I’m finding that once I ran out of quests and reached level 10 in every city there’s really no reason to play this game anymore. Sure you can skate around and hit the same spots over and over but it gets boring fast. When there’s really no objective you’re working toward it makes it hard to wanna play the game. I was hoping we would get some more loot boxes maybe an additional loot box for every city or 2 with some of the new brands you introduced but no, as expected those are all item shop exclusive.

If you guys want this game to last, you’re running out of time to fix it. Because, even people like me, who have spoken positively on your behalf and given the benefit of the doubt for the future might hold, even I’m losing hope in this game.

Also Joker, I get your point of view, I'm kinda trolling but there main focus seems to be ironing out bugs/features and the like before I guess "official release". I would expect more brand deals and stuff to be ironed out before then

they do appreciate the insight/feedback in here though. What do you think is a replayable/actionable way that players could grind and not burn out? I did a ton of challenges at first but now almost exclusively free skate unless its with other people to boost them

Maybe just maybe that’s exactly I’m doing. Trying to give constructive criticism as to why I think the game is getting boring once you run out of objectives. And then we got ball garglers like you who think any negative statement about the game is “hate”. No. I want this game to succeed. That’s why I’m saying the things I don’t enjoy about it. The game spawns you at your last location before you close the game. I had a bug where I couldn't load into the game on my main account because of this. I would get CTDs at the loading screen. Had to launch the game on a beefier pc to reset my location.

I finally fully completed nosebleed grind today with a party of 10-10-10’s, all goals done. still took an hour 😹

the tech knowledge needed to complete it is insane. The 2nd descent drop off wasn’t that hard to figure out but the last part when u have to actually get off the grind and land on the last 2 bearings u gotta 5-0 and point ur board towards the left and u would slide off the little incline. Yeah I just put this in #skate-ideas

But freestyle would need to be like, for arguments sake, you go into manual, and when stationary you can hold RB/R1 to transition on the board to a railstand or pogo for example.

Then when in it. Right stick acts as normal for tricks.

holding RB/R1 modifies positions or whatever.

So it’s not entirely a new mechanic in terms of players learning it - but it’s adapted from how a lot of the game already plays.

The difference being you just have to start stationary.

Same way holding R1/RB in a particular place on a pipe transitions to hand plants.

Hello skating mates , i have a problem and maybe you can help me : i finished the new missions ( coping tricks and impossible tricks missions ) , i done all the new ticks challenges ( blue mark ones ) and all the non rotative ones ( all the challenges who stay even after a day ) , but i still have brickswitch locked with a lock icon , and i have no fast travel points available for this location ( but i can see some in game , there is a few fast travel points visible when i skate across brickswitch area )
SO , is there a bug who blocked me the next missions who allow to unlock this region + fast travel points , or i missed something ?
And if it's not normal , how i can enable theses fast travel points + unlock brickswitch ?
I precise , i only have 3 or 5 ticks challenges available for this region , all already done entirely , i'm level 10 on any other region ( 10 on Hedgemont , 10 on Gullcrest , 10 on market mille , since a long time ) and except theses daily rotation challenges , all other challenges are done entirely ..

Ok ! big thanks to you and @fiery fable too for the answers , i was desperately searching why i wasn't able to unlock them and was wondering if missions was bugged ( i spent a hour to do all the rotation challenges to have a complete done map XD ) but now i know i just can't and have to wait for a future update ^^'
And yes , Brickswitch is for me the best section of the map , the most interesting one , with the best spots , some of the most technical street spots , and among the most photogenic ones !
Really hurry to have this region unlocked , for sure it's promising ! 🙂
Even if Gullcrest and Market Mile have great spots too , i largely prefer Brickswitch's spots 🙂

Yeah but I meant even when I do a quick 180 or 360 back in my goofy stance if i try to pop right after I 180 back to goofy it still does a cross-bone even though I’m pointing my stick to the right for a tuck knee, so whenever I 180 or do a spin I have to wait for another second or do an Ollie before I pop, I need to figure that out

( except for the SVN hall and around , one of the most beautiful and interesting spot for the other regions of the game :p i love this area )

One of my fav Brickswitch spot is in front of a kind of warehouse , there is a line challenge just on this spot ( the one with the nosegrind to do on a rail and switch to a tailslide on the edge of the wall right after the rail , with a flip to do and 400 points to reach in a single try , a ticks challenge ) , this spot is really photogenic , interesting with the loading ramp + the hand rail and the trash bins , if you do your thing right , you can do a really cool sequence with a end on the parallel road , i'm trying a sequence with a hippy flip + other tricks there , for the moment i didn't managed to do it , but for sure i will be a really cool sequence if i manage to success it 🙂

(That one is listed in the patch notes. We have players affected in our server playing on alt accounts. Okay unless sterzi can actually play sometimes and then it might be something else. The first time I thought they meant they couldn't pass black screen at all but now it sounds like something else. Spamming buttons doesn't do anything for the black screen issue they're fixing.)

it varies for me, i see some people skating around fine, some are static, some twitch. it's fine, best the server can do is delay the 'replays' a bit more, but then we get delay instead of flickery 😛

game could be running slow for a couple reasons...(your specs, certain graphic settings, etc. etc.)
try these troubleshoots:
turn off v-sync

cap your frame rate in properties

change your refresh rate

switch your graphics and revert it back to what you had

change your Global illumination to static

oh yeah, and switch your window to borderless(same thing with graphics, switch to one and back to borderless)

Someone had said something along the lines of incorporating more of a story line, which could potentially be bringing players together more.

  • Possibly something to do with M-Corp
  • Adding 'un-skateable' spots. [in a sense locked/security is on site] Then with that, a community-based mission/challenge/etc would apply in order to 'open' said spot.
  • Having the big open spaces host events that add a pop-up park in that area so players can compete just like irl.

I appreciate that I CAN climb and explore the city beyond its avg pedestrian limits - but that doesn’t mean I wanna go searching every rooftop just to skate somewhere new all the time each season update either. Sure they added Eelside, and it’s dope - but it feels like the roof tops were the most catered to. Neat they did it - once - but I hope that’s not a reoccurring theme come future seasons

every ricochet match is exciting man, you don't even watch it for a win and that's what I liked so much, you're watching to see how godamn powerful he makes his opponent look by the way he sells the hits.

but he was never given an actual persona in the ring, he was just sold as the guy who gets beat up... I really wish they'd have given him some Deadpool ' Merc with a mouth ' kind of personality, would have been very entertaining to watch him run his mouth to other fighters and then get the absolute spit beaten out of him lol
