Twice the amount of tix to earn, but they aren’t changing the amount of challenges drop weekly, the pass will have 100 things, they’ve said they’re changing the tix economy too though so all that could still mean you have to play almost every day of season 2 to complete it like I had to for season 1. How could they not know what we would have to do this season? I just have lost faith that they will do what is right by the players, because what’s right for them is to keep it a daily slog

Yeah me too. Just doing some challenges and combining them with the tasks (happens automatically some days). Sometimes doing it as fast as I can, sometimes a lot of freeskating in between…sometimes coop.

Doing the daily tasks takes my somewhere between 15-30 minutes I guess. It’s not that bad.

All the daily challenges are like an hour if I rush?

dailies are more a prompt than a reason i guess in that respect.. for me its usually 1 hr before and after reset where i'll free skate and post random stuff and do the dailies.. trouble is the reset is 1am 😫 but i still do it hehe

For me reset is at 18pm so it’s usually just “gaming after dinner”. or if I have stuff to do, at like 11pm when I get home before bed.

And yeah i also did the “(half) hour before reset, (half) hour after reset” combo. But that was when reset was still at 7pm.

Well I think if I read the post right I should still be able to finish the pass in season 2 because it states "Don’t forget, having the Premium skate.Pass in Season 1 allows you to continue earning progress for the Season 1 pass during Season 2." But then later on it says "Once the following Season ends, you can’t complete progression against the legacy skate.Pass." But I think that just means you can't have more than 2 passes on the go? I've done everything but missed a few dailies or forgot to grab them in the shop

Most games do not have you carry currency from one Season to the next, unless it’s paid currency (like SVB) or core currency (like Rip Chips).
Event currency is specific to events, and Seasonal currency is generally to be used in that season you earned it.

Now, there’s folks that saved up, or didn’t purchase items in the skate.Pass because they didn’t like/want what was offered.
that feedback (the latter) has been heard and improvements are coming.

best option - spend it so you don’t lose it.

skate. was built from the ground-up on a completely new engine for the franchise, not as a sequel, etc.

and the game is nowhere close to “finished”, thus early access and continued development, additions, etc.

recreating or redesigning modes on a new engine with a new studio ain’t super easy and takes time.

A majority of this game's playerbase won't spend a dime, either because they see no reason to, or they quite literally can't (kids)

But a small minority of this game's playerbase will spend about $10-50 on this game, depending on what they've bought or have chosen to buy

And lastly, an even smaller minority are financial whales, people who have easily spent more than $100 on this game, and are the ones primarily funding the title

Considering that the only microtransactions are cosmetics, those who don't spend anything don't lose out on anything other than cosmetics. There's no paid tricks, no paid maps, no paid advantages, etc.

when they can identify it in production (live build) and resolve it quickly, they do. but there’s a lot on the backend that could cause things to not register.

that’s why it’s important to share those bugs in the #bugs-and-tech-issues with details, video, etc. so the QV teams can track and push for fixes. sometimes, it’s a simple back end fix. Sometimes it’s much more complicated.

the goal of the studio is to not have them, but sometimes they do pop up. so the next step is to figure out WHY they popped up, where, how, and then fix it, but also prevent it from happening again.

@uneven tangle at the chum bucket, go to the very very top. it wont be enough clearance to land it endless. what I did was I stacked multiple quarter pipess on top of each other (I think i ended up needing like 4 or so) until i had enough height to land it with endless. it was quite easy once you get the height. @teal needle its a glitch theres some announcement about it somewhere
