jump off of the ledge before the last bearing doing a flip trick in the air, in lands with a crash and I can never reach the last one, I literally managed to make it ONCE until the end and I flew away from it so I never reached it because my direction was wrong

Need to make sure you’ve got the right stick pulled down and keep it there while with the left stick you pull down and then in the direct you want to prewind. It’s very particular but it works fine

I had a hunch that Mixtape was inspired by Life is Strange games and Lost Records - those games are LMBTQ and disability-positive games often depicting characters in a different way. I guess this is part of that trend. I think I will buy Mixtape and see it for myself to decide whether my theory is legit.

Most of the time narrative design also creates characters that are "different" in a negative way to make the universe of the game realistic. Not like in most stories where nobody is unlikeable, autistic or disabled. People got used to idealistic and "normal" characters way too much imo and I like it when some characters are more complex.

Honestly, there were more than enough over the course of the season. Maybe even too many. Doesn't change the fact that the coop requirement for OTL contradicts the lack of social/group finder features in the game. Rely on external tools such as Discord to find a group or kiss that reward goodbye

Only five and only once. Now that you mention it, if the monthly or seasonal task says 35 goals then it requires 7 different OTL challenges cleared in total (7 * 5 goals = 35 total)

Yep, that's how I recall it as well. We got approx. 2 per week easily over 10 weeks that 20, even solo if you only clear 2-3 goals that would have been enough. All comes back to live service nature, regular engagement etc. I don't adore it either but that's just the name of the game

Maybe that is further obstructed if you didn't have instant access to Grom, often there was one on the island, the other one in San Van.. so experiences might diverge even if we shared the same, regular playtime.

Land it, come back - do not touch the bearing, and go up to the top of the entry of the barge. Turn around, heading left to the area where the 540 needs to register, and do a 540 grab, landing right before the bearing.
