well yes that is the obvious choice, if i have a floating prop and someone comes to my drop and places their item on my drop then moves there drop it WILL delete mine unfortunately there isnt anything i can do besides go to a new lobby

@arctic gull Honestly I can't remember not being into skateboarding. THUG2 & American wasteland, Viva La Bam are some of my earliest memories as a kid. As a kid most of my "irl skateboarding" was putting plywood down on grass & rolling. Didn't learn to do tricks for years, when I finally hit a pop shuv on actual concrete.

Just tab out, tab back in.

Usually, that's just the Image Sharpening issue - and it also affects FPS, so if your game is running below 60 fps, tabbing in and out would fix it.

I'd usually hop into skate. and click on desktop before it opens. When it finally opens, it'd be on windowed, then all I have to do is just click on it and it would skip the whole pixelated shenanigan.

You can completely ignore that by disabling v-sync and image sharpening (On NVIDIA or AMD FSR) or just set the image sharpening to Native and it'll run just fine. But of course, the imaging would be kinda ugly. So as of now, tabbing out and back in is the best solution @hollow hornet

I am not sure if San Van Spooktacular is still gettable, but I suspect that it's not, even though it's still in the game. I hope I'm wrong, though. I used some guides to find some radio stations (like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qB7Z1zXMGTE and https://www.reddit.com/r/SkateEA/comments/1n4w9w9/unlocking_new_playlists_with_new_music/ (though beware, the cinema is in Hedgemont, not in Gullcrest like listed in that reddit-post)) but ultimately I just kept turning off the music and listened to music sources around the map and grabbed them to check if I had it already or not. What I noticed is that the very same places aren't as fixed as you might think. You can find different radio stations at different times you visit them on the very same spot. Only few stations are set to some areas, I think, like Ballroom 237 only being played underneath large building sets like SV News building in Gullcrest. But mind you, I haven't ruled out that it's definitely not playing anywhere else, so it might also be everywhere, just rare.
For season 2 I found the additional radio stations "Gripmas Carols" (at the community parks) and "80's Sugar Pops", although I have yet to make a thorough investigation through the whole map this season, so there might be even more new stations.
I hope that helps. I wish somebody would properly keep track of the stations and of all the songs in them. That would be helpful.

Just a random input;

I tried playing skate. by just walking around to admiring the lighting (like an E3 demo), but another thing that caught my attention was the animations. Aside from the stuttery animations from the NPCs, the Player animation is so well done!

The transition between slow walk, to brisk walking, to jogging, to running, to sprinting, is RDR2 level - and I would even go as far as to say it's BETTER than RDR2.

The only downside being the lack of day-night cycle, but other than that, the whole 20 minute experience of literally just walking and hearing Vee ramble about 'pumping blood' is honestly quite entertaining, to say the least.

i get cpu/gpu spikes at times, always done it.. but recently since the 29.2 update (the one before the latest) that broke the resolution its been super chill and the game has been running with DLSS balanced (couldnt change that it always reverts)..

since the lastest Nvidia drivers, i can now go back to using no upscaling with TAA and i get the spikes again.. funnily enough, it spikes the most if i click away from the game to type something here

My bad on wording, it does not mean it is an intrinsically bad game if it doesn't have a big playerbase, but if there is, for instance, progression and reward tied to the multiplayer aspect and no one wants to play, that is a bad thing. Why haven't they made pvp multiplayer gamemodes yet? That would bring all my friends back to the game, but currently they say that the game lacks content and freeskate is less enjoyable than skate 3 since the map is very small and illogical in some ways (weird map design decisions)

I couldn’t agree more the the cooperative / multiplayer aspect is luckluster currently.

Primarily I spend my time free skating solo, or ask a couple people if they’re able to squad up for challenges,

While the Party Beacons was a step in the right direction, we’re still leaps away from the multiplayer aspect being fluid and second nature (in a good way).

While I am hesitant to say this, I think I’ve come around on the idea of toggleable proximity chat.

It definitely would make skating cooperatively much easier, as all you’d need to do is roll up on a potential friend to party up.

Of course there’s the flipside of that equation…which is why it should be able to he toggled on or off as wanted.

I dunno, I've found myself enjoying each QoL update so far, the little things being added have felt considerable enough, over the past few months I've been playing. But taking a break & letting those small updates pile up would probably make for a more substantive return.
