You need to have the person thats not lead to end the chal it'll give the co op bonus to the leader then pass it to the other person and start it back up

This game is fantastic. There are of course issues. I don't like the AI voice assistant, I wish it was Reda, or Coach Frank. It would be great to see love for professional skaters, real-life spots, yet I understand that would take time, money, and legal red tape. Micro transactions and live service is a choice, but free to play means that even my friends who wouldn't buy it are able to play with me for the fun of the vibes - and if using that practice means they can gross enough money to implement massive structural changes as time continues, with continued support, that would be worth it.

But people who are complaining that the game isn't perfectly symmetric with skate culture sound more like performative skaters than anything else. Skating is about taking a piece of wood with a pair of trucks, two pairs of wheels, and figuring out how to use it in various environments to create something new. It's about the transformative nature of imagination when paired with low inhibition and high ambition, coupled with a community to show off with and support. It isn't about the ripped jeans, gritty attitudes, substance use, hardcore music, a specific art style or anything of the sort. People who think that's what the culture is about are simply visitors to it, performative, and if they can't find a way to enjoy a game with limitless possibilities, I doubt they can do much out on the streets.

There were drastic visual improvements, textured have increased depth, the world feels more alive with trash and graffiti. The seasonal map additions feel like the city is having a party. The same gripes are still there, but those are larger changes that will take a lot of time and money if they do decide to change them.
