Honestly, looking back at Skate 2, 3, & hopping on session today, seeing how poorly they've aged visually kinda made me appreciate the slightly less realistic aesthetic to this game. A lot of times, skaters would wait for their turn when say, doing a line on the same ledge or rail. If you fall, break an arm or leg, get ko'd whatever, crawl your way outta there. Skate traffic is WAYY more chaotic than road traffic, I'll tell ya that.

Realistically speaking, the most times people may find the need to use 'player collision' is in crowded places like skate parks or community (skate) parks. If you were to do lines in random spots, then you'd find it highly likely that you can zen out and hit a line for an hour 🤣

it’s possibly something with your PC - possible misconfiguration of the anti-cheat during a bad install or from an outdated install file, etc. (I’ve not had a Javelin error on 3 different PCs - PC and Steam on each - other than a timeout or two, but without specifics, can’t really say what could be the problem. anything from a bad installation, to other software blocking it, timing out when connecting to Javelin servers due to network issues - there’s a bunch of things it could be)

that’s why it’s important to post (or add to a thread - with details) so the QV team can investigate.
EA Javelin errors have error codes. make sure to add that to your post.

Sheriffs are usually granted only 1 bullet to find the Outlaws. When the Host grants them 50 bullets, all hell breaks lose.

So, with this context, if every other player in a server in skate. is given the freedom to place 50+ QDO's, then you'll know what happens

you just have to position the camera in front of the face and add a keyframe then keep adding keyframes as you move with the character.. probably want a wide FOV like 90-100..

might be easiest to locate the camera by starting pointing at the back of the head and moving it "through" the head until you just see the forward view and not any parts of head/face/mouth/teeth etc

I don't think it'll be permanently gone. As a heads up though, the slides are a part of the costume itself. Therefore, whenever they start selling the individual items unbundled the slides won't be able to be purchased individually.

Game sucks as a casual player. I launch the game intending to just skate around, but the endless focus on doing challenges and weeklies to earn currency is pushed so heavily I always end up getting caught in an endless cycle of doing that instead, and the grind for the amount of currency to get everything is absurd.
As a realistic skater who loved this series since the original demo for skate 1, I hate that so much of my time is spent trickline spamming to beat stupid "2000 point sequence score" challenges

All of that stuff is optional. Dailys, Weeklys, etc. It is still entirely possible to be a casual player and just skate around doing tricks or lines. That's what a lot of the people in this server do (including myself).

You guys are being purposefully obtuse if you see that kind of predatory game design that's built upon reams of psychological research on influencing player choices and just say "uhh dont do it"

Im hoping we get the ability to adjust playback speed between key frames. I'm sure I could just export to a third party software and do the same, but it would be nice if in-game I could be at 100% for the build up then slow down the trick itself and then speed back up.

Yeah, too many frames or too much movement can have a weird effect. I've had some where I just restarted setting the camera. I'm hoping they'll have a legit tutorial when it's fully finished.

Right now it's just:

• Maintain steady speed
• Fewer frames the better
• Don't move out of your original focus too much
• Record in slow, speed up in post (this one is more difficult to recommend because I don't expect everyone to download an editor)

Admittedly I probably did try too hard of a line to film for a first try with the editor. Skating up and down and between stuff. Still annoyed me, I feel like everything I tried to get it good didnt work. I did film a fair bit in skater xl and I thought those things I learnt in that game would apply here but apparently not.
