honestly, same here. but i love character creators and spend ages in them, trying everything. @sacred parcel sliders are better than presets for sure, but the presets at the start of the game have women and men you can pick from, and it would probably help people get closer to what they want if they change their mind later in the game. and there are so many gigachad jawlines in the face shape thing, i find it hard to believe you can't look masculine. like the default dude in the game does not look feminine at all, and should be easy to recreate. @compact glacier sorry, i thought you were on pc. you could maybe try restoring licenses. settings > users and accounts > other > restore licenses.

thats just a judo. a Judo footplant is where you do a judo and then as you hit the ground you do a footplant and hop off the ground into the air. When you do LT+X that is just a regular judo. When you hold it and attempt to do a footplant the game just tucks the board back under you so you land cleanly instead of planting your foot on the ground and hopping before landing on the board again

It translates flick speed to height/flip speed as you'd expect but the differences are kinda subtle... I just tested heel flipping onto a waste high rail. was definitely hitting it more consistently as I went from 0 to 50 to 100. At 0 I had to make an effort to flick the stick up as fast as I could to hit max height. 100 was quite a bit easier

Yep, completely free to play, only microtransactions are for some cosmetic items but you get a lot of stuff free anyway. Every season there’s gonna be new areas, new brands and cosmetics, new music and some will have new tricks. Season 1 starts October, 2 in December when there’s a lot of anticipated content

I find I really like the smoothed out graphics in this new skate. I cant explain it but it just makes everything feel smooth. Not only to skate, but also on the eyes. It just feels very grounded. Like it could be 5 years from now and I would still find it attractive, while its not as “gritty” as the others, it has longevity, and is easily accessible to everyone.

But I was still envious of seeing the “community” excitement that they all shared, and all of the special events they could make memories from. So now with this skate, we have that chance, but only FULLY invested in the expressive and community sharing aspect. Its gorgeous. I’m stoked on the map, my biggest gripe w skate 3’s other than separate islands was that everything felt like a giant skatepark city. University district, dry dock, mega park, even just regular kind of spots were way too spread out. This map is so condensed and feels a lot less “HEY LOOK YOU CAN SKATE THE BRIDGE” while still having so many spots you stumble across or find cause you go the opposite direction. There are daily tasks, jams, co-op competition. Socializing, building and throwing down, having a sesh here and having a sesh there. But at the end of the day, you only have as much fun as the way you skate. Since it’s the skating that IS what you do. Give your own objective, and create the style of skating you want to do. Create how you skate. I sometimes lay in bed and think of a manny combo which carries on to the next day. Or a spot I could put a kicker that I had not thought of yet. You need to put in the sense of creation to give yourself objectives.

The team designing cosmetics are a totally different team from the one coding the core gameplay typically. Two almost entirely unrelated work efforts.

I doubt it. We players find new bugs and glitches and help developers fix such bugs. This game will shine out.
