I definitely agree with most of the criticisms of the game but also at the same time, waiting all that time is building anticipation. So while theres good complaints for the most part, it will never be the same as the original franchise (especially those who grew up with it and are nostalgic). I can agree and see where you’re coming from but look at battlefield if you’re apart of the fanbase you know 2042 wasn’t the best they took that feedback and actually listened and delivered on a new game that satisfied the playerbase and I may be wrong but I believe they just broke a few records for most copies sold and some other records. Personally I think there’s a way to appease both crowds and it starts with actually listening to the playerbase base vs making greedy corporate decisions that just hurts the franchise and drops the fanbase.

I don't know if anticheat would get mad but there are programs that allow people to emulate controller input with a keyboard for the purposes of testing controller input in a game without having a controller. If you played skate with one of those, it might work, although the game does fundamentally require two joysticks for some maneuvers and nothing but two joysticks would properly simulate that on keyboard.

Well, thats sad to hear, but honestly, there has to be some metric that EA used, based on the community, to reject these changes, whether good or not for the player. That's what they mean when they say they listen I think. And how would we know? We only hear the complaints really. Do we know how many surveyd said they would spend money on cosmetics anyways? Its very possible that there were more people saying "I don't care, its skate" and EA saw that.

major blogs will always be on ea.com or the skate site - which would include patch notes, seasonal blogs, (i'm working on a The Grind Rewind - which would be like a consolidation of the 6 big Grind blogs for those that haven't read the 6 blogs individually), as well as some more gameplay articles like the controls, replay editor, and quick drop articles.

Status Updates usually come in pretty hot, so we focus on getting them where the people are (social and community channels).

It is implicit communication that the bug has been noticed and shortly after that bugs tend to be acknowledged elsewhere. (It's not inaccurate they have not replied; it's inaccurate that it's "just someone reporting it." It's more than that if you read the page carefully.)

If they want to do a proper tattoo system where you can place them all over your body with rotation, scaling, and multiple levels of color customization, it would 100% be hard to do -- harder than reskinning existing 3D models, for sure, and harder than adding new locations. I have a good pc: cpu i9-10850k Gpu Nvidia 3060 32 gigs of ram Motherboard: z590 steel legend

I have done all standard procedure you could think of: Verified files, reinstalled, ran as administrator, updated drivers, ran on steam and ea launchers, etc

It’s the only game I have that does this and I have ran a check over my memory which came back good. I play other intensive games with no issue.

Have not had any issues with anything other than this game, should I wait until there is a particular update or is there something I’m overlooking that I could do?

The bad communicationi is also making it totally unclear that it is Early access. What this game needs is more communication, better information in game about how the season works, and better answers from the devs and acknowledgement of things that go wrong and what they're doing to try and fix it. Personally I don’t see the S1 full blog from before the season started as a current node of communication for recent concerns from the community, nor for the drastic decrease in quality a lot of players felt on the release of the season.

I agree that there was communication leading into the season, but that blog doesn’t address current player concerns relevant to the season starting, pricing models feeling frustrating, or other feedback that’s arisen since then.

I think a lot of players want some form of acknowledgment past forums and patch notes that sometimes can feel a little tone-deaf to players with more niche issues (they should feel seen, too, not abandoned as many have expressed)

if you get the Premium skate.Pass, you can continue working on it through the next season.
once that next season ends, the previous season ends.

Example:
S1 - get the skate.Pass Premium and you can continue working on it through S2.

It’s cause there isn’t really a solution right now. Just make sure you got the points from it and unfortunately, you’ll just have to accept that it will show up as uncompleted. That’s what I had to do at least.

difference is destiny rising isn't cross play with consoles and pc it's not made to have all those consoles in mind because they have destiny. Which is why if they wanna do a mobile skate game it should be separate from this game and not connected no hate to mobile or anything but seriously I don't know how I have to explain that consoles and pc are so far ahead of mobile in terms of power and the fact they are literally made for gaming that making a game that can run on all of them is just holding back console and pc
