No settings changed, and I verified that my new controller works properly and triggers are triggering to 100%, and I can still use the trigger for any trigger bind off board - but now my game refuses to let me board grab. "Extremely easy" is silly though, relatively speaking, its harder than most of the other objectives in the game. 😛 If the entire game is "extremely easy" for you, sure.

As far as the difficulty actually available in the game, it's towards the top end. 😛

I think challenge difficulty is being eased in gently because a lot of players are completely new to the skate games and have to learn the mechanics, we should see harder challenges in the future

For me it's just a mission that's locked, but it's the very first one so all the content in the game is locked for me lol. Fast travel, leveling up, grabbing music, challenges and missions don't show up. All I can do is free skate right now

I think the progression is steady enough. Just do em with a coop partner. Challenges take only an hr or so to complete.

If you go into settings you can toggle things off to prevent it from happening, keep the one the let's you switch the side with left stick on but turn off dynamic changing, and can turn the height toggle off too
