and there's some minor tweaks on XP accrual.
there's a setting in Arcane for "good posts" - so not one word replies. some of the channels that aren't really for chat (like videos or pics) don't accrue XP - but image perms are on there already).

also, there's a role that folks can get if they spam emotes or use emotes to be abusive (but not bad enough to get banned) where they stop earning XP (and have no reaction permissions).

it's unfortunate, but necessary to keep the place as toxic-free as possible.

Like this message for instance, it’s around 550 characters, so would that net me 150 XP? 100?

Is XP even earned from character count? Or what system is in place to total up a percentage of XP per message?

I love digging into the specs and backend stuff like that. My friends call me the “settings guy,” because I’ll spend 15 minutes before I even start a game tweaking settings to optimize my experience lmao

i cant say how Arcane is configured here but from what i've been told in other servers it can be say a random amount per message (within some sort of range) or setup to be per word..

I think also there is a cool-down between it awarding XP so separating comments into 2-3 lines wont help either

oh and i think there's some sort of boosters that can be used like role/channel/effort etc

Well if you delete the user config directory and reinstall you might get the game to revert to whatever it uses as default settings on your PC, but if you play with graphics settings that bug will be back. I don't think there's a way to fix it on our end.

You didn't do a ground grab, you're supposed to just hold L2 while stationary, if the character isn'T doing it there might be something wrong with your input config. How are you using the Ps4 pad on computer? Just UBS cord?
