To be fair, as a kid, the objectives were to much of a pain to bother with. So I kinda just ignored them and played freeskate only. Skate 3 never had "Secret Videos" or Cutscenes. Just the stuff that interrupts your session inbetween while loading a challenge

If I'm thinking of the right challenges, the ones worth 50 don't reset seemingly ever. The ones worth 5 do. And if it takes people ages to get the free cosmetics they are more likely to pay money for (sometimes) the exact same cosmetics.

But it is Ollie, release, Right stick up, add R2/RT, then release right stick again and then add X/A.

So you don't have to hold the stick up and X/A because you would need more fingers.

Also it's L2/LT when you're riding goofie. (and depending on your settings it could also be another button for the foot...X on xbox or...that would be triangle or something on playstation, I don't know because I havent touched a PS controller in ages haha)

Most are bothered that the time required makes many people feel that they NEED to buy Tix on top of paying for the Battle Pass just to finish it... Creating a grind in a game is not inherently crazy to most people, but playing almost every single day without finishing a pass during its own season IS a bit crazy by industry standards.

Imo, missing a couple weeks of a season should not make people feel punished. They should be able to have some reasonable semblance of a life outside of the game while still finishing everything if they play often. I think if you play half the days in a season and don't finish a pass you bought, that's bad for business. My friends who don't play enough Fortnite to finish the pass tend not to buy a 2nd pass.

However I do think the grind is a bit unnecessary, at least with the current structure of how you earn tix. I don't use my Tix because it's annoying to claim anything. You get the double congrats and have to reopen and go back through the list sometimes. That's my feedback on using the Tix. If I could just check things to unlock all at once I'd probably be like eh, why not.

I get that. The "nerf" surprised me too at the time. But yeah it was 5 chips per objective before 0.28 too. So I get it in hindsight. ANd there are a lot of people like me who don't know what to do with their chips lol.

Just to add clarity here, moving the right stick moves your board so that you grab it differently, so you can and may in fact want to hold that until you are solidly grabbing your board -- then it can be safely released without changin the way you grabbed your board (centrally, front, or tail). You also want to make sure you move the board before pressing grab, or you will grab the wrong place.

So just FYI, the thing every new player misses in this game about vert is that it's not about a well-timed ollie at the top of the ramp or anything, it's about letting your momentum which is built before you hit the edge of the vert carry you further up into the air, which is achieved primarily by pumping, which means crouching low and then standing as you hit the halfway point down or up a ramp (you can do it in both directions, but in this game it mostly only works on slopes that have some level of curvature).

Mechanically, you can pump two ways:

1. Hold either trigger or both triggers partially down (like the way you partially move R-stick to manual), and your character will crouch without grabbing the board. Release this with good timing to pump.

2. Enable forward-stick pumping in the gameplay options. Then, forward on the left stick will make you crouch fully without grabbing, and releasing it will pump. I would not use this with forward-stick to push (go forward), as they somewhat conflict when trying to really push the limits of your speed and air time.

I use forward-stick pumping.

Also, if you push (not ollie, not pump) at the moment you're passing the edge of a vert, after you already successfully pumped, you will get a little extra air if you time it just right. Godspeed.

Rolling waves skate park.. you have to prewind your spins and pop as high as you can at the top of the half pipe wall.. Then flick both sticks in the same direction with a tweaked grab. You have to roll into the ramp from the top of the loop/roll-in

This event really feels like a "two events a season" contractual obligation. Only one park, no seasonal challenges, cosmetics that are just basic clothing items with the event's name plastered on them. Even the paid bundle is lackluster.
Feels like it needed more time in the oven.

you prolly not understand, its the fact they put them into challenges where we need for example 8/8 challenges to finish the event and you only have 8 challenges to complete, so you need to do the coop one, they changed it in an early event so you had to do for example 7/8 challenges so you can skip coop one and said sorry, now its its back w the same mistake christ god in heaven just accept there are ppl that play solo even in online game there exist things like solo raids and stuff cause devs listen, yes they should be otional thats all im asking

However the cosmetics do look cleaner and have a nice retro futuristic look

If anything, please fix the painfully broken grinding. I'm so beyond tired of getting flung off of rails and ledges at mach 8, especially during line challenges. This game is the first game to ever make me fight the urge to yeet my controller at the wall and not because of difficulty but because of the need to constantly be fighting the broken mechanics.

its an online coop game, u cant get mad at it for being an online coop game
