yeah that was always the biggest issue from the start. I can still play any other skate whenever i’d like, and i’d imagine that will be the case for many years to come. When this one is inevitably sunset, it’ll just vanish. I sincerely doubt with how overly-monetized it has been, they’ll provide a local option “out of the goodness of their hearts”

No, I’m actually not sure about the objectives. I purchased a streamlined version of it for Xbox, and there’s a pretty steep learning curve for the controls. People love that game, but simulation games Iike Session and BMX streets can be difficult to pick up.

I have a question about those OTL challenges... I might have not paid the best attention to how they rolled these out and assumed I would have enough "goals" in these challenges left to do to tick off the task requirements and get the TV prop but I played a little bit of these at one point in the season with some people and managed to get the "highest goal" challenge done but currently my task that is asking me to "complete goals in OTL challenges" is at 13/35... I noticed there are currently only 2 active OTLs even available to do (because ofcourse) I tried to solo one of them and only got to 7 of the goals done so I thought it would add 7 towards that task... No, it counts the "goals" as the milestones during the challenge as you go through them, I currently only have 9 more available to finish assuming I grind with atleast one other person, next week will there only be 2 more OTL challenges active for the last week of the season? So would it only be possible for me to do 13+19 more =32/35 and just come up short? Or will there be more sets of challenges than 2 in the last week?

yeah they only had 2 active every week, you had to finish a total of 35 OTL goals (so getting all 5 on 7 different otls, would take you at least 4 weeks) i think you just started too late

in 2022, devs PROMISED no paywalled content in the form of maps or tricks, just cosmetics. this was accepted widely by the community (for the most part.)

now come this year, we find out that isle of grom, WHICH HAS BEEN IN THE GAME since early access went public, is being locked behind a pseudo paywall.

Early access is still a paywall, if it means that paywall can only be torn down if you have to pay for a premium pass to get access to something that was already in the game.

If your platform is Xbox, where you stream to doesn't make any difference. You still need to set the core permission on the console itself in order for the replay editor to actually export or save footage.

If your allow permissions are set correctly, and you see the full replay when exporting (not saving) from the editor, and you get a confirmation that the clip was exported successfully, then you have a local storage issue. 99.9% of the time, this is a permissions problem. What happens if you use the console to save clips instead of the in-game editor? Does the clip show up in the console's capture gallery?

Player Council, Creator Program, and Devs are all on the same page as for how they and the community feels. It's just that the higher ups tell them we want this instead you can't really go against them at all or you'll lose your job. That's how it is for a majority of AAA studios rn since at the end of the day the higher ups have to appease the shareholders abd publishers first hand to make sure the game is making money no matter what predatory actions they must take. Because of the also huge disconnect between higher ups/publishers and the studio 99.9% of the time
