Your computer does not have sufficient RAM to run the game. It needs at least 4GB of dedicated 3D memory, you are trying to play on an integrated iGPU which uses system memory as VRAM.
In other words, your notebook needs to have at least 16GB of RAM or else you can forget it. Even if you got it to run on Intel Graphics, you'd be playing with a choppy 15-25 FPS

You have none, zero. Graphics memory sits on a GPU and it seems you have none hence why it's using your intel CPU as a graphics device

Integrated graphics make it work by using your computers main system RAM as VRAM, through virtualization or something but not sure how exactly it does it or what the limits are. It can use up to 4GB if you had 8GB of RAM but if you're also trying to run an operating system, browser, other programs with that same memroy... yeah you'll naturally get that error when you launch skate. its like trying to squeeze an elephant through the door frame

But yeah it’s possible the deal could fall through. There’s any number of factors. Corporate lawyers will probably be continuously scrutinising the deal to make sure each side gets what they want out of this. I don’t think the deal will fall through, but I’m not ruling out the possibility. I look at it like a 85/15 split

I found out about shredders only in 2024 after I had gotten back into Steep and watched a YT video about snowboard games cause Steep didn't quite feel right

Oh for sure but I rarely look at my characters face. And man my settings are crazy. Think my gravity is something crazy like 18. And jump is low. Can’t remember. It’s been a while since I’ve played. The backcountry lines I do require less floating with my jumps.

Just wish we could also reduce the acceleration a bit that comes from the increased gravity

The missions are SP only, but the free roam open map is crossplay MP, but you can make private lobbies or play offline as well

It also features a bunch of irl snowboarders that voice themselves (and the boards/gear they run is the one you unlock)

I played steep for a long time, but never got RR due to it looking so much more arcadey

So I looked for other snowboard games, found this. Didn't touch Steep since. Also Shredders is still not a sim. It's more like skate, a good mix between arcade and sim

You sometimes see assets loading in late, but it runs 60 FPS bar very occasional loading hiccups

PS5 also just got a physical release

You cannot get off your board and walk around like in steep though

But you can at any time switch to drone mode, fly around the map and set a new spawn point

You can also tune gravity and jump height settings in the vanilla game

I can feel the PASSION put into the feeling of skating but then the world is just empty and all the outfits/cosmetics just scream corporate make money off the kids feeling

You have to contribute in the server via messages, photos, videos, and posts to level and gain better roles.

Like at level 15 you earn the “Started” role that I have, and slowmode is removed for you.

At level 30 you earn the “Getting Noticed” role which is blue, and can send gifs and images (in general discussion, you can send images almost anywhere else)

At level 60 you earn the “noticed” role which is purple, and can send videos in general discussion.
